I've used A-Anytime movers twice. I was the second move of the day and they showed up right on time and got to work. None of my items broke in transit, and all furniture and fragile items were wrapped before loading into the truck. Did I mention they're quick? My one bedroom move (within DC) only took 3 hours. Best price for a move I've found so far. Would definitely recommend them for your next move. read more

This is my second time using Anytime Movers. They were the most reasonably priced movers that I could find. They showed up on time, brought all their own packaging equipment which is huge, and were efficient in the move. I was charged a bit more than I was expecting from the quote, so that is why it's only 4 stars. But comparatively, it is much cheaper than a majority of the other movers in the DMV. My couch wouldn't fit up the stairs to my place and they were willing to hold the couch at their warehouse until I figured out what to do with it, which I very much appreciate. I didn't need it in the end but it was great that they offered. read more

Barry and Lawrence arrived on time and were very friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient throughout the entire process. They handled our belongings with great care and even helped us wrap several bulky, difficult-to-pack items. They loaded our POD, making the most of the available space and ensuring our things arrive safely. The pricing was also very reasonable and itemized at the end for you to review. The many positive reviews were a big reason we chose this company, and we are so happy we did. We wanted to add our own positive experience and pay it forward for anyone trying to decide. We highly recommend A-Anytime Movers! read more

This was the fourth time we have used Anytime Movers for a move in/out of our home. Everytime they are very communicative, prompt, and deliver excellent service. I am.always impressed with their professionalism and diligence to move everything with care. Our latest move we had Troy and Rinny and they were great. It was a very tricky move that involved moving heavy stuff up terrible attic steps and the ceiling is about five feet high... They did an amazing job and we had a good time talking in between items being moved. I highly recommend this company! read more

Coordinating a move in DC from out of state could have been challenging and frustrating ....but not with A Anytime Movers..A request for a quote arrived quickly, as was all communication wiith Ruby. She answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. On the day of the move, the men arrived on time, and expertly moved all our items with care. They were friendly, professional, and not a minute was wasted. The quote we received was far below any others we received. The entire experience was outstanding. Highly, highly recommend A Anytime Movers. The entire experience was outstanding. Highly, highly recommend A Anytime Movers..Well done! read more

High quality service. Quick response. Quick load /unload and took care of walls when moving in large items up narrow stairs. Hourly price but they worked the entire time. Will use again for next move. read more

I've used A- Anytime Movers three times now -- in 2021, 2022, and again in 2025 -- and every single time has been a flawless experience. They're consistently punctual, professional, and careful with every single item. Not once has anything arrived damaged or scratched. My furniture and electronics are always properly wrapped and handled with care, and the team is incredibly respectful and friendly throughout the entire process. Moving is always stressful, but this company makes it so much easier. read more

Excellent moving experience from start to finish. Everything was wrapped carefully and the move went smoothly. Huge thanks to Lawrence and Freddy for their hard work. I also thought they were funny lol. Communication was great throughout, and I would definitely use this company again, I have already recommended them! read more

Avoid at All Costs I truly don't understand how this company has accumulated such stellar reviews, because my experience was nothing short of appalling. Moving is stressful enough without having to chase down your own belongings, argue over basic accountability, and discover damage at nearly every turn. Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened with A-Anytime Movers. Two weeks after my move, I had to reach out to Chris, the owner, to ask if perhaps they had misplaced a box from my office. His response? He texted me a photo of my sealed box - sitting untouched in their warehouse the entire time - and asked, "Do you want me to open it to see if it's yours?" As if the alternative was to simply leave it there indefinitely while its rightful owner wondered where it went. It was, of course, my missing box. But the problems didn't end there. They also lost my Dyson vacuum, chipped nearly one of every piece of dishware and glassware I own, and left my couch visibly damaged. When you entrust "professionals" with your home and possessions, you expect at the very least that your belongings will arrive somewhat intact and accounted for. That was not the case here. I know stuff happens and things get broken, but I've moved probably 30 times and this was...so so bad. I go out of my way to support local businesses, but this was a huge - and very costly - mistake. Moving is hard enough without adding gross negligence, cavalier customer service, and a lack of care for clients' property into the equation. Do yourself a favor: never use A-Anytime Movers. read more

Another seamless move with Anytime Movers! Barry and Dominic unpacked the POD Troy and Walt from Anytime packed two years prior (Nov 2023) and did it with speed, efficiency and professionalism. They were courteous, always asking where I'd like my furniture and boxes placed. They unpacked my 8ft POD in under 2 hours and had time to put my bed together for me. I highly recommend Anytime Movers for your moves in the DC Metro area. read more

Such an easy and efficient experience using Anytime Movers! We used them for two pick up spots and our movers (Lawrence, Freddy, and Dave) were incredible. They took apart and reassembled a bed frame with ease, and got everything over with no damage. Their pricing is fair and on par with other local moving companies. Moving is one of the most stressful things but Anytime made it easy and quick! Cannot recommend them enough, thank you! read more

