Chris was great. Highly focused on us and never felt like any details were missed. Immediately we noticed the small things like picking up our straw papers from the table and any plates we finished. Did not feel like a regular sushi experience with delicious food and great music. We will come back again, thanks Chris! read more

Rock N Roll Sushi - Chicken, Shrimp & Filet Trio with Yum Yum Sauce - Sushi Bars Near Me - Spring, Texas

This restaurant was disappointing. The food I ordered looked nothing like the pictures that were advertised. The steak was not cooked well, and the rice was not actually fried. It seemed like they simply mixed soy sauce into plain rice and called it fried rice. I also ordered the tuna, but it was so underwhelming that I ended up taking it home and searing it myself to make it more enjoyable. The one highlight of the meal was the soup it was excellent and easily the best part of the experience. Because of that, I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars instead of 1. However, considering the price I paid, the overall quality and presentation did not meet my expectations, and I would not return based on this experience. read more

I've been here a few times and the place is nice and clean and the employees are approachable. The sushi has always been really good. This time I got the spicy shrimp roll, and it definitely hit fresh and flavorful. I've also had the California roll before and another roll I can't remember the name of, but those were really good too. The fried rice, though, was a bit disappointing. I ordered the chicken fried rice, and the chicken itself was really bland with almost no flavor. I ended up adding soy sauce to the whole thing, which helped, but it still wasn't anything special. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the sushi, but I'd probably skip the fried rice next time. read more

Rock N Roll Sushi in Spring, TX is a small spot in a strip center off Highway 45 at Cypresswood. The decor has a cool, hip, vibe. The service was very friendly and attentive. The Spicy Tuna Rockstars were excellent. The rice was crispy and added great texture. The Tour Bus Roll was full of flavor. Even the fried rice was delicious (and I am very picky about fried rice). It was moist and yummy. On Tuesdays they offer a BOGO special where you can buy one Headliner roll and get a Classic roll free, which makes it an even better value. Parking is easy with plenty of free spots right out front. read more

Just had a great dinner! I'm gluten-free and they had a good selection. The California Roll was excellent and I also had the Salmon Sashimi was also perfect. Service was great, everyone in the restaurant from Bartender to the service were friendly and we got our food quickly. The Rock N theme was fun and the noise level was also food! read more

First off great day to pick this place to eat Tuesday they have buy one get one free. They have a wide variety of menu items. Sure to please any pallet. I had the rock lobster roll and it did not disappoint. Our waiter was on point checked with us regularly and make sure we had everything we needed and as for the vibe, it actually blows you away all about rock n roll from the menu items to the decor read more

We always come here, but this is my first time reviewing, and I just had to! The food like always was on point, perfectly cooked, perfectly served, and tasted amazing. We got the Appetizer Sampler and the Headbanger shrimp as a starter, then for the main we got the baked VIP Roll and the Salmon, Yellowtail, and Eel sashimi with a bowl of white rice. My god!! Everything satisfied us. But the cherry on top, was the service. We got Michaela (Miki? I hope I spelled your nickname right!) as a waiter! She was flawless, super friendly, super quick, and was on top of drinks and making sure our food was good! She was also a blast to talk to! I told her it was my birthday, and she was so happy, and offered me a scoop of icecream, but made sure to ask if I was lactose intolerant first, which was just so considerate, she's the best waiter we've ever gotten! Thank you for making our day, Miki! From your friends Yūto and Terry! We'll be back, and hope to see you again! read more

We came back on 6/19/2025 (late review) and STILL love this place! The food and service was still amazing! We dined in and ordered the egg rolls, the jalapeño poppers and of course the Jailhouse Roll (our favorite roll). The ambiance has a nice vibe, plenty of seating and a bar area. It was also very clean and pleasant, which is a plus. No complaints at all, we love Rock N Roll Sushi! 10/10 read more

9.5.23 Lunch with daughter. Stars should be 2 for service and 4 for the food. So I split the difference and am giving them a 3 total. Here's why. First, they have a Tuesday special which is really good. Buy a "headliner roll" and get a "classic roll" free. We like this special. The rolls were good and tasty. The service was REALLY lacking though. They were not busy either. Just 2 other tables had customers. My daughter ran out of water half way through our meal. We could not get the waitress to stop talking to her co worker and look up at us so we could get her attention. She never came back to check on us either. The music playing was great. 80's rock music. All in all -- I will come here again and give them another try since this was my first time here. Hopefully the service will be better. read more

Excellent flavors. Restaurant is clean and friendly. Lots of Asians frequent this establishment

One of my favorite go to sushi places. They have one of the best happy hours from 3-6 and daily deals. My favorite is a bowl of edamame with spicy mayo and a nice traditional rainbow roll. The servers are all so friendly and the fish is so fresh! Really cool ambiance too they have TVs playing music videos... nice place to grub! read more

