Super attentive, gave us the time and space to make entree decisions and was on top of refilling our beverages. I opted trying their new chicken melt, my kiddo got the kid's mac and cheese with a side of mac and cheese, and my husband got the chicken fingers. Everything came out hot and was delicious. I did ask our waitress if they would sing for my kiddo's birthday. She accommodated and the servers came out singing to my kiddo. You who would have rather not have them sing? My kid. LOL. The only thing I didn't care for was while I don't mind paying for a dessert, the default is an $8 two scoop ice cream dessert. We are up in St Augustine for a well deserved vacation and decided to try this Ford's Garage, because the one where we live is always super busy. I only give either 1s or 5s for reviews because if you are mediocre it's not worth my time. Initially, it was going to be a 1 star rating because we were seated in the outside dining area and nobody came to even take drink orders for over 15 minutes, and we almost left . But, my wife finally asked to have us moved to a booth inside and we were glad we did. Our server, Davetta, was awesome! She was friendly and knew everything about the menu and about the beers, down to where and how some were made, with the various flavors, etc. We went with her suggestions and I really liked the Garage Beer with lime. When we ordered our food, I asked which she preferred between the Black and Bleu Burger or the High Octane, because both sounded amazing. She said she likes both because they were very flavorful, but the Black and Bleu Burger with a side of their garlic aioli sounded really good to her, so I tried it and was not disappointed at all. The aioli was very tasty. My wife had burger with a really good Bourbon BBQ sauce. We were both pleasantly stuffed by the end of the meal. Loved the atmosphere and the service. Very disappointed with our experience. My son bit into his burger and discovered a blue plastic bun tie inside the bun -- the type normally used to close bread bags. He had already bitten down on it before realizing what it was. This was extremely concerning because it could have caused choking or injury. Finding a piece of plastic like that in food raises serious questions about food safety and quality control. Situations like this should never happen. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews their food handling and preparation processes so this doesn't happen to another customer. read more

The motorcycle dealership down the street keeps recommending this location so I had to get in here. My lunch sized burger was very tasty with freshly cut vegetables. The onion rings had just the correct amount of crispy for me; no onion lingering after the bite. One bite and you get it all. There was no need for dessert after drinking black cherry flavored tea. There were several flavored teas to choose from and I had to get the one that caught my attention and it was very good. I think I'll try the strawberry flavored tea as well as a burger on my next visit. My server was very knowledgeable of the menu which helped me make my lunch selections. And for the people liking art; this place serves as a small museum. You have to see it all to believe it. You have hose clamps for napkin holders, there are engine blocks inside and the restroom for the guys is something else.
