The movers arrived on time, listened to what I wanted and quickly did as I asked. they were nice, efficient and respectful. They were less expensive than any other company I called. it was a quick job. just moving a LARGE dresser. took less than an hour and i was asked many times if I needed anything else and if I was ok. will definitely use them again! read more

Although I was happy with this company in the past, I would not recommend or use again. The contract was not honored, the owner, offered ultimatums of the team not arriving until after the agreed upon time, if they couldn't come early and leaving my goods scheduled for the dump, on my curb if I did not pay the higher fee. My housing clients and I know customer satisfaction is priority #1. Unfortunately, this was not the case with this company. So sad... read more

Mishandled my belongings. Damaged boxes, looked like water damage, broken items inside opened and poorly re-packed boxes, MANY lost boxes, as well as STOLEN VALUABLE PROPERTY. They even sent me photos of the items they still had in their possession! NEVER DELIVERED THEM TO ME, so I have PROOF!! Completely dismissive, didn't give a damn! read more

I can't say enough great things about the Mighty Movers! They were on time, friendly, very careful with our possessions and such hard workers. And the price was right! Unprofessional management, rude and don't care about clients. I told them the sq footage of the house and how much stuff we have. We agreed on 3 guys and big truck. When we booked the appointment the dispatch said the guys would arrive around 12pm. On moving day 2 guys and small truck arrive around 2:30pm. He calls management on speaker phone, I let him know we had asked for big truck and 3 guys. Also we have been waiting for over 2 hours. It's the same guy who set up the appointment and he's rude af when I express my concerns. After trying to figure out what to do at this point, he tells his guys to leave and they'll come back with bigger team. Dispatch calls me back and they offer to send 5 guys at higher rate and I said okay just send them because it's getting late and we need to move now. Then they want to charge me double now at a fixed rate, it's already almost 4pm. They explained "nobody wants to move you right now it's late and it's going to be dark soon." Whose fault is that?! So now I have to delay my move another day, call around last minute and unpack some of my stuff. Mistakes can happen but at least treat and talk to your clients like they matter. Horrible experience overall 0 stars. read more

Worst moving experience I have ever had in my life. I do not feel like the movers I was sent were experienced. They roughly handled/ mishandled boxes labeled fragile or keep upright, I had to help them load items or push carts, and they did not use the tape and materials I provided them causing me to be charged extra. I will never book again. When I expressed my concerns over the move with Daquashia, I never received a response. I highly recommend avoiding this moving company. read more

Yeah. I can't recommend them. I used them to move my things to storage then back out. They smashed my 51 inch plasma. Had to throw it out. They said because I didn't get the upgraded insurance, which I was never offered, the best they could offer me was $50.00 refund...for my 51 inch smashed plasma. I spent around 2k on the move with them. When I asked when I would have been offered an upgrade I insurance, she said it was "when I checked out online." All of the business I did with them was over the phone. I was never offered an upgrade in insurance on the phone. Never even knew insurance was involved. They didn't mention it until I told them about my plasma. They also broke a glass lamp...but I let that go. They also charged my credit card twice. Not a big deal..they reversed the charges when i called. But in light of the plasma situation..I'd say proceed with caution. read more

Worst move of my life. Disaster. The owner/manager lied. Repeatedly. What a snake. Bigtime. The packers didn't show up. I should have cancelled. Disaster. They stole things. My passport is gone, and more. Maybe ok if I was just moving concrete blocks or something, but cant be trusted with household goods that you care about. The workers - I would give negative stars if I could. I should have fired them. read more

I needed help picking up a couch that I was buying, transporting it to my home and then moving around some other couches within the home to accommodate the new one. The two mighty movers completed all of this seamlessly, timely and without issue. I appreciated the flexibility in taking a smaller task, and immediate service (we were able to get the project completed the same day that I called to inquire about availability!). Would certainly hire again! read more

The moving crew was courteous, efficient, and timely. Everything was handled with care. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Really, really solid movers. They showed up on time, were extremely efficient, kept all of my stuff safe, and the price was basically exactly what they quoted. I was particularly impressed by how quickly they were available to move me: due to annoying crap outside of my control, I only gave them 24 hours' notice, and they were still able to make it work and got my stuff moved on time. I'd strongly recommend these guys. read more

We needed furniture moved around in the house. It's 3 floors so we needed help getting furniture up and down the stairs. Mighty Movers were the most affordable in the area. $120 an hour with a 2 hour minimum & travel time = $300. A really good deal. Simon & Luis were our movers. They gave off good vibes, I trusted them right away. I don't know what it is with us and movers but we recently moved and we've been fortunate both times with fast and strong movers with a good attitude. These guys were exceptionally organized. Thanks Mighty Movers for making this process so easy. They finished in under 2 hours. Please remember to tip the movers generously!! read more

