My brother recommend this movers. I call them 2 guys came Max with another. They were working very slow. Other guy went to bathroom and watching youtube in there. Me and my son also working with them and i put stuff in my truck and did 5 to 7 trips in my truck still they took 8 hours to complete my 3 bedroom town house and i was moving just 10 houses down not too far. They were working super slow like on purpose to make hours and money. I will definitely not recommend these to anyone. ZMax is "Z BEST" Best movers I've ever had. Hands down. Since coming to Rockville, I've had to move multiple times. While the other movers were all decent, none compared to this company. I was nervous at first since all my previous moves were only a mile or 2 away, but this one was all the way to Ohio, and I had read a lot of horror stories about OTHER long distance moving companies doing a bad job. But my worries quickly disappeared after talking and experiencing the move with this company. Communication was always good. They arrived on time. Moved quickly and efficiently. Got my stuff to where it needed to go safely and securely. Price was also reasonable as well. As a bonus, they're also honest. I am active duty military, meaning, I move ALL the time. This is not the first time that I paid for movers on my own. However, this is the first time I was taken advantage of. If you are, or appear to be, a single woman that has some money to spend, be expected to be taken advantage of. The 2 movers walked so slowly during my move. I had the AC on 68, offered waters (that they took) on multiple occasions, yet they still decided to leave mid job to go do someone else's move. Only to say they would be began at 7 pm (cause me to drive 24 miles in traffic to meet them there FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! *******DO NOT BOOK********* I have packed and stacked multiple boxes on my own, all they had to do was move the stuff. To my surprise they are the only people that choose not to use a dolly on stairs that go straight up and down, all they were doing was going DOWN!!!! And going down slowly!! ****** I DO NOT RECOMMEND***** UPDATE AFTER REPLY: The movers broke my furniture, PLAIN and SIMPLE! Using a dolly to load 2-3 boxes on was not a safety concern when deciding to take boxes one by one. Being as high as the fourth floor, does NOT matter when still moving a 2 bedroom, I informed them ahead of time. I can post pictures of the screenshots and I told them beforehand as well. When they got there they also told me the extra price for the stairs and I said okay. Being that it was just me and a minor, I let them do what they were gonna do to move, I should have been watching them! They didn't remove the legs. I DID!!!!!!! They broke them, when they set up the dresser in my room and I realized it was broke I took it as a loss and unscrewed them off, topped the dresser over to take pictures ! They knew they broke my stuff which is why they gave me a measles 10% off but think I'm dumb. 10% offf is for giving cash, I paid with cash app. The same day, they told me they were gonna come at 7, 7 came and they were not there. I called them! And can provide phone records, they said they won't be there till 9! I said okay, but at that point, I was done with them!!! read more

Hired ZMax movers in 04/2022 to help move a two bedroom apartment w/ office into a single family home about 15 min away. I communicated with what I assume was the owner over the phone and email, and he was very quick to reply to any questions. I thought their partial packing option was great, since I usually like to pack most, but not all, of the stuff myself. On moving day, the movers were very professional and efficient. Three of them came with an 18ft truck, which left a few items that we had to move later. Not a big deal to me, but I'm not sure if they have larger trucks. As for the moving itself, they were very careful with our property, particularly when moving things into the new home. They used floor runners to move all the stuff into a couple rooms by the front door. After they got everything in, they even gave me the courtesy of taking their shoes off when moving the heavier furniture into the other rooms in the house. Honestly, it seemed like it was their house with how careful they were moving the heavy items around the new home! Whole move took about 8 hours, probably because the two bedroom apartment was located very far (at least 300 feet) from a service elevator. All in all, great experience with the company. They showed up with masks, as safety is number one priority now. They were quick on their feet and got everything done in a timely manner. They even offered to fix up our mattresses and crib. The whole move was professionally executed. We had booked a bigger truck with three movers. The team communicated well and was timely. The team worked very hard the entire time and carried heavy furniture and boxes for 8 hours! They were honest and communicated throughout the move. Moving tips that I learned from this experience: 1) Be realistic about how much "stuff" you have and overestimate the amount, so the right truck and team are matched. I underestimated how much stuff I had and it required extra time to load the truck. If you have too much stuff, it's best to take multiple trips, than to overly stuff the truck--takes time and is difficult on the furniture. 2) Walk through the house with your mover and clearly communicate which furniture is fragile or important, so it is wrapped, has pads, and is loaded in the truck with extra care. 3) Mark the boxes clearly. I used round color coded stickers from amazon to label each box-- labeling where it would go. When I unloaded, I moved all boxes to the wall of the room and set the furniture in place. I then unpacked the content of the boxes to there new location. read more

These guys were fantastic! Cannot recommend them enough. I hired them for a one-bedroom local move. Communication was excellent - I mostly communicated over text and Max was always prompt in responding. They arrived promptly (even 20 min early when I sent a text letting them know I was ready to go sooner) and moved very efficiently, but also very thoughtfully. In my new place, Max was even careful about holding the front door open by tying it to another door rather than putting tape on the walls. The value was also amazing. No nickel and diming, much easier to understand pricing than anyone else (my head was spinning with the different travel fees, mileage etc from other moving companies) Don't hesitate, if I had another move, I would 100% use them again and not even bother getting quotes from other movers. read more
