These guys are top notch . 2nd time using these guys to move .. three man team and they knocked it out again .. I love how the assemble all of your furniture for you after the move .. I won't use anyone else for a serious move read more

This is my first time using movers and it was a great experience. I spoke with the owner with questions I had during the process. The movers Rus & Gin (probably got their names wrong), but they were so kind and great and help me out my mind at ease. I will definitely use them in the future for moves. Thanks again! read more

Outstanding! From the beginning Global Moving was great to work with. Yuri was prompt and professional while booking my move. He answered all my questions and his recommendations were spot on. The 3-person moving crew was on time and meticulous. As retired military and experienced mover, I rate this crew as one of the best in my 15+ moves. They took care to ensure my belongings were well packed and safe, while carefully navigating through homes on both ends. Very professional and damage free move! read more

Great company and I highly suggest them. I met the owner and he is a very nice family man. They do high quality work and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to hire a moving company. read more

Global Moving Systems - Movers Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

I emailed Global Moving Systems for a quote through Yelp and based on Yelp reviews. Of all the companies I contacted, I picked them because of their fast response time and since their quote meticulously laid out each possible fee so nothing would be a surprise. I ended up moving on one of the busiest moving days of the year (last day of April) and unfortunately the truck assigned to me was having mechanical issues. It could have been a horrible experience and some movers would have canceled on me at the last minute, but Evgeny tracked down an available rental truck and made sure that his guys moved all my stuff super fast so that everything still finished on time with no extra fees. One piece of furniture was scuffed in the move (nothing major), but they brought it to my attention and reduced the moving charges to compensate for the damage. Moving day is always chaotic, but Evgeny did everything in his power to make sure that the job got done right and on time. I really appreciated that. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing!! I was extremely nervous about using a moving company. I've been burned in the past. But I had large pieces of furniture that needed a professional. I used GMS because of price and they had some nice reviews. I wasn't disappointed. They moved fast! I had estimated my move would take 4 hours. I didn't have much but like I said I've been burned before. It took Chris, Vadim and Zidan less than 2.5 hours (including drive time). I will definitely use them again! read more

I highly recommend this moving company. We did the move from lorton storage unit to our new house in Aldie. The crew arrived 15 mins early and started work right away. Non stop work. There were no breaks taken on their behalf and it was impressive how fast they cleared out a 10x30 unit in less than 2 hours. The crew were respectful and friendly. I would use them again for sure. read more

Thanks for global moving company. The communication over yelp msg and over the phone was amazing, the movers were 30min early and Jacob and his friend did a good job. The owner called during the move to make sure that everything is going smooth. Jacob speaks good English, and he tries to meet and exceed your expectations. Although they are young but they did a good job. I liked their honesty of stating that the fragile stuff should either be specially packed or I would take it in my personal car. Thanks read more

All our experiences with them have been great. They are professional, attentive to detail and upfront about the cost. They always handle our furniture very carefully. We live on the 4th floor in a building with no elevator. Despite needing to haul/carry things up and down the stairs, they never complain and are kind and accommodating during the whole process! Very pleased with their services. read more

I highly recommend global moving systems. We just moved to Woodbridge from Miami. Our stuff was on a ABF trailer and we moved into a condo with very strict move in times and rules. We got screwed by the company we hired, I called global and Eugene was awesome! It was a day before the trailer arrived and he was able to get us two helpers in less than 24 hrs!!! The guys were polite, on time and worked their tails off! So grateful for what we received. Will recommend and use again!! read more

Had the pleasure of working with Mikhail and Isaac moving all of my stuff from condo to condo. They were extremely thoughtful and considerate in moving all of my stuff - large and small. I was very impressed with the way they handled my Tempurpedic bed set - which is a beast. They dismantled it, move it, and reset it much better than the original vendor (Mattress Warehouse - they could take a lesson from Mikhail and Isaac!). Overall great experience from setting the move up with Anna in the office to the completion of the job! read more

