I don't write reviews ..... ever. However, in this case I felt that a review was more than…read moredeserving. My 5 star review is only limited by the fact that I am limited to 5 stars ! From my initial telephone contact with Karey and our video walk through with Jon I was very impressed. Likewise, I was very pleased with the initial cost estimate that was provided to us. We did our due diligence and obtained two other estimates, both higher than the one from Prince. In fact, one was twice as high. We were a bit concerned about the great disparity. However, having been impressed with Karey and Jon and reading about the fundamental principles of their business we elected to go with Prince. I cannot say enough about the crew that handled our move. They called ahead of time to advise they were on the way - and on time ! Carlo, the team leader, was polite, responsive to our requests, flexible to add on a few things we needed to move, and his supervision of the other three members of the crew : Omar, Jeff and Mario. The care that the entire crew gave to our furniture, including some large, heavy wood pieces with glass shelves and doors, was extraordinary. The move was handled efficiently, effectively and expeditiously. Nothing was damaged ! The crew was great in moving things around to get them in the correct location. We were very pleased ! I must point out that this move was so well handled from initial contact to the crew departing our new home And it was accomplished UNDER BUDGET !! Kudos to the entire Prince team. We are grateful. They didn't waste any time and communicated every step of the way. Frankly, they made the IMPOSSIBLE very possible. I am amazed at how efficient they are. Moving is a very stressful endeavor a month out just getting things ready and they made it seamless. Quick, efficient and under budget... yes, under my budget. I won't name names of other movers I've used and paid 30% more for less results. I have a 15 monitor work station that I am very hesitant about anyone touching let alone moving, but these guys handled it like a breeze, especially during a rainy day on top of everything else. I don't usually write reviews, but when a company EXCEEDS my expectations, it's a duty to let others KNOW. I would want the same as well, especially with so many moving companies out there and nightmare stories. These guys are LEGIT and DESERVE their reputation as a TOP PLAYER in the moving business. Wondering if they are capable of handling a long distance move? Read on.. I received 4 quotes and felt the most comfortable dealing with Tony @ Dynamic. Some companies want to only do a virtual estimate on your phone and not come in person. He even came out a second time, in person, as I had downsized considerably and wanted to get the estimate updated based on the belongings I had left. They do flat-rate pricing which makes everything a lot easier. Did I mention their prices were also very competitive? A lot of companies see a TV, bed that needs disassembly, etc. and then tack on fees for the boxes, taking apart that particular item, etc. Even for transport up the hill I lived on. The pricing I got was for a 26 ft truck, with another flat price for an additional vehicle. Everything was included otherwise (and I had lots of oddball furniture, multiple TVs, shop tools, etc.). They also do not share your space with other customers. When the move day came, they were really careful wrapping, padding, and getting everything neatly organized into the truck. They had just enough that it overfilled the 26 ft truck. I was worried I would get charged for an additional vehicle, but Rodolfo had the idea of using a trailer attached to the 26ft truck's hitch, and only charged a nominal fee to add that on. Awesome! When we arrived, the crew unloaded in a half day and placed everything where I needed it. There was no delay in arriving--it was literally as fast as they could get there cross-country. If you can believe it, nothing at all was broken or damaged and at this point I'm fully unpacked. They were really accommodating unloading and even got a 300+ lb arcade machine down a basement staircase (not a walkout basement.. and this was a 29.5" wide arcade in a 29.5" wide staircase...), which I was thrilled about since I didn't think it would be possible. Top ratings from me and I would easily trust them to do another move. I've already sent them referrals since the move.

