Love their spicy poke nachos, we normally bike from Waipahu to 604 just to eat their spicy nacho poke. The portion is larger enough to feed two people and the spiciness and flavor is amazing. I love that it served on a bed of crispy one ton pis and drizzled with unagi sauce that enhances the entire flavor. Great location, near the Arizona Memorial. Lots of free parking and the view overlooking the harbor is so relaxing. Service has always been fast and helpful. While you're there try their Cocojito. The refreshing flavors of coconut and mint will have you wanting more. Nice place to spend any time. read more

Say for the longest time ever, waiting n pretty much stared at ny waitress to get her attention but nope she's too busy talking to her colleague... Asked another server but she busted it off and said she will get our waitress for us... she kept talking n nothing happened till 10 mins after... If you are so busy serving the bar customers maybe remain there and not take other tables... another waitress ended up-taking our order as i resting birch face out... What are you ono for? Misoyaki Butterfish! So, I guess whenever I hear the numbers "604", this is the first thing I hear my tummy say: Misoyaki Butterfish! Lol. I've been coming to this area for many years. I used to party with my UH Tsai-ko Football Fan friends back when Colt Brennan was the UH QB and for many years afterward, until COVID took over our lives and the stadium eventually moved to the UH Ching Athletic Field at the Manoa Campus. Curiously, despite using the first-floor restrooms many a time before games -- the restrooms used by military personnel who use the cabanas outside in the adjacent park -- I never once thought to come upstairs to dine at the restaurant. That is, until Mel B. held an informative Yelp event downstairs, reserving the entire section, and I finally got to taste the yummilicious selections here. Since then, I've come for UH football parties, organizational meetings and after-meeting get-togethers and dinners, and dinners with UH football fan friends, Yelp friends, work friends, and friend friends. And you know what? It's always been a good time. The restaurant dining area is upstairs on the second floor. On the mountain side is a substantial bar with seating all around its perimeter. You can sit along the ocean-side edge of the restaurant if you want a naturally spectacular ocean view, at one of the many dining tables of different heights throughout the restaurant, at the bar, or at my fav -- the high-top tables at the opposite end from the bar and off to the side near the stage. My favorite seating arrangement for a small group of two is along the open view wall overlooking the ocean. With a larger group, I like the elevated high-top tables. You can easily have a conversation if your group fits around one of the round tables or you don't mind talking across the short way of the long high-top tables. If you're planning an organizational meeting, however, you'll probably want to schedule it earlier, before the music starts playing and the dinner crowd begins filling the dining area. Popular hip-hop and '80s-'90s music can add quite a bit to the noise level later in the day, and they also have live music at times. The only meetings this place probably won't work well for are ultra-quiet meetings, Zoom meetings, and meetings needing props and a whiteboard. Lol. You can make reservations, but when you call, you'll reach a recorded voicemail and they'll call you back. It's best to call well ahead of time to ensure you have ample time to connect with the restaurant reservationists and get your arrangements squared away. The restaurant restrooms are upstairs near the bar along the opposite corner. There are staircases on either side of the building leading to the second floor, but you'll probably want to walk up the side opposite the bar. Facing the building from the parking lot, take the staircase on the left. Either staircase will lead you upstairs, but depending on which one you use, you might have to walk across the dining area to reach the front reception desk. Dining here is not quiet, but it isn't obnoxiously loud. There are usually tons of ppl dining, sitting, talking, enjoying their time. There's still ample space to walk around easily, especially going to the restroom. The menu features a variety of local Eurasian cuisine, from appetizers to full meals. You'll find popular appetizers like nachos or fries with toppings, fried calamari rings, ahi poke, popcorn chicken, coconut shrimp, spinach artichoke dip, many breakfast selections, sea items including fish & chips, and land items. Note that there is also a pretty famous Bloody Mary on the menu that used to come loaded with all kinds of amazing veggies-fruits, large shrimp, etc. Over the years, that enormous pile of garnishes has become diminutized, and no longer the huge fluffy production it once was. Too bad I never tried it in its heyday. Shucks. My favorite apps are the calamari, poke with chips, coconut shrimp, and spinach artichoke dip. But we all know why I'm really here. MISOYAKI BUTTERFISH! My favorite meal is the misoyaki butterfish, which is served on a pile of sautéed fresh local veggies with a large scoop of yummy white rice. The fish has that familiar, delicious butterfish taste I love, while the sautéed veggies and rice add their own flair and complement the fish nicely. My only complaint? My mom's friend recommended Restaurant 604 so we made a reservation online for 7/21/2026. I saw the ube colada on