This location in particular is quite crowded even on weekdays. The line will die down towards the middle of the afternoon so I would avoid mornings. They offer a bit of indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer a small selection of souvenirs like mugs and honey jars. Pro tip: you can order the food at their wine bar location right next door. Braised beef loco moco- 4/5 Some parts of the braised beef were melt in your mouth tender while other parts were more on the drier side. The gravy is a bit on the blander side in my opinion. Not bad but not the best loco moco I've had. Papaya boat with almond butter & goji berries- Papaya was sweet and refreshing served cold, but heavily doused in almond butter. Ratio was off in my opinion but it was still enjoyable. It felt wasteful to just toss the rest of the almond butter. Perhaps a side of cracker or two papaya halves should be served for the amount of almond butter. Prices were high. $9 for a cup of coffee and all of the food is over $15 each. Island Vintage serves a wide selection of food, coffee and acai bowls at very Hawaiian prices. I do feel there are better places to eat on the island but if you're already in the area and theres no line, I would say go for it. I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for it though.
Despite the temperamental rain and wind, the line of tourists extended outside Island Vintage Coffee, and my friends and I were still down to wait. After ordering, we were fortunately able to grab a table indoors to enjoy our afternoon sweet treats. LILIKO'I MOANA BOWL - 15.25 I really like liliko'i, so I immediately gravitated toward this acai bowl. It was on the smaller side at 16 oz, but topped generously with strawberry, papaya, banana, liliko'i honey, and organic granola. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I did enjoy the variety of fruit toppings! My friend got the mango smoothie, which she thought was fine. Overall, Island Vintage Coffee isn't a bad spot for acai, but I can't say it was my favorite in Waikiki.
This place can get very busy during peak hours. Maybe the best açaí bowl in Waikiki. The waitress recommended the taro bagel and it did not disappoint. It came with a ube frosting and it was something I would order again.
I make sure to stop by this delicious coffee shop every time I'm in Waikiki or in the island at their other locations the aloha from the drinks to the staff was warm and wonderful. A cup of aloha to start off the day before seeing the sunrise on Waikiki beach is simply blissful and amazing

My partner and I came here twice for breakfast on our trip. Both days we were able to get seated as soon as we arrived. The servers and hosts were very friendly and welcoming. For our first meal, we ordered the Braised Beef Loco Moco, the Lox of Bagel, the Cacao Moana Acai Bowl, the Island Latte, and the Acai Smoothie. The braised beef loco moco was delllllish. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The lox of bagel tasted very fresh. I ordered the purple potatoes on the side and wow...they were so sweet and crispy. The island latte was yummy! A little too sweet for my usual coffee order but I was on vacation. Hehe. The cacao moana acai bowl was by far my favorite thing I ordered. Just the presentation alone was awesome. The flower was such a pretty detail. But the flavor, of course, was what brought me back the next day to get it again. Our second meal here we got the Bacon Breakfast Bagel, the Kalua Pork Benedict, the Hawaiian Honey Latte, and the Cacao Moana Acai Bowl (AGAIN). I recommend the Hawaiian Honey Latte over the Island Latte. The Kalua pork benedict was SO GOOD. The pork was very moist and the portion was huge. I will absolutely come back here when I return to Oahu one day :)
Pretty standard coffee shop in Waikiki. It's located upstairs and if you sit on the patio it kind of feels like you're in a treehouse. The strawberry matcha was delicious. I would come back but I feel like the price is quite high, a bit higher than LA prices
We loved Island Vintage Coffee. The location is beautiful, especially the patio overlooking the shopping street. It's such a nice place to sit outside, have coffee, and take a break from walking around Waikiki. We shared the turkey avocado panini with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. I also really liked that they have a full food menu with plenty of good options, so it feels like more than just a coffee stop. The Hawaiian coffee was the standout for me though. It was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Definitely somewhere I would come back to for breakfast, lunch, or coffee.
Visiting for 1 week and I came here 3 times. Ordered the iced island latte all three times! If there's a line, it goes by quickly. Can get pretty busy in the mornings but they will have someone help call out orders when they're ready. Staff is so friendly. If you can't get a table at the cafe, there's a nice outdoor area to enjoy your coffee.
This review is only for Coffee. I was almost hesitant to make the line just for Coffee, but I'm so glad I did. First of all, they have a really efficient operation, so the wait to order was minimal. Then you go to another section to wait for your order and considering the people waiting, it wasn't bad at all. The only thing is it was a little crowded to check out their merchandise and let me tell you. I eyed alot of cute things! I had the Island Latte hot and my daughter had it cold and both were SO GOOD, with Macadamia Nut and a hint of Coconut. Well worth the wait!

