I normally don't like to be a Debbie downer. Right now I am giving 3 stars because of how delayed my original appointment was. I called about a month early to schedule. The day of I get two phone calls but was at work so I couldn't pick up. They never left me a voicemail. Turns out they wanted to call because the movers were ready but since I didn't pick up in time they sent the movers to do another job in the meantime. Since this happened that job made my original appointment delayed by 2 almost 3 hours. One of the male workers called me and asked if we could delay so he didn't have to rush his other workers to get the previous job done. I was fine with this because the man was really nice and thankful that I was flexible. Luckily I took the day off on a Friday so I had free time but this may not be the case for everyone. Then I get a text that says they'd be there in 15 min but of course it took more of an hour since they went back to the warehouse to pick up some stuff. I called again and that's what they told me. I wish they would be more communicative with their updates on what's going on! Not having the customer reach out constantly. I also have to reserve our freight elevator and they only allow 3 hr reservations at my apartments and thank god nobody was moving out/in that day since I wouldv Luckily the movers themselves were great! So happy that we went with Mighty Movers for our local move. The movers were hard working, efficient, and thorough. Communication with the managers before and after the move was great and they were very responsive. A piece of heavy furniture put a small dent in our home's wall and they were quick to send a contractor over who patched it up and painted it at no extra cost. The owner is a thief who tricks people by providing them the quote with very attractive price however when his movers' job is done, he charges the fortune. He then offers small discount for writing a good review on his, so do not trust positive reviews. I absolutely do not recommend this service to anyone! The movers themselves were awesome - very accommodating, efficient, and pleasant to work with. When we called to get a quote and schedule our service, Cliff (the owner? manager? who is to say) told us that it would be a rate of $100/hour for labor only. We made it clear that we only needed an hour of work. In the confirmation email that we were given the morning of our move and had to sign, the top of the email restated that rate and implied that the total fee for services would be $100. At the very bottom was a small clause stipulating a 3-hour ($300) minimum that no one mentioned explicitly in our multiple conversations. Cliff and his office staff were then totally unprofessional about our complaint that we were led to believe we would be paying $100 and then were charged $300. Truly fraudulent practice. A shame that such wonderful on-site staff are backed up by atrocious scammer management. read more

Okay, WHAT?!?! These guys are AMAAAAHZINNNG!! OMGEEEE!!! Not only did they rescue us at the very last minute from other movers who flaked on us, but they showed up, got to work faster than I thought possible, and were like ANTS, carrying 2000x their weight!! The photo I'm attaching is of an armoire that is over 7 ft tall and weighs a GAZILLION pounds!! (It is made out of old farm wood and was over $2,200.) And they were SO careful!! I am absolutely SICK that we didn't hire them for our big move yesterday... UGH!!! If we ever move again, (please God, forbid), we will not think twice about hiring Mighty Movers. These guys are... I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NEGITIVE 1000 STARS!!!!!!!! I purchased a refrigerator at costco. It was an open box so I had to call appliance moving company. After I call I gave the Costco address where the refrigerator is, and they went to my house instead coming to Costco. I waited half hour, they picked and they delivered to my house. They told me it is little tight to get in and told me to remove door and stair handle. I remove door and stair handle, and they messured and said ok to take it in. They lifted up and pushed in to the door I heard scratching, and I told them to take the refrigerator doors out. They unscrewed and they can not take the front of refrigerator door because water line. They spent almost 1 hour to figure out to put doors back(watched Youtube and I figured out in 5 mins) After my front door's side got damaged and $4000 refrigerator got dent and scratches I told them I can not pay you unless you pay my damaged. As soon as I said they took my refrigerator put it in thier truck and locked it. (I called cops and they call cops, but police told me just pay and claim their company) I ended up paying them $300 dollars leave my refrigerator inside my garaged. I recently used their services for a local move. The movers came in 30 minutes late, but were very hard working and thorough in taking care of items and wrapping them in sheets etc. They worked tirelessly for 6 Hrs. Why am I giving them 2 Stars ? I question this Business' work ethics. They don't explain the pricing structure in advance, the movers took close to an Hr of Lunch break and the employee had the audacity to argue with me that it was 20 minutes, so they charged me for 1 Hr of lunch break (250$). After much argument, they agreed to refund this amount back but never did !!! On top of this craziness, they argued that the time I was spending arguing about this was also considered billable !!! The movers moved very slowly since they were being charged by the hour. I had only a few pieces of furniture to move and it took them 4 hours. 1 of hour of that was driving 6 miles and then 30 minutes of that was them sitting in their truck. They also charged almost $100 additional for the tape and plastic wrap they used. I would not recommend this company. read more