Freddy, Lawrence, Dave and Damian helped me move this weekend and were great. They arrived right on time, moved a ton of heavy cumbersome items including a peloton, were very careful with everything, and effective at moving things around tight corners. would hire them again! read more

Service response was quick, movers were experienced and made the task painless and easy. I'd like to personally thank Dominic and Barry for their expertise and helpfulness. Thanks so much. read more

We had a great experience with Anytime and cannot recommend them more highly! Maurice, Drokil, and Ricardo arrived on time, were incredibly efficient, and were super great to work with. They managed all obstacles seamlessly, from parking in a narrow alley to lugging everything up a flight of stairs. Two small lamps were left on the truck, but Christopher promptly delivered them to us less than 24 hours later. When one small item got damaged, they quickly ordered us a replacement. We could not be more happy with our experience, especially for their reasonable prices. We will happily use them again in the future. read more

I had a great experience using A-Anytime Movers to move across DC. Dominic and Barry were efficient with their time, careful with my belongings, courteous, and communicative throughout the process. I could not have asked for a better team. I have used a few moving companies in the DMV and this was easily the best combination of affordability and quality. The day went so smoothly and I will definitely be using A-Anytime Movers again in the future. read more

Update. I used them again for another move. Also used them to remove some junk items. Shaka and Calvin were punctual, friendly and efficient. They got my studio apartment moved and organized in my Uhaul very fast. Took the initiative to ask which items were sensitive. Had a soft touch with moving such heavy items. Highly recommended...again...for anyone needing help with a move. read more

On time and efficient. They work to get job done quickly too which I appreciate. Been using them for 7+ years now.

The entire team was professional, experienced and very friendly. We have oversized and very heavy furniture, and they handled it all with care. Also, obstacles like a very long hallway, stairs and elevator were no issue. Affordable pricing and easy process. read more

Dominic and Barry were awesome. They worked incredibly hard, were efficient, flexible, and friendly. I for a number of quotes from movers in the area and Anytime was by far less expensive than the other options. When it came time for payment, Dominic added everything up on his calculator in front of me which I appreciated. Can't say enough good things about Dominic and Barry. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

Would 100% recommend them! They were really responsive with any additional questions I have on my quote and move which alleviated a lot of my stress. Their prices are also very reasonable which is a huge plus. I had Reece, Freddy, and Dominic helping me with my packing and my move. They were really easy to communicate with and made the move really easy. Service was prompt and professional. Would definitely use them again! read more

They provided great service for my move. They were the most straightforward moving company as far as pricing. There were no surprises there. With just two movers, a lot was completed in a short amount of time. A wheel on my desk chair broke and they replaced it quickly! I would certainly book again. read more

Chris at A-Anytime definitely knows customer service. After my review, I was promptly contacted by the company and shortly after had a long talk with the owner, Chris. He was very apologetic and I could tell that he was sincere. He expressed extreme disappointment in the way that my move was handled and more than made up for my experience, even 2+ years later. It helped that they still had records of my move still. Because of the way this situation was handled and because I could tell that Chris was really sincere and remorseful, I decided to use them again for my most recent move. The movers this time around were night and day from the previous movers and they were actually very nice. One of them arrived a little late but that was acknowledged by Chris so I won't hold that against them. More importantly, all three movers were very fast and efficient. I was shocked at how quickly they moved, especially with there only being two in the beginning. There was some small damage to one item and that item was promptly replaced. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my move this time around and would absolutely recommend these guys, even though I forgot their names. Normally I wouldn't make a huge jump from 1-star to 5-stars but I'm really impressed with the way Chris addressed my concerns and the way these most recent movers handled my move. I'd definitely use them again now. read more

Update: anytime movers called me, apologized for how slow my move was, and adjusted my bill significantly. This makes me feel as though the slow move was not a money grab, but was just their team having an off day. They also noted that my move was actually scheduled to begin at 9:30 (I guess I put it in my calendar wrong) -- so the movers were only 10 min late which is totally acceptable. However, I'm still only giving four stars, because no matter the price, no one wants a move to go on any longer than it has to, and my move was painfully slow. Furthermore, it's literally never acceptable for a mover to comment on his client's appearance out of the blue. Still, I'd be willing to give the company another shot in the hopes that I just had them on an off day. read more

I have used this moving company three times and received professional and courteous service every single time. The pricing is very reasonable and the customer service is fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Five star moving experience and Anytime Movers earned every star. Anytime Movers came in with the best pricing structure and has a perfect 5 star rating on Yelp, so I decided to go with them. Daphney was incredibly responsive even on a Saturday as I worked with her to set up a time for our move. Marcel, Walt and Frank arrived super punctually at 9:20 for a 9:30 AM scheduled move and were incredibly efficient, courteous, friendly, and professional. Our entire 2 BR move took about 4 to 4.5 hours. I will not hesitate to call Anytime Movers again for our next move! read more

