    epic breakfast burrito

Service is always great! It's all male staff (i believe) but they sit down and actually talk to you as you order:) They also give great recommendations, so don't hesitate to ask! There is outdoor and indoor seating. They have ample seating so the waitlist moves by quick in the morning. Parking is, however, very limited though. The ambiance of the store is quite comfortable, you can also join their Spotify group and add songs to the queue!!! The food is really good and the price is good as well! I recommend anything corned beef hash, the hash brown, and eggs benedict!

This is my favorite place to go for brunch! It's very delicious and I always order their Eggs Benedict with hash browns. Their other menu items are good too but if I want an amazing eggs benedict, I go here. The place is very spacious and also has outdoor seating, it's a cozy setting. The servers there are super chill and nice too so you'll feel right at home! They also come out with the food so fast

This spot offers great value with generous portions and is perfect when you're craving a simple, satisfying breakfast. The service was also a highlight, as everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My favorite dish was actually the Mess. It was loaded with ingredients, hearty, and easily enough to keep you full for hours. The stuffed French toast was another standout. I tried both the banana and blueberry versions, and while both were delicious, the banana was my favorite because it was a bit sweeter and more flavorful. If you're looking for a casual breakfast spot with large portions, friendly service, and reasonable prices, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Crispy corn beef hash was a little burnt. Next time I won't ask for crispy.

The person calling you for the table is the star of the show. He literally yells your name in the parking lot when your table is ready. Great service quick and large portions. It was very busy with a lot of tourists so business is definitely doing great.

We have made it a point to stop here for breakfast on every trip to Oahu. The service, ambience and most especially the food is consistently fantastic!

We decided to visit Sweet E's Cafe on a morning where our power went out due to the storm and it was wet and rainy. Looking for a hearty breakfast meal and hopefully not too many other people out and about we decided to try our luck with Sweet E's Cafe. Well we somehow got lucky with a parking spot out front and an ope table outside. Not realizing how windy and bit chilly it was, our kids were not prepared for that and thankfully our server found us a table inside. They brought small toys for the kids to play with while we ate. I got the spinach and feta omelette with hash browns. The kids got bagel sandwiches which now looking back they could have split. I was quite surprised at how well seasoned and cooked the hash browns were. I think that was my favorite part. I think they omelette could have done with a little more salt or feta, but those hash browns made up for it. The side is very cozy with many pictures hanging on the walls. The place was bustling for most of our time there. Parking is very limited in the lot out front. There is street parking but we couldn't find anything within a decent walking distance. Somehow we lucked out on the second go around.

If you're looking for a breakfast place that has wonderful food and good value for money, Sweet E's Cafe is the place to go. Service: Awesome. We were actually asked about 3 times by 3 different servers if we wanted a different drink besides water, which was ok with us. We appreciated them being very attentive to each table's needs. Food: 10/10. I ordered the Veggie Eggs Benedict and it tasted really good. I liked how the ingredients taste fresh and how the benny complemented very well with the potatoes. I also sampled my brother's fried rice and it was amazing. The Extreme Mess was flavorful too, a little bit on the saltier side for me but my boyfriend enjoyed it. Ambiance: We were seated outside but it was covered and well-ventilated. The place is well-maintained and clean, and has a "local brunch place" vibe which I liked. Parking: We lucked out and got parking at the available space by their lot, around 11am on a Saturday. There's also street parking available.

So yummy!! I got blueberry stuffed French toast and I ended up having to share with my kids because they loved it They got the eggs benny and my son thought it was super yummy And the waffle was devoured. The boys have declared we will be back tomorrow. We cannot wait to hear our name yelled out in the parking lot - best part of our meal! Thank you!!

Banana cream cheese stuffed French toast and Banana pancake with corned beef hash and scrambled eggs
    Jianna I.

Really good, affordable breakfast spot in Honolulu! Much cheaper than any breakfast spot we've been to on our trip, and the portions were very generous! We got the banana cream cheese stuffed French toast - it was not too sweet and very yummy! The banana pancake was lacking in banana flavor, but the corned beef hash was sooo good. Not salty and perfectly crispy. The place didn't seem particularly clean, kind of musty and dingy in the inside seating area, so I'm happy we were sat outside. Would recommend to try if you're in the area!

Thiis is our favorite breakfast place. The food is delicious and the service is superb. Last weekend I had the French toast topped with fruit. Today I had an omelet with ham, mushroom and cheddar. So good!!

Stuffed blueberry cream cheese French toast with fruits on top
    Nhi T.

I had the stuffed blueberry cream cheese French toast with fruits on top. Overall, it was good and delicious. The fruits tasted fresh and the French toast was soft. I enjoyed the cream cheese aspect, but it did make the overall meal taste a bit heavy. The server was nice and provided us with suggestions on what to do on the island. When we left, the server came out to say bye and provided more suggestions. Amazing service. I would rate service a 5 star.

