Lots of indoor seating and a single stall bathroom available! This spot is on the corner and has lots of sandwich options which can be great on a hot day when you need some AC. I ordered the turkey with pesto and added avocado. The bread was so yummy but it was definitely a more narrow sandwich. I also tried the chicken sandwich which was good but a smaller portion. They were out of fries which sucked... but the staff was very friendly! We ordered chips and a drink anyway. Overall a good place but pretty pricy for size.

They sell east coast subs, burgers and chicken sandwiches. We tried two of their subs and it wasn't bad. We got the classic cheesesteak (top sirloin, white American, cheese whiz, grilled onions and mayo) $19.50 and Earl's cheesesteak (top sirloin, white American, provolone, chipotle sauce, grilled onions and sweet peppers) $19.95. The classic cheesesteak was better. It was moist, had more cheese and was more flavored. The Earl's cheesesteak was dry and we could hardly taste the cheese. They both came in a crisp and toasted baguette. They also had my fave Orange Bang as a fountain drink. You don't see those everyday. We ordered the house drink sweet tea $5.50. It was different. It wasn't the sweet tea that I'm used to. The tea was flavored. It has some kind of floral taste to it. The drinks are refillable. I refilled it with an Orange Bang, which I loved.

Country style chicken sandwich and a daily special cheesesteak

I was craving sandwiches for lunch so we decided to check out Earl. I ordered the country style chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got a cheesesteak that was on the daily specials that day. The chicken sandwich I got was ok, it was a little dry and I wish it had more sauce on it. The cheesesteak sandwich was really good, lots of meat and cheese, and the crispy bread held it all together nicely. We also got a side of waffle fries, which were good; you don't see waffle fries at much places. When we were there, there weren't a lot of people so food came out fairly quickly. Prices aren't too bad either!

Went here with my wife before the beach. I had been craving a sandwich. We ordered a chicken Philly and steak Philly and it just felt like the sandwiches were missing some flavor. It was so close to being good but just wasn't great. I also think the price for a sandwich was a bit much. We spent almost $60 on two sandwiches, two drinks, chips and loaded fries. I'd give 3/5 for the food but for the price 2/5. Way over priced even for Honolulu

My boyfriend recently started working at a barbershop nearby and we have gone to get food here a few times now. Everything we have tried is really good! I love their chicken sandwiches! Like it was a problem at one point.. My personal favorite is the Hot Honey Old Bay and of course you have to get their crispy waffle fries. On another occasion I tried the Italian 12". It was also very good. It was meaty and had all the yummy pickled veggies. And honestly I don't know what I was expecting when it came to the size of the sandwich but it was pretty big. It was my lunch and dinner for the day! I also saw recently on IG that they're gonna start doing combos so I'm excited to go back and check it out soon! PS I'd rather spend my money here and support local instead of a fast food chain that charges the same prices.

Used to be one of the best places to get a decent sandwich but they've taken too many of the goods ones off the menu, like the turkey jam sam. Also, they don't allow you to build your own sandwiches which deters me from going there for a sandwich. Their prices have also gotten pretty pricey. Oddly enough, the other items on the menu like their chicken burgers and waffle cut fries are tasty. I'm so happy they added Orange Bang to their fountain drinks but I must say it's pretty diluted/watered down.

EARL Kakaako is my go-to spot for a quick, delicious sandwich or burger. Although they're known for their sandwiches, I always get the Earl Single burger, which is melty and full of their flavorful EARL sauce. I love their crispy Waffle Fries and their unique house made ketchup. Vibe: There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I love bringing my dog with me! The workers are nice and the service is very fast. They also have a bathroom inside the restaurant. Parking: There's street parking around the area, but typically it's hard to find a stall during busy hours.

Ordered delivery for a party and got the hot honey old bay. Wowww why is everything there so delicious?! Amazing flavor profile, not too spicy but added depth. Huge juicy piece of chicken breaded to perfection *drool*! Super filling. Coworkers got the sub sandwiches which looked huge, delicious, and packed to the max!!

With a few locations around the island, we decided to try the Kakaako location. This sandwich shop is located across from SALT Kakaako and dry bar. There is street parking around or parking in the SALT or H-Mart structures if you want to check out those locations too. The sandwich place itself is a decent size with a few tables and a counter on the other side of the tables. There is a menu above the counter with the sandwich options. There are chicken sandwiches, vegetarian ones, and other options. The person working was kind and patient as we decided on which sandwiches to get. We ended up ordering the caprese and chipotle chicken cheesesteak. The sandwiches were a bit pricey with both ranging about $15-17. It took a bit for the sandwiches to come out but they were a pretty good size. There was a good amount of meat in the cheesesteak and the flavors were balanced. The meat, cheese, and peppers melded well. The caprese was good as well with a lot of lettuce. We did not finish our sandwiches and ended up taking about half of each back home. It was overall a good experience and we will hopefully be back to try other sandwiches.

I come here definitely way too often, but I love these sandwiches and I wouldn't say there is anywhere else quite like it after ili ili stopped their subs. Prices range from $13 single patty burgers and $11 chicken sandwiches to $15 to $22 other sandwiches. My favorite are the not so secret secret menu or when they have specials. The special have ranged from a garlic bread chicken Parmesan, 3 kings aka chicken 3 ways (red, white, and pesto) to the ever missed French dip. You can either order online or by calling. They're even on uber eats and gift cards sold at Costco!