To say that I've had a lot of experience with RG, let me explain that within the span of seven months, I called on them to put some of my possessions in storage while renovations were being made on my house, again when my college graduate moved to a new home, once more when said grad moved back home, another time to have more personal belongings put in storage, and finally to move everything back home. The scheduler, Joanne, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was unfailingly upbeat, polite, and understanding when the renovation projects seemed to drag on endlessly, and her understanding helped keep me focused on the job at hand. I didn't have to worry about my "things" because she instilled confidence in me that they'd be well taken care of -- and they were. The actual movers were also very polite and energetic. The crew chief, Robert, had an expert's eye and good judgment when it came to planning the job, and he also let me know that the company will buy back any wardrobe boxes in good condition (a nice perk). The men had to move a piano in addition to the usual household items plus nearly 200 cartons of books (Bookworms R Us), fine china, and very old, paper-thin, fine crystal. Nothing was damaged. The movers were especially considerate of freshly painted walls and newly installed hardwood flooring. I strongly endorse RG Quality Moving & Storage. We paid a little extra for a guaranteed drop off date and it was perfect. The drop off was on city street -- pod fits in normal parking space so it was no hassle. The drivers were all super friendly and helpful. The pod was dropped off and picked up promptly on both ends, zero stress. Overall 11/10.

So after receiving a few quotes from a handful of businesses, I went with Potomac Moving due to the speed of their response, clarity in communication, pricing and overall warmth and professionalism. In our first phone call to walk though my needs, they were very assuring and accommodating, which is a such a relief in the midst of stress and coordination that comes with planning for a move. They were also always very responsive in the few times that I reached out between the time I paid the deposit and the actual move. A night or two before, I sent at email regarding wardrobe boxes, since I was debating whether or not I should buy and have a few delivered to me. The owner responded quickly, assuring me that wardrobe boxes were tried, true and if I wanted to buy any directly from them that I could. That ended up being a great call, because they were able to properly enforce the boxes so that even the boxes filled with my heaviest coats remained in tact. On the day of the move, the movers were communicative regarding their arrival time. They were also very nice and hard working. I had a few large furniture items that needed to be disassembled and they ended up being quite beasts to tackle. But they worked diligently to break them down. Once it came time to move things to my new place, that was a breeze. One gesture that I thought was just so classy, was the owner called in the middle of the move to check-in on how things were going - I really appreciated that. They snapped a piano leg on the first move and ruined a 2nd on the subsequent move. The piano's finish is also ruined in five or six additional places, requiring a total refinishing. They also broke a mirror and one of two adjustable dumbbells. If you hire them, get the full-on insurance for total replacement value. You are going to need it.

They moved everything from my studio to my new place in under three hours. It was a local move with only about 10 to 15 minutes of driving, but they were still extremely fast and efficient. Nothing was broken, although I did transport the more fragile items myself to be extra careful. The only issue was that they left several long, noticeable scuff marks on the wall in my narrow hallway. That was unfortunate, but it felt fairly minor in the grand scheme of the move. Overall, the movers were professional, efficient, and easy to communicate with. I would still recommend them, but I would suggest keeping an eye on the walls in tighter spaces.