My husband and I were truly impressed with the professionalism of this moving company. The three guys that they sent out were awesome. Our move went very well. We moved out of our townhome and into our single family home within four hours. I have and will continue to recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a great, affordable moving company. read more

First, I'll say Global did a great job moving our furniture- they were fast and took care to make sure our walls and furniture were kept in the best condition. If you are looking for good, cheap and fast, these guys are great and probably worth the small frustration I dealt with. GMS failed on communication. I was told by Stefan that every 30 min after the 2nd hour was prorated. When it was time to pay, the moving team told us they do not prorate unless the customer is unhappy. If you forward with these people make sure you have everything in writing because it was incredibly uncomfortable arguing over the payment at the end of the move. I had to show the mover my Yelp message with Stefan because he made me feel like I was trying to undercut the bill. Ultimately, he took a screen shot of the message and will be following up with the guys at the office. I will as well. Another botch in communication was speaking with the woman, Hannah. Stefan told me I could check in periodically day of and they would reach out to the movers and give us an ETA (when you book, they give you a 3 hour window when the movers are coming like 1-4pm). When I asked Hannah for an update, she would only tell me the window, until I told her to call the foreman and give us the updated ETA like Stefan promised. I'm not sure if she's full time, but it felt like I was talking to an intern. read more

Alex and his team helped us with moving on Aug 4th. It took 4.5 hours moving from Silver Spring to Herndon for a 2 Bedroom Apartment. They carefully packed all the furniture with their blanket, and disassembly the furniture and re-assembly the furniture for us. It was a great experience for me. read more

Global Moving Systems did a great job of helping me move from a 3br, 3-floor townhome into a 2br condo. They were extremely professional from the quote process through the actual move. The office staff communicated very clearly and helpfully when quoting and scheduling my move, and I appreciated being able to do all the paperwork online. It is really nice that their rates are uncomplicated and straightforward, without a lot of nickel-and-dimeing. The moving team was on-time, efficient, friendly, and very conscientious with my belongings. They were all very polite, they worked tirelessly, never made me feel rushed or in the way, and were really helpful. My bed and my child's crib needed to be disassembled to be moved, and they were able to take them apart and reassemble them without any trouble! I felt very comfortable and reassured by their careful packaging and handling of all my furniture that everything would be moved without incident. Nothing was broken, and they took care not to ding or scuff the walls or doors both at my old place and my new one. Moving is a really aggravating, tiring, and frustrating process, but everyone at Global helped make the logistics of getting everything from point A to point B much, much less of a hassle. I have already recommended them to friends and family, and I definitely would recommend getting a quote from them if you need movers! read more

I was very pleased with the care and professionalism displayed by the movers of Global Moving Systems. I felt I could trust them with my furniture and they proved to be trustworthy. They worked tirelessly until my home was put back together again after having been taken apart. I truly recommend them and give them a five star rating. read more

This is our first time using GMS. They are so good and professional. Definitely recommend! And I will use GMS again for my next moving.

Andrew, Alfred, and Valdamir were just what we needed, actually way more! They showed up on time, wrapped everything with moving blankets and at least six roles of tape (maybe more), handled every item with care, managed the tight turns, dealt with our dogs barking, and placed everything with precision. Moved out and moved in within less than 2 hours and 100% worth the hour minimum. Andrew especially went out of his way. I noticed one of the legs for the bed frame was missing (my fault for not keeping it altogether when I disassembled it) and called him. He took the time to search the back of the moving truck, found it, and brought it by quickly. Moving is stressful but these guys made it easy for us. Thanks to all three of you! read more

Amazing service - efficient, on time, and affordable. We moved a 1.5 bedroom apartment from DC to a single-detached house in Virginia about a 30 min drive away in about 4 hours. Rush and his crew are super experienced. They packed the furniture carefully but moved quickly, even though they charge by the hour. They also helped us dismount our large but delicate 65" screen TV, as well as dissemble a complicated L shaped desk. We were nervous about the move, but Rush really made us feel at ease. Highly recommend! read more

Great moving experience. The easiest move I've had, and took no time at all. The gentlemen who helped me move were friendly, professional, and delicate with my belongings. I'm very happy with the service and the cost as well. This was the lowest quote and it came out to be cheaper than the quote as well. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a move! read more

Big and little Naagi were great. Focused, efficient, and timely. Perfect move. Recommend Global Moving Systems. Very happy customer.

