Sooooo good we kept going back for more! The beast and the brisket tacos are a must! We also loved the grilled banana bread.
This restaurant had a lot of reviews on Google so we decided to try it out since it was close to our Airbnb. We decided to eat here anyway and honestly, I was a little disappointed yes what we ordered was good, but it was very expensive in my opinion for what you get and it did not come with anything else so it was more like a snack and not truly a full meal. Maybe that's on me for not looking at the menu before going but if you want a breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich, there's other places in the area for a cheaper price.
Lots of choices for breakfast around the Marina area, like a kinda ok McDonald's egg McMuffin meal for $7, but you gotta break away and come to this hidden gem! Ordered the Waikiki BEAST breakfast sandwich: I'm stopping to write this after just ONE bite! It's amazing! Likely the BEST breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. And I'm over 60!! Super casual, great friendly, and helpful staff. And totally happy vibe, if you're looking for something a little away from the tourists! Come here now!
After a long night out, you need a good breakfast to fuel you up for the day, and nothing can cure those morning munchies like Munchies n Brunch! A compact menu with many breakfast and brunch favorites, the space inside also had plentiful room for you and other guests. Food came out quick, was tasty and I would like to say very affordable for this portion of Waikīkī. If you're looking for a Hawaiian twist on some breakfast classics, MNB should be your first stop :) service was great and the staff were amazing! 10/10
Came here with friends after a night out and was conveniently located in Waikiki. We street parked across the street and walked. Sunday morning seemed to be moderately busy with a few people already inside eating. There were about 15 tables inside. We ordered at the front then sat down and waited for our food. Drinks came out quickly and food also came out fast too! I tried the matcha drink with marshmallow foam and I liked the foam but wished the matcha was a little stronger. I also had the hangover burrito which I think was the most popular with pulled pork. Burrito was cut in half and was a decent portion! Great flavor and there was a crunch to the burrito that was perfect! The only thing I wish was to be about to add brisket to it!!! Cashier told me that it wouldn't be able to fit, there is an option to switch out the pulled pork for brisket but I chose to stick with the pork. Overall a great place to grab a quick breakfast after a long night! Definitely will be back to try more burritos and their other breakfast options!
The breakfast burrito slaps. I'm from california where we have contending amazing breakfast burritos. Now living in Austin with top notch Mexican food. The breakfast burrito is perfectly wrapped. It does have meat in it, very untraditional for me personally but it was tasty though it can be greasy. The other ingredients were nicely packed in there. I went to look for a breakfast burrito spot and was disappointed in the others that were recommended to me. I would come here again. Cute food truck space at the corner lot of a hotel. Easily accessible and it was fun to eat there.
Located in a cute area with a bunch of other food trucks (although I think it was the only one open at 7AM), I think I might have just gotten my favorite meal of the trip so far. The Hangover burrito was so delicious like that probably would have brought me back to life if I was actually hungover. The provided hot sauce was a really good combo. I'll try to come back here next time I'm in Honolulu.
I picked a pretty interesting place to do in Waikiki, but it was interesting that I picked to do a food truck review to start the new year. So Munch 'N Brunch was an area I thought would be a good place to take a look at, and my expectations were maybe a bit in the middle. After today, I'd say they really delivered in all facets. I ordered their Hangover burrito, and it was very filling. They really did a good job with the presentation, as it looked so inviting to eat at first glance. All the components of the burrito work well together, especially when you eat it with the hot sauce. The flavor hit on all levels I truly didn't expect...salt, smoky, rich, spicy, and they all aren't fighting with one another. All in all though, it was not a bad first-time visit. Next time I plan to visit there, I should try their tacos. Would I recommend going to this food truck? Absolutely. This place gets a 10/10. Very good stuff there.
After needing a morning bite in preparation for a walk to Ala Moana , Munch 'N Brunch served us that and more! We ordered - Queen K.sadilla w/ pulled pork: This fed both my boyfriend and I (which doesn't happen often lol) The perfectly cooked vegetables with pork and cheese pull gave us all we needed to take on a sunny Honolulu day!
We order the horchata iced coffee, jet lag, breakfast burrito, and banana bread. The burrito was delicious packed full and we loved the sauce it came with. The banana bread smelt so good when they were grilling some we had to order. Both coffees were great I liked the horchata best. Jet lag was stronger and my husband enjoyed. Service was friendly and quick. A great food truck!
When I say The Hangover Burrito is the best Burrito I've ever had I'm not exaggerating!! It was incredibly delicious. So flavorful!! So meaty!!!! And just the right portion!! * chef's kiss !! Enough to leave you satisfied and glowing! Seriously guys it is delicious!!!! I was visiting from CA, a good friend recommended it && im forever grateful. Such a great experience with the staff. Very welcoming, patient and enthusiastic at all times!! Cute little vibe I loved the ambience! Definitely recommend and INSIST you all give Munch N Brunch a visit if you can Also tried the Marshmallow Matcha && didnt dissapoint!! Refreshing with a hint of sweet paired w/ my breakfast burrito...pure happiness!

