Last night I went to the food truck event at Kapolei Commons. I waited in line for about 10 minutes-nothing outrageous. But then I had to wait for my food for over 30 minutes. Even though I provided my name during checkout, employees were just calling out the name of the dish. Then everyone who ordered that dish was supposed to raise their hands. Then the employee just randomly selected the customer. The girl waiting next to me has been waiting for 3 dishes for over 40 minutes. And worse yet, the orders weren't coming out together. The family next to me waited over 20 minutes for 3 dishes so the first dish was cold by the time the last dish came out. At one point an employee asked everyone to raise their hands if they ordered the garlic shrimp dishes. After 22 people raised their hands, the employees started talking about how they different have enough pineapples. The employees obviously weren't working well together-the employees outside the van kept yelling at the employees in the van. Last night was definitely my last time eating here!

The overall attitude and atmosphere at this location needs serious improvement. What really stood out to me was overhearing a female manager speaking to another table. I wasn't even the guest she was dealing with, but her attitude and the way she communicated with them was uncomfortable enough that I noticed it from my own table. As a guest, you shouldn't have to personally be involved in a situation to recognize poor customer service. Management sets the example for the entire team, and professionalism matters, especially when other guests can hear and see how situations are being handled. A friend was right this place doesnt care about their guests its just a easy paycheck i guess. I gave Mililani another chance, but after this experience, I don't plan on coming back. I'll continue going to Waikele, where my experiences have been much better.
