Tried Ford's Garage after eating seafood the previous 5 days and checking reviews. Glad we did. It's the atmosphere that takes makes it special. Service was really good snd the food better than average. As a man, you have to checkout the men's room. We also enjoyed the "shop rag" napkins with the hose clamp. Fun place to eat. read more

The atmosphere here is one very fun and unique experience. All the Ford themed memorabilia is truly a step back in time. Service on a Saturday night was busy as expected, but great! The manager helped me move a chair so I could find a single spot at the crowded bar. Bar dinner service was great as well. I ordered a beer from the menu, which they were out of - bummer as it was the only stout they offered. I then ordered a burger, made my way rather than their offered special burgers. It arrived timely but only lukewarm, as we're the meager amount of fries. I had a long drive still ahead so I ate it without complaining. I was surprised to see the bill which was more expensive than the specialty bison burger on the menu, $5 more, which frankly is still too much. Overall I felt only so-so about the experience. read more

Food and service are excellent here. One of the best burgers in Saint Augustine. Ambiance is pretty cool. As you would imagine, lots of garage stuff all over. Men's urinals are made from beer kegs. Definitely recommend giving this a try. Lunch time is very busy so you may have a wait. read more

Went on a Thursday for dinner. Had a good hamburger last time I came. I decided to try the brisket burnt ends sandwich that was highlighted as their premier sandwich. Waitress also said it was very good. I honestly didn't like it. I did not like the taste. I also had the truffle fries. They were good but didn't taste the truffle. Also ordered the pretzels dip it was just average. We also ordered the meat loaf and it was good nothing special. They have a very good beer selection and the frosted mug was great. Plus the bar has a frozen area to set your mug on. I wish I could get one for the house. I will stick to the burger next time. read more

Spent an afternoon at Ford's while the wives visited the outlet mall. Had a few beers and some wings. Both were very good. The servers were friendly and joined right in with conversation with us. Good amount of TV's for football. Then when the wives arrived we had dinner which was also good. Burgers and chicken tenders. Would recommend as a good place to stop for a bite, a beer and a game. read more

Okay, so I've been wanting to go to Ford's Garage ever since I came across their Daytona Beach location. The whole car-themed concept instantly caught my eye and the menu looked sooo good. It's been on my list forever, so when my boyfriend and I were driving back to Jacksonville after a few days in Miami, I was searching for food spots in St. Augustine and boom, I remembered there was a Ford's Garage there! We decided to stop, and let me just say... I was so happy I finally got to go. From the second we walked in, it was a whole vibe. The interior is everything you'd hope for, full-on car theme, down to the smallest details. The host and servers were dressed in mechanic-style uniforms, there were engines and car parts hanging from the ceiling, and even the door handle was made from a gas pump. I was living for it! The menu was just as exciting, tons of options for all dietary needs, which I really appreciated. We ordered drinks, apps, and entrées to try a bit of everything. I had a mango margarita (added Patrón to mine, of course) and my boyfriend got a blue drink that was marked as a Ford's Garage favorite. Mine was solid, but he felt like his could've been a little stronger. For apps, we got the onion rings and cheese curds, both hit the spot. I ordered the Octane Burger with a veggie patty, and my boyfriend got a brisket burger (can't remember the exact name but it looked so good). Everything was delicious and super filling. Our server was also the sweetest, wish I caught her name, but she really made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Overall, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, everything was on point. My boyfriend became a fan immediately, and honestly? This might just be one of my favorite restaurant experiences in Florida. We were literally talking about going back the next day. We'll definitely be back again soon! read more

This is a cool restaurant! Lots of attention to detail to give the feel of a garage. Napkins are oil rags, bathroom sink is in a tire, etc. The burgers and sides were solid. Service was good, perhaps a little slow at times. Shakes for dessert were ok. An overall good experience. read more

Great burgers and French onion soup. This place is really cool all decked out in car stuff. I'll definitely be back to this place. We sat at the bar and service was top notch. This was around lunch time with a pretty good crowed. Loved the decorations with car memorabilia. They served you with shop towels for napkins! Love that! read more

