Let me start with the chocolate hazelnut martini...it's is the BEST $8.50 I've ever spent in my life. The barista took her time and drew a beautiful hibiscus flower with the chocolate syrup! Such attention to detail really made the drink and service feel personable and special. The ube waffle is the best ube anything I've ever experienced. I'm a big ube sweet potato fan so I'm always looking for ube inspired items and it's a let down. Not here! They captured the flavor perfectly!!! Yogur is Yo'grrrreat'! Small parking lot on site and street metered parking also available.
This is the first time back to YogurStory since they moved into the old Likelike Drive-in. I know, I'm slow. I should've been back earlier. First of all, their menu is huge! You're going to find something you'll like AND it's a great place to bring your picky eaters. Next, they just started an automated ordering system using a tablet at each table (great for introverts). Don't be intimidated by the technology, there's a button to press for personal service! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The restaurant is big and spacious but it does get very crowded. We were lucky to get seated right away on a Saturday but we were there before 8am. The crabcake benedict was great. The egg was perfectly poached. There's nothing more insulting to an eggs benedict than a hard egg yolk. The crabcake was huge and tasty. Winner! I did wish there was more hollandaise sauce. But, I'll live. I would definitely go back, but if there was a long wait... I dunno...
Sweet, Savory, and Reliably Good When you're looking for a brunch spot with an equal assortment of sweet AND savory options, YogurStory is a great place to go. They are popular, so expect a wait. You can join their waitlist through the Yelp link right on this page. You'll get a text and can track your place in line. Depending on how far away you are, it's smart to sign in before heading over so you can shorten your wait once you arrive. The food is reliably good. No major showstoppers, but you'll leave satisfied, and the food usually comes out pretty quickly. The short rib loco moco, kim chee fried rice, and any of their waffles are sure winners. My only gripe is the parking. The lot isn't really big enough for the size of the restaurant, and the stalls are super tight. Come hungry, join the waitlist early, and prepare to suck it in when you open your car door.
We got here at 2:25 PM, five minutes before their kitchen closed for a short break, and we had to make some speedy decisions. We initially decided to split an entree since we were going to eat an early dinner in a few hours. However, we settled on ordering one sweet and one savory dish to share. UBE PANCAKES - 16.50 The ube pancakes are YogurStory's iconic specialty, with a velvety, deep-purple ube coconut sauce completely covering the Okinawan sweet potato pancakes, flowing abundantly on the plate. We almost didn't order these because I thought they were going to be too sweet and probably just an Instagram gimmick, but my friend insisted since it's what they're known for. These were incredible and definitely not too sweet. I could not get enough of that ube coconut sauce. I made sure each bite of pancake I had was completely smothered with it. The pancakes were also soft, with a light earthy sweetness from the sweet potatoes. Amazing sweet option, and we'd highly recommend it. PRIME RIB LOCO MOCO - 26.95 We decided to splurge a bit more for the prime rib option, and it was completely worth it. I tried a bit of the gravy, and it had this charred flavor from the prime rib that surprised me. It was incredibly savory! The prime rib was thick and juicy, grilled to medium rare just as we had asked. The platter was huge, and we quietly devoured the whole thing, except for some rice. I'd 100% order this again. Arguably, this was my favorite meal while I was in Hawaii. Both options we ordered couldn't have been more different from each other, yet they were both incredible. They were the best pancakes and best loco moco I've eaten, and I genuinely cannot tell you which one I liked more. Remember how I said we were going to eat an early dinner after YogurStory? Nope. YogurStory was our last meal in Hawaii because we were incredibly stuffed afterward. We had zero regrets.