We used Global to move from Alexandria to Reston this weekend. Chris, Vova and Valijon were our crew and they did a great job. The guys showed up a bit early and hustled the entire time. They were nice guys and treated our possessions with respect. Julia who set up the move was also very professional and responsive to our questions. We felt the price for the move was very fair for the service we got. We would use Global again - they did what they said they would do. read more

We hired Global for our apartment move based on the hourly rate and lots of great reviews on Yelp - it was well worth it. Jose and Garrick arrived within the 2 hour window they gave us and had all of our furniture, boxes, and everything moved out of the apartment, down a flight of stairs and packed into the truck within 2 hours. They supplied blankets for furniture, tape, and shrinkwrap for the couch. Global was also happy to stop at our storage unit along the way to swap out a few pieces of furniture. The unloading at the new apartment was really quick and the guys were thoughtful to ask where each box went in the new place. Definitely recommend - very pleased with Global! read more

These guys were great! Came right on time, were quick with loading our stuff and wrapping all our vulnerable furniture, and really careful loading and unloading into our houses, no scratches or dents as far as I could see! We had Mamuka and Misha as our movers and they were wonderful. I'd be remiss to mention the price- amazing. It was far cheaper than most of the other movers I looked at, and it worried me a little because as you know, you get what you pay for, but these guys were awesome! Would definitely use again. read more

I was able to coordinate a move with them only six days out from my move date. They were incredibly helpful both through email correspondence and over the phone. The move itself was uneventful, which is the best way a move can be. The two guys were efficient and were very careful with all of my furniture. They wrapped everything in furniture padding which was an unexpected plus. They dismantled my bedframe and reassembled it at my new place with no issues. Nothing was broken, scratched, or dented. All in all, great value for the price! read more

This was the most seamless moving experience I have ever had! Stefan accommodated me at the very last minute (I called on a Thursday and Moved on the following Saturday) and was incredibly helpful. The moving team was so fast, nothing was even dinged, and they even helped me pack a box of things at the last minute! On top of that they were so sweet and wonderful to chat with. In the end the price was at least a third less than anyone else I looked at. I would recommend them to ANYONE. Please give them a call! read more

Kenny and his partner (can't remember his name) arrived within the time frame of scheduled move. They worked very quickly moving my belongings to another unit within the same building. They took apart and reassembled my bed. None of my items are damaged or scuffed. They even rearranged the furniture when I changed my mind about how they should be set-up. Super efficient, fast and safe. Would use again! read more

extremely disappointed in the move. i paid almost $10k to move around the state for full packing service. over $1k for a full packing service alone that was extremely sloppy. they pack very badly, doesn't fill the box properly , so much empty spaces, tossed all my toiletries, bathroom products out, my sofa was full of black stains, it wasn't cling wrapped, more than 20 furniture and items are broken. they arrived not on the days as agreed and so much chaos. payment by credit card costs 6%. in the end, it cost me much more than bigger reliable company. their insurance also costs more than other company. i read good reviews from them and thought it would be ok, it wasn't my experience sadly. smooth talker, does not deliver. read more

I used Global Moving Systems for my move from old town Alexandria to Washington DC yesterday. David and Garik were great! They were polite and efficient and spent their time carefully but quickly moving me out of the old house and into the new. I have an adjustable bed that I thought would be a real challenge for them. They had it apart in minutes and put it back together perfectly. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this experience. One tip for other movers... materials you may have to pay for includes the masking tape that is used throughout the move. Inexpensive but unexpected. I paid extra ($15) for a mattress cover. They still came in under other quotes. read more

