I did a move from Ashburn to Arlington for a 2 bedroom. Everything went very smoothly. They were careful with all of my furniture. Nothing was damaged or went missing during the move. I had labels on the boxes where everything should go and they placed all of the boxes accordingly. The communication was great the whole time. Joseph answered all of my questions before the move. Carlos, Eddie, and Armando all handled any on the fly asks I had. including putting the furniture in just how I wanted it. I'm writing to review a little late since we've been getting settled into our new home in Chicago, but it's been on my todo list because Joseph and his crew were amazing! We found out pretty last minute that we were going to be moving to Chicago. On top of all the added stress was finding a moving company we could trust. We received a quote for $3400 from another moving company for a full cross-state move. This was way out of our budget give. That we were leaving most of the furniture behind. Instead, we opted to do the good ol' Uhaul way. We needed movers to come help load the truck Friday night since we'd be leaving Saturday morning. I looked into company after company with some concerning reviews about efficiency, speed, and care. Made Movers was the one company that stood out with consistently good reviews, and for good reason! Joseph was super quick to get back to my request for a quote. He gave us a very reasonable hourly price, and was able to accommodate our Friday evening time frame. Joseph was also very responsive on follow-up emails, which I appreciated. On the day of the move Joseph called to let us know they were running 15-20 minutes late. It wasn't a huge amount of time, so I appreciated the heads up. Joseph and his crew arrived and got right to work. Most of our stuff was boxed already, but the furniture needed wrapping. The crew carefully wrapped our furniture with the furniture blankets we picked up from Uhaul. The entire time they worked very efficiently and quickly. Once the work was done, in under 2 hours, there were no hidden costs, nothing in our apartment was scratched or broken (horror stories I read about other companies) and the Uhaul looked ready to go. When we finally got to Chicago we were happy to find not a single piece of furniture was broken or dented, and the movers here were quickly able to unload the truck due to how well it was packed in the first place. Joseph and his crew were awesome. They at least made this part of the move incredibly easy, and for that we are thankful. Will 100% recommend them to others in the DMV area in the future! read more

The team just went right to work, no complaints. Everything was wrapped before being placed into the truck. Each piece arrived without damage. They even re-assembled everything they took apart. Made Movers are amazing! They were courteous, prompt, professional, and hardworking- especially the owner Joseph! I can't say enough to recommend them. Our move in date was pushed up significantly and the movers we used in the past weren't able to accommodate our new time frame. However they recommended Made Movers and luckily we were able to secure them quickly. Our move took much longer than expected- from estimated 5 hrs to actually 8, but that wasn't their fault. We had tons of stuff, some heavy pieces, and a fourth floor walk up!! Never once did they complain (at least not where we could hear lol!)! Unfortunately our daughter's prized art table was broken during the move but Made Movers (and Joseph) went above and beyond to remedy the problem. It was a 'cheapish' table bought at Michaels but of course, our daughter loved it ( she bought it with her own money & used it almost everyday!). Rather than just brush it off or simply offer a small discount to suffice, Joseph and his crew, AFTER WORKING 8 hrs of heavy lifting up 4 flights of stairs, drove all the way to Herndon to find the exact table & then came back and built it for her!!!! As far as she's concerned, they are Rock Stars and I guess to us too! We highly recommend them for your big (like ours) or small move!!! We started off a little rough due to them entering the apartment before I was present, however, after that the movers were very efficient and effective in there work with moving all of my items into the apartment. These guys are seriously miracle workers. We had a previous moving company charge us $2000 just to get our couch up over our back balcony and into a back bedroom. These guys did it on their own, under an hour, with no additional charge or equipment. Also, they managed to get our ENORMOUS solid dresser down our tiny tiny row house stairs without a single scratch. And their prices are crazy reasonable. When they were moving the stuff into our new house they accidentally broke our doorbell off. We later wrote them to ask them to replace it and they agreed right away. Our security company ended up replacing it for free so we didn't end up needing them to reimburse us, but we were extremely impressed with the customer service. Can not say enough about MadeMovers who did our move this morning! (Yes this morning) and I have time to write this glowing review because they were so efficient with our move that I got to my next destination early. For the details: my bf and I were moving out of our 1bd in Arlington to another apartment in Philadelphia. Our decision to move was recent and we didn't have time to hire a full service move. We decided it would be cheaper and easier to rent our own truck and hire help to load/unload. Joseph was wonderful at communicating before the move and he ended up offering one of the better quotes out of the many companies I reached out to. Himself and Salvador showed up almost 1/2 early (8:30am) and were ready to work. They were Tetris masterminds and fit much more than I expected into our truck. Another morning move had been canceled so Jospeh had two other helpers head over just to speed everything up as he new we were eager to get on the road. Our truck was packed by 10:00 so they helped take some furniture we were getting rid of to the dumpster. Overall, Joseph's crew was amazing and I can not thank them enough. Joseph and his team showed up on time and for covid purposes fully masked and frequently sanitizing. I had a move within the same building and they were super organized and obviously had a lot of logistical sense which helped make the move very quick and efficient. The team was super friendly and professional. My move was today and on Friday the original movers I spoke to bailed on me. Joseph responded quickly after hours, sent me the estimate electronically and made the whole process easy which definitely helped reduce any stress related to the move. They day of, they promised they were coming on time, then an hour late and then 3 hours late. Eventually they stopped returning my calls and simply did not show up. Unbelievable! I was moving out and my place was rented with a new person moving in the next morning. They never showed up and left me in a complete lurch. I've been using Joe and his team for more than two years now - for ever local move in the DMV area. They are professional, punctual, and will go above and beyond to assist in every way possible while doing what they can to save you fees. Most other experiences I've had with moving companies have been awful, where they will charge you for materials or have extra fees for stairs, etc. but Joe and Made Movers have 0 hidden fees. In addition, I live alone and I always call Joe for help with moving new furniture purchases upstairs, etc. when I'm in a pinch, and he will do what he can to accommodate and help despite his busy schedule. From my first conversation with Joseph Espanoza till the last box was dropped off and the loose papers picked up, everything, and I mean absolutely everything, was handled promptly, professionally and courteously. My crew were all very professional in the execution of their duties. Everyone on the crew (Carlos, Travis, and Fernando) were courteous and friendly. Constantly checking and verifying that things were handles to my satisfaction. They were quick and efficient in packing up my home. Everything they touched they treated it as if it were their own. They understood that my belongings were important to me and accordingly gave them and me proper respect. I'm guessing I spoke to Joseph the owner who said he could accommodate me and gave me the quote. I think there is sometimes a 3 hour minimum, but because I called ahead he was willing to waive that to two. I had two guys for two hours for an easy within Arlington move. Joseph called before they showed up and then he took a look at the furniture to inspect for any damage pre-move. The two guys quickly and efficiently wrapped everything up and put it on the truck. I hired Made Movers to help me with my move from VA to GA. I called them somewhat last minute - one week out - and they were willing and happy to help me out! They gave me a reasonable quote compared to other companies I looked at. They were so efficient and easy to work with! They showed up on time at both ends of the trip and the guys were super nice and trustworthy. It took them about 3.5 hours to load up and less than 3 hours to unload. Great experience with these guys. I'll definitely use them again. I only needed help unloading two PODS that were shipped from Texas. Two guys came for the move, and we had them empty in two hours. They got some heavy furniture where it needed to go easily despite some tight angles and narrow staircases. It was easy to get a date booked, and they emailed and called to confirm.