It was nothing special compared to the other dishes, and the kalbi was pretty fatty and gummy. Overall, definitely come for the ube pancakes and Steak Fried Rice!
Honestly I have not been to this place since they moved and was resisting to come until today... the food was excellent! Large portion and clean, delicious, not overly salty or oily. The services were prompt and foods came quickly. Nothing to complain about and will definitely return.
Been a while since I've been here and my meal wasn't as good. Same super long wait - 30min for 2 at 1030a on a weekday. Lechon Benedict was not good. Lechon super fatty and gooey. Breakfast croissant was nothing special. Was hoping to upgrade to potato Mac but wasn't allowed. Got greasy onion rings instead. Maybe their staple ube pancake and mocos are still good and worth the glucose and cholesterol boost?
Came here on our last day in HI, for breakfast and the place was packed. I don't know if the parking situation is bad or good because 2 family cars where able to park fairly easy but I don't know if we got lucky. Everything I ate was good but nothing stood out for me. They have a tablet at your table so you can order your food from it. the hostess was friendly and the food runners brought out everything fast.
Very tasty brunch! I come here whenever I have friends visiting Oahu for the Ube Pancakes. They have waffles, pancakes, and French toast! The fried rice is also pretty tasty; it comes with the pork belly oinker (but don't expect the pork belly to be crispy). House potatoes are a must!!!!! I like to dip in the ube sauce for a savory/sweet combo. The wait can get long, but luckily you can join the Yelp waitlist online!
Got the taro pancakes and braised kalbi eggs Benedict with tater tots. Everything was yummy! The wait to be seated was pretty long, but understandable since this place is clearly in high demand. The eggs themselves were a little watery, which was a slight letdown, but the taro pancakes were definitely the highlight for me! SO yummy and easily my favorite part of the meal. The tater tots were perfection. Definitely a must try!
The new ordering screens have made things so much easier and faster! Food was delicious as always. Came out pretty quickly for a busy Saturday. The waitlist took about 45 min but it's so helpful!
The ube pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet but the sauce for me on top is what really made it unique. It was an ube coconut sauce that was delicious! I absolutely loved my taro matcha latte, and while it was fantastic, I think the taro really made it unique so if I come back, I'd love to try the taro latte straight up! I shared a kalua pig loco moco with my brother and I found it to be generously filled with meat. I did wish it came with some type of vegetables side dish but who are we kidding, that's not part of the traditional food! The other party members enjoyed a huge dish of yogurt with plentiful of fruits on top. And also a kalbi egg plate where the kalbi was truly comparable to a traditional Korean dish. Overall we loved the vibe of this place and it had great service. I loved that there were a lot of locals and it felt very Hawaiian!
Came in for a late brunch on Sunday. If you have Yelp you can join the waitlist early as there is a 70-90 minute wait time and last seating is 1430. Parking is very very limited but you can park across the street mall parking garage. The vibe is a bit loud as it is very kid friendly and everyone seems to be here for the Uber Pancake. Ordered: Kalbi & Kimchi Fried Rice: This was ok but not worth coming here for. We just wanted to try it out. The steak was dry and the rice was just colored and nothing in the taste or resembling kimchi. Skip this one as there are way better things to try. BAE: It is good but very fatty. A must try as pork lectin on a muffin with eggs on top. UBE Pancake: Yes yes yes! The best pancake to have anywhere. Rich and buttery and the ube sauce instead of syrup is fire. A must try for anyone. Ube Aloha French Toast: Nothing to die for but it was good as instead of syrup, it is served with the famous UBE Sauce! Come and try it all out as we never leave Hawaii without going here. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and the service is great every time too. It's very busy and I recommend getting on the waitlist about an hour before you plan to arrive if you're going on a weekend, maybe an hour and a half if it's peak brunch hour. Amazing service from Lyn, clean and they give you so much food for the price, plus food waiting times is low. Wife and I devoured the ube pancakes and added blueberries for a little balance and crunch. Omelette was delicious, salad was fresh! No wait at all on a weekday and had no issues with parking as there was a spot right outside. Plus there's a bar for cocktails and mimosas. read more

This has to be my favorite diner that I've ever been to. I gotta say, the ube pancakes are 10000% worth the hype. They are truly delicious. The ube sauce is so well flavored, and the pancakes themselves were perfectly cooked. Yogurstory also has a phenomenal loco moco. We recommend that you get it with kimchi fried rice & the sautéed mushrooms & onions. The mac nut pancakes were very basic, & the pancakes themselves didn't have any mac nut flavor to them. There were almost too many nuts for us, but I recommend if that is what you are looking for. Also, the portions are super generous and well worth the price, in my opinion. We came really early both times (around 8:30am) and did not have to wait for parking or to be seated either time. If you aren't interested in waiting, I recommend getting there early or hopping on the waitlist before you come! The restaurant itself is very cute and chill. This is an absolute must try if you are in Honolulu and love breakfast food! I miss those pancakes already! read more

