I'm being bias cause my son is manager here now. So I'm giving this place a 5. lol! How ever... He WAS @ Pearlridge location and was recently transferred to this location. Which really works for him because he lives close by. So, let's hope he gets some good reviews. This location has A LOT of young adults working here. And I consider my son to be a young adult BUT... in his case, he's actually much older than these "adults" who he manages. So I'm going to say this place is yummy, delicious and awesome! Nah nah nah kidding! TBH, this location has been crowded & constantly busy. Which says their food is delicious. People are willing to pay $14-$16 for a burger. Says A LOT.

After watching a movie at Olina Consolidated Theater, we walked around for a bit and decided to try Five Guys for a burger and fries. I checked Yelp to see the reviews and I was a little hesitant to try it. However, first hand reviews are the best right? The place is clean and it has a gender free bathroom. You will need to ask for the code to use the restroom. The menu is straightforward and you can have unlimited toppings! I was surprised by that. I ordered a little burger (one patty) with grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise and a side of A-1 sauce to try. My hubby ordered a regular hamburger (2 patties) with everything on top lol. We also ordered a regular size Cajun fries and a drink. The burgers were juicy and flavorful 4/5 stars. I couldn't finish my burger. It was a lot. The Cajun fries were too salty and rubbery ? Not crispy and somewhat undercooked? 2/5 stars. The drink machine was pretty cool as you can pick and choose what type of drink you want. Many options here. 5/5 stars. While we were there, staff came about and cleaned the tables and emptied rubbish. Everyone seemed friendly and professional. I later asked if we could've ordered the fries extra crispy and I was given a yes! Maybe next time.

Today was the first time I went to Five Guys. Glad I did. The young girl at the register was very nice and helpful. I was surprised to see how expensive the hamburgers are. I ordered the little burger which consisted of one patty and all the fixings. I also ordered a shake. I was curious to see how thick and Rich the shakes would be. The young girl patiently answered all of my questions and I ended up getting a combo of chocolate malt shake. The hamburger was delicious the meat tasted very fresh and I had all the fixings except the onions and I added some grilled jalapeños. The shake was good, not too sweet, but it got sweeter at the end. I would definitely stop at five guys the next time I see one. Unfortunately I don't think they have any in town. My girlfriend had the fries, but I didn't care for them too much. The store was nice and clean lots of parking at Kamakana Aki

Sun's out and the buns are warm! Five Guys here at Kamakana Ali'i has checked all my boxes in my decision to have a bite of something that I had no idea what I really wanted. - Indoor air-conditioned seating - price friendly budget - relaxing and comfortable - restroom - fill your own drink with Coca-cola Freestyle touch screen - burger build your own way...and fries!! woohoo!! It was my first time here so I gladly let others go before me as I scan the menu which I'm so glad for that extra time. It is quite simple "Burger, Dogs or Sandwiches" Burgers "regular or little" price will vary if you add bacon and/or cheese. I hesitated to have little as it sounded like it's super tiny uhhh...NO! Not exactly sure of the size it's not a quarter pounder but in my onion little just the regular size and ALL TOPPINGS ARE INCLUDED!!! I just had lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, grilled onions and ketchup. Fries....ahhhh! Little, regular or large...they got me on this one I got regular...should've gotten little! You can get them regular or cajun, of course I had to try cajun which was a nicely tossed in spice...probably would do regular next time since I do love to add ketchup no spice is actually needed. Luckily I kept it simple with a cup of water that is easily dispense from the touch screen Coke dispenser thank goodness because if I got a shake I'd be in deep trouble lol!! Five Guys was a delight they took very good care and was very efficient almost fell into a food coma in the air-conditioned comfort seating but got on my way and tried to walk myself to awaken alertness lol!! Thank you!!

I got the Bacon cheese burger lettuce wrap! It was actually really good! They did forget the Mayo though. The guy was really friendly and provided good customer service. I remember in the past there was this lady (manager) and she was rude, so it's good they probably have better management. Always new workers though, new faces every month. All in all it was awesome.