I was back on the islands for 10 days-- How many days did I go to island vintage while I was here? 10 DAYS!!! If Japan can have you, so can Vegas!!! Will be looking forward to Island Vintage the next time I visit
TLDR: Long lines even at opening, customizable options but consistently good! Can't say I haven't had authentic acai up until this point. For some reason, I totally forgot that good acai could be found in Hawaii!! Hello!! Its not just the fresh fish ya'll I walked here and there was still a line by 7, and even longer one when I went the next day, but it does move quite fast, especially with some of the workers letting people know they have a sit down resturant next door so just food for thought if you want more actual food options! As it stands they have quite an extensive list of juice, coffee, acai. I decided to go with a more basic route but instead subbing my fruit for what was in season which was mango, lilikoi and lychee. You order at the front and they call your number. They have some seating around as well but if you're at the hawaiian center you can just sit downstairs. The fruit alone was out of this world. I was actually so focused on that I wasn't even thinking about if the acai was good which I think it was! It comes out rather creamy, not frozen or icy. The price is a little steeper than what I've had in the past but honestly the fresh fruit alone made it extremely worth it. A regular sized bowl was quite filling! I came back the next day and it was still just as good. I know some people probably prefer different locations than others but I can rep this one for sure. This place definitely lived up to the hype for us! The line was long but moved pretty fast. The menu is huge so there's going to be something for everyone. Don't sleep on the avocado toast! Our favorite coffee spot in Hawaii! We arrived at 7:30am and the line was already out the door. Thankfully the service was speedy. Here are our favorite recommendations: - Pandan Iced Latte: omg! This drink is da bomb. It was so good I came back the next day to order it. lol - Liliko'i Moana Bowl açaí is a must. We ordered a small and it was large enough to share. - Ube bagel with Ube cream cheese. Wow sooo good! Perfect with our coffee. - Hawaiian Honey Latte is perfect. Not too sweet but a perfect strong balance, I learned hawaiian honey is darker and more complex than regular honey so it's less one-note sweet and more layered. So good! It gets pretty crowded early on so I'd recommend arriving when they open or after 9 am. The ambiance is busy but there is plenty of available seating outside and around the edges near the balcony. read more

I think we came here three or four times during our trip! My bf and I became obsessed with their acai bowls for a late night treat since they close later on! My bf's go-to was the acai bowls with lilikoi honey, which was so phenomenal. I always ordered the acai bowl with pineapple mint sorbet, which was absolutely delicious and so refreshing in the hawaii heat! I also tried the frozen taro drink, which was basically what you can get at any boba shop. Regardless, it was still a delicious drink. The service is super fast and the staff were super friendly. I also loved the way that the cafe was decorated, and how convenient the location was. I miss it already! Absolutely recommend their acai bowls. read more

If you're in Honolulu and Waikiki downtown, this is one of the best places to visit is located in the heart of the city right next to the beach amazing food. The breakfast here is outstanding. The line is pretty huge. The parking is stuff but it's a great place to visit if you can accommodate yourself with all these adjustments the service is pretty good. The limited seating but it's first come first serve so try and grab your bowls it's a pretty super amazing ambience. You can sit outside the people doing yoga and multiple other activities activities in the grass. read more
Located right up the escalators across from H&M. This is a prime location as it is right in the middle of Waikīkī so be prepared to wait in line as this location is usually packed! Delicious all around! Such a fantastic breakfast/brunch spot, and I'd definitely come back. // Smoked Ahi Salad (Ahi is served as a spread!) A great high-protein, lower-carb way to start the day! The salad had a nice variety of colors, textures, and crunch from the pistachios and onions. It also came with a small cup of sweet and savory dressing that tied everything together beautifully. The smoked ahi spread was fresh, flavorful, and not overly fishy. It was served with a slice of freshly toasted garlic bread that was warm, fragrant, and perfectly crisp without being overly toasted. // Wailua Moana Açaí Bowl So refreshing! Easily one of the best açaí bowls we've had. The texture was thick and smooth with a great balance of fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and healthy fats from the nuts. Every bite was delicious. // Matcha We ordered both the regular matcha latte with coconut foam and the strawberry matcha latte. I was so disappointed they no longer offer the lilikoi matcha- I know that flavor combination would've been amazing! Hopefully they bring it back someday. The matcha itself was on the lighter side compared to richer ceremonial matchas, but it was still smooth, well-balanced, and not at all astringent. It paired really well with the oat milk, and both drinks were enjoyable. There was a line out the door during breakfast/brunch hours, which shows just how popular this place is. Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient, and we were able to grab a small table to dine in. It's located on the upper level of the Royal Hawaiian Center, making it a convenient stop while shopping in Waikiki. I love this location because it's not too busy like the strip. This is located inside the mall. You can order online and do a pick up so you don't wait too long. There are only 2 employees here. Their acai bowls and the island vintage coffee are the best. It is pricey, but it never disappoints. read more

