After researching all the different moving companies and getting crazy estimates I chose expert movers. Here's why... All I had to move was one queen size bedroom (mattress and box spring), 2 dressers, bed frame. Leather sectional, 1 medium size box and a TV stand. That was it. I got quotes as crazy as $600!!! Enrique-not only explained his charges in detailed, he was also extremely responsive and very professional! The day of the move I was a bit nervous-but I got a text and call from Enrique that truck was enroute and not 2 but 3 guys showed up promptly at 8:00 am!! It took them less than 45 minutes to disassemble the bed and have everything shrink wrap and in the truck (no extra charges for the shrink wrap!) they were done completely within two hours. I moved from Herndon to Reston. Not far but they were very courteous and professional. I will use them again and highly recommend you save some money and go with the real professionals! I was looking for was help to move several very heavy pieces of furniture from one room in my house to another, which seems reasonable to me. But the quotes I received from other companies were charging me as if I were moving from one house to another! I reached out to Expert Movers after seeing their ad posted to my community's Facebook page, and I am so thankful I did! Enrique's response time was immediate and thorough, I knew exactly what to expect, and his quote was a fraction of the cost of all the other quotes I received. On the day of the furniture move, Expert Movers had two gentlemen on site right on time, and they got immediately to work moving these heavy pieces. They took great care and talked through how to move each piece so that both guys worked seamlessly as a team. We were planning to move on 04/11/19 and I was looking on Craigslist for a reputable company which also wouldn't be too expensive. I called a couple of them and received only one call back. It was Enrique from Expert Movers. He gave me his rates upfront and we made an appointment for Thursday Morning. Enrique confimed our agreement by text msg and kept in touch over the next few days. My husband and I were very worried because we heard horror stories from our friends who hired other companies. Thursday Morning the truck arrived five minutes early. The movers, Tike and Jose assessed the situation and started with protecting my wooden floors. They were moving furniture and stuff fast and with great care. These guys are just fantastic. They kept me informed of their arrival time, and showed up bang on schedule. I was overwhelmed when they arrived, but after I showed them all the stuff, all I had to do was stand aside and watch them do what they are best at. I had a lot of gym equipment including a treadmill and table tennis table and they seamlessly took care of everything. It was a very tough fit to get the treadmill and table tennis table into the new basement, but they maneuvered their way really well, including disassembling and reassembling a couple pieces to make everything fit through well. They are reasonably priced, work fast and are very careful not to damage the floor or any of the fragile items. I would highly recommend them for any move. read more

I called Expert Movers to help me move some large furniture within the house. They were quick to respond, gave a free quote and gave a reminder text the day before. On the day of the move, Alfredo and Charlie came on time and got right to work. They were very careful when moving the furniture and worked quickly and efficiently. I had a huge treadmill that was heavy and couldn't fit in through the door of the room, but they were able to dismantle the whole thing and put it back together, all with such a positive disposition. They were very friendly and kind, and got all the work done within two hours, which I thought was impressive considering the whole treadmill issue. I reached out to multiple companies to help unpack the truck into my new apartment which happened to be on the 4th floor with no elevator. Enrique contacted me asking questions not with the general quick part email response which I appreciated because he listed to what I needed. He didnt try to upsell me or get me something I didnt need. He answered all of my questions quick and efficient. When his team arrived he let me know and they unpacked a truck carrying everything up 4 flights of stairs in 30 minutes. I called Tuesday night and had a crew with a truck in my driveway by Wednesday afternoon. Good team, Alfredo & Mincho (I think), cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The job was to move heavy furniture up and down stairs and cart off 3 couches to the dump. Took them less than an hour, they didn't waste time. Price was fair. They only take cash though, be ready for that. Also the rate is not strictly based on time, it depends what you want done, so be ready to itemize in detail when you call. If you leave things out when you negotiate with Enrique, you might incur extra charges later. Bottom line: Would use again, would recommend to friends. read more

Excellent service and fair price, arrived on time and they are professional movers, all the furniture were very well wrapped and carefully moved. We moved from third floor to a trailer truck for transport to west coast,they carefully stacked all our belongings to the top of the trailer truck, saving us space and money so we didn't have to pay extra for space. This is the third time we hired them, we used them twice last year to move into different apartments and now moving to west coast. I moved from Crystal City to Fairfax and my real estate agent advised me to use Expert Movers. I called "Kiki" and the man was really responsive and sent me all terms by sms immediately. Everything went very smooth. Kiki is really fast!, he came on time, acted quickly and in less than 90 minutes all the furniture of a 2 bedroom apt +kitchen was stack int he truck! added 30 min for the road and 60 minutes unloading.. all in all 4 hours! and with a smile! they did not ask or even mention tip but I did! Honest, hard-working, full-service professionals. They were attentive, careful, and fast! Moved from a 2 bed apartment to a single family home 30 minutes away for a total of 5 hours. Improvements I would like to see are consulting the client for any confusion about complex furniture/disassembly/reassembly and also not scheduling appointments that are close to overlapping (although I do understand the end of the month is very busy).