Visiting from LA so I've tried many coffee and burrito spots so please take my review with a grain of salt. The "Jet Lag" Nutella latte was okay. The nutella flavor was really subtle. I really wished there was more to punch up the flavor. It tasted like an ordinary mocha. I ordered the breakfast burrito with no meat. The way the onions were cooked reminded me of in n out sauce. I kinda felt sick after, I think the guacamole may not have been too fresh which caused my tummy to be upset a bit. Overall, for the price point the food was pretty mid. Plus before I walked into the restaurant, a guy told me not to go in and that the food wasn't good so that may have affected my experience. read more

A small cafe with a small curated menu. I walked in and was greeted warmly and able to snag a table. I got the beast sandwich and it was delicious albeit a messy affair. The lilikoi passion fruit lemonade was great. Will come back. Congrats on your grand opening. read more

Tourist here: Do not, I repeat do not go to the chain restaurant or eat at the restaurant in ur hotel for breakfast... this place was soo good... I ordered the ever so popular Waikīkī B.E.A.S.T, and I get the hype... they don't skimp on the meat.. I also got the Jet lag which taste similar to a chocolate milk .. It's located in a food truck lot with plenty of tables around.. when you order they give you a pager to let you know your order is ready in case you happen to sit at one other picnic tables in the area... Was in Hawaii heading to a diff place for breakfast, and passed this place on the way. Well ended up here b/c the first place was packed, but I am so glad we came here. The greetings from the staff were very warm and inviting. The place is casual (as most places in Hawai'i and not very big. After we ordered it becam very busy, so we got there just in time. This place was fairly new and it is only open til like 3p. They serve breakfast/ brunch food. I had a the avacado toast with egg and I asked for the egg to be overmedium and they accomadated that request, b/c it usually comes scrambled. And my coworker had the big b'fast sandwhich, which came with spam and egg. She said it was really good. And we both had a passion fruit lemonade which was so refreshin and good and not overly sweet. So if you find yourself near here, I definitely recommend you stop by it is worth it and resonably priced. The food was really good. I would definitely eat here again whenever I am back in O'ahu read more

Munch and brunch was a food truck that was located by our Airbnb so we decided to pick up some brunch one day during our stay and I was thoroughly impressed! My husband and I ordered the queen k.sadilla (minus bacon and with brisket), lilikoi pancakes, and an ice coffee. Everything was delicious! The quesadilla was so gooey with the cheese and the brisket was a great add on! I'm a spicy food lover so the hot sauce provided complemented it perfectly. The lilikoi pancakes were perfection with the crumble on top--my husband and I couldn't get enough of it! Service here was really warm and friendly! Getting our food took a little bit of time but that was understandable given that they were making our food to order and that there was a decent amount of others there as well. It's located in a block with a bunch of other food trucks and vendors and the entire area has picnic benches for you to enjoy your food. read more
Munch 'N Brunch got me when I was craving a breakfast burrito. If you are looking for other food, there are other options. I got The Queen K.Sadilla: Stuffed Quesadilla ($14.00) and The Hangover: Breakfast Burrito ($18.00). Bad: - Expect to wait for a good time when more than 3-4 groups are in front of you. - The price is a bit expensive. - There is no designated parking lot. Good: - Located near several hotels and an easy walk from any of them. Also, have a 7-Eleven right across. - There are seven food options, so it helps to decide what to get. It can still be challenging, but it's much better now that they are focused on what they are good at! - There is a seating area to eat if you do not want to take it to the hotel. Conclusion: Great location, great staff, and delicious food. It is worth walking, so take a short walk to grab brunch! read more

Absolutelythebeeest I'm a big breakfast connoisseur and this is by far my favorite brunch spot. Everything is spot on from the fun vibes, great friendly service, bomb taste and coffee!!! I love the Mexi-Cali-Ha traditional plates turned into something new and explosive like The Queen K.Sadilla stuffed quesadilla. My absolute favorite thing is the croissant French toast, (I have a big sweet tooth) and I could eat this like everyday. Definitely a must try, 100% recommend visiting! read more

Hubs really liked his tacos...the one with the kim chee. Was pretty tasty. I just don't like corn tortillas unless they are fresh made. He wanted to try one of each, but you can't do that...All 3 need to be same flavor...he was kinda bummed. I got the BEAST. - There was 1 thin and short strip of bacon sitting outside the sandwich. Without realizing that was the entire bacon, I gave to the baby. Oh well. - Egg is fried over hard. Gave the yolk to the baby since I don't like my egg that way and forgot to tell them. No biggie, cuz I got the whites. - Avo good. - SPAM... pretty sure it's not SPAM, but maybe Tulip or Libbys? Or it was sitting in water b/c it was super soft and not SPAM consistency. - Tomato was okay. - The english muffin...the vessel holding it all together...needed to be toasted. It was soft and chewy. Don't know how McDonalds does it...but they can do an english muffin right. Pineapple with Tajin - okay. Hubs liked it. Baby was okay the pineapple. Overall, not terrible, but not the best for the hangover I had. Maybe I shoulda gotten the Hangover burrito, but it just had too much going on. read more
Came here for breakfast on vacay. They were a highly recommended breakfast/brunch place and they did not disappoint. It is an outdoor space so not much comment on ambiance. It was raining hard when we came but they had covered seating for us to eat despite that. We got the Hangover and the K. Sadilla. Food was delicious but a little bit too greasy imo. Tons of umami and you will def leave feeling full. Their iced coffee was also very refreshing. The Nutella addition was a great spin! read more

Heard about the beast breakfast sandwich from a youtube video in which the guy was highlighting best food places to visit in waikiki. And after watching it, I knew I had to try it. Flavor wise it was pretty good. I liked how the egg meshed well with the spam, bacon, and avocado. It was delicious bit after delicious bite. Sadly the name of the sandwich was very misleading. It was beastly in size at all. In fact it was almost the size of a sausage and egg mcmuffin from mcdonalds. And it was expensive too. It was worth it to try but I wont be getting it again. read more

Front entrance has some stairs to walk , small inside, but there is seating on the inside of the venue and outside; walk up to the counter to order. Could be a quick place for to go brunch menu looks good. This will be another brunch spot to try in Waikiki for my group. read more