I used Global Moving couple of weeks ago. The booking process was seamless. My movers were Enhe and Max and I highly recommend Global  and would not hesitate to hire them again. Movers were quick, efficient, polite and no accidents or breaks. Thank you for making it a fun and hassle free day! read more

I relocated to another county (approximately 40 miles) and had a wonderful experience with Naagi and team from GMS. They arrived within the specified window, provided notification 20 minutes before arriving, and immediately got to work. All bulky and fragile items were well wrapped and cared for in the move. Naagi and team were friendly and efficient! They completed the move an hour earlier than quoted and expected. I will definitely use them in the future! read more

Global Moving made it easy to set up our moving date and logistics. Alex and his team showed up in the time frame we had decided on and called when they were on their way. The crew was professional, hard-working, and thoughtful. They wrapped all large furniture pieces in blankets and/or plastic at no additional cost. Just what we were looking for. read more

Had a wonderful experience moving with GMS. Eugene was great throughout the entire process, communication was excellent, and the move went exactly as planned on the day of. Can't say enough good thing about the crew, and their price was great to boot! Go with GMS and you won't regret it! read more

Moving is always so stressful, but these guys got me through the day. We had issues w cars parked in our designated moving truck spot, but they still managed to pull through by parking down the street and pushing our stuff up an incline. Thank you so much Naagi and Naagi!! read more

Global Moving Systems helped me with a move in Alexandria, VA this past weekend. Our movers, Mike and Buda (not sure if I have the right spelling), were fantastic. I was happy to receive a call about an hour before they arrived. They arrived promptly at their stated time. They were friendly and I was very impressed with their professionalism. They were also impressively tolerant of my barking dog! The move was completed faster than I anticipated, and they exercised great care in handling my items. I would absolutely hire Global Moving Systems for any future move and will recommend them to others. Thank you! read more

Top Notch!!! Local Move from Woodbridge VA to Clinton MD. My movers were Vadim, Aziz and Rafa. They were prompt and early from the start. I was moving from a 1900 sqft condo with three flights of stairs. The team packed up all my household goods and disassembled furniture without damage. The only hiccup was that I had an additional stop scheduled for pickup to a storage unit but was unable to complete same day due to the truck being packed to capacity. The team moved my belongings to the new house, reassembled my furniture and scheduled to pick up and deliver my other items from the storage unit the next day at no extra charge. Great Experience!!..I would definitely recommend this company!!!! read more

Today I moved using their services for the second time. Alex's team was amazing! They were very courteous, respectful, organized and helped me greatly with all the objects that were not in a box. They disassembled all the beds and assembled them back perfectly, same as the desk. Everything came into the new house in perfect conditions. I recommend Alex or Bakha's team anytime. read more

Very good movers. Nothing got broken. The only thing I would recommend is having slip over shoe covers to on on movers shoes moving items on customers hardwood floors. The movers had to take their shoes off and on doing my move to prevent damage to hardwood floors in the house. I would also recommend four men instead of three men for large moves. Very professional workers. read more

I moved on Sept 23. My experience was not perfect, but the way they handled it is why I am giving 4 stars. The booking process was simple, I put a deposit and they confirmed. The problem was I was told I would get 3 movers, but on the day of, only 2 movers showed up and said the third guy had called out. They did give me a bit of a discount since the third guy wasn't there, but they still charge by the hour so obviously three men will be faster than 2. The two guys that showed up were very nice. The leader was a strong looking middle eastern guy. The second guy was a very skinny Asian guy so I did worry that he wasn't going to be able to pull his weight, but in actuality the guys were extremely fast. I bought them some lunch and tipped very well. The middle eastern guy gave me a big thanks and they went on their way. I have no complaints about this company other than the third guy not showing up, but it happens and the two guys that came were great. read more