This included everything in all cabinets in a very stocked kitchen and two bathrooms, three King sized beds, three very large mounted TVs along with their mounting, five couches and all screws and wall hangings. I was in utter disbelief when I went to do a final sweep since there was literally nothing for me to sweep. Not to mention the cost for the service was VERY competitive. Moving Company Review: All Awesome Movers Rating: (1/5) I recently hired All Awesome Movers for my move, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite thorough pre-move communication, the actual service was far below expectations. Initial Quote and Communication: When I called for a quote, I was assured of a 32ft truck, an 8-hour move, no charge for travel time, and a total cost of approximately $1300. I asked specific questions about the charges, insurance, packing and wrapping preferences, and labeling for the new house. The representative answered everything clearly, which gave me confidence in their service. Moving Day Issues: On moving day, the problems began immediately. Instead of the promised 32ft truck, a 16ft truck arrived. This truck was obviously too small, leading to the need for a second truck, which still barely fit my belongings. This inefficiency caused significant delays. Professionalism and Handling: The movers were courteous initially, but several issues arose: They requested that I unpack a box to provide them with glasses for water, which was unprofessional and inconvenient. They stained the carpet in my old home. Despite clear evidence that only they had been in the house, they adamantly denied responsibility. They put a dent in the wall of my new home, further damaging my trust in their handling of my belongings. Charges and Final Cost: Contrary to what was promised, I was charged for travel time, and the movers even dropped one worker off at another location en route to my new home, which was unprofessional and time-consuming. The final bill was over $1700, a stark contrast to the $1300 estimate. Additionally, I was charged over $150 in taxes, something I had never encountered in previous moves. Conclusion: While the moving crew initially appeared professional, the numerous issues, including inadequate truck size, additional charges, unprofessional behavior, and property damage, resulted in a highly unsatisfactory experience. Wow, those guys are really awesome I don't think I could have asked for a better moving experience. If you are moving in Virginia, definitely request All Awesome Movers, Sam and his team were awesome! These guys showed up EARLY, surveyed all of the rooms beforehand and moved quickly all day. I have worked with other movers before but All Awesome movers are the best. From the beginning of the move, the sales rep, Sam, I spoke with was professional, knowledgeable, and seemed to truly care about my move. He made himself reachable via phone and email and promptly answered any questions. Not to mention, his estimate was extremely accurate. On moving day, our crew was so prompt and quick while still being super careful with our furniture and boxes. My friends and I moved into a townhouse in VA and the crew never complained about the low ceilings and tight corners on the stairway leading up to our 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms! My wife and I ran into crunch time after receiving an offer on our house with an extremely short closing date. We called several movers but ultimately All Awesome Movers provided the best price but more importantly provided the most flexibility as well. Sam and Sarah are fantastic to work with! The movers arrived promptly at 0600, wrapped all the furniture, and took care moving all of our stuff. The movers were very professional and took care not to damage our property, the house we moved out of, or the house we moved into. We have moved several times and by far and away All Awesome Movers was the easiest to work with! They originally said one truck, but after arriving they said they would need two which normally would be an issue, however, they had a second truck there within an hour! This was the first time experiencing a move without something breaking or being scratched. They were quick, efficient, professional, and you could not ask for a better moving company. read more

Sam and Sarah were great to work with. From the first call to setup an estimate to today when my goods were delivered everything went exactly as they said it would with no surprises. Their phone is answered 24/7 if you can believe that. I actually called to setup my estimate on a Saturday night. They provide a minimum and a maximum on the estimate and my final price landed right in the middle. They packed me on the Friday before Memorial day, loaded the truck on Saturday, drove from Gainesville, VA to Tennessee on Sunday, and delivered my household goods today, Memorial day. No, there was no extra charge for working the weekend or holiday. Everything was done on time and nothing was broken. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company! read more

I was REALLY impressed with this company. A friend of mine was moving to DC and the movers that she had hired to move her stuff in, never showed up. It was Sunday, and no movers in sight or sound for over 2 hours. I told her, "Let me get on Yelp and see what I can do." Her expression was like "Yeah, right." I looked up the closest movers to her area that had the best reviews. I called the lady and explained the situation. Within an hour and 1/2 we had 2 great guys at our door ready to do the work!! Mary's Pupuseria is a true gem in Woodbridge. The restaurant serves authentic Salvadoran cuisine made fresh to order, and the quality shows in every bite. The staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, creating a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I have moved multiple times in my life, and until now, I never had a positive experience with somebody else moving my things. Inevitably, something (usually multiple things) would arrive damaged. Thankfully, this was not my experience with All Awesome Movers. The movers arrived on time, and were professional and courteous throughout the 8 hour move. They carefully wrapped all of my furniture, and handled my boxes gently, so nothing was damaged. They also provided an extremely fair estimate up front, which included a "not to exceed" amount that they honored. I can't say enough good things about this moving company! read more

