    Unreal birria taco

Wow what a find! We got birria tacos and they were super yummy made with love! Totally underrated and unknown. Located in the back of Paradise Ciders, you have to order & pay at the food truck. You get a beeper and pick it up. We want to come back and try everything. Here are some suggestions though: Churros Mexican corn bowls with add on proteins Charcuterie board Use the mustard aioli sauce or chimmichurri sauce with fries Brats/sausage in buns Dog friendly food on menu

Disclaimer: HI Sliders and Paradise Ciders share the same space. HI Sliders is in a food truck towards the back of the seating area. I did a separate review for Paradise Ciders - go check em out! I recently visited this establishment last month for the first time. Don't come for me... lol... I know... I know... I've lived in Mililani for quite some time and never came here. ‍ Anyways, one night myself and my children just happened to drop by and someone recommended the blacken shrimp tacos. Needless to say, we're hooked. It is SO GOOD! Ordering process: If you're dining in, just seat yourself. Then, check out the menu and order at the food truck. They'll hand you a pager and once your order is ready, it'll buzz you. Take your food back to your table. Don't forget to grab your own utensils, share plates, and napkins. We have also eaten the All American sliders with fries, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and Birria taco. All are very tasty. Our first time there we had the Strawberry Shortcake Deep Fried Twinkie with ice cream. That was a wrap!! All of our bellies were satisfied. The workers were extremely nice and helpful. All smiles! I'm extremely grateful for that because it made my kids less intimidated to pick up the food from them. If you're in the area -- check em -- go check em go! And if you're not, make a trip to this location.

All American sliders. Upgraded fries to onion rings for $1.50. So good!

I really like sliders so I'm glad I got to try these! My sister had been here before so I thought I'd give it a try. My dad wanted garlic fries but they do not have that, but we upgraded to onion rings instead of regular fries for $1.50 which was pretty good. We both got the All-American sliders. I ordered on the phone before I came so I could just pick them up. I parked near Foodland and was walking around for a bit because I couldn't find the place. I finally had to call my sister to ask her where it was. I should have read more of the reviews because people mention it. It's inside Paradise Ciders, between Jamba Juice and Starbucks. It's in the back of the bar, in a food truck. So cool! But also, a little hard to find haha. But once you know, it's great! It seems like a cool place to hang out. It comes with 3 sliders which look little but they're very filling. The onion rings were good too. The sliders were pretty basic but tasty; I might ask for more of the aioli sauce on the side next time. They did give us ketchup though. Service was nice and quick and I would go back again!

Cute little spot. A burger food truck in a brew bar is perfect. They have games and stuff for kids so kid friendly! Everyone was nice and helpful. I left my phone and the bartender brought it out to me! Prop our new go to spot to eat at before hitting the movies down the street. Didn't care for the taco and the pizza was good. Returning for the sliders and to try the wing specials (we saw those after already ordering)

My sister was talking about this place she had heard about in mililani so we decided to give it a try. At first, i didn't see a "food truck" like everyone was saying it was. So we parked next to Ross and 24 hour fitness and walked towards Starbucks. Noticed the food truck was in a bar area. How cool is that? You walk through a bar and the food truck is in the back. They have a bunch of things on the menu. We decided to get the sliders, kalua pizza and shrimp scampi pizza. Everything was yummy! The shrimp scampi pizza was a little spicy, but it reminded me of the shrimp scampi pizza from bravos. A little suggestion.. maybe cut the shrimp into tiny pieces and spread it out on the pizza. The staff were friendly and gave us suggestions on what their most popular dish was. We definitely will be back when we're in the mililani area.

Inside of Paradise Ciders, the first time I tried them for Taco Tuesday, I wasn't all that impressed. However, their fries were delicious! Really crispy and seasoned well. My group all got different sliders for dinner when we went for trivia night; black bean, Kalua pork, and bacon jam burger. We all enjoyed them all but ranking them we decided on bacon jam, black bean, and Kalua pork. The black bean burger had good flavor but I think all three would have been tiring so it was nice we split them all. The Kalua pork wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped. And the bacon jam burger was spot on. Juicy and packed with a sweet bacon flavor.

Shrimp taco ($5.95) and Birria taco ($4.95). VERY small and tasty but not tasty enough to justify the price and portion.

#4 of 52 (trying a new restaurant at least once a week) Needed to stay close to home and since we had to go to Ross anyway we decided to check out HI Sliders. This food truck is located in the back of Paradise Ciders. We settled on 2 birria tacos ($4.95 each), 2 shrimp tacos ($5.95 each) and the Texas fries ($13.99). Food took about 15 minutes so not too bad. Immediately noticed how small the tacos were. :( Birria tacos - literally just meat which I'm not that mad about but aren't they supposed to come with onions and cheese? Consomme was good but without it the meat was kind fo dry. Nice crispy shell though. Shrimp tacos - flavorful shrimp and liked the slaw and sauce. Texas Fries - Fries, shredder cheese, bacon and jalapeños. Basic and nothing special. Overall the food is just average. While the shrimp tacos were good, my guy's shrimp tacos he makes at home are just as good. For us the portions don't justify the price. Very small tacos for $5 and $6 and nothing special about the fries. We decided we won't return. The food is not bad but there is much better food to spend our money on.

