Third persons order was taken after first person received their order. This continues down the line. This is why you have to wait so long to order here. They seriously need to figure out a new system because if they don't, this will be their downfall. The food is good but I don't think it's worth the wait as mentioned above. Then they were closed for a few days and was going to reopen on a Thursday, which ended up being the day of lockdown 2 on Oahu, and ohana market was now going to close completely, so they decided to open the day before! I went exactly when the marketplace opened and b-lined it to their spot! I scored and was the first in line! Lucky for me, they opened a little earlier than expected so the wait wasn't that bad - I say 40 mins tops! The menu was pretty small. It's either the Birria tacos for 4.50, quesadillas for $5, or the broth for $4. They have all of their lemonades and limeades and they start at $6 each. The limit was 10 tacos and I ended up getting all 10 along with 2 broths and a guava limeade. The total for all of this was a whopping $62. My jaw almost dropped. Lol. They also took orders 2 at a time so that's why the line barely moved. I hope they can find a way to be a little more efficient with this. I think they used maybe a 6" tortilla so it's not super big or super small either. The flavors were good and so was the broth. I really enjoyed the guava limeade that was recommended by the cashier. You can tell they use fresh limes in their drinks. I liked how I ordered too much so it came in two containers with limes and radishes. I can now switch between it and my usual chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. I like his refried beans and rice because the beans retained their texture and we find pieces of onion and potatoes in these side dishes. His salsa can be hit or miss ... No sooner had they parked before a line started forming. Since we already had our bentos, we had to wait for another weekend to see what the buzz was about. Lucky for us, they are regularly there on Saturdays (except if they have a catering gig). So we confirmed their location on Insta, packed up our pup and picnic blanket, and joined the line for some street tacos. I love when a place does one thing and does it mind-blowingly well. That's what you can expect from Dos Jefes--tacos that will blow your mind and your taste buds! Hubby ordered the surf and turf birria taco. Juicy shredded beef, succulent shrimp, and crispy cheese sandwiched between a warm, grilled tortilla. Served with a rich dipping sauce--because it is a birria, after all. It didn't matter to me if the price was kinda steep for two tacos... it was worth it. YUMMMMAYYYY Third Eat the Street...I had to regretfully and sadly walk away from them because I wanted to try the other food trucks that was there.