We wanted to try a new place for lunch. I've heard of Ford's Garage which is a cool name because it's inside the Ford Dealership premises. We started out my booking at the model T trucks directly outside the restaurant. We walked in and were immediately seated. There were several families that came in after us. It was good to see that this is a nice place to bring the kids during the day. Not sure what night life looks like. It's is a full service bar inside. Hubby noticed that we had been waiting almost 15 minutes and no one has been over to greet us. I was ready to go. Because I was hungry. John went to see what's happening. Mgr came over and got our drinks. His name was Johnny. He was very apologetic. He offered us an appetizer for the wait but we just wanted to order. Everything doesn't require something free. We just wanted to get service. Shortly our server came over. We immediately ordered. John got the Estate Burger. Price: $16.99 Smoked Gouda Cheese, Sweet Red Onion Marmalade, Arugula, Tomato, Fried Onion Straws, and White Truffle Bacon Aioli on a Brioche Bun. It also came with Fries. I ordered the Grilled Chicken over Jasmin Rice, street corn, avocado and diced tomatoes. It comes with a lime chipotle dressing but I left it off. It was under the 1500 calorie menu. Priced $15.99. Large portions. I stole a few of Hubby's French fries. They were delicious too. He ate all his food. I had half a plate to take home Hubby got the. Caramel Apple Cookie Skillet. Price: $9.99 Warm Caramel Apple Cookie, Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce, Topped with Fresh House-Made Whipped Cream. For our first time visiting Ford's Garage. The food was very delicious. The service needs more work. read more

Ford's Garage is a solid full service restaurant in St. Augustine, Florida. The restaurant opened in 2020. The restaurant team leased the Ford name and logo, but are not a part of the Ford Dealership, even though they are located adjacent to the car dealership at this particular location. The theme is as the title says, a car/garage theme. there are vintage Ford vehicles in front of the restaurant and one in the air near the bar area inside the restaurant. The theme centers around auto memorabilia right down to the mechanics rags for napkins and clamps for napkin rings. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant. It's located adjacent to the Ford car dealership at the outlet mall area just off I-95 at the St. Augustine exit. We were promptly greeted by the host. It was a busy Saturday lunch so it took a bit for a server to greet us and longer still to get our drink order. My dining companion said the water had a chemical taste to it. I had ordered a soda, so I didn't have that experience. My dining companion ordered the American Standard burger, served with American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, and Pickle Planks on a Brioche Bun. The default is french fries for a side item. We requested the parmesean cheese truffle fries. My dining companion said, this restaurant does burgers and fries right! I ordered the Estate Burger, served with Smoked Gouda Cheese, Sweet Red Onion Marmalade, Arugula, Tomato, Fried Onion Straws, and White Truffle Bacon Aioli on a Brioche Bun. I requested the seasoned kettle chips instead of french fries. The chips were crispy and delicious, but needed a little salt. The Estate Burger was a little messy because there are alot of components involved, but it was completely delicious. The burger buns each had a distinct char impression on the top and that made for a nice unique touch. It doesn't detract from the food at all. It took some time to get our check. We paid cash so we didn't have a further wait. We both agreed we would return because the food is worth the effort. read more

My husband surprised me with lunch here, and I couldn't have picked a better spot to satisfy my burger craving. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. It must have been a popular birthday day, because there was plenty of singing--and the Model T over the bar even joined in with its honking and noise! We were greeted by Ava and seated right away, and soon after met our server, Davetta. Let me just say: request Davetta if you can! She was engaging, funny, full of good humor, and truly made the whole experience memorable. Bright, cheerful, and quick on her feet--she's the kind of server who elevates a meal into an experience. We started with the Tower of Onion Rings, and wow--they were everything onion rings should be. Thick-cut, golden, and crisp--not those pressed-together shreds, but real-deal onion rings. Delicious! For our main, we shared the Mushroom Swiss Burger, cooked perfectly to a medium-rare. The mushrooms were cooked just right and complemented the burger beautifully. Even the fries were top-notch, hot, crispy, and well-seasoned--just like the onion rings. (Did I mention the onion rings? Because I really should again. They were that good!) Everything just clicked: the lively atmosphere, the spot-on food, and the absolute joy of having Davetta as our server. When the stars align like that, you know you've found a gem. Ford's Garage in Saint Augustine is a must-do. Perfect meal, perfect service--what more can you ask for? read more