Mighty Movers is definitely a great recommend by me! Let me start off saying my experience with Cliff (manager) was impeccable. His customer service was top notch by going above and beyond with his pricing and fairness to discount as needed. The movers did a phenomenal job! I was impressed with how they came on time - matter of fact, they came an hour early. Of course they called me first to see if it was ok to start the move early and I was excited to get it over as soon as possible so they made my day just by being early. Next, the movers took their time with moving my items - strategically - and I was very impressed! They arranged my furniture and ensured everything was place exactly how I wanted - big thank you for that. After they were done, they asked if everything was to my satisfaction with the furniture arrangements and I couldn't have thanked them enough. I wanted to add Abi to my great experience with Mighty Movers because she was very nice and was always glad to assist with setting up my move. She too has great customer service. This was the best moving experience ever! Thanks Mighty Movers!!! read more

Luis and the team were very professional during the move. They worked fast and were very careful with my furniture. Packing everything in cling wrap, protected my OLED TV with blankets, boxes and bubble wrap(I provided). The pricing is very competitive compared to other companies which is why I chose them in the first place. I moved from a one bed into a townhome with lots of items and they helped me move all the heavy items upstairs. Highly recommend them! read more

This was a furniture move from a storage unit to residence. The movers arrived on time. They took extreme care to protect the furniture throughout the moving process. No surprise/additional charges upon completion of the move. It was a positive experience at a great value. read more

The first thing I want to make sure and mention, is that the movers, Juan and Luis were top notch professionals. If I had only worked with them, this would be a 5-star review, easily. They were efficient, careful, and quite honestly, impressive with their handling of all of our valuables. Nothing was so much as scratched, and watching them wrap everything in blankets and tape things up was very reassuring. We had originally been nervous about hiring someone to handle our breakables but we were put at ease as soon as we saw them go to work. My complaint is about Cliff. First off, I called around to a lot of moving companies to gather quotes based on the size of the apartment and our inventory. I sent pictures and lists to everyone and many of the quotes came back at around $1,700. Cliff's was similar at $1,600, and I let him know I'd think about it. Shortly after that call, I received an email that he could do it for $1,400, flat rate, which was a bargain! I quickly (and gratefully) signed off on that offer, and thought, how nice!! Fast forward to our actual move, and the truck that was brought was too small to accommodate all of our things. They brought a 16' truck, and the pictures attached show how much was left behind. The movers, being the professionals they were, did their best to prioritize the big stuff and stuff the truck as full as possible for us. Fortunately, we needed to return the next day anyway for a dr. appt. The original plan had been to clean up the apartment and then let the listing agent take over by Monday. Since so much was left behind, we were going to have to change the plan to move the rest of our things somehow. I got a call from the company that they needed payment for the remaining balance and I asked Cliff if something could be done to help us with the remaining load. Either a discount, since we were expecting everything to be moved, and would now have to rent a truck on our own to move things, or help getting the rest moved, as was originally agreed. He charged us the full amount owed on the move and said the quote should have been higher for a 20' truck based on the pictures and list of items and asked who quoted us... I told him it was him. He said his staff should have followed up, etc. etc. Then he proceeded to admit that he changed the quote from $1,600 and a 20' truck to $1,400 and a 16' truck because he reviewed the pictures and list again and felt it could be done at the second quote. Clearly, he was mistaken, and...that's not my fault? Anyway, it felt like he was trying to blame his team for the admin issue and I wasn't crazy about that, but as long as it's sorted, no big deal I guess. He seemed to want to make it right, and I was very happy that I had called and asked in the first place because I almost hadn't bothered. He told me he'd scramble up a team to come back over same-day and help us with the rest of the items that needed to be moved, and I was ecstatic! I was actually going to offer to pay the difference of what should have been charged for the mix-up in the quote and leave a glowing review for his effort to make things right. The problem happened when the movers arrived back at the property without a truck. They asked, where's your truck? Our boss said you had a truck for us to help you load up. I called Cliff while standing in the parking lot with a confused team of movers and told him I don't have a truck, and I thought he was sending one to make things right? He turned a full 180 in his attitude working with me. We had a good rapport leading up to this point, and I thought we understood each other. He dropped all professionalism and told me he had been led to believe that I had a U-Haul, as if his misunderstanding and lack of clear communication was my fault. I never once said I had a U-Haul, and he should not have "assumed." I corrected him and told him that I had said I would be disappointed if I had to get a U-Haul since I had already paid for a full move. First, he said, "well what did you think this was?" Then that he's not sending his guys all the way back to Williamsburg, and that he was just going to have them come fill up our U-Haul at no cost. I asked, well what would it take for us to get a truck then? I needed a truck, there was no way around that. He said he wasn't going to have them go all the way back to get a truck and then come back, etc. That's a whole new move. Then he said he had hoped "to be done with this." I was at a loss. My husband and I had to apologetically send Juan and Luis back on a wasted trip, and now we're back to square one, trying to figure out how to move this last load of stuff, which we have already paid to have moved. In Cliff's own words, "wow that's a lot of stuff they left behind." In the end, we paid for the full move, but were left with this. As someone who runs a small business myself, I don't make this review lightly, but I would also never treat a customer this way. read more

