This place is absolutely LEGIT. No frills, no gimmicks - just ridiculously good Mexican seafood that punches you in the face with flavor from the first bite. The kind of spot where you know the food is going to be good before you even sit down. The ceviche was insanely fresh and loaded with flavor. The homemade chips had the perfect crunch, and the BSOD ("Black Sauce of Death") absolutely lives up to the name in the best possible way. Spicy, smoky, addictive... I'm still thinking about it. Da OG Tostada was probably my favorite bite of the meal. Blue crab spread + ceviche + avocado = game over. Every layer worked perfectly together and somehow disappeared way too fast. And the steak tacos? Straight fire. Tender arrachera, fresh pico, crunchy cabbage, and packed with flavor without trying too hard. Simple and perfect. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about immediately... while secretly hoping it doesn't get TOO popular.

Here we goo. Car repairs and ceviche. Only in Aiea, Hawaii. Did an on-line order and it was ready at the said time. Super friendly staff. Parking, umm. There is parking but watch out reversing out to Kam Hwy.. Ordered the Blue crab tobiko spread, 32oz sonoran style ceviche, with homemade tostadas and guacamole. Without saying much, all of it was good. Support local.

This place hit the spot after spending two weeks in Japan I was in need of some mariscos and boy did this spot hit all the right notes. The campechana was amazing perfectly spicy if you love spicy if not maybe tell them to hold the serranos also tried the shrimp taco it was amazing and the taco Cabo was bomb with the arrachera the cheese on the tortilla and shrimp definitely this is a must go if you're in Oahu

My wife was telling me about this place and we couldn't wait to try their ceviche tostada with blue crab spread! We got to the place and it looked like a gas station. It's unique and feels like something out of San Diego or something. It was a cool vibe. I felt like I was back in Cali with the Mexican music in the background. There are tables outside but they get taken quick so try and grab one when you can. I ordered their chicharron de pescado, marlin quesadilla, and a tub of ceviche with blue crab spread and a pack of tostadas. This all came to about $100. The chicharron pescado was pretty decent. The mahi mahi fish bites were tender but tasted a bit like regular fish sticks from elementary. I also wasn't a big fan of their marlin quesadilla either. The marlin meat was way too smoked and blackened for my taste. It's bold and peppery and didn't pair well with the cheese or tortilla. I wish it wasn't so strong tasting. The meat was pretty dry too. My wife and I, did enjoy the ceviche tostadas though. This was tasty and fresh. The blue crab spread makes this and without it, the whole thing would just be too plain tasting. The food is whatever to me honestly, but I'd come back for the tostadas. I do want to also try their ahi tuna tostada and fish tacos! I think these would be better choices.

This place sits right by the street next to a tire shop so hopefully you don't miss it. Parking is a bit limited and it does get noisy. The place has some chairs inside and outside but not as much as the crowd it gets. The food is definitely good but I don't know if it's as amazing as others say. The staff is super friendly tho and helpful. I did enjoy the tostada OG. It's definitely pricey but it is seafood so can't expect less. Def try this spot out.

Finally tried Da Seafood Cartel and it did not disappoint. The steak and shrimp taco was super flavorful and the salsa was so good--same goes for the fish tacos. The fish portions were actually a really good size too, which I appreciated. Definitely recommend trying their marlin tobiko dip amd chips! The service was quick and friendly. There's a decent amount of seating, but just a heads up that parking is a little tight with some tandem spots in a small lot. It can get noisy since the place is right next to the road. Overall, really solid spot--I'd definitely come back.

Came to Da Seafood Cartel after seeing an influencer post about it on TikTok. It's conveniently located in an old gas station right off the highway. The parking situation is not ideal with only about 6 tandem stalls dedicated to the restaurant. My friends had to find parking in a lot nearby. The seating is outdoors but covered. I got the fish tacos and chips and guac. The fish tacos were super good! I loved how big the pieces of fish were. The chips were the thick tortilla chips that I really like, and the guac was good but nothing super special. Loved the casual vibes of the place, and the food was delicious! I would definitely come back here to try more of their food.

We asked them what a pregnant woman can eat, and they provided so much options they recommended, and we got every single one they told us to get. Highly recommended going back there again, plus the ambiance is well pleasant and outdoor seating, so you have the breeze. What the recommended. Been coming here to satisfy my shrimp ceviche cravings since I moved back home and wow...so good, the best shrimp ceviche, crab dip creation ever!!! Every bite is just that good, I can't explain it. This place is always busy so be prepared! We've been wanting to try other dishes but never got the chance to since there weren't any tables or parking available. The restaurant used to be a gas station or auto shop and I can never unsee it when I come here! Love how quick they move despite the many orders/customers they have. The place feels like a mom and pop vibe, in the backyard or patio...chillin with the fam type of feel. Super chill, bomb food, and good vibes!