Here's a review from start to finish if you are a tourist. Parking here is a pain. There is a small parking lot that fits 12 cars but probably really 8 or 9. 2 cars are completely boxed in so I am assuming this is staff parking. There is off street parking but it is not easy. Simply drop off someone to get on the list and look for parking. FYI, they won't let you wait inside the restaurant. There is a small shade spot but if it's taken, you're roasting so bring a hat. Inside is nice and cold! We were here for the breakfast menu. They gave the kiddos a plastic cup of toys which was pretty cool to keep them occupied. The waiter was cool, great recommendations and suggestions. Here is what we ordered: 1. Hawaiian Omelet 2. Corn beef hash breakfast burrito 3. Sides of rice and pork for the youngsters. Everything was so darn delicious. I could go on and on about my breakfast burrito but you just have to get it. This is definitely a must go to place during your vacation! Everyone that came in was quoted 10/15 minute wait time lol. We waited around that time but I found it funny. Party of 8? 10/15. Party of 2, 10/15. Funny! Love this place!

    Lisa P.

Worth the wait! But BYOB! The wait was 35 min on a Sunday morning but there is shady spots to chill and the guy yells your name so loudly u can hear it and lots of people leave. We got the everyday breakfast with corned beef hash, over easy eggs and hash-browns add cheese and he added a pancake. I got the Portuguese sausage ans scrambled eggs and buttermilk pancake with added fruit on top. Service is super friendly and food is yummy! Everyone is so nice! I'm happy and full

Coffee and teas. The ones that say "Free refills" on the menu in the pics on Yelp!...

Is Breakfast served all day? Thanks!

They're only open till 2pm, but yes it's a brunch menu all day.

We have our Westie with us. We were wondering if the 'Dogs Allowed' was only for service dogs or all dogs?

Not sure, never noticed any other dogs while we were there.

    Do you take reservations?

When we went it was 8:30 and there was no wait. Once we were done there was a long wait out the door and people waited outside. They were taking names as people showed up and just called them when they were next

Is there a virtual wait list you can join morning of?

There was not one when we were there.

    Is there a kid's menu?

can't remember at the moment, but there prices are pretty reasonable and the quality and service is amazing

    Is this spot still BYOB?

Yes it is as of October '21

Conveniently located near Duke's, there's one outdoor table nearby, but really, just pick up a sandwich and take it to the beach! Staff was very friendly. Plenty of options for sandwiches and salads (and maybe more options, just what I noticed). I got the tuna sandwich and added a slice of pepper jack. I said no mayo or mustard, though I'd probably recommend mayo. There are so many veggies that it needs a little sauce. The veggies make you feel like you're eating something super healthy! There wasn't a ton of tuna in the sandwich, but half was filling enough for me. I'll save the rest for tomorrow.

Skipping this place would be a crime. And prices are very reasonable for what you get. It's a hidden gem, tucked inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort just to the right of Duke's. I've been here many times and have ordered both smoothies and sandwiches. Let me tell you, the bread is incredibly soft, the greens are crisp and fresh, and the protein is ALWAYS tasty. The team works hard to craft your sandwich every time, and I always get a warm "thank you" when I pick mine up (I swear I got into a thank-you battle once, and of course, they won). I highly recommend the tuna sandwich. It's seasoned perfectly and generously filled with tuna. The greens are always piled high. Shredded carrots, spinach leaves, and more sprouts than you'd think possible. It's healthy and DELICIOUS. I usually add avocado, and the sandwich with avocado comes out to $13.75, which is a great deal for Waikiki. Oh! and you get a little skewer of two pineapple slices! It's cute, refreshing, and perfectly ripe every time. The last smoothie I ordered was the Avocado Green Island. It's made with mango, avocado, spinach, banana, greek yogurt, and coconut milk. It's creamy, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. I've also tried their chicken salad sandwich (money!) and my favorite, the Captain Salad. I recommend getting it with Caesar dressing. The brand of ranch they use isn't really my thing. They also have a homemade balsamic vinagarette that sounds amazing. The salad is huge, topped with turkey and generous crumbles of bacon. I'm telling you, they're serving hit after hit after hit at this spot. Go and enjoy ASAP!

This place was just two blocks away, so we braved the November misty rain and consistent wind through the buildings to make it over here. To be fair, this seemed more like a Vietnamese coffee joint and a Banh Mi place... so maybe coming here for pho wasn't our best idea. They had two kinds available that night-- beef and chicken. Since chicken pho is not something I'm willing to try, we both ordered up the dac biet. The broth was bland with a thin and unpleasant veil of grease along the top that congealed quickly on the rim of the bowl. It wasn't hot enough, or maybe the pre-cooked and chilled noodle block they poured it over cooled it off. Meat was chewy and low quality. The sprouts and basil were soggy and wilted. Honestly, it was a get up and leave kind of thing. The whole place was just dingy and didn't feel great. The matcha itself was on the lighter side compared to richer ceremonial matchas, but it was still smooth, well-balanced, and not at all astringent. They're also slapping down some of the best local Hawaiian ingredients into these here sanguines. The pesto itself was mac-nut based, which was intriguing. I'll be honest, I couldn't taste the difference between that and a pine nut pesto, but it was friggin delish pesto either way. The only downside I can think of is that the bread here lands somewhere between "ok" and "good". I've never had a bread quite like it, but it reminds me of a mix between an artisanal white bread, and a painini bread that you would find in Italy.
