2 monthly specials for Feb 2026
    Steven N.

Walked in with no res, got sat right away. me and wife got the monthly specials, one benedict and one french toast. Food was mid-par, service was bare minimum. your usual "what would you like" "here's your food" "here's the check" and boom auto grad 20% on the bill after that. NEARLY $100 FOR BREAKFAST THAT DIDNT AMAZE ME NOR WAS THE SERVICE GOOD?! I don't know what these other reviews are talking about, maybe i'm not a millionaire like the rest of these reviewers but $100 for bread, fruit, salad, and a little piece of meat... Will never come back. To be fair me and wife was talking in Japanese, so they must of assumed Japanese people don't tip and put auto grad on only Japanese peoples bills? i'm sure that's pretty illegal as well. Overall, food was mid, service is mid, Ambiance is nice, Restaurant billing system is in gray area of legality.... do I recommend to come here? only if you're a millionaire and not Japanese. Absurd

    Strawberry soufflé pancakes

My husband and I came here for breakfast, we were impressed because we had immediately been sat. We ordered the strawberry soufflé pancakes and the banana soufflé pancakes, a small plate of bacon and an orange juice. The bacon was COLD. AND THE BILL WAS $96!!!! NINETY SIX DOLLARS! For breakfast!! For 2 people!! Did the math the total of our food was $60!! But the waitress said that 20% gratuity was added on and hawaii state tax. $12 tip? $14 state tax? We havent paid that much at any restaurant when there were 4 of us and we have been here for 7 days already. BS! Find a different place to eat unless you dont mind paying $100 for mediocre pancakes. EDIT: went to dinner and got an actual receipt (not handwritten) where it shows the tax, tax is ~4% and paid $1.88 in tax on a $40 bill.

Banana rum caramel French toast and poached eggs

Third visit here, still wonderful. It was early, so no line, which was nice. The banana French toast with rum caramel was delicious. The French toast was fluffy and none of it was undersoaked and dry or overcooked. The caramel sauce was beautiful and there were enough banana slices to make it nice without being overwhelming. The service was great, as always. On my phone map app, it did not mention that they do take tap to pay but they do

Very cute breakfast/brunch spot with cottage village aesthetics. I came on a Friday morning with 5 others. We entered through the front arch, walked down the cobblestone, up the stairs, and waited in front of the sliding doors. Someone greeted us at the doors and brought us inside to the long center table. We ordered the Rum Caramel French Toast, Blueberry Lemon Souffle Pancakes, and Original Souffle Pancakes to share as a group. Between my bf and I, we ordered the Burgundy Beef Stew Omelet Rice to share. The french toast was fluffy, soft, and yummy. The pancakes were also very fluffy and bouncy. Flavor wise, they tasted more eggy than pancake. I thought they would taste like regular pancakes but "fluffier" or airy. However, this was my first time trying souffle pancakes, so I didn't really know what to expect. The beef stew omelet rice was good. Flavor and portion size were good. The beef was tender and wasn't super chewy. Overall, we had a good experience here. It was definitely expensive with each pancake being about $30. I think it was good to try once.

Got the strawberry souffle and an omlette. The souffle was light, fluffy, yet filling and delicious. The omlette was above average. Wouldve liked it to be a bit more savory. Overall it is a bit pricey but what blew me away most was the ambiance of the place! Truly a cottage like vibe despite being near/in Waikiki. Personally to me that was worth the visit to this place! Definitely recommend if u havent been before

This is such a cute spot for a couples luncheon or girls brunch imho. The service was great and we had no wait time which surprised us. The parking is validated if you use the lot connected to the hotel/restaurant. The food was delicious. Our small group had the amazingly delicious strawberry soufflé pancakes, a savory crepe with chicken and then the Hawaiian Benedict. We also had two flavored coffees and one basic coffee, all were delicious. It had very cute French flair meets shabby chic decor which we found charming. Happily will return again.

I was randomly walking when I came upon cream pot. It can be easily overlooked. It's a cute breakfast spot! I've been wanting soufflé pancakes for a while. The ones at cream pot did not disappoint. I ordered the Vietnamese-style cream pot blend iced coffee before heading out. I love coffee, and this one hit the spot.