I would say the order was delicious. Eel roll and sweet home Alabama were a good mix. I was happy and the service was on point. I called and picked up my order, no wait. Ambience looked nice and the smell coming into the restaurant smelled like food. I was happy it did not smell like cleaning products, I have been in more than one restaurant where the smell of cleaning products ran me back out. Not here!! I will be returning again. read more

Pros : a good portion size sushi and generous slices compared to other sushi places. Good customer service Place seemed very clean Cons: not able to order happy hour sushi to go. All in all it seems like a nice clean place with good portion sizes for the price point! Would go again! read more

This place is awesome! Food: I had the Volcano Roll, and the Tour Bus. Volcano was a bit on the salty side for me, but great flavor and some people love that profile. TOUR BUS! It's a must do. Amazing, and a little spicy. It was awesome. Drinks are unique and amazing. Ambiance: Just trust me, you need to come check it out yourself. Love the classic and 90's rock music videos playing too. Service: Jason is the bomb! Literally one of the coolest bartenders. knowledgeable about the menu as well. Basically. Get here. You'll love it. read more

There's not many sushi options in this part of town, and I will say the location is the major draw for me, which is how I initially found myself here with another. Being located on the feeder is super convenient. This place exudes a unique fun rock and roll theme going on. Along with booths, there's bar seating available. I have very mixed feelings about this place, having been here on multiple occasions when craving some raw fish. It does have a few strong points. It's got a cool interesting non Japanese vibe. Service is fairly quick, and the food always comes out super quickly, so it's great for a fast meal. As for the food itself, it's been pretty hit or miss. They definitely serve only American style rolls, and they lack variety when it comes to fish options. There's five sashimi and nigiri options. I always order the ahi tuna salad, comprised of a nice portion of ahi tuna and mixed greens topped with a ample amount of cucumber, along with sliced avocado and strawberries. Make sure to ask for the creamy ginger dressing. It's much better than the sweet chili option that we were once served. I always enjoy a spider roll, and their version is just okay. It could definitely use more crab. Their unplugged roll is their version of a rice-less roll. Interesting idea, using cucumber in place of rice and seaweed, but the roll falls apart with even the slightest bit of handling. They do offer lunch specials and a select food happy hour, so that is a nice touch. On my last visit, the booth I was sitting on was shifting and sliding around on the floor when the person in the booth behind me was leaving. That was a first for me. Will definitely return for that ahi tuna salad. read more

Dope sushi spot From the menus, to the venue. This place is rocking and rolling. I've lived out here for a number of years and never knew this place was so cool. Even-though I got my food to go, I was impressed. Hopefully I can give this place one more star when I decide to dine in. I'll be back to write more... read more

First things first we went on a Wednesday night and it was raining pretty hard outside so when we came inside, there was maybe 12 people that were actually patrons and the rest were staff which was good we seated ourselves. It took approximately seven minutes before a server approached the table Asked us what we would like to drink, but did not bring us any menus so we had to ask for a menu. We ordered two bottles of sake and an order of egg rolls to start. In the meantime we asked if they had any of the beers on draft And the specific one that we asked for she said that they didn't have. Then, after researching the menu, we found out that they actually in fact, did have it, so we ordered beer. The server seemed not knowledgeable of the menu. We received our eggrolls that were good love the sauce that came with them. They were hot and crunchy then came the actual sushi itself for the price not bad the fact that they don't use real. Crab is a little disturbing, but again you're paying for I guess the experience of being in this cool atmosphere with great music playing in the background , the bartender seem to pay a little more attention to us than our own server and the sushi was OK again it's not any place that I would never go again besides the fact that the service was not as far as I'm concerned up to par. Make sure that you're reading the menu of what's going on everything because as for the server that we had, she didn't know shit about the menu Was good. It came out fresh again a little unappealing with the fake crab meat but you pay for what you got. I would definitely give it a try especially if you just want something quick and you want sushi but I would never take anybody there that wasn't a close friend. I would stick with more upscale places when it comes to sushi I like to vibe would recommend for a quick bite read more

There are some things that make this a good joint, but not sure I'd pick it again for sushi alone. The concept is cool - rock n roll themed menu and décor. But the booths move - so every time someone gets up or in they are shifting which was really annoying. The food also comes out super fast, so if you're in a hurry then it's a perfect spot to grab some food. The dishes I had (seaweed salad, twisted tuna, Jam Shesh Roll, and Unplugged) were mediocre at best. The seaweed salad was mostly lettuce and just a bit of seaweed. I had to dig around to grab the bites I could find. The twisted tuna and rolls were decent, but covered in way too much sauce - you could barley taste the fish, which is why I get sushi. I tried to find rolls that didn't have fried bits or weren't cooked as well, but this is most defiantly "American" sushi. So if that's your thing, you'll probably like it more than I did. read more

