Great service from Davetta. Food is great! My kids love it and restaurant is spotless.

Three things in my opinion can make or break a restaurant Atmosphere, Service, Product Ford's Garage in my opinion scored 10 on the first and third but Davettg took service to a whole new leve. She rates in the top level of my experience of service in my my eating experience and I'm 81 so that's saying something The only reason I won't be there more often is it's not as close as I want to go every few days. But I will be back often. Skip W read more

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday around 1 PM. Must say the parking there sucks! No parking, we had to walk quite a ways after finding a spot. We were lucky we were able to set up the bar otherwise it would've been a 45 minute wait. We enjoyed The visit overall. We both had iced tea. My wife ordered a bowl of tomato bisque while I had their Thai peanut salad. Must say it was absolutely delicious! read more

We are up in St Augustine for a well deserved vacation and decided to try this Ford's Garage, because the one where we live is always super busy. I only give either 1s or 5s for reviews because if you are mediocre it's not worth my time. Initially, it was going to be a 1 star rating because we were seated in the outside dining area and nobody came to even take drink orders for over 15 minutes, and we almost left . But, my wife finally asked to have us moved to a booth inside and we were glad we did. Our server, Davetta, was awesome! She was friendly and knew everything about the menu and about the beers, down to where and how some were made, with the various flavors, etc. We went with her suggestions and I really liked the Garage Beer with lime. When we ordered our food, I asked which she preferred between the Black and Bleu Burger or the High Octane, because both sounded amazing. She said she likes both because they were very flavorful, but the Black and Bleu Burger with a side of their garlic aioli sounded really good to her, so I tried it and was not disappointed at all. The aioli was very tasty. My wife had burger with a really good Bourbon BBQ sauce. We were both pleasantly stuffed by the end of the meal. Loved the atmosphere and the service. But, overall, they got a 5 star review because of Davetta. read more

Let me start by saying the ladies at the front were extremely sweet. They advised a generous wait time and asked if we would be ok with it. We opted to wait and were sat before the estimated wait time elapsed. Our server, Tabitha, greeted us after a few minutes and started off great. We ordered appetizers while we decided what we wanted for our main dishes. Those came and then we ordered food. 45ish minutes passed and we still didn't have our food. The manager made a few passes by us but didn't stop to ask why we all looked bored and ready to leave. He even took a few minutes to stop at the bar and make some notes as he looked around. The bartender finally noticed we had been sitting for a while with zero service... empty app plates and drinks were on the table with no attempt to refill the drinks by our server. The bartender grabbed the manager and as our server came with a tray of food to our table after standing at the bar playing with her hair, she delivered our food with the manager awkwardly standing behind her. We explained to him the experience wasn't great and the food took extremely long. He brushed it off and asked if there was anything else he could get us. I asked for a refill of my drink and a box for my burger that was delivered cold. He never returned. Took 10% off the bill without ever coming back to the table. We didn't complain to get anything taken off the bill. We wanted him aware that the service had been awful. I can't tell you what the food tasted like bc it's in a box to have to be heated later bc I had zero patience left to be there and our server was clearly ready to go bc she brought our check faster than she greeted us in the beginning. Just gonna check this place off as don't return. read more

Got the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and it had the right amount of spice & the bacon jam was the best I've had. It wasn't too sweet or too savory. It hit the perfect middle ground. My mom got The Estate Burger and loved the red onion marmalade. The waitress was great and attentive even on a busy Sunday afternoon. Really nice spot, doesn't feel like you're in a grungy garage or anything. A great selection of local Jacksonville & Florida beers. read more

We had great food, great service and an awesome place. Claire was a great server! BBQ pulled pork Mac and cheese for the win.

The motorcycle dealership down the street keeps recommending this location so I had to get in here. My lunch sized burger was very tasty with freshly cut vegetables. The onion rings had just the correct amount of crispy for me; no onion lingering after the bite. One bite and you get it all. There was no need for dessert after drinking black cherry flavored tea. There were several flavored teas to choose from and I had to get the one that caught my attention and it was very good. I think I'll try the strawberry flavored tea as well as a burger on my next visit. My server was very knowledgeable of the menu which helped me make my lunch selections. And for the people liking art; this place serves as a small museum. You have to see it all to believe it. You have hose clamps for napkin holders, there are engine blocks inside and the restroom for the guys is something else. We have beer kegs for a urinal (tmi), shut-off valves for water supply, and gas pumps for faucets. It's family fun day in this place. read more

Shoutout to our local community heroes like Lily!! She made our first visit to Ford's Garage St Augustine more memorable. She was attentive, personable, and very kind. This venue is super fun, relaxed, and unpretentious. I felt like the quality of service was very complementary to the foodie experience. The menu is accommodating to healthy salads, to comfort food, and a lot of house specialties!! Brisket, burnt ends, ribs, so many burgers, chili, soup, Mac & cheese, chicken sandwiches, and more. We started off with the crunchtastic onion rings!!! It did not need any dipping sauce, but it ate with ranch and ketchup. Yummy!! Hubby had a classic burger and fries. And I had the savory burnt end sandwich on toasted bread with fries! The portion sizes are generous! think the drink menu was a hit also. It ranged from an everyday favorites, to a large assortment of craft beers, premium liquors, cocktails, frozen drinks, and even non-alcoholic specialty drinks... not to mention amazing milkshakes with freshly whipped cream! I asked the bartenders what was the best strategy to create our favorite sweet treat, a Guinness chocolate milkshake !! We put our heads together and I ordered one of their delicious vanilla milkshakes, a Guinness, and a side of Hersheys chocolate syrup!!! It was perfect!! I controlled the amount of chocolate, milkshake, and beer ratios! Hint : if you want a more chocolatety experience, order a chocolate milkshake in place of vanilla..... perfection!!! I really appreciate the staff for helping us out!! read more

This was an enjoyable meal. My first time visiting after recommended by a neighbor. The burger was tasty (a lot of options) and the chicken wings were delicious and meaty. The servers were fantastic too. The environment is set up to resemble a garage; even the bathroom fixtures are pipes. I shall be returning there soon! Lastly, prices weren't bad either. read more