This place gets slammed! Came here with a girlfriend on a Monday night and it was packed. Service is really quick though and there is a decent amount of seating. We got da OG tostada, shrimp taco and steak taco. Everything was fresh and tasty. Couldn't really taste the blue crab tobiko spread on the tostada but next time I go, I'll get the takeout pack to try it on its own. The ceviche was amazing. Prices are what you would expect for seafood and Hawaii. The reggaeton made the atmosphere fun. Parking is tight at the restaurant but we found extra parking at the Dixie Grill, up the ramp.

I wish I could give this place more than five stars my best restaurant experience I've had in ages! The server/cashier was the absolute best she was so sweet, the best service. The food was amazing. The OG tostada was life changing. The ceviche on the tostada was so good but what really made it so good was that blue crab tobiko spread. To top it off gotta shake some of the BSOD sauce that's in a bottle on the table. It was so good I bought some ceviche, blue crab tobiko spread and extra tostada to take home before our tacos came out lol! The tacos were really good and they really fill it up. I just went the other day and I want to go back already! They have a few seats inside and more right outside after you order.

Now this is the best Mexican (and seafood) spot I've had on O'ahu. I thought I left a review for this spot but turns out I haven't. I've come here several times already and have brought several out of town guests to eat. We first heard about this from some friends who brought Blue Marlin Dip and their Ceviche to a gathering. It was absolutely delicious. Then we discovered their Fish Tacos which were phenomenal. My family, which is from Ensenada, MX, also boasted about how delicious their fish tacos were. Whenever I have a chance, I'll grab their fish tacos, dip, and ceviche - couple with a "Mexican Coke". The service is good. Nothing to boast about. I would prefer if they came to take our order instead of ordering at the front since when I bring larger parties, it becomes a challenge to get everyone's order right. However, the staff is always friendly. The ambiance is quite a challenge since it's right off Kam Hwy. We have young children and it's hard to relax since we are always double-checking they are safe. Not to mention there are no high-chairs. Parking is also tandem which can be inconvenient. Also, the bathroom could use some upkeep. It smelled like urine. However, still a solid 10/10.

As a Californian I am pretty picky about my Mexican food. This place is legit! The fish tacos were probably the best I've ever had and the blue crab marlin dip is crave worthy, especially with their homemade chips. I cannot wait to come back. Their house hot sauce is also delicious.

We order 2 plates and a bunch of sides. Ended up paying $70... which is crazy. I got the carne asada plate. It was honestly so bland... no flavor at all. I was super disappointed. No seasonings, no nothing. Position wise, it was a pretty big steak. But they weren't so generous on the rice and beans. My husband got the mariachi taco plate and his tacos tasted pretty good. We also ordered a side of rice, beans, salsa & salsa Fresca. I was shocked that my plays didn't come with any salsa, so it's a good thing I did an order of salsa. The salsa wasn't even spicy, it honestly tasted like the Tostitos salsa chip dip. They were very generous with the rice and beans. But they skimp out on the salsa Fresca. Literally was 1 small spoon in an 8oz container. I'm a big lover for Mexican food. Living in the mainland & moving back home, it's difficult to find anything compared to their. But this place idk I didn't really like it :( maybe I need to try it for dine-in and try something else on the menu.

The server won't come to take your order. Not sure how this is handled if you have no phone. They may have menus and drinks written on chalkboard at bar or maybe request a paper menu. She brought us waters with a bottle to refill on our own, plates, cutlery and napkins. Drinks didn't take long and were deliciously concocted. We ordered chips with ahi dip- lots of dip and not enough chips but I'm sure if you asked for more they would acquiesce. Yummy and right flavor not too salty. Also onion rings which were large and plenty in the basket! You had choice of ranch dressing or brown mustard and we wanted to mix so she said no problem and brought them! Then we had to try the dessert flight which were three cute little prepared sweets of crème Brûlée, strawberry shortcake and a brownie with some type of custard on top. Yum! Ordering was super easy and quick using the QR code to place and pay, which I appreciated. The beermosa itself was refreshing and well done, and I'd absolutely come back just for that. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet expectations. The "crispy" pork ended up being more hard than crunchy--so chewy that after one piece my jaw was sore. I thought maybe it was just me, but my friend agreed it was tough as well. The grilled cheese was also a bit surprising. Instead of the classic buttery, crisp bread with melty cheese inside, the cheese was grilled onto the outside and inside, which left the sandwich lacking that satisfying crunch. The fries were tasty, but for a $7 upgrade, I was hoping for a more generous portion than what arrived on the plate. On a positive note, the staff was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and checked on us a few times during our meal, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really wanted to love the food more, but it fell short this time. That said, I'd still consider coming back for another beermosa and hopefully a better kitchen day next time.