Island Vintage Coffee was such a great breakfast spot! I had the Eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious! The portions are definitely large enough to split if you're not super hungry. The coffee was delicious too and paired perfectly with breakfast. It was pretty busy when we visited, but the service was still great. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite the crowd. Great food, great coffee, and great service. Definitely worth a stop for breakfast! read more
We sat at the Island Vintage Wine Bar which had nice nature vibes and the same drink menu from Island Vintage Coffee. Good spot for a nice sit-down meal and/or drinks. I ordered the frozen lava chocolate which was quite good especially on a hot day. It was creamy and sweet. Tried some of the pandan vanilla latte and really enjoyed that too. Island Vintage coffee is good, but needs some improvement in my opinion. We ordered iced lattes and they were both extremely milky. They tasted good, but you can barely taste the coffee. It didn't do the job if you need a caffeine fix. It almost tasted like milk that's been sitting inside of cereal. At this point you shouldn't be allowed to call it a coffee anymore. On the other hand, the açai bowl was pure perfection. The papaya really is a nice touch. Best acai in town in my opinion. They have such a large menu from actual meals to acai bowls, and more. This is a great spot to grab coffee and brunch, but be prepared to wait a bit for your drinks. The line moved quickly when ordering, and the staff was efficient, but the drinks took longer than I expected to come out. The wait was worth it, though. The Lava Mocha is hands down my favorite mocha I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. It was the reason I came back and waited! Mauna Kea Iced Coffee is my FAVORITE coffee of all time. I will be drooling over this coffee until I return. It has coffee, sea salt caramel, a scoop of ice cream, and black sea salt. Already it sounds delicious and it was. I finished my drink within 5 minutes. I didn't order any food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. The menu is extensive with plenty of options, making it a great place for brunch whether you're craving something sweet or savory. The café also has a small section selling Island Vintage merchandise, which is fun to browse while you're waiting. If you choose to sit outside, don't be surprised if a few birds decide to join you for breakfast and they're regulars too.. Overall, despite the longer wait for drinks, the quality of the coffee, inviting atmosphere, and tempting menu make this a spot I'd happily visit again. read more

First time visiting the Island Vintage Wine Bar in Royal Hawn Shopping Center. Went around 5pm for an early dinner. Pesto Chicken Sandwich, Burger and Garlic Shrimp was delicious! Good, healthy breakfast with quick service. The cafe is a takeaway with only a few tables available outside . If you want service at your table, check the wine bar on the side, it's the same menu. Island breakfast and Benedict were both enjoyable, very fresh. The drip coffee so so. The menu has many many options. read more
We came to Island Vintage Coffee twice during our trip and the wait really depends on what time you go. We went around 2 PM one day and there was basically no wait, but when we came back around 8 AM another morning, the line was going out the door. I tried the Hawaiian Honey Latte and loved it! It had a really strong honey flavor, which is exactly what I wanted. It actually reminded me of the kind of coffee I usually try to make at home, so this was definitely my favorite. I also tried the Pandan Latte and thought it was okay. To me, it tasted more like an extra sweet vanilla latte and I didn't get as much pandan flavor as I was hoping for. Between the two, I would definitely get the Hawaiian Honey Latte again! read more