Yelp but didn't see it on the menu. When the waitress came to take our drink orders, I asked if it was available. She said yes and that they're phasing it out. As an ube lover, I was happy it was still available so of course I ordered it. Though I've never had an ube colada and don't have a point of comparison, R604's version was tasty and I loved the toasted marshmallow. For our entrees, we had the sesame poke, mahi mahi, and clam chowder. I love poke and was excited to try it in HI for the first time! While the portion was generous and the fish was fresh, I can't say it was the best poke I've had. Honestly, I've had better in CA and (surprisingly) MN. I tried both my mom's clam chowder and mahi - good but not amazing. Though we were seated right away and our waitress was friendly, the service itself leaves something to be desired. We waited a long time for the check and we got another patron's card by mistake. To their credit, they called my mom to let her know they had her card and put it in their safe until we could pick it up tomorrow. However, we were in the uber so we're unable to head back. We went to 604 for my cousin's birthday. It was nice to see Kaipo Kapua performing for the evening Sunset dinner. I ordered the taco karaoke and the $6 clams. I also ordered a plantation iced tea. The rest of the table ordered things like the spinach artichoke dip and the prime rib pupus. The wait time was a little longer given it was a busy night but overall the customer service was on point. They knew things were running behind and they did their best to communicate and always keep us in the loop of things. It was nice to be there since I haven't been there in a while. The parking is generous and if you get there just in time you can catch a glimpse of the sunset and the best music from local artists. read more

We had a 5 p.m. reservation for a party of eight and were seated promptly once more than half of our group had arrived, which appears to be their policy for larger parties. Finding parking was easy thanks to their spacious lot, and we were lucky enough to even grab spots near the entrance. The ambiance feels very sports bar-esque, the vibe reminded me a lot of Mai Tai's but with waterfront seating. It's the kind of place that feels geared more toward kicking back with drinks and friends than having a memorable dining experience. The food photographs better than it eats. Presentation was attractive and several dishes looked promising when they arrived at the table, but the flavors never quite matched the visual appeal. Everything was decent enough, yet there wasn't a single dish that made me want to order it again. Our party ordered a variety of dishes, and the total bill came out to about $265 including tip. What really disappointed me was learning that the fish isn't local. My partner is an avid fisherman and asked what fish was being used in the fish and chips. We were told it was swai, which is imported from Southeast Asia and typically served frozen. For a waterfront restaurant in Hawaii that leans into local-style cuisine, that was a letdown. I also ordered the miso butterfish, which happens to be one of my favorite fish dishes. While the preparation itself was decent, I'm fairly certain what I was served was not butterfish. It tasted more like a generic white fish and lacked the rich, buttery texture and flavor that make butterfish so distinctive. Service was also fairly efficient throughout the meal, with the first round of dishes arriving about 30 minutes after we were seated and the remaining meals following shortly after. Overall, I'd recommend Restaurant 604 more for drinks than for dining. The happy hour appears to be a strong draw, and I can absolutely see this being a fun place to meet up with friends, enjoy a few cocktails, watch a game, and take in the waterfront views. If you enjoy the vibe of Mai Tai's, you'll probably enjoy spending time here. Decent place for a meal with a lovely harbor view, especially for sunset. We've been here lately for dinner but also for a private event in their space downstairs. Service is great - friendly and unintrusive. Food is decent - not the best meal on island, but certainly tasty. They often run out of dishes, so don't get your heart set on something until your server can let you know what's unavailable. Went to cash bar and hosted buffet event here too, and the food was very good, a huge variety of local favorites, and the drinks were pretty generous for the price paid. I met a couple of friends for dinner tonight at my suggestion. They are visiting and the view is breath taking. We were able to sit by the water and enjoy the view. It was Pau Hana and the place was hopping. Our server was friendly. We didn't have to ask him for water, he immediately asked what our drink order was in addition to water. My friends ordered their Bloody Mary and I ordered a local brew called Cliff. My friends had been waiting to have a Bloody Mary since they arrived on island and they told me it was worth the wait. I have some food allergies and I told my server right away. He went to the kitchen and one of the options I could have was the Loco Moco. Loco Moco is one of my favorite things to eat. I love kimchi, Taegu and tofu, literally this dish was made for me Mini Kalua Pork Nachos was alright. Most disappointing item of the 3 I ordered. Chips were already soggy when landed on the table. Pork was kinda chunky and hard instead of pull apart soft. Cheese sauce really threw me off, tastes plasticy and did not need to be