I absolutely love the sushi, I come in after I call in orders to pick up, and it is super fast and efficient! Definitely my go to place for pick up orders for sushi. I like the interior as well, I think it is cute and definitely goes with the rock and roll theme, as well as the names of the sushi rolls, but I but I just like to pick up an order from here. Maybe one day I will actually sit on Friday and eat but until then, Netflix and I have a date with the sushi place! read more

This is by far the best place for a family night out for sushi! We are new to the area and just getting to familiarize our neighborhood. We are grateful to have a variety of restos and surely would love to share our experience. We were thrilled to have walked inside and immediately we were greeted with such lively staff at the bar and quickly a cheerful staff let us pick our seat. Shortly, one of their staff member came and gave us our menu and asked what drinks we'd like to order. Shortly after that, it was time to order our food. Unfortunately, the menu is new to us, so we asked what's the most popular ordered menu. She did not disappoint us, other than sharing her favourite and two other popular menu we also added 3 orders of the hibachi plates. It did not take long for the food to arrive and let me tell you, IT IS DELICIOUS! **IF you are looking for a Japanese Sushi sit down place, this is not the place. This is an American Fusion "Rock n Roll" sushi bar serving japanese sushi menu. Their chef is amazing for my palette, the seafood they prepare is great, not over or under cook by any means. Closer to the end of our meal we met one of the owners Mr. D! A down to earth with a beautiful soul. We chatted a few minutes and was informed about the establishments history. We are grateful to have met Mr. D! This is the only place my husband's PTSD didn't flare up to the roof the minute we sat down. I highly recommend this place for a family night out. The tunes are excellent to say the least! read more

I literally felt like I was at a KISS concert. I love that the rock & roll theme radiates throughout this establishment. Even the sushi all have rock & roll themed names. I would highly recommend the: CRUE ROLL Some crews are legendary. Cajun-seasoned crawfish and cucumber inside, baked krabmeat and sliced jalapeños outside, topped with spicy mayo, eel sauce and crunchy flakes. (532cal.) KISS ROLL Tongues will wag. Shrimp tempura inside, topped with baked krabmeat, spicy mayo, eel sauce and crunchy flakes. (610cal.) Yessss!!! They are super addicting and nice sized rolls. You need only 1 to fill you up in my opinion. Also, Rock & Roll Sushi also has their own music video station that plays classic rock song performances on the tv screens as you dine. They never miss a beat! read more

This was a great spot - definitely a place I'll go back to. Small spot in a strip mall. Didn't give off the typical Japanese restaurant vibes. Felt more like a sports bar that serves sushi, and the sushi and sashimi were both excellent. Delicious sushi! If you are not into eating raw sushi or new to eating I recommend this place as they have many fried/cooked options.

I ordered on door dash as I was craving sushi and it had been a while since I've had it. This place was close and figured I'd try it! The doordash menu doesnt explain much. I had to call in to find out how many pieces for a shashimi order. It would help if the menu listed that information. I ordered 3 types of shashimi and 1 roll with a seaweed salad, my boyfriend ordered 3 types of nigiri (2 pieces each but we though it would be 1 because at the time he hadn't asked the lady on the phone how many pieces for nigiri, we figured that out later) I was doing carry out and my order was expected to be ready in 20 minutes which was nice because I was starving. When i got there, they had everything on a party tray, ginger and wasabi already and a bag with my seaweed salad and utencils (for 4 people) I enjoyed the chili roll alot, super crunchy with the tempora inside! The shashimi was room temp so it wasnt as enjoyable if it were sitting on some ice, but its to go so no worries. The overall price was kind of high, $104 for the entire order +service fees but I would order there again. read more

This place was amazing! It's a hidden gem in a strip center. It doesn't look like it would be good from the outside but when you walk in it is very nice. It's decorated in all kinds of rock n roll memorabilia. They are playing old school rock n roll music videos. The menus are old record album covers which is a nice touch. They have so many choices in sushi and the eggs rolls are delicious. It's also good they have other food like hibachi fried rice. We did have to wait a little bit to be seated and get waited on. I didn't get a picture of the sushi because I was a bit hungry. The sushi was pretty good, I got the Axl roll. The edamame was a huge disappointment tho. I got it "angry" for some spice and they only sprinkled a little seasoning on top. It didn't taste steamed, more that it was heated in the microwave or something. The chicken fried rice was also a miss for me. It wasn't seasoned well and just a few sprinkles of chicken. read more