We hired Mighty Movers to move a single item, a heavy couch, from the main floor to our finished basement. It was a rainy day and they decided the best approach was to take it outside and down our outside straight stairway and in, rather than down our curved interior stairway. Before they took it outside, they carefully wrapped it in plastic, shifting it to all 4 sides in the process so as to have it completely covered with multiple plastic layers. The 2 men carried it outside without it ever touching the ground, and also having set a large piece of cardboard to have a soft and clean landing when they momentarily set it upright at the bottom of the exterior stairwell. The took it in, removed all the plastic and wrapping, and assembled the various pieces such as sliding the 3 back pieces onto their holders. They did a perfectly marvelous job and did not leave until we were completely satisfied. They were also less expensive then the several other places we called. I used mighty movers to move from la vista rd Tucker ,Ga to Miners creek rd, Lithonia ,Ga which is 18 miles. The movers were great, it didnt take to long to get the truck loaded , which was a u haul truck , not a company 's truck. I was promise a 15% discount and the total amount to be charge was from $500.to $600.00 .For the 18 mile trip i was charge $870.00 with no discount. I was very disappointed for the charge amount. I am a senior on a fixed income ,that was over charged. Please watch out for ths company. read more

I used Mighty Movers for the second time and it was just as good as the first. We were moving on the same day as the closing on our house so while we were signing the papers the movers packed up everything and even disassembled a TV mount and 2 large wardrobe closets which I had not had the chance to do. They were done by the time we got home and they proceeded to pick up everything else from a storage unit before moving it all into the new place. Everything was wrapped carefully and arrived in the same condition. They went the extra mile to move a few pieces of furniture to different locations in the house so we could decide where it should go. The price was incredibly affordable, the movers were extremely friendly and hard-working. I cannot recommend them enough and will use them for any moving in the future. read more

Terrible moving company. No inventory taken. Lost items, including an almost new vacuum cleaner. When reported, they just said it must have been left behind. No apology, no replacement refund for it or other lost items. No response from customer service. They never called back. Very, very unprofessional and not a good ethical company. I write this review hoping to help someone from making a costly mistake. The kind of operation being conducted is very unprofessional and I would not trust unprofessional people to move my precious items. 1. They quoted me two different prices within a matter of 30 minutes. I inquired why the price increase and was told because I did not give them enough time for the regular price. I asked how much lead time do you need and he said maybe a day or two. I said why does it matter how much lead time if you have availability. That did not make sense to me. If you're a business and you have two men available to move at the time the client wants your going to charge me extra just because. 2. I decided to continue with the reservation because it was after 5 pm. I paid my reservation fee but they stated they did not receive the payment because of an incorrect zip code. I checked my bank account and the money was deducted. I sent him a screenshot a showing that the money was deducted and asked them what they would like me to do. He stated he never received the payment and anyone can create that image. I was confused...he was implying that I photoshopped their company name deducting money out of my account. So I can reserve a spot and then what...they come to my place move all my stuff and I don't pay them. If someone can pull off that scam I would be thoroughly impressed. I expected him to say do you mind paying with another card until we get it sorted. Since this is not your final amount if it doesn't drop off then we will credit the reservation fee towards your final amount. I didn't expect him of accusing me of photoshopping a payment in less than 15 minutes. 3. Since, I have to move I will have to pay a reservation fee to another company. The money for their fee was already deducted from my account. So guess what, I paid a reservation fee to another company, found out the issue and my bank returned their reservation fee. 4. I would just say that this company is very unprofessional and you should find another moving company with rating so similar or higher but do not waste your time. read more

Was able to make a schedule in relatively short time. Pricing is ok but please mindful if you need to move appliances and if there're tricky steps or stairs involved as your appliances can potentially get damaged. My washer and dryer got dinged on the side as they were going around the steps and they were only using a tiny dolly and not a proper moving strap they showed in the picture. They would push and pull the appliance through the steps, the washer would bounced off from the dolly and slid off. Same thing happened for the dryer. Had they used the strap or bigger dolly, this shouldn't happen in the first place. Overall, they are ok and quick mover. Price is ok and just be careful on the big appliances and ask them first how they plan to move them out. read more

Might movers did a great job for me. They arrived within the time window, they all wore booties to protect our floors, they brought their own blankets, and did a great job of getting everything to the new place safe and sound. They took some furniture apart, others were packed as w hole, but all was reassembled perfectly at the destination. No scratches or damage to any of the furniture, and they finished very quickly (but to be fair, we did empty all furniture prior to the movers' arrival). They also wore masks anytime they were indoors, which I appreciated. read more

These guys are good across the board. I move a lot, about every 2 years, but this move was unexpected and had to happen fairly quick. Mighty Movers got us scheduled right away. NOT trustworthy; NOT reliable; NOT friendly. Yet EXPENSIVE! Didn't do what they promised. Very unprofessional. Strung me along for days, waiting for replies to my texts and phone calls. They arrived 2 hours late and never called. I had to call them to make sure they were still coming. Rudely cut me off when I explained what I wanted them to do. Never acknowledged or apologized for tearing my mattress. It's a damn shame unprofessionals can demand hundreds of your hard earned dollars for poor customer treatment and less than excellent work just because they can provide a necessary service.
