Elite just completed a move from my house to a storage unit. Richard and Reginald did a phenomenal job. They showed up on time, worked tirelessly for several hours, courteously handled my special requests, and swiftly and professionally set up my storage unit. First-rate job! read more

Outstanding service. Very fair prices. No drama. Extremely experienced/ professional crew. Very accommodating and honest - no surprises. A+

DO NOT HIRE! Once you pay (right before they complete the move), all final steps are trash. Damaged property without notification, left house without completing safety features, and not level. All verified by 3rd party professionals, and 9nly silence from this company. I retain photos of all this if anyone wants to see them. read more

I contacted Elite with very short notice and they came through. Richard and Samuel worked extremely hard for several hours for us. They were friendly and professional and we are thoroughly satisfied with the quality of work, and the price was reasonable. The next time I need movers I won't hesitate to call them again, I highly recommend them! read more

YET AGAIN, another successful move with Elite movers! This makes our 3rd move using this company! The move was easy, quick, and professional and I'll tell you why. The speed of these employees is amazing. They loaded up heavy boxes, dressers, tv stands, beds, boxes of books without hesitation and with diligence. At no point did I think they were lallygagging! And they unload faster than they load. They had us in our new home within 1:15 min. They wrap up ALL furniture with materials that they bring. And pack the truck securely as well. I was NOT concerned about the security of my items one bit. And they worked well as a teams. Very professional and knowledgeable. The only constructive criticism I have is that our move was originally scheduled for 1 pm. Richard (owner) reached out and asked if they could come at 11:30 am WHICH WE WERE EXCITED ABOUT... so we made changes in our schedule so that we could be ready for them... but they didn't arrive until 12:30 pm. With all this being said... I would ABSOLUTELY utilize Elite Movers services again!! Without question. You will want to hire these guys! read more

Great experience. Showed up early, fair & straightforward pricing, and definitely worked very hard. Carried & strapped things carefully. Appreciate it! read more

My move was local. I messaged Elite moving company with dates. They responded immediately and were flexible with the dates and times I needed for a door to door move, moving me the same week of my request. Arrived on time, hard working, respectful and took great care wrapping all furniture. They were inexpensive. Great moving company. I highly recommend Elite Movers. I would use them again. Update: I recently used Elite movers again and they did a fabulous job packing, wrapping and securing everything. They were incredibly professional and polite, on time, efficient and reasonably priced. I've had over twenty moves over the last 30 years. Elite movers are, by far, the very best movers I've ever used. I highly recommend them. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for some time now! I searched for moving services around the Memorial Day holiday. Some places were booked as it was a popular weekend for moving. Not only was Elite Services available, but they had the most competitive pricing in the area. Richard was very friendly during our correspondence and I ended up choosing them in terms of availability, proximity, and price. Although I didn't have much furniture and was probably a small time customer for them, they treated the job as if it were as important as a bigger one. They arrived right on time and got straight to work. I was amazed at how fast they worked and I didn't have to lift a single finger. I ended up being able to spend so much more time on settling in and unpacking than I initially thought. I'll definitely be calling them again for my next move! read more

Moving can be very stressful, but for us, Elite movers took the stress out of the event. 2 weeks ago we did an initial move, putting part of our household in storage to stage our home for listing and in October moved The 3 movers were professional, courteous, fast and efficient. It was great to have Richard heading the crew for both moves and added to our comfort level. Thank you very much read more

They knocked it out of the park with their service. Three bedroom under two hours for a great price. Everything was packed carefully. The mattress were wrapped in plastic. Was nervous about the move but Elite really saved the day. read more

So this was our first move with Elite Movers, AND these people are faster than any movers I have ever come across. To the point, strictly professional and very accommodative to our packaging needs. They literally packed every little thing in no time and with such grace and care. Humble and hard-working guys. No more hunting for the Perfect movers now :) read more

Elite movers is a very professional company Richard came today to my place in Tysons Corner along with one other person they moved all the furniture carefully into the truck they were very professional and they did the job on time and they arrived on time. I highly recommend this company these guys are good at what they do and very professional. read more

The person who booked me and the two guys that showed up to move my stuff were awesome! They came prepared and were professional and efficient, and didn't waste any time. They showed up 15 minutes early. In an age where people are usually rude and late, this was REFRESHING. 110% recommend everyone use them! read more

I wish I could give Elite Movers 6 stars. Richard and his crew were AMAZING. My boyfriend and I moved from an 800 sq ft. apartment in Ashburn (a 3rd floor apartment... so many stairs...) to a townhome in Centreville (again... MORE stairs... lots of them...) and the WHOLE move took them only THREE (3) hours!!! I don't know how they did it so fast. Honestly, I'm in shock! They showed up 20 minutes early and got right to work. We told them not to take the bed frame, as we were just going to take it apart and trash it, and they offered to take it for us anyway! They were SO efficient and professional. I can't say enough good things about Richard and his business. Not to mention, their prices are the best in the area. I am going to recommend them to any and all people I know who are moving! Thanks, Elite Movers! You guys are the best!!! read more