on there, they should've subbed it with shredded cheese melted on top instead of that sauce. Service is also great! From the host to the server to the bidder and managers! they were all so friendly and professional! I felt taken care of which is exactly they do right! TERRIBLE SERVICE! We should be reimbursed our gratuity and let me tell you why... We had a table of 30 people, they gave away our extra table so when our remaining 5 people came in, guess what they didn't have a place to sit after they TOLD us that we could use that table for our people who were still arriving... And then, she took half of our people's orders, and then took another table's orders... meanwhile we sat there for an hour!!! And half of our table got their food and we STILL HAD NOT EVEN ORDERED YET... She literally was like oh, I'm getting group gratuity so I don't have to give them good service! I should have said something about this waitress when I was there but honestly I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. The view overlooking the harbor is beautiful, but the vibe is more like a bar, from the surf decor to the servers in black tanks & shorts, to the loud music! Live music was great except way too loud. Amplifiers or whatever were louder than the musicians voices which was sad bc they sound so good! Sadder that it was hard to hear each other talk at our table without yelling to each other. Service was slow as you probably guessed with them being busy and seemed short staffed. The food took about the same time as it did to seat us. Altogether we had: Burger - good, charred, but the patty needed seasoning. The fries were really oily, everyone said that at our table. Spicy garlic chicken - pretty good, not too spicy itself but came with jalapeño slices Spring rolls - good, 8 small pieces but $6 remember Chicken katsu - good Loco moco - good Ribeye steak - med rare very tender inside & charred outside. The mash potatoes were too liquidy & didn't taste good Cuban sandwich - very good except the sauce on top throws it off. The owners should really listen to all the negative reviews and keep the sauce on the side! We were double charged for alcohol which took long for the server to correct it. Cashing out took very long period, it seemed like our server was on meal break. The bathroom was clean. Restaurant was clean. They had lots of signs with discount days and deals like kids eat free Sunday 10am - 2pm (may come back for that). Location is easy to find, go all the way right of the Arizona Memorial entrance, restaurant is on the 2nd floor. Throwback: i really loved when it used to be Schooners they had a really good lunch buffet and not loud music. I don't recommend coming on live music nights (Thurs, Fri, Sat) for a nice enjoyable meal or intimate gathering, but good if you like the bar scene. I came here when friends came to visit! It was our college reunion dinner and it's been over 10 years since we graduated but we try to see each other every so often. We tried to choose a place in the middle of us so nobody really traveled too far and I found this place. It's a beautiful location with beautiful views and amazing food. I ended up getting the Ahi Club but with a lettuce wrap and it was delicious! Sadly no oyster shooters and I was talking about getting them since we sat and while we were waiting. My only qualm about this place was the wait. I made reservations. But I checked in about 10 minutes early even though my entire party wasn't there just because they were busy knowing I wouldn't be able to be sat yet. When my entire party did arrive (when it was our scheduled reservation time) it took another 35 minutes past our reso time to get a table. I know I get it. I manage a restaurant so I understand that it was busy, however 20 minutes of us waiting for a table saying it would be ready soon especially when we had someone who was pregnant just standing waiting for our table was a bit disheartening. I think more communication would have been better. However I do recommend this place. This was a perfect lunch spot after our Pearl Harbor tour. The outdoor seating overlooks the water for a wonderful open air view. One of my friends and I have been to the Arizona Memorial, so we decided to let the other 4 see the museum. He & I went to 604 to grab a snack and drinks. We had kalua nachos, their signature bloody mary and beers. The nachos were ok. Too bad they arrived lukewarm. On the other hand, the bloody mary was very good. It was spicy, had nice items on the skewers, and it packed a punch. Regarding the ambiance, its upstairs and very casual here. There is a great view of the harbor and boats. The bar has plenty of seats for guys like us looking for a drink and snack. Angelo was a super nice guy and showed a lot of Aloha. He was the only bartender, and the place was packed. He had to service all the peeps at the bar, as well as make drinks for the restaurant customers. I would definitely return if I was in the area. I have been to this restaurant countless times, and after this experience, I can confidently say the quality of the service and management has gone completely downhill. It was just me and my six-year-old son. We were seated IMMEDIATELY with absolutely no wait. We ordered pancakes, buffalo wings, a CUP of soup, one mimosa, and a nonalcoholic Go With the Flow smoothie. My son's drink and pancakes came out within a reasonable amount of time. My mimosa came out with literally NO juice in it. I asked for juice to be added, and somehow even that took about 10 