Might Movers saved the day and my back. I canvassed the local mover community to find someone who could move an extremely heavy piece of exercise equipment from my garage to my basement gym. Even after partially disassembling it, it still weighed over 400 pounds and the weight wasn't every evenly distributed. There was no way I could have moved it by myself. I asked five separate movers - including a company that says they specialize in moving exercise equipment! - for a quote. Mighty Movers was the ONLY company that said yes and they gave me a fixed price quotes that I think was an absolute bargain. Their guys were exactly on time and able to flex when we had a slight unexpected hiccup. They moved the equipment efficiently and caused zero damage to either the equipment or my walls and floors. They were considerate, pleasant and friendly. I could not possibly be any happier with Mighty Movers' performance and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of service! read more

This is a very straight forward and upright business. They answered my phone call promptly, Politely listened to my needs, Offered me a VERY competitive quote, and most importantly DELIVERED. They were helpful, accommodating, and careful. From the front office, to the movers on the day (Luis and Carlos), this was a smooth process. There were no hidden fees and the costs were exactly as we expected. No surprises. If I was moving again (which I hope to never do again lol) I would rehire this company. read more

Cliff and his men did an excellent job on our small move today. They showed up exactly when they told us they would, got our move done quickly and efficiently, and with no complications; for half the price of some other quotes, besides. I used Mighty Movers to move into my first owned home and it was a huge mistake! We discussed potentially having them pack ahead of time, but I decided to pack myself. I was told that they'd have materials on the truck just in case I needed their services. On the day of the move, I was behind on packing and willing to pay Mighty Movers to finish the job, but they didn't bring any boxes, forcing me to continue packing while the movers worked. While the 3 guys seemed like they were working pretty hard, they were constantly asking me what was going to stay and what was going to go. After some time, I heard one of the guys say to the other that this was their last elevator load and then they would go to the new place. Little did I know that they left a bunch of stuff in the closet including items I asked them to take and saw them put on their dolly. When we arrive at the house, they got to unpacking and caused some minor damage. I was unaware of the stuff they hid/left behind at the old place. As they left, I tipped generously, thinking the move had gone well when it hadn't. When I called to address my grievances, the owner basically asked why I didn't supervise the movers appropriately. If the movers needed a supervisor, then Mighty Movers should have sent one, as other companies I've moved with have done in the past. I paid Mighty Movers to move me and they failed the most basic condition: take all the stuff with you. Mighty Movers refused to take responsibility for their movers behavior. When I asked them to fix the damage, they insisted that they could send their own contractor or give me $50. I had to press them to tell me who their contractor was before they sent a person I didn't know to my home. When I tried to check references, I discovered their contractor had no online presence at all, just a Virginia business license. When I asked them to use a contractor I chose, they insisted it was their guy or $50. I took the $50 and ended up spending $150 to repair the damage. As a result of Mighty Movers leaving stuff in my old place, I had to finish the move myself, including renting a uHAUL panel van. Mighty Movers refused to cover any of my additional moving costs incurred. I hired Mighty Movers, paying $185/hr plus fees, thinking I was paying for quality. I was wrong. Our move with Simon, Yester, and Luis far exceeded our expectations. This was our first experience hiring professional movers and we'll never go back! They were incredibly efficient and took such care with our things -- every piece of furniture was wrapped in blankets and taped. I was sure something would inevitably be damaged in the process, especially since we were moving out of a place with several flights of narrow stairs to get to our first floor, but every single thing arrived in perfect condition, and they were finished far earlier than we had estimated. We are so grateful to our team for getting us started on such a great note in our new home! read more

I got my stuff from truck to apartment but not without issues. 1. 40 min late. 2. Arrived at wrong entrance requiring them to back up and turn around and park. This took 10 min.