Selected Elite Movers after checking all the reviews and getting price quotes from multiple companies. Was a little hesitant because of the lack of confirmations but gave them a call the day before just to be sure everything was on schedule. Moving was schedule for 9:00 AM and I was surprised that they actually arrived on time and even called a little before to let me know. Hired 2 movers at a per hour basis, and dang they were fast. They had everything packed into the truck while I was still packing some last minute things. Most companies have people that work slow or take multiple breaks but we were all ready in less than 1.5 hours for a 800sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. They were also great at wrapping some of the furniture that could get scratched along the way and pointed out when something looked broken such as the feet on the dresser. Arrived at the new place, and they had their own roll-out mat to protect the floors while they moved stuff in. Everything went great as we had the boxes marked to which floor we wanted them placed. All in all, I am very satisfied with the service. Pricing was great and everything came in pristine condition. I am using them again to move some more furniture from a POD and plan to recommend to friends / family if they ask. read more

Very disappointed and misled from the reviews for this moving company. Our experience was the worst moving experience I've ever had. I moved with one roommate and my previous moves have included at least 3 people and took less than half the time. Before we got on the phone and complained to the owner Richard (who was understanding and helpful) it was taking the movers 3x as long to move anything. Richard came and helped us unpack at the next location and it was much much better. We discussed how upset we were when they finished. We agreed on a good price that both parties were comfortable with given the circumstances. read more

Phenomenal! They were fast and efficient and it relieved so much of my moving stress. Would definitely recommend!

Elite moved me from my Alexandria apartment to my current place in Maryland a month ago. The move was smooth and quick. The team showed up 15 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, which is great, and were ready to get started as soon as they arrived. I would definitely recommend Elite Movers to anyone looking for an affordable and professional move. read more

Everyone throughout the process was professional and knowledgeable. The quote was excellent and even though I had to add a few pieces at the end they prices were reasonable. The delivery team was real team each moving quickly and efficiently to put all the pieces back together and were I wanted! I was so impressed with the delivery team I tipped them well! Yes I would use them again! read more

2 guys arrived about 75 minutes late but went straight to work and didn't milk the clock. My only critique is that they need to move very slowly when passing furniture through doorways making absolutely sure no banging or rubbing occurs. They also need some experience when loading belongings into a storage facility so the owner can have reasonable access to items within it. On super short notice and 2 hr work window it was well worth it and I would use them again. Jason read more

My wife and I used Elite Movers yesterday to move us from our two bedroom apartment to our first home. Richard and his colleague who's name I think is Franky, did an excellent job with the entire move. They were polite and very professional. During both the loading and unloading, they took great care of our stuff while still moving quickly and efficiently. They taped up our couch and TVs. I thought the unloading phase would pose some problems since it was pouring out but that was not the case. Before unloading, they put down runners, which kept the floor dry. They moved quickly and took care not to bang up the walls. The rain was not a problem for this crew. They finished the whole move a little under 5 hours. The pricing was competitive and they brought their own truck. I would use them again. read more

I wanted to hire these guys based on their reviews. I am planning on moving myself via a rental truck and wanted to hire professional loaders which they advertise that they do. I sent an email asking, based on their professional experience, what a ballpark expectation of guys and hours are normal. Is it three guys for 8 hours, or is it three guys for 3 days. What I received back were two terse responses, one of which said "once again, we don't do that." Whoever is responding to the email doesn't leave their name nor should they be in a position to be the first impression of this business. For all the good reviews, I am running fast and far from any company that doesn't even begin to answer basic questions. Hopefully they will figure out and learn from this post that prospective clients often have questions before they hire. Beware of this sham and beware of the the spin provided by the company's representative. He says two estimates were provide. Not true at all. What was provided was an hourly rate. Hardly an "estimate." I invite anyone to contact me directly about this company before hiring. Don't be fooled. read more

We did a local move from Sterling to Leesburg and these guys were great; very efficient and very careful.

On time and completed the job exactly as I wanted - will use again - quick response on quotes also

Used them for my move this weekend and they were awesome. Super fast, almost too fast because I was still packing when they arrived and I got nervous that I was in their way and slowing them down, but everything worked out in the end. I planned for 3 hrs like my last move, but they got it done in 2.5 hrs and I have a lot of heavy, large, antique furniture. The price you can't beat, especially considering how fast and friendly they are. The only issue was that they did not wrap my bed and I didn't notice until I saw them rest the side edge of the bed on the floor outside of my apartment. Was a little grossed out, but I cleaned and sanitized it after the move. I would definitely hire them again for my next move. read more

I used Elite Movers and I am very happy with the service they provided. Granted it was the smallest move ever they did a great and quick job. I moved from a basement apartment in Annandale VA (with stairs) to a one bed condo (without stairs) in Fairfax, VA. I had a small move but I did have a heavy mattress and a queen bed frame plus about 15 boxes. They moved it all in about an hour I think it was. They secured my breakable items and were kind and friendly. I was quoted $500 by Bookstore Movers (which I used before they charged an arm and a leg) and another company but Im happy with Elite. Not only that but I ended up having to postpone my move last minute and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend! read more