Let me just start off by saying, WOW! We loved our experience here. The staff were so kind, personable and were quick to ask how we were doing. We ordered the soufflé mixed berry pancakes and of course, they were delicious! "OFF THE WALL" was 1,000/10! The bread was so soft and the poached egg was cooked to perfection! The maples bacon on top was a perfect thickness and tons of flavor. The French onion soup was piping hot and a good side dish. The beef stew omelet was different, but we liked it! Inside the omelets is rice! The vinaigrette on the salad was really good, too. There's plenty of seating, a cozy feel and floor to ceiling windows!

Where Soufflé Pancakes originated! So fluffy, jiggly and creamy. Yummm

I came for the original Soufflé Pancakes and they did not disappoint! Although many might think they are from Japan, Chef Nathan Tran from Cream Pot created these fluffy delights. Cream Pot is tucked away in a small shopping area of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel. Once you enter the door, you're transported to a fairy tale tea house with plushy cushions on antique chairs, cherubs on the walls, charming chandeliers and an elf-sized door leading to the kitchen. Chef Tran and his cute pups greeted us right away and seated us. A server brought out water and a picture menu. I already knew what I wanted! Hubby wanted to try the mint lemonade. I saw the citrus spritzer next to it in the picture, so thought I'd try that. We both enjoyed those beverages, but I also got the Kona coffee, which was quite weak and disappointing. We ordered the Maguro Eggs Benedict and Mixed Berries Soufflé Pancakes to share. I was hoping the savory dish would come out first, but the pancakes did. We dug right in anyway and loved the lightness and creaminess. I would've liked a little more berries, though. I have never seen or heard of raw tuna served as eggs Benedict on crispy rice rather than muffins and it was pretty much sushi with poached eggs. Lol! The salad and all the ingredients were fresh and went well together. We were very pleased with our light and delicious breakfast, minus the coffee. The servers were incredibly attentive and friendly, checking on us frequently. Note that they automatically add gratuity when they deliver the bill, even for a part of two. Some folks might not appreciate that, but we were fine with the service and amount.

Very cute breakfast spot. Kind of gave me of Bridgerton and tea party vibes. The food was good but over priced for me. I believe they are known for their soufflé pancakes, which were very good. I had the not so traditional egg Benedict Maguro (Ahi carpaccio, rice cakes, avocado, shiso, daikon sprouts, poached eggs with orange miso shoyu sauce with tuna and crispy rice as the base) that was $23.50 and a strawberry orange juice, which was about 6-7 bucks. The Maguro was a little salty for me but still good. I think it is pricey for the serving size and should be adjusted. The staff were very friendly and tentative.

Extremely disappointing experience. The service was awful, and the prices were outrageously high for what we received. We waited around 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and even then there was barely any follow-up or attention. We had to ask multiple times just to get water. What really crossed the line was that $20 was added as a tip without our consent, which is unacceptable. For breakfast at these prices, the experience was nowhere near worth it. I was not satisfied at all and would never recommend this place. Honestly, I wish Yelp allowed a zero-star rating.

    Cranberry Lemonade (yummy)

It was my buddy's birthday and she wanted to go back to this homey little eatery. The owner, Nathan, always gives us a welcoming greeting, as do his two adorable doggies, who were halfway between greeting us and returning to their cozy blanket. We were seated outside on the terrace where we ordered our food, which started with two hot café Viennas topped with fresh whipped cream, for two of us, and a very cold iced tea. My friends ordered the rolled omelette, one with meat and the other without. I had the most incredible, lighter-than-air lemon/lime soufflé pancakes, surrounded by berries and topped with fresh whipped cream. By the time everyone had a sample from my plate and I demolished it in 5 minutes I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It also felt like I hadn't eaten anything, so anyone who wants to cut down on heavy food, try these fluffy, weightless clouds of goodness.

    So cute!

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. My fiance won a gift card actually 2 of them (from his coworker whom could not get a reservation secured), we knew we had to make the trip over before they officially close. We had multiple dishes, but staff made Kauai prawns and tomato miso black cod dishes on the house since they ran out the Hokkaido scallops. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. If you have a chance to dine here before closing and got a reservation, definitely will have a lovely dining experience and your stomach will be full by end of the night.

The staff were friendly and very helpful with giving us recommendations. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees, and honestly it was too much food for us. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day! - For appetizers we got: Ulu Tots, Japanese Eggplant, and Corn Beignets. The Corn Beignets was the best. - For entree we got: Tomato Miso Black Cod and the Short Rib. Both were delicious and worth a try. Sad to see that this restaurant appears to be closing.
