    Clean, friendly and secure! We have 2 units with them inside and it's been great. They carts at every entrance and lots of 1st floor units.

    I submitted the claim for the 60 cents per pound like a week ago or so, then left the last review…read more I just got a call from Eugene, the owner of the business. It was pretty pleasant overall. He apologized for all the inconvenience and gave some of the reasoning as to why the delay had happened, all of which was fair. He addressed more of my concerns in my original review. From what I understood, the carriers are third-party, so they can't really control delays. He understood my frustration about the refund being only about $24 and asked how much would I think is fair. I said $200. He said that's completely fair and ended up zelling me the money right after the phone call. Obviously the move itself was a bit frustrating, but this I think more than made up for it and it was super validating feeling like he understood where I was coming from. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the conversation and the resolution.

We were told that there may be people to help in the next state or there may not be, it could just be Oscar unloading the 26' truck himself. Seems like they pulled two guys off the street to help unload. They were clearly not as experienced as the first guys were, nor arrived dressed like they were ready to unload a truck. The one said he twisted his ankle but also had unlaced loose tennis shoes on... They go off hoping they can find someone in the next state to unload the truck with them. When reserving with Yuriy he said there would be three guys loading, traveling and unloading. That's not the case. But it's what he sold the cost of it all on, he said they were barely making money from the move by the time the three guys traveled and stayed for possibly up to two nights- three total day move. I had another quote at $4500 but Yuiry said there would be no way because of the above mentioned reason. Not the case at all. The move took two days, one night stay. Yuriy was meh, he's a sales guy so that's expected. The move was $6K, I hope they compensated Oscar fairly for all the work he did. I'm only doing this review because Oscar was really great to work with. The company's process seemed sketchy.

    If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. We have been renting a unit here for the past…read moresix years and have finally reached the point where we can no longer tolerate the ongoing issues. First, our monthly rate increased from $99 to $300 without any prior notice. Over the years, the facility has continued to decline rather than improve. The security doors have been broken for years, elevators are frequently out of service, and there are rarely any dollies available to move items. Additionally, there appears to be a homeless individual living in one of the units, which raises serious safety and management concerns. The office is closed more often than it is open, and the staff that are present are typically unable to provide answers and have been consistently rude. It is also nearly impossible to reach a real person by phone, and emails go unanswered. After six years as a customer, this level of service and maintenance is extremely disappointing.

When I first rented the unit, my monthly rate was around $119. Over the course of just one year, I received rent increase notices every few months, and my rate has now climbed to $293 per month--more than double in a very short period of time. This level of increase feels excessive and unreasonable, with no clear justification. It strongly resembles price gouging. What makes this even more frustrating is that I am currently being charged more than the rates advertised online for similar units at this same location, which raises serious concerns about fair and transparent pricing. Despite these repeated increases, the condition of the facility has not improved. Multiple access doors have frequently been broken, and the elevator has been out of service for months. Basic maintenance issues remain unresolved, even as rent continues to rise. I have attempted to contact management using the email address referenced in the owners' responses to reviews, but that email does not appear to exist. I have also reached out to other listed contacts and have received no response. Judging by the number of similar reviews describing the same issues, this appears to be a common business practice. I would not recommend this facility. Between the excessive rent increases, poor maintenance, and lack of communication, this has been a very frustrating experience.

    2024 Poor SERVICE, quality and value…read more So, It's now all automated and I could never get someone on the phone, nor was there anyone there when I hired movers to get my things out. I left messages for days and it took them over a week to return my calls. Ok so I became ill with Lyme disease so not only were my things in there for quite a while, I kept getting constant increases. And was being charged an exorbitant amount of 500+++per month, PLUS most of my things I discovered were now moldy!!! It's heartbreaking that my beautiful French chairs that go to my dining room table now have mold all over. I can't bring them into this house AND it turns out the insurance I was paying to orange PS insurance co will pay only 250 unless I prove there was a leak??? Why do I have to prove their leaking building???????. My things went in there without mold, and now they have mold. This is CLIMATE CONTROLLED? I am extremely unhappy with my experience with them... more like a nightmare

    I had three units with this location. Unfortunately, the site has a persistent leak in the roof…read more Water leaked into my unit on several occasions and caused damage to my furniture. Sadly, the lease waives any right to recovery and to add insult to injury, they would not refund all months rent where the roof leaked on my belongings(3). Public storage regional manager(Sara) told me I was lucky to get one month and when I said that wasn't enough didn't credit any months. I also plan to file a formal consumer protection complaint with the state consumer affairs and the BBB. Bottom Line: Great on-site staff, poor corporate management. BEWARE! Without the offered storage rental insurance you can walk away with a loss or with forced arbitration that's costly and time consuming.

I found/rented a 10x10 unit "on-line" (size and value - slightly lower costs than other nearby storage locations/chains), but what "sold me" was the management and facility. WOW! The most friendly and helpful management (Samina) and the cleanest, most effectively managed Public Storage franchise ever. I was immediately impressed when I arrived by how neat and clean the entire facility was maintained. The manager is Samina, and she is an exceptional "customer service / take care of you and the business" person. She knows every unit of "her" public storage franchise (and as I learned later, she also knows her customers). When she took me to my unit, she noted the roller-door was slightly ajar (needed maintenance). I thought it was fine, but she found me a nearby available unit with a "perfect roller-door" and asked if it would be OK to reassign me to that one (her concern was for me to be happy with the unit). She also sent a message to the maintenance team to check the other unit/adjust the door before it will be rented. On subsequent visits (loading items into my storage unit), Samina was helpful (making sure I found the carts, etc.) and recognized me remembering which unit I rented from memory (not needing to look-up my account). Samina's outstanding management and care about me "the customer" coupled with the cleanliness and value has convinced me the Alban Road Public Storage franchise is "best in class." RECOMMENDED!!!

She called to introduce herself and when I arrived she patiently helped complete my reservation. There were technical difficulties and she kept trying until it finally went through. Where my unit was assigned would have been a bit inconvenient due to the elevator being temporarily down, so she gave me a different one. That is what I call customer​ service! That's how it used to be when I was growing up! Nowadays....anyway, I highly recommend this location!!!
