Hours are 1130a till 300p; then 400p to 800p, daily except for Tuesdays...when they're closed. It's been awhile since I last dined at Morey's. It's in Diamond Head so there is a beachy / surfer's vibe. The dining room is huge ( to the left of the front counter ), open space with large windows providing a nice mix of natural light and breeziness. I got a Double Teriyaki Burger for $10...can't beat that price. Excellent. Walked in and ordered takeaway...waited around 10-12 minutes. I just grabbed a macchiato from ARS Cafe, so that was fine by me. The have combos which include fries and a canned drink for an additional $4. My mom and I came here on a Friday morning and it wasn't busy. It took awhile for us to get our food. There were people that came after us and they got their food before us. A quiet, lovely cafe that has a homey feeling from the first step inside. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They care about customer service. Holy moly! We tried the Double Teri burger today, it was delish! Lots of teri sauce on top of 2 smash burger patties layered with thinly sliced onions. Dare I say it's one of the best fried rice on the island? I love coming here for their signature Morey's fried rice and will either get the Portuguese sausage or garlic shrimp add on. My husband ordered the scrambled egg plate that comes with a side salad, 2 hash browns, and pancakes. There was a waitlist but we got seated almost immediately. It's a cute little place. I haven't been here in a while but the food was just as good as I remember it. There's a small lot on the side of the restaurant but it's a shared lot with the yoga studio so parking is pretty full. Tried Cafe Morey's for lunch for the first time. I was glad to see they have a small parking lot right next to the restaurant--super convenient on a busy, high-traffic street where parking is limited. I ordered the Morey's fried rice with garlic shrimp and a sunny-side-up egg, along with a glass of their classic lemonade. The fried rice was very flavorful. The only downside was that the dish pictured on the menu (what i ordered) didn't clearly show that the shrimp and egg were add-ons for an extra charge, which I didn't realize until ordering. Pancakes were very fluffy and cream topping sweet and a bit tangy. Again, very tasty but $22 seems a bit pricey. The atmosphere is nice. Open air, cafe vibe in a nice neighborhood. Also, very comfortable to sit and enjoy a relaxing breakfast and beverage. The service was good however, I did have to flag someone to get a refill on my coffee. Parking can be a little tough. Went on a whim and decided to try their smash burgers! Friendly staff and no line with a welcoming atmosphere. Ordered 3 burgers, 2 double and 1 double Teri! They were delicious! The sauce on the Teri burger was perfect. Not too sweet! We all enjoyed our burgers and our son would like to go back before they close tonight for another one! We are always looking for dog friendly options and this place is so great! It's open air dining, and very spacious. They are so accommodating to dogs - we had two with us, and they brought two bowls of water for them. The food was very tasty. We actually ordered 4 fried rice plates, and they were so good. I loved that you can customize the fried rice by asking not to include certain vegetables or ingredients. It was full and there was a short line. We will definitely be back! A cute hidden gem I found when I took the wrong turn heading back to Waikīkī. I've been on Monsarrat Avenue before but I don't recall seeing Cafe Morey's. The restaurant is painted with bright yellow, pink, teal colors. It's nice, fun with a cheery vibes. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and pointed to an empty table for 2. I'm happy it wasn't by the open window. It was a little windy and a couple of birds flew in. The arrangement is pretty open. It's casual and it feels like very touristy. It's close to diamond head and Waikiki. My friend ordered Morey's breakfast plate. He got scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, hash browns, pancakes, and mixed fresh fruits. It's a typical breakfast plate but the fruits on the side added a refreshing touch! I love fruits. It had papaya, pineapple, orange, banana, strawberry and blueberry. He also tried their vanilla freeze. There was hardly any taste of coffee but the vanilla was definitely all over it. I got Morey's breakfast plate. I got over medium eggs, crispy bacon, hash browns, baguette French toast, side order spam and mixed fresh fruits. I also tried their café mocha. It's light with flavors but it's not bad. We're not sure if our server was Pani but one of the waitress said she was new and was not sure of her name. She was nowhere to be found on our way to check out. She checked in on us a few times to see how we were doing. Thank you, Pani :) She was friendly, nice and attentive. They give you the bill and you walk up the counter to pay. Come and check them out. There's a few spots of stalls you can park, maybe 3-4 stalls. Otherwise you'll have to find parking on the street. They are open Wednesday to Monday from 8:00 to 1:00 pm and close on Tuesday. My first time here and it was delicious! I had the Haupia cream w/ Banana & Mac Nut (nuts on the side) "Famous" pancakes. Loved it! So light, airy and fluffy...and the Haupia cream was delicious. The banana brûlée on top was just as delicious. My cousin had the Morey's Breakfast plate that she enjoyed too. We also had the Coconut Lemonade Frozen. Just the right amount of tartness and a touch of coconut on the back end. Yummy! I ended up taking half of my pancakes home and shared it for dessert after dinner. It feels pretty open air with a good amount of windows and colorful walls. There are a couple of tables so it can get crowded around brunch. Cafe Morey's is a must stop when in Oahu! The restaurant itself is so light and airy, you really get to appreciate where you are. I ordered the Maki special and it was SUCH a good bang for your buck; a large serving of fried rice, garlic shrimp, eggs any style, and a little açaí bowl on the side. The fried rice and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The shrimp was garlicky and plump - so good! The eggs, which I got scrambled, were also cooked perfectly (I HATE dry eggs, these stayed moist and fluffy). Lastly, I was so excited for the little açaí bowl side - so much more unique than a side of fruit, and it was even topped with fruit and granola! Every single time we go, we HAVE to stop at Cafe Morey's for yummy food. It's a really nice and comfy place. It's close to a big hill called Diamond Head. The food is the best part! Oh my gosh, their pancakes are so super good! You have to try the passion fruit coconut ones - they're like a sweet cloud. And if you're brave, get the kimchi fried rice or the garlic butter fries. They are so tasty and special! Everything we eat there is made with love. But the most special thing is the people who work there. Our favorite is Irelynn. She is the sweetest girl ever! She always has a big smile and is so nice to talk to. She makes our visit even more fun! If you're in Hawaii and want yummy food and a happy place, you should totally go to Cafe Morey's. read more

Cafe Moreys is truly a staple to me for Oahu. The service is always amazing. Depending on the day, be prepared for a wait but don't be discouraged by the line. They get people in fairly quick. The cafe is warm filled with pinks, yellows, and blues as well as large open windows. It's close to diamond head so if you've just explored there this is a good after hike place. But it's also close to Honolulu so only a short drive away. (Or walk through kapi'olani park) Their drinks are always fresh, and delicious. (Both alcoholic and non) and they have so many wonderful food options. I truly recommend ordering pancakes off the kids menu as they come shaped out as a turtle. The food is great to do either single plate or family style. If you can't stop for food they have a cute gift shop of sorts to purchase a teeshirt, key chain, or a bag. The rice was very oily. Our food took about 20-25 minutes to come out which I thought was a little long. I do like that they give refills on the iced coffee. If they ever make another remake of "The Birds", they may want to use this bright, open-window cafe for the opening shot because I don't think I've ever seen such a persistent set of sparrows congregated in one spot. I was getting ready for Tippi Hedren to come in with a bandage wrapped around her head, but they weren't on attack mode, just looking for leftovers. Jamie W. and I noticed how popular this place was on our walk back from Diamond Head, so we came back to try it ourselves. As we expected, there was a wait for a table, about fifteen minutes. The breakfast menu was quite appetizing with pancakes, French toast, eggs, and yes, salads.