    Reuben- garlicky goodness

Went to Earl's today. Of course it's during the ONE TIME they don't have any special sandwiches going on. I got a Reuben and waffle fries. Idk if they make their pastrami in house or what but it's the softest pastrami I've ever had, literally melts in your mouth. It's also on a semolina baguette, I love semolina on my bread but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea so just keep that in mind when you order to ask for what bread it's on. The toppings were really good but I feel like there were bites where the toppings were unevenly distributed. Like sometimes I'd get a bite of just sauerkraut which isn't very pleasant lol. Waffle fries were fine but definitely not freshly cooked to order. A little old and stale tasting unfortunately. My fiance got the hot honey old bay chicken sandwich, and it was STILL super crunchy almost an hour later. Definitely more honey than hot but that herb mayo they make is fricking bomb omg. Best fried chicken on the island, and they have other options if hot honey isn't your fav. The music was way too loud when we went in lol I thought live music was playing. But the booths were very very clean! Check out their insta @earlhawaii for their specials!!! They sell out of them fast sometimes so go early!

I decided to go with a friend to try out this place that's been talked about. We parked around the area, there are plenty of parking garages in the area. We got the Earl Cheese Steak and a hot chicken sandwich. The Cheese Steak was very bland, and didn't have any seasoning or salt on it, it seemed. Considering the price, I think spices are necessary. I did enjoy the chicken sandwich very much, as it was crispy and had a delicious sauce and seasoning. I would come back just for the chicken sandwich. I will say that the lady taking our order was rude. She never welcomed us and seemed to have a bad attitude. After ordering our food, she didn't even say anything, it was very unwelcoming and made me uncomfortable.

Thanks Mr. E.A.R.L. - placed my order online. Went to pickup and some faux "dasher" stole my food. They said he ran in & just grabbed the bag. Mr. E.A.R.L. confirmed & remade my order. Now I am happy happy with my Cubano, Italiano & my waffle fries. Thanks, that made my day after being soaked by rain all morning. Great service & nice to see the owner there working with his staff.

Po Boy, Italian, Turkey, and an array of waffle fries!

Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I've been here multiple times for lunch and had multiple different items. The acai bowl are good. I like getting the Nalu salad which is always a decent serving and tastes fresh. The sandwiches are also pretty tasty. My main issue is the service. I'm not sure if part of their training is to ignore the customer as much as possible because that has been my experience on multiple occasions. The most recent visit, I had ordered online and was going to pick up m food for takeout. There were three workers at the front just talking. I walked to the counter and was ignored. I could see where the orders are placed and didn't see anything there so figured my order wasn't ready yet. I stood on the side for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgement. Not a single person made eye contact with me. When I saw an order placed on the back counter one of them grabbed it and placed it on the takeout counter without calling out the name and went back to chatting. I had to actively try to get their attention at which point I was looked at like I was bothering them. Asked if my order was ready and was handed it without any further interaction. I don't expect happy go lucky people and conversation but at least basic customer service.

Bocconcino is the perfect place to indulge in all the Italian delicacies I've missed, from meats and cheeses to pizza, sandwiches, beer, and wine. The pizza is spectacular, especially the Margherita. And I was surprised by the wine prices. I picked up a bottle of Pinot Grigio from Friuli for $15, and they provided glasses and a bucket of ice with no corkage fee. I can't wait to try more things here, especially the pizza al taglio, which has always been my favorite snack in Italy. The atmosphere is fun and casual. Seating is limited, but the communal tables make it easy to sit with others and maybe make a few new friends. Service is very friendly and professional. Ci tornerò presto!

I have been meaning to come here for a long time though still have not. I had my brother go and…read morepick up an order of Il Bolognese panini and Salsiccia & Funghi pizza. My brother said the ordering process was ok in the shop but you have to go outside to wait for them to call your name. The Il Bolognese panini had a slight crunch to the crust. The bread was of good quality and the fillings were good though I couldn't really taste the pistachio which is my only complaint. The fungi pizza used the same bread as the panini and it was good also with clumps of melted cheese, sausage, and mushrooms. I would like to try their Neapolitan pizza next time but this was a filling slice. I can see why people have been raving about this place to get good Italian food and I'll be back, this time in person!

Just got off an office diet challenge where we ate no carbs for three months and after our diet…read morechallenge the entire office knew we wanted to LIL G'S!! Nothing like eating huge sandwiches and the best pizza around! Our office orders takeout frequently from little g's and we absolutely love it here! We usually have place our order a few days in advance to secure our order for the day we want. They do run out fast so it is safer to place the order in advance too. You can order online but after a certain amount it requires you to phone in your order. I didn't grab a picture of everyone's food but this was the two sandwiches I got! The chicken parm is incredible stacked with 3-4 pieces of chicken parm and their red sauce with mozzarella served hot. The Italian has three different meat with cheese and lettuce and bell peppers served cold. These were served with a different grained bread which was a lil different than what we are used to but still really great! Service here is always great and food is always mind blowing with their large portions and fresh ingredients!

Legit pizza by the slice - excellent cheese slice which is the best way to judge pizza. The crust…read moreis a little less blistered than some places but is solid, great bite, foldable, served on classic NY white paper plates with wavy rim. They have some creative other slices like vodka sauce with pesto etc which are tasty but if you're a pizza purist and lover you can't go wrong with two cheese slices. There aren't much frills so you can have water or soda from their mini fridge. Almost like going to a corner pizza place in the city. Sandwiches available sometimes. We go early for lunch on Sundays and grab a seat outside. The proprietor was especially kind and friendly to my FIL and I appreciated that. Overall this is the second best NY style pizza place after black shamrock by a small margin - the Jersey pie at shamrock with its awesome sauce and perfect crust is hard to beat but don't think you can order it by the slice. So very very close.