minutes. Then I waited. And waited. My son is a slow eater, and I watched him finish his entire meal while I still had not received my wings or my cup of soup. THREE separate tables around us were seated AFTER us, received their food, ate, and were finishing their meals while I was still sitting there with nothing. Eventually, the waitress acknowledged it by saying, "I don't know what's taking so long." At this point, I had been waiting OVER AN HOUR for buffalo wings and a cup of soup. The explanation I was repeatedly given was that they were "SUPER BUSY." That excuse honestly made the situation even more ridiculous. If the restaurant was supposedly so overwhelmed that it takes over an hour to bring out wings and a cup of soup, why were we seated immediately? Why were they continuing to seat other tables? And most importantly, why were multiple tables seated AFTER us receiving and finishing their meals before mine even came out? I was still patient and understanding throughout all of this. I wasn't rude, demanding, or causing a scene. When I finally spoke to the manager about the ridiculous wait and lack of service, instead of receiving an apology or even basic accountability, the manager was rude and dismissive. Restaurants get busy. I completely understand that. But "we're super busy" does not explain why one customer waits over an hour while customers seated afterward are served first. That is poor service and poor management. I used to genuinely enjoy coming here and have been here many times with very few issues. Unfortunately, whatever has changed with the new management and staff has seriously degraded this place. Bad service is one thing. Great lunch! Cool vibe with a good mix of military, locals and tourists. Great views of the marina too. Kesiah was very attentive and personable. Didn't like a drink I typically love and she comped it on her own and brought me something else: an amazing Bloody Mary. So yeah. I believe they're the best here. The salmon bombs were fantastic. My chicken katsu was precooked: tender and moist chicken, not too crispy; same as my husband's ahi katsu. Rice and Mac salad also delicious. No room for dessert but did have a look at the cool merch. We went to Harley Davidson early on our vacation. We met the lovely young lady Anela who helped us pick it same items to buy. She went out of her way and provided us a list of local spots to check out. This was one of them. We are forever grateful for her hospitality. We had a wonderful experience at Restaurant 604! The location is beautiful, with a gorgeous waterfront view and a relaxed, open-air Hawaiian atmosphere. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. It was the perfect place to stop for a meal after visiting Pearl Harbor. We loved sitting outside, enjoying the view, and taking in the Hawaiian atmosphere. Definitely recommend Restaurant 604 if you're in the area and looking for great food, friendly service, and a beautiful setting. We would absolutely come back! read more

We loved this place. It provided for a warm, friendly, family environment. Staff was accommodating and friendly. There were food options for everyone. The restaurant was clean. The only concern was we ordered the beef dish and the majority of the pieces were full of excessive amounts of fat. Nothing special about the food. Menu was rather basic and limited. No substitutions allowed. I had an ahi sandwich. Overcooked, dry and very very bland. Fries were crispy. Drink was mostly diluted fruit juice mixer but it was cheap for Honolulu so I wasn't surprised. Not a place that I would recommend. read more

It was my first time being here, after getting invited by a Shipyard coworker. There was tons of parking, a good choice I'd assume if you wanted to watch a game since they have TVs everywhere. The staff was kind, unfortunately didn't get my waitress. My coworker has been here a lot only for the lava flow and Poke Nachos. I got the Ahi Katsu w greens. Personally not worth the price for it. ($27) The sauce paired with it wasn't too bad and had a a hidden wasabi flare that wasn't too over powering. But this portion wasn't filling personally, the katsu itself wasn't addicting for a lack of better word. The rice was absolute hard and I wasn't able to eat it even trying to put some of the sauce to soften it. For the Ahi Poke, that was delicious but $26 was kinda pricey as well. I did like that the chips itself wasn't oily at all and was crispy. The lava flow was my favorite part of my late lunch. Personally, it was one of the best ones I had as I've been to countless places for it. The scenery was nice, I did like over looking a boat pier and seeing the road to ford island. There was a lot of birds since it is an open space restaurant. But please, DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS! read more

Great restaurant with a great view! We came for dinner so we could see the sunset. If you're coming around that time, definitely make reservations, unless you plan on sitting at the bar. We ordered the ahi katsu and the fish tacos. Ahi Katsu was amazing and I loved the hint of wasabi in the katsu sauce. The fish tacos were also yummy but the chips and salsa it came with was pretty bland. The prices were pretty reasonable too and the restaurant had ample parking available. This is a great casual restaurant with a great view and walking distance from Pear Harbor. our party of 4 enjoyed the daily drink specials which were delicious and a great value. the food was good and the portions were large. .