The decor was cute. Like being in a garage. Service was fast and our server was friendly. We both ordered the Americana burger. It's a smaller burger and was great since we weren't real hungry. The steamed broccoli was good but could have been better with some butter. They were out of Chardonnay but after seeing the price for a 6pm pour, I was good with a Diet Coke. read more

Stopped in at Ford's Garage for a late lunch after negotiating a deal at the dealership next door, all was well but nothing like relaxing in front of a good meal while strategizing before signing on the dotted line. We arrived and was immediately seated with no wait, within moments Kelly our wonderful and enthusiastic server greeted us with a smile and an arm full of menus. This was my first visit to this location but I'm very familiar with their fare, we chose the Smokey Brisket Burnt-end Melt with Ford Tots and Chicken Tenders with Fries - the food arrived quickly after our beverages were brought out and both entrées arrived hot and were delicious. This was a great experience and one I'd repeat often if I were a local, no complaints here only praise... read more

We stopped here for lunch while we were talking over which motorcycle to buy at the Harley dealership a few doors down. We were seated promptly and our waitress came to our table within minutes to take our drink order. The place was quite busy, so this was a pleasant surprise. There were so many items on the menu that I would love to try so we will definitely have to make a return visit. I really wanted the French onion soup but they were out of all soup. That is the only reason this is not a five star review. My mushroom Swiss burger was cooked perfectly. We asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were. (if you don't like pepper ask them not to season your fries.). My amaretto sour was delicious and my husband's beer came in a perfectly chilled mug. While you're waiting for your food, you can check out the old truck and memorabilia in the dining area. If you're a car person, you'll love the atmosphere. There's a fully stocked bar in the middle and there wasn't an empty seat at it! read more

Daniel our service was absolutely amazing. My drink was never empty which is a big deal to this girl. I used my free birthday appetizer reward for the Ahi Tuna - I will say when it came out it was a little on the slim side - we mentioned to Daniel and he had a very nice manager (Eve was her name) come over and brought us a new dish. They both couldn't have been more emphatic and making sure we were happy. The restaurant itself sets you back to when times were simpler and relaxing. My main dish was of course the burger - a staple every time we visit. This isn't our local location but we will definitely be stopping by when we pass through St. Augustine. Well done! read more

We came to Ford's Garage because it was my kiddo's birthday pick and he says they have the best mac and cheese in town. When we were seated our server was lovely. Super attentive, gave us the time and space to make entree decisions and was on top of refilling our beverages. I opted trying their new chicken melt, my kiddo got the kid's mac and cheese with a side of mac and cheese, and my husband got the chicken fingers. Everything came out hot and was delicious. I did ask our waitress if they would sing for my kiddo's birthday. She accommodated and the servers came out singing to my kiddo. You who would have rather not have them sing? My kid. LOL. The only thing I didn't care for was while I don't mind paying for a dessert, the default is an $8 two scoop ice cream dessert. I would have rather been asked what dessert we'd like and would have gladly paid for it. read more

Ford's Garage - St. Augustine: A Nostalgic, Flavor-Packed Pit Stop If you're cruising through St. Augustine and looking for a dining experience that blends vintage Americana charm with gourmet burgers and craft beers, Ford's Garage is a must-visit. The restaurant is styled like a 1920s service station, complete with retro Ford vehicles, gas pumps, and memorabilia. Even the bathroom sinks are made from tires and gas pump nozzles. It's kitschy in the best way and surprisingly! True Story! The menu centers around burgers, and they do not disappoint. The Model "A" Burger is a favorite of mine! Cooked order. Definitely don't skip the truffle fries or the giant onion rings either -- they're crispy, golden, and great for sharing. They are delicious! They have a full bar, which offers local Florida brews and national favorites. Service was attentive and friendly, with staff clearly enjoying the unique vibe of the place. It was a fun experience!
