    Pork belly carnitas burrito
    Cainan S.

Food: ordered a pork belly carnitas burrito and was blown away. Was sure what to expect from a food truck burrito, but it was very delicious. The rice was so flavorful, pork was nice and fatty, onions for crunch, but the game changer was the fried cheese skirt inside. Probably one of the best burritos I've had on the island. Service: it's actually pretty convenient that you can order from the tablet and pay. Price: it was $17 for the burrito and I'd say it was definitely worth the price for how amazing it tasted. Ambiance: it's a food truck but there's some tables and benches with large umbrellas.

Pastor and barbacoa taco (I recommend tacotote if you like cheese)

This place has some of the best street tacos I've had on island. Ordered pastor and barbacoa tacotote (street tacos w/ cheese, the regular ones don't have) and it's amazing to say the least. Was so impressed I ordered a torta and plate to take home. Honestly have been back many times since and it's so good. Been waiting for the arrabez (pork shoulder w/vinegar) which I actually have dreams about. I do hope they decide to stay with raiz tortillas as I think it really helps to make the taco The owner Sean is a really nice guy and is always working. Super friendly and overall just a nice guy. The unfortunate thing is they are only open till 4 before their kitchen switches to helping Bevy next door. Hope that changes but for now I'll take what I can get.

I went to Tacos De Cacheton for lunch. Imagine how vibrant it is at night. The lights and a great view of the boat harbor. The tacos I ordered, hit the spot. It was served pretty quick and it gave me time to enjoy it before heading back to work.

Happy National Taco Day!! Days like this gets me to my happy place at Tacos de Cacheton where you can find them right along Kewalo Basin Harbor and with lots of free parking just steps away to enjoy your bites with that lovely view. Yes I had to get their tacos which they proudly use Raiz Tortillas which was my question of what it is and apparently are special small batch tortillas that are stone ground and are made in Hawai'i...ahhhhmazing!! Each taco is $4 and to add your choice of Pork Belly, Chicken Tinga or Carne Asada for +$1 and are topped with onion, cilantro and salsa though when I got them additional toppings were different with each (I got the pork belly and chicken Tinga)...chicken had crema I think BUT I did add hot sauce which isn't included but the chicken did have a slight heat for those that may be sensitive but the couple pieces of lime made it all come together magically! The tortilla is incredible as it held it all in perfectly! They do have Burrito, Quesadilla and a Taco Plate as well with Jarritos making it the ultimate experience thoughI do wish they have a veggie option as I love their tacos and the fiery choices of hot sauces making it a place to taco bout it all. Thank you!

The food was amazing! I got the single taco for $5 and the Taco bowl as well. Meat for mines was Al Pastor (SO GOOD) I highly recommend to try them! Very authentic and its full of flavors in one bite. I love that they also sell Coca Cola bottles from Mexico! Good price to buy $2 I think. The service was excellent, it came out pretty quick and it's hot and ready to eat. The employee was nice and sweet. Very helpful! Nice atmosphere to eat out in Honolulu with the lights around. I will be glad to come back again!

Likely, the best tacos Al pastor you can find the area. The barbacoa meat is tender and tasty. The pastor meat is was a bit tough but seasoned nicely and delicious with the pineapple.

It was a nice day to eat outside on the pier. There was a nice breeze and the faint scent of the different cultural food variations cooking. I came after 4:30 on a Friday and not too many people were present. I ordered the Barbacoa Cachete Burrito. The burrito was huge!! It was filled with rice, beans and beef. It had salsa, but I wish it had just a bit more. The rice was nice and fluffy like Spanish rice should be. This burrito will need to be split even for the super hungry or half of it saved for another meal. Definitely coming back here. I am more than satisfied. I am ready for a nap.

Had the three tacos plate. Al pastor, beef cheek, and a kind of vinegary one. Fluffy tasty rice, beans were cooked to a good texture. Of the three tacos, I was least fond of the one with vinegar. I had a mild salsa with it. Of the three, I liked the beef cheek taco. I would definitely have that, again!

3 taco combo and a giant torta

WOW. The best torta I've ever had. We got cachete (beef cheeks I think). The meat was so soft and flavorful, the bread was perfect, and they even grill the cheese on the flat top. We also got the 3 taco combo with chicken tinga, barbacoa, and Lebanese style. All were amazing but the Lebanese was my favorite because it was so unique. I've been to places where rice and beans were an afterthought. Not here. Nothing here is bland. The rice was nice and fluffy, the beans were tasty. Since it's located it the food truck area by the water (ala moana x ward), we caught the sunset.

3 x tacos plate de carne asada

Found this place walking around and had 3 tacos de carne asada with rice and beans, the tacos were delicious, they had a kick with the salsa and if you like spicy this is the right place. The area is super cute, with plenty of area to sit. Service was a 10/10, they gave us a tupperware with water for the doggos while we sat and ate. Will definitely be coming back here.

It was simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious. My son, who's from California and very serious about his Mexican food, said it was the best bean and cheese burrito he's ever had--which is definitely saying something! The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth, and the spicy sauce has the perfect kick with amazing flavor that takes everything to the next level. If you're craving satisfying, authentic-tasting Mexican food, this place is a must. We'll definitely be back!

The crew inside was welcoming, quick, and the meat was on point. They even came outside to check on us. My son is a picky little dude and started picking onions off his chicken quesadilla. I told him to speak up. The guy smiled, said he had it, and brought out a fresh one with no onions. My son crushed it and even used their mild salsa, which is wild because he thinks everything is spicy. My burrito had great flavor and the asada was legit. I even called home for extra orders so everyone could try it. They loved it too. This spot isn't in our usual area, but I'm glad we found it because it's hard to find solid burritos in Hawaii.

Mexican sounded good to everyone so we picked this spot and we're all very happy we did. Our server was kind and attentive. The place was lovely and decorated with just the amount of fun you expect. Some great photo ops in there. He even told us they were having a mariachi band tomorrow and invited us to come back. The food from the start with nachos and salsa to the end with tres leches was all delicious. I ordered the chorizo queso and it was fantastic. My son ordered the guacamole and it was so fresh and limey. Also delicious. My grandkids shared a quesadilla which was definitely large enough to do so with. My oldest grandson ordered a torte and he loved it. Also a generous portion. My son and I both ordered the grande burrito. He got his wet and I didn't. His was served on a plate and mine came wrapped in foil in a basket. I wish it would have also come on a plate. I like to cut it up to eat and the foil made that difficult to do. I enjoyed each item though not my favorite, it's hard to find good Mexican or Hispanic foods here on island. The enchiladas were okay, I prefer shredded chicken over diced. I do have to say it was consistent from this visit from my last. My friend said the fish tacos were huge and good. And then I remembered I actually had them before but they weren't memorable I guess, found the pictures in my phot Lamin from about a year ago. Another friend raved that their nachos are amazing but I didn't try them. Service was pretty quick and the line was easily controlled. Some language barrier, my Spanish for ordering food is minimal at best. It's a street taco spot on the side of the road. You can park at the business parking lot next to it but there is not a lot of real estate. There's a picnic table and couple chairs and tables to sit at in the shade so there isn't really any ambiance to tell you about.
