    acai bowl
    Keilab A.

Such a lovely cafe in Waikiki! You order at the counter and find seating inside or out, then pick up your food at the counter when it's ready. The service is excellent and the staff are all so friendly. I shared the açaí bowl and wagyu loco moco. I enjoyed their açaí bowl and thought their loco moco was good but not great. They also have a plethora of other breakfast items that sounded delish, and it was getting pretty busy right around 8:30/9am.

"Here's Looking at you kid". Our son is a Junior at University of Hawai'i at Mānoa and a regular at this neighborhood gem. He just had to bring us here during our visit to Honolulu, Hawai'i as his favorite breakfast place. This strip mall corner shop has easy parking next to Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach, easy walking distance from the hotels and beach---well worth the short walk. The coffee and cappuccino is excellent! You counter order as you get to Bogart's which has a pretty extensive menu offerings from Hawai'ian Waffle with coconut cream and bananas, scrambles, Acacia bowls and bagels. I ordered the Michael's Veggie Omelet with grilled mushrooms, asparagus, and onions with a side of chicken apple sausage; my son got this favorite Acacia bowl with bananas, strawberries, peanut butter and sprinkle of chocolate (I enjoyed a spoonful!---really great!"; his girlfriend ordered the Hawaiian Waffle and my wife ordered the everything bagel, eggs, avocado and what she couldn't finished our college age son wolfed it down! This is a bright, friendly, amble seating for us and several families with babies when we visited (at least 4). Short line to place our order and our offerings were ready in a few minutes, hot/cold, satisfying & Delicious! Great place for locals and visitors alike. Mahalo!

Bogart's has been around foreverrrrrr and they're still just as yummy. Located in a small shopping plaza off Monsterat, you'll have to be patient for a parking spot to open up, but people are constantly leaving and coming. The cafe itself is at the far right end with inside dining and an outside patio area with some seating. Order at the counter and they will give you a buzzer when your food is ready. Service is fast and food is so yummy! The perfect stop for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!

We got a lift to take us here from our hotel. For breakfast, there was very limited seating so you just have to watch for an empty table to become available. Keep in mind, they don't clean up the tables so you kinda have to do it yourself. You order in the front first, then get your food at your table. I ordered the Kahlúa pork and onion omelette with rice. You can choose seasoned potatoes, but I love Hawaiian white rice. The presentation of my plate was nice and clean. I really enjoyed each bite of my omelette and the rice. Great flavor. They have a condiment station with soy sauce and Sriracha, which is exactly what I needed for my plate. I also ordered a latte which was very good and even had a heart on top. My husband ordered the açai bowl and it was very fresh and was a very nice presentation. It was a perfect meal before we walked to diamond head. So if you're thinking about doing the hike you should definitely stop here. The Employee was very welcoming and personable too. At the end, I asked for it to go cover a copy and he was on it right away.

Definitely a must try! Lots of tourists. You have to order your food/drinks at the counter. Self seating. You'll get a buzzer to let you know that your food is ready. You'll pick up your food near the register. There's a condiment station. When you're finished eating, there's a station near the front door to place your dishes. The food is shareable. Big portions. Very good, tasty. I liked what I ordered. The coffee cups are big, that's a plus. Water is self serve. Parking is limited. There's a small parking lot or street parking.

Absolutely amazing place! Busy, but got a table quick! Pork adobo fried rice was killa' and the benedicts were a huge hit!! Staff is super friendly and no doubt we will come back!

Amazing food and very reasonable prices! Best quick meal on the island. 5 stars all the way!

Came here for a mandatory post-hike acai bowl! Such a refreshing reward! * Parking: Storefront lot available, but stalls are limited and the spaces fill up quickly at peak hours! * Ambiance: The inside was small, but there's also outdoor seating available (some seats are directly under a tree so be careful of bird droppings!). Inside there's self-serve water and also a coffee station to customize your drink! * Service: Visited during breakfast and it was very busy, but we got our order in a reasonable time! No complaints here. * Food/Drink: I got the island acai bowl. For the most part, it was a pretty standard, but the one thing that stood out to me was the massive pile of coconut flakes which i LOVED. My husband got the bogart's loco moco. The meat patty was juicy and flavorful, but the gravy with mushrooms and onions had to be the best part! Would come here again if I'm in the area!

taro banana pancake strawberry guava bagel with macadamia nut pesto cream cheese
    Bellody C.

Unique offerings with self service seating! You can expect a line on the weekend. The taro banana pancake was yummy with actual chunks of taro on top. I can only imagine how good the ube pancakes are - they were sold out by the time we got there. I also got the strawberry guava bagel with macadamia nut pesto cream cheese. This combo was super unique. I do wish the bagel was bigger because i got hungry within the next hour or two. The macadamia nut is subtle but pairs perfectly with the pesto cream cheese.

I've been coming here for many years. It's has a great menu with tons of options. I almost always get a breakfast bagel Sandwhich, because it's affordable and delicious. The service is always top notch, very friendly and accommodating as well. It has enough seating inside and outside. Be careful outside under the tree, you may get extra cream in your coffee from perched birds. It adds to the fun. The açaí bowl is also worth getting, very fresh and enjoyable. This is a place my family and I keep coming back too.

Another local favorite - definitely recommend the taro vans pancakes and any of their açaí bowls. Parking is rough and they can get crowded during peak meal time (especially on the weekend), but makes a great stop before or after hiking Diamond Head. Would definitely come back!

Is parking available? Good for takeout?

There is a small lot and street parking. Yes, takeout is as yummy as dine in!

    Can we make reservations?

It's a small and very busy restaurant. I would assume that the setup would not be in the best interest of the restaurant to take reservations. You could order ahead and pickup your food when you get there.

    Why not opening for dinner?

    Is this under new ownership?

Why are there no prices on your menu? Why so secretive?

go to the website, then click on the menu...the prices are there. One price for cash and another for card payments.

    Is there a bathroom?

Aloha Gigi, We have separate men’s and women’s bathrooms for our customers. We look forward to…

I usually get my usual, eggs Benedict, pancakes or adobo fried rice. What else is something that I MUST try?

Switch it up and get Mama's fried rice! It's amazing. I also recommend trying their Nutella waffles!

How's the belgian waffles here? Nice and cripsy outside, soft inside?

Yes it is, exactly like that, you can ask for more whipped cream too. They give enough Nutella so it's perfect.

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The Duck Confit was yummy! I thought the duck was going to be super dry, but when you eat it with the jam that came with it, it's very good. I requested for a little bit more of the jam but was given just balsamic glaze... My friend said her scallop risotto was watery and not the same as the last time she went. My bfs prime rib was okay. Bone marrow was okay. The chicken pasta, octopus appetizer, salad, and mac n cheese were lacking flavor and tasted okay. I would recommend dining here if you do not have plans after.