So yummy all the time and service is always so good. I love how unique the restaurant is and staff is super nice.

HI Sliders is the best burger joint in Central. Every bite was packed with flavor -- the sliders were juicy, creative, and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and fast, felt like a backyard BBQ with gourmet vibes. Highly recommend stopping by if you stay this side!

I love this place!!! The blackened shrimp taco is a must try!! BEST ITEM ON THE MENU SWEAR The staff is always positive and super sweet!! Great energy and to top it off they are inside of a taproom! Tacos and margaritas? What more could you ask for! Don't walk, RUN to HI Sliders these will cure your hangover/bad day or even make ur amazing day better, I PROMISE! I know the only picture I got was the pesto chicken pizza but the tacos are where ITS AT swear. I only could capture the aftermath. I hope it's enough proof that it was so good!!

Food was made in a timely manner. Service was great! Ambiance was just right it wasn't too bright or too dark. We enjoyed how the fresh air from outdoors was coming in.

    Lunch wagon in back
    Edge N.

Interesting!! I walked past this place a few times before...its only when I ran across it on yelp that it was really brought to my attention. ITs located in the Mililani shopping center (the one with Ross and foodland) one door down from starbucks. Walking past looking in it doesnt seem too welcoming because everything is kind of in a corner and set back from the main sidewalk but it is definetely worth to explore....Its very interesting because its literally a lunch wagon in a bar...the bar "Paradise ciders" leases the back side receiving area to "Hi sliders"... Both businesses are seperate and not affiliated with each other but work well together. You have to walk into the bar to get to Hi sliders. You order your food from Hi sliders but sit and eat in paradise ciders bar and get your drinks from the bar. The menu consist of sliders..tacos...flatbread pizza and some other stuff....we went with the 3 sliders (bacon jam burger) and fries for $14.99...The burgers were good (seasoned and tasty) bacon jam was basically bits of bacon in some kind of sauce (very faint taste of bacon but good)and nice salty crispy fries ..Also ordered a birra taco for $4.95....not the biggest taco but it was good (came with a dipping sauce dont know what it was but it was good). Staff was two ladies in the lunch wagon....Both were cordial one lady having a friendlier (is there such a word?) Lol demeanor than the other but pleasant anyways. Its a pretty cool set up and I imagine it would probably be pretty busy on the weekends..dont have to go into town and plenty parking... All in all food was good ..prices was fair (nothing is cheap nowdays) We went on a monday evening so it wasnt busy...oh and they even have clean restrooms in house! Its different and definetely worth a visit

Mexican sounded good to everyone so we picked this spot and we're all very happy we did. Our server was kind and attentive. The place was lovely and decorated with just the amount of fun you expect. Some great photo ops in there. He even told us they were having a mariachi band tomorrow and invited us to come back. The food from the start with nachos and salsa to the end with tres leches was all delicious. I ordered the chorizo queso and it was fantastic. My son ordered the guacamole and it was so fresh and limey. Also delicious. My grandkids shared a quesadilla which was definitely large enough to do so with. My oldest grandson ordered a torte and he loved it. Also a generous portion. My son and I both ordered the grande burrito. He got his wet and I didn't. His was served on a plate and mine came wrapped in foil in a basket. I wish it would have also come on a plate. I like to cut it up to eat and the foil made that difficult to do. Have been meaning to check out this spot for a minute but just hadn't been able to until today…read more I stopped by here at 11am on Saturday after a hike. It was "crowded" in that there is a very limited dining area and out door seating area. We managed to snag a table by asking another couple if they were using both of their tables which were put together. Fortunately they weren't. If you're outside, it's also super loud because of the traffic. Probably goes without saying but if you're on a first date or whatever perhaps not the most ideal spot. So we stood in line. Make sure to grab a menu while you're there if you don't have it pulled up on your phone. I ordered fish taco (singular)...i guess they don't do three for whatever like many other places do. That's fine. My date ordered the Tostada de Atun (tuna). And then I ordered a 16oz ceviche to go. I guess I assumed the ceviche would be fish, but i think it's shrimp. Everything was tasty, especially the ceviche. If it was regular fish ceviche, it would have been 20/10. I'm not a huge fan of shrimp and it was still a solid 9/10. The fish taco was fine, if a bit under seasoned. And I think my date enjoyed her tostada. Would totally recommend this place to anyone.