I was a bit skeptical at first because their per hour rate was so much lower than anyone else's, but I decided to go with Elite Movers because it was such a better deal. They showed up about 20 minutes late on the day of the move, which is no big deal, but they did not start the clock until they were actually in the apartment and ready to start packing. Once they started, they moved fast and worked hard. They did a great job moving everything into my new home, and were very attentive to where I wanted every piece of furniture and box placed in the house. I would definitely recommend Elite Movers to everyone, as it's a great value for a very professional job. This move could have easily cost me over a $1000 based on some of the other estimates I received; however, with Elite Movers it cost less than $500. Thank you Elite Movers! read more

You would think that if they charge by the hour they probably would slow things down to earn more. But not these guys, they are super-efficient, professional, honest and the rates are reasonable too. I was 20 mins late from my appointment and they actually showed up 10 mins earlier. I was prepared to pay starting from the time they arrive but they start the clock when they actually went into the house with me. A local move of a 1 bedroom apartment took less than 2 hours. Will definitely use their service again in the future. read more

We hired Elite Movers in November based on their reviews on yelp. They did an amazing job and moved a 3bed 2.5 bath house in 2hrs! They were professional and took very good care of our furniture. We will definitely be hiring them for our next move. read more

These guys did such an amazing job! I was worried since their pricing was so much less than everyone else but they showed up a little earlier (about 15 minutes) than planned which worked out well. They called to confirm the address before they came out which I appreciated since our address was not always easy to find. We had only planned on two hours for the move since we were only moving down the street. It took a little longer than expected because they had to take apart our bed frame but when they put it back together they fixed a drawer that hadn't closed right for about a year! They were very professional and worked the entire time they were there. I would definitely recommend Elite Movers for your next move. read more

Richard and Franklin at Elite Movers were wonderful movers. I used them to move in the beginning of July. They were reasonably price and did great work. They handled my furniture with care and they were quick. I would definitely use them again! read more

They were on time efficient ,courteous and the price matched my budget, they did a great job. What more could I ask thank you guys

This company was AMAZING!!! We had to move out a week earlier than expected, so at the last minute I called these guys on a Thursday and was able to schedule 7am on Sunday no problem. We were in a 4th floor walk-up apartment, but that wasn't an issue at all. The two gentlemen who loaded up our truck for us did it so quickly, carefully, and with such ease - we were amazed! They made sure to wrap all the furniture in plastic and covered it all with moving blankets to prevent damage. In just 3.5 hours they packed up my entire apartment, moved it 45 minutes away, and then unloaded it at my new destination. Couldn't have asked for a better crew! read more

Found then on a whim, and glad I did! They are super friendly and reasonable. Due to unfortunate events, we needed to call Richard and his crew 5 separate times. And with all that was going on with us, there was absolute no guarantee that they would be available or willing to deal with the mess we were in. But they were SO patient with us and took out a lot of time to get us fully moved in. Cannot thank them enough! They were super flexible and professional. If it wasn't for them, I would have probably had my stuff stranded somewhere because no one would have dealt with our move. Thank you Richard and his team! read more

My husband and I are SO glad we went with Elite Movers. We had one day to get all of our stuff out of storage, and Elite Movers was quick to respond and offer their services. We had Edwin and Frankie help us move a bunch of furniture and boxes from the storage unit to our new home. They were quick, efficient and wasted absolutely no time. Their price cannot be beat, and there are no hidden fees, which was deeply appreciated. They were super friendly too. They won't let you down. 10/10!! read more

Richard, the owner, is friendly. We've used his services twice. He and his crew arrived early each time and got the job done. Very competitive price. We will use his service again. read more

These guys were fantastic. Totally professional. Showed up exactly on time and had the entire move done earlier than expected. Great price. Would defiantly use them again and will recommend to friends. read more

Before starting the moving process (and hiring movers for the first time ever), I was worried that it'd be tough to choose a company among the gazillion choices in the greater DC area. But, total per hour, I could'nt find a company that came anywhere near Elite Movers in terms of low prices. And, the actual process was smooth and the movers didn't try milking the clock. When we couldn't fit things upstairs, they moved quickly to dissemble furniture items and reassemble upstairs. Job well done on a stress-free (well, as stress-free as possible) day! read more

We used Elite Movers for a move in the Herndon, VA area in July 2018. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and they sent us one truck with plenty of space. The movers were professional and efficient and the price was very affordable. Nothing was damaged and they were very careful with both our walls and furniture. They used protective wrap for a fair bit of the furniture. It was a really good experience, so I recommend elite movers if they are available in your area. read more

Stress free move, cannot believe we actually moved. Something usually breaks, gets scratched whenever we moved (every other year), but not this time, Richard and team were awesome, took extreme care of our stuff . Did quiet and quick load /unloads, they even got two huge boxes for small stuff which cannot be packed in boxes, ex: Comforter sets, huge soft toys, etc. read more