*Updating this review. Management promptly reached out and apologized for the issues below. They comp'd the move and connected me with a repair specialist. They have excellent customer service.* I've used Anytime Movers twice. First time was awesome. The second time was not great. The most recent time was moving from a studio to a one bedroom a couple hundred feet on the same floor in the same building. I moved everything myself except five pieces of wood furniture that I didn't want damaged. And I took apart and plastic wrapped the large bedframe/credenza. First issue-I booked an 930am slot and they arrived 45 minutes late for a move that lasted less than 30 minutes. I can overlook this. Second issue that bothers me- they put the wood bed frame on top of the wood credenza on the dolly. Wood on wood didn't damage anything. But then they proceeded to rest the steel bed frame slats on top of the walnut bed frame. Metal on wood = dents. It would have taken 2 minutes to move the slats separately. During my first move with them from a three story walkup there was zero damage. But this time because it was expedient and easy there was damage. I don't mind spending money on a quick move but the whole point was not to mar a $2,100 Room & Board bed frame. read more

I was glad that a friend recommended Anytime Movers. Though they arrived later than expected due to traffic, Reece and Drokil know what they were doing. They were swift but also careful. If not for the issue with the service elevator, they could have finished the move in less than 3 hours. Booking was also a breeze and the price was very reasonable compared to other providers. Highly recommend. read more

A-Anytime movers made my move the least stressful move I have ever done in DC. They showed up early in the moving window they provided and even though it was pride weekend in DC and half the roads were closed off they were able to get from Point a to Point B to Point C fairly quickly. There was one casualty in the move and I had a broken suitcase, but they were very professional and reimbursed me for the cost of the suitcase, so I was able to replace my suitcase quickly. Thanks for my wonderful team (Maurice and his crew). read more

We moved in early July and it was the second time we've used Anytime Movers. Our first move with them was just ok, but this time, Dominic and his team were outstanding loading our truck. They did arrive a bit late and we were moving a four-hour drive away, so we told them we had to be on the road in two hours max. We lived in a one-bedroom in a building with only one working elevator that we couldn't reserve for the move, and we're worried because the cross-city move we did a couple of years ago took around 4 hours. Dominic said he didn't think the time constraint would be a problem, and they got to work right away. An hour and 15 minutes later, our truck was loaded and ready to go. Not only we're they efficient, careful with our belongings, and friendly, they offered to wrap the couple of pieces of furniture that we had missed when prepping. My partner and I keep talking about how they made a part of our move that could have been really stressful one of the best and easiest parts of our move. If you schedule your move with Anytime, I highly recommend asking for Dominic! read more

This company is 5 stars. We've used them for our last 3 moves. The care, efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism they bring to each job is unmatched. They really do care about making your move as stress free as possible. If you're moving in the DMV, go with this team. read more

I was really happy with my moving experience here. They sent three movers for my 1BR apartment and they worked pretty quickly. I was happy with the speed of things, and wasn't charged for the time they stopped to grab lunch, etc. My move cost about $550 excluding tip. One corner of a small nightstand got damaged in the move. I sent a picture to Anytime and they arranged for it to be repaired at a local woodshop (including pickup and drop-off of the item). The nightstand looks just as it did before. They are not perfect - but when they make a mistake they work extra hard to rectify it, which is all I can ask for. Really pleased with the customer service here. read more

Chris, the owner is incredibly kind and honest and completely won back my trust. I hope if you use Anytime movers, you have a smooth experience from the start, but you can rest assured if anything does not go 100% perfectly, Chris will make it right. He came by himself after my move, to fix my bed and make sure it was built correctly. He was very thoughtful and thorough and apologetic that it wasn't built correctly the first time. Incredibly responsible and honest business ownership. read more

I've used anytime movers twice and recommended them to countless friends. They are reasonably priced, on time, and do an impeccable job.

I've used A-Anytime movers twice now and they truly are the best. Having moved several times throughout my life this is the first moving company I have ever encountered that is no nonsense, efficient, friendly, and reasonably priced. Ask for Troy and Walt, you'll get great service and probably a few laughs too. Thanks for making what is usually a very stressful process quite a bit better guys! read more

Had a great experience moving personal property from our house to a storage facility in connection with our move. Was easy to coordinate and the company was very responsive meeting our short timelines. The movers were exceptional. Troy and Walt from Anytime Movers called us to let us know their arrival time and they treated our furniture and other personal items with great care. They took the time to wrap items that needed more support and helped us move other items in the house as we had to rearrange other things to support the move. They were very friendly and polite and we enjoyed the engagement despite the stress of moving. Well done Troy and Walt; would highly recommend them for anyone needing a positive moving experience. The costs were reasonable also. read more