The ube pancakes are the main reason I keep coming back for breakfast. I always add the extra blueberries because they pair so well with the ube. Even though they look rich and super sweet, they're actually incredibly light and perfectly balanced. They're fluffy, not overly sweet, and I can easily finish the whole stack because they're just that good. I also tried the prime rib loco moco. It was decent, but my prime rib was a little on the tough side. Next time, I'll probably stick with the classic hamburger steak instead. The Denver omelette was amazing, though. It was generously filled, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely something I'd order again. If you're visiting for the first time, the ube pancakes are an absolute must! read more

We had brunch at YogurStory after seeing their ube pancakes online. Wait times can be long, but you can join the waitlist on Yelp ahead of time. The restaurant is located in a relatively busy plaza and parking was a bit difficult to find. Luckily, we arrived just in time to be seated. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere. Service was nice, but we experienced a bit of a delay in getting all of our food. The food was delicious. My favorite dish was the ube pancakes. There is a very generous amount of ube cream smothering the fluffy pancakes. The ube cream was decadent, hearty, and perfectly sweet. You can order extra blueberries, but the standard order will already come with a few. The crab benedicts were also really good as was the loco moco. read more
Review is long overdue. We vacationed in Hawaii around the last week of June and this place was recommended by my friend. It did not disappoint. Steak- delicious, loco moco- amazing, ube French toast - hands down the most incredible French toast! Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water. We went after a recommendation from my cousin. The place is busy but wait time was 15 minutes. Seated quickly and staff are kind. There is a device to order food and pretty efficient. We ordered crab Benedict and ube pancakes. Both were delicious and big portions. We enjoyed our experience there. read more
Been here multiple times. I love their ube pancakes and kalua pig loco moco. The pancakes are huge, warm, and have a rich ube syrup to go on top. The kalua pig loco moco is salty but pairs so well with the eggs and rice. I've had their oinker fried rice as well. Overall their servings are huge and definitely splittable between groups of people. There is lots of seating inside but they tend to have a waitlist. Parking is awful, but it's worth it. read more
The best food we ate on the trip! Had to come twice. The prime rib loco moco is a must! It's delicious and savory and rich with flavor. The Ube pancakes are great too and have good Ube flavor. The kalbi benedict was good too. The kalbi is perfectly cooked and super flavorful. Service is good for how busy they are. There is almost always a wait so be sure to join the waitlist early! I avoided this place for way too long because I thought it was a frozen yogurt shop. Turns out they serve breakfast, lunch, and more. I was seriously impressed by food and service. Went with a group of 10 and we made a reservation a day prior. The portions are huge and absolutely worth the price. Everything we ordered was excellent. It's definitely the kind of meal that makes you want a nap afterward, but it's so good you'll have no regrets. Just know it's popular and busy inside, so expect to park elsewhere and make a reservation ahead of time if you can. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend! read more

Had this place pinned for a while so glad I got to try it! Definitely recommend getting one savory and one sweet to balance out the flavors. The loco Moco sauce was fantastic with its perfect seasoning and mixed in so well with the rice. I enjoyed the quality of the prime rib as well and obviously it's much better than the regular hamburger meats. The ube pancakes were thick,fluffy and moist and they didn't skimp on the ube flavor. Both portions were quite generous. Definitely recommend giving this place a visit! read more
To try and cut down on wait time, add your name to the waitlist! Like most, I came for the ube pancakes but everything was delicious. You'd think the ube pancakes would be too much, but quite the opposite. My group ate every last bite and still crave these pancakes. The eggs benedict was also fantastic. Recently been the brunch place of choice. The prime rib loco moco is legit my favorite breakfast now. The pancakes is a more bouncy than the traditional ones. I'm suspecting there's tapioca flour in there. Anyhow, highly recommend for the food. The service is good, everyone in there is working hard. It's a big place and there's a long line always on weekends. It's a family friendly place with big food portions. Haven't been since they moved to the old like like drive inn location- it's been years and wasn't disappointed in their food. They are super busy so service is ok but don't expect too much attention. They did kept our water glasses filled so we were ok with the service. Kim Chee fried rice - lots of flavor and very filling. A good dish to share! Pork belly oniker - a great dish, loved the dipping sauce that pulled the dish together! The loco moco used to be one of our favorites, but today it just didn't hit the same for me. The gravy definitely had good flavor, but overall it wasn't as yummy as I remember it being. The kalbi was really good--tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the kalbi and waffle, which was good, but at $21, I'm not sure it's worth it. Next time, I'd probably order another option with the kalbi instead. The wait was about 20 minutes, and we did the Yelp check-in. Service was just okay. We had to ask for a water refill, so there wasn't much attention to the table. read more
Scrolling through my recent trip to see if I missed any reviews to be written. How did I not write one for YogurStory? I first discovered them back in February when I was craving ube pancakes. There's a lot of places claiming to offer the best ube pancakes so I thought to give it a try based on the reviews. There was a bit of a wait the first time, where you can join online. But it was too bad. I am SO glad I did because WOW. Wow wow wow! I was NOT expecting the pancakes to taste this freaking good. Don't let all the sauce deceive you into thinking it's just a box pancake mix with a lot of food dye. Also, it appears to be really sweet with it all coated in purple. But, TRUST ME. It was love at first bite. I nearly finished it all by myself but decide to share with the fam. The coconutty sweet potato taste was legit and natural tasting vs covering your tongue in an artificial taste. Absolutely looooooved this that when I went back home in search of Ube pancakes, there was none. So during this trip back for the 4th, I needed to go back for those pancakes. This time, there was no wait. It was around 1:30 on a random Monday and we were seated right away. I already knew what I wanted (obviously) but Hubs read my mind and ordered the short rib kalbi benny (as they were sold out of their corned beef hash). Boy was I glad he did bc "What do you mean I never tried this dish?" There are some favorite go to breakfast places that have been taken over by tourists and long lines which makes me hesitate no matter how much I crave things. But in addition to these ube pancakes and now this short rib Benny, I will gladly wait for them. read more