We recently used All Awesome movers to move from our Townhouse. The movers exceeded our expectations! All Awesome Movers are truly that-awesome!! We needed a mover on short notice and so many that we called doubled their price for the short notice. But not AAM! In fact, their regular rate was lower than the other companies regular rates! Their movers were polite, strong, very careful with our furniture, and friendly. And they really knew how to pack the truck for maximum space usage. We need another move in 3 weeks and you guessed it-we are using AAM again! Our movers were Frank and Otto and they were the best. Sam provided excellent service for the estimate and it was the best overall price for SFH move - reviewed others but All Awesome Movers provided the best rate for 2 vans and 6 movers - the day of the move they were prompt, fast and careful loading and unloading - ultimately they were under estimate! These guys were great, they arrived early and were ready to work right away. We had boxes to be moved into a pod unit, and they worked nonstop, carrying 2 boxes at a time when I could barely carry one of them. They went up and down stairs 100's of times, and efficiently packed the unit in 2 hours, when I thought it would take all day. They were very careful with my belongings, and when I saw I had extra room in the unit, they were fine with me adding on things piecemeal to move into there. If I could give 6 stars, I would! I had some additional needs from our move, and reached out to Sam. He sent someone over right away to help with the final part of the move, and not only did the gentleman do an amazing job, but he also found a task that needed completed (unrelated to the hired task) and took care of it. Would have easily cost an extra couple of hundred dollars hiring someone to do it, but he took care of it. Mind-blown. This is truly an "awesome" moving company!. Efficient, on time, careful, reasonable, stress free. It was a big move from my vacation home at Lake Anna to my home in Manassas, with a stop in Lake Ridge at my daughter's house to drop off some furniture. Then to my house to unload the rest. Job done in a very timely 8 hours. The two men were polite, strong, and hard working and treated my furniture with utmost care, both loading and unloading. My family recently moved and hired All Awesome Movers to help us with every part of the move. I was six months pregnant at the time of the move, and so we hired them to do all of our packing as well as moving. What a lifesaver! These guys are seriously the best! We used them to move from Haymarket to Winchester in 2020 and when we had to move to Georgia this year they were my first call! Sam, Sarah, and the All Awesome crew are some of the most CAN-DO people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We worked on a 10-month project (Sep 2021-Jun 2022) that was far outside all of our usual scopes of services, but they came thru each and every time. I used All Awesome Movers this past weekend for a local move from an apartment to a single family home. They were extremely prompt and responsive from the initial quote to final paperwork after the move. Their price was better than almost all others locally. The movers arrived 45 minutes early and took excellent care of my furniture and items. Both team members were extremely professional and did a great job. Prepared my spreadsheet and began entering the data from the dozen or so whom replied and/or I researched. I had hired movers to pack and load/unload before (with mixed results), but never to actually take my stuff out of my sight and drive away with it. (EEK!) Skylink Movers came in the cheapest, from $140 to $1500 less. (Yes, the estimates ranged THAT much.) Enticing, but the lack of reviews on Yelp (and many many hidden ones) made me nervous, despite the company having stellar reviews elsewhere. So I asked the owner to call me because I wanted to hear his voice and see if I detected any dishonesty. There was none. He sounded sincere, even when I asked him about the hidden, i.e., suspected fraudulent, reviews. I also reached out to one of the positive Yelp reviewers for a reference. (I didn't get a response.) Over the next week, I evaluated each moving company based on price, additional fees, reviews, timing, payment options including credit card surcharges, contract details and more. I talked, text and emailed with each of the finalists directly to confirm policies. I text TJ (I think that's the owner's name, I apologize if I got it wrong.) the most because even though he was coming up on top of the rest, I was still nervous. If I have any complaint, the only one is that I had to ask a few times for a written estimate/contract. But because he responded to each and every text (and there were A LOT!), I decided to move forward. Then I requested to change my date/time a couple of times. TJ accommodated as best he could, and ultimately Jay and Dominick called the day of the move and showed up at the exact time promised. I didn't have a whole lot of stuff to move, but I was surprised by the speed, strength and efficiency at which these two young men wrapped, packed and loaded my belongings. They were also very pleasant, polite, and friendly. One of them, knowing the difficult circumstances of my move, even offered me a few kind words of support and encouragement before they left, which was very appreciated. At my destination 3 hours away, Jay and Dominick unloaded with the same efficiency, putting items and boxes in their respective rooms. I'm not completely finished packing yet, but so far it doesn't appear as though anything is damaged or was jostled during the drive. Thank you, Yelp, for making me aware of Skylink Movers. Thank you, TJ, for submitting an estimate and tolerating my OCD. And thank you Jay and Dominick for making a difficult day go as seamless as possible. I would not hesitate to use this company again.