It's a really good place to grab a fresh and delicious burger. It is more on the pricey side as everything is Ala cart. The A/C is nice to get a break from the sun and don't forget your peanuts!!! I got a cheeseburger All the way (Mayo, Lettuce, Pickle, Tomatoes, Grilled Mushroom, Ketchup, Grilled Onion, Mustard) and I added Green Peppers with a medium fry. They do give you extra fries but mine were not fresh so they were not that good. They have drink machines where you can create your own beverages but I only drank my water!

Well.... It's been a while since Five Guys first opened up on the islands. There's been a lot of hype about this place and their burgers. I FINALLY had the opportunity to try them! I walked into the Kapolei location. Clean. Very nostalgic looking. It's a good ole' fashioned burger joint! Being that this is my first time here, I opted for two orders of their most popular items, Cheeseburger and fries. It might have taken 10 minutes for my order to come up. Not a very long wait. Especially when you engage in a conversation with the friendly manager! I brought my order back to the office and dug in. Fries are the "soggy" type; not crispy. Skin on. I actually like it! I unwrap my burger and immediately, my mind is trying to get a grasp of how I'm going to eat this monstrosity! Two all beef patties with melted cheddar, lettuce, tomato slices, some sliced pickles, on a bed of grilled onions and mushrooms. The beef patties are quality ground beef. But I was expecting something with seasoning.... I assume beef lovers will appreciate the fact that it doesn't seem to have fillers. Unfortunately, it also doesn't have salt, pepper or anything else for that matter. I think the biggest "WOW" moment was when my order was rung up: $45 for two burgers and fries!? The slices of pickles were just OK. (To date, the best pickles found in a sandwich is Popeye's chicken sandwich. My personal opinion, of course!) Personally, While I don't think it's bad, I believe that the burgers are WAY overpriced. For $14 each, I would have wanted a bit of salt and maybe the aroma of Rosemary in my burger. $14 for a burger! Somebody really has a high opinion about their food! I give the manager and her team a solid 5 stars. It's unfortunate that the burger didn't live up to the hype. Maybe if the price point came down 5 bucks, I'd be more willing to give this place another star or two.

Our server informed us that it had been off and on for the past week, but went down since Friday. Not good for only being open for a year. They only had appetizers and salads, along with their bar, which offers a wide range of beers and wine by the glass, along with cocktails. Since we were technically "working", that had to wait for another time. Our server, Erin, was so nice and apologetic, even tho it wasn't her fault. For obvious reasons it was fairly slow, for a normal Sunday lunch crowd. Since we were pressed for time, we ended up just ordering a couple of appetizers; the sausage bites and chicken. They were both tempura style battered, and served with sauce or mustard on the side. The sausage had a slight spice to it, which was nice, and it was served piping hot pot of the fryer. A fork would've been nice, but they were small enough to eat by hand, but be careful, because they're pretty tough to bite thru. The chicken bites were smaller and easier to handle, although they were a bit dry, so the ranch furikake dipping sauce helped. We were out within 20 minutes, so very fast, and I'm hoping the griddle gets repaired soon, so I can try their burgers.

The restaurant has an open air, causal atmosphere, with several TV's for sports events. I didn't look at the menu as I was too busy chatting away & catching up, but my friend did the ordering & got several plates of Frrrrrrried Chicken wings, pizzas, & onion rings. Of course at "808 Craft House" they are known for their craft beers, so many glasses of beers were ordered that afternoon. Unfortunately for me, I no longer can partake in alcohol, but those beers sure looked refreshing. I was totally surprised about the parking situation for this strip mall. Why do I say this? Unfortunately at this strip mall, there is NO FREE parking at all (not the restaurant's fault). You have to use your smart phone & scan the QR code to pay for parking if you choose to visit any business on this strip mall property. I ended up paying $16.20 for 3 hours parking. That was the only bummer thing about visiting this strip mall.

All in all, i would say i much prefer the Waikiki location. Perhaps it was just a busy night for the cooks, but I don't know if I'd give them another shot. On the plus side, since it's ko olina there was plenty of parking around but because it's ko olina it's expensive to park.