The food was amazing!!! The show stopper was definitely the UBE PANCAKES :D we shared that between 4 people! Since we all wanted a savory dish too! The food took about 20-30 min but shortly after the service was fast! The seating arrangements allow for big groups/families to enjoy a nice brunch together! Loved that I was able to put myself on the waist list ahead of time via the YELP app bc the wait upon arriving was upwards of 1.5hr!!! read more
Came here on a Wednesday morning at 1030am, and the wait was already pretty long. 15 groups before us that took about 30 minutes to be seated. The space was huge and bright. We ordered bae Benedict (lechon) and breakfast croissant sandwich, both were just ok. The lechon was mainly fats, and the little bit of lean meat was very dry and hard. Nothing special about the sandwich. The fries and onion rings were better. They offer decaf coffee but it's instant coffee instead of brew. I feel this restaurant is more for tourists who want to get the "vibe". read more

Everything is delicious, but the ube pancakes are a MUST! They're so fluffy and that ube sauce is sooo good. Definitely one of my favorites and my daughter's too. My first time trying YogurStory! I know, I know, kind of sad this place has been around for a while. I've heard good things about them, but never actually had a chance to try them until recently. We came here for brunch, and ordered the eggs Benedict. One was the classic eggs Benedict with fried rice. The other was the smoked salmon eggs Benedict with hashbrowns. Food was very good. I was surprised at the quality of the egg Benedict. We had also ordered hot coffee and an iced coffee. Service was a bit slow. Iced coffee was brought out, but nobody brought out my hot coffee. Our food then arrived, but we weren't given any utensils in which to eat it and it took a while to flag down our waitress for us to get utensils as we stared hungrily at our food. Atmosphere is a casual diner type feel, but was clean. Note this place gets busy very quickly. They don't take reservations, but you can put yourself on a waitlist on Yelp which helps cut down on the time you actually have to wait at the restaurant. Food 5/5, service 3/5. read more
We went to YogurStory for breakfast around 8:20 am and shortly after that it got very busy with customers. I had the simple breakfast which included 2 choices of meat, eggs and a starch I ordered bacon, Portuguese sausage, scrambled eggs and hash browns, I thought it would be fresh hash browns from the grill, not pre-made hash browns like McDonald's, even though it was better then McDonald's and it was nice and crispy. My wife had the classic breakfast with 1 choice of meat, egg, and pancakes or French toast she had the pancakes, which she commented I could have made it better? Everyone else around us were eating Ube pancakes, I guess that is the specialty because their pancakes look fluffy as my wife pancakes was pretty flat. Overall the food was good and the service was terrific. As for the restroom the floor wasn't too clean. read more

Yes they moved locations.
Are they open on new year's eve?
I am not sure. However with them only open for breakfast and lunch, I say yes. Just give them a call. They are pretty good at answering their phone.

I don't think so, but they have Yelp waitlist which helps a lot. Believe we only waited 10 mins for our table.

Just means there's no line. You can go there with out waiting.
