Great little spot with amazingly service. It made me so happy to see a giant red cup for my soda instead of somebody coming out with a cup of ice in a can. Thank you for having fountain drinks. I hate to go on about it, but it's annoying when people have cans and they charge you like four bucks. The big red cup is enough to satisfy thirsty folks like me. A little 12 ounce can is not. So let's see, we got the special which was a French toast. I got to say, giant portions and everything was real tasty. That's actually something that should be called on. The prices is very good for the amount of food you get. I was very happy with this place overall with that. My kid got the ube pancake which she was really happy about it because it's basically like having a slice of cake because it's so big and deliciously sweet I got the sampler cause I couldn't decide but in retrospect, I probably would have gotten the seafood Benedict. After experiencing bad customer service from Eggs N' Things in Kapolei. We decided to give Guieb Cafe a chance. Although it was a 25 minute drive, we would probably wait that much anyways waiting for someone to acknowledge us over at Eggs N Things. Anyways the minute we walked we were greeted right away by a server and told us we can sit in any of the open tables. Servers were friendly and very attentive. We ordered the Da Local Omelette, the Longsilog and I had the ube mascarpone with french toast. Everything was delicious! I didnt get to taste the omelette since my daughter devoured it within a few minutes. I'm taking that as a sign that it was good. I was able to taste the longsilog with the fried rice and it was tasty as well. I might have to tey that next time. The Ube Mascarpone did not disappoint. Very creamy and the right amount of sweetness. Although I coulndt finish it, I did finish the rest when I got home. And while we were eating I noticed that place got full and busy right away. A family came in and a server approcahed them and told them they might have to wait for a few minutes since all the table were full. And guess what? Since the family's presence was acknowledged, the family actually waited outside. See that eggs n things? People actually wait as long as you acknowledge them! Local favorite- food smash! It was a small quaint location which fills up very quickly but has phenomenal friendly service. We tried the house favorites which included the Ube taste for the French toast plate. My best friend says his favorite is the steak breakfast as the cut is perfect and taste is perfect. Mom got a kapuna serving size and she was joyful to the Spanish sausage which was new to her taste buds. This was my first try at Guieb Cafe in Pearlridge. We decided to try a different breakfast place and the Yelp reviews looked promising. This place is a lot smaller than expected. I can imagine a long wait list during primetime hours. Menu selection offers mainly popular classic dishes with a local twist. The added touch of a lovely purple orchid is definitely a plus!!! We put our name on the list and chatted outside for a bit (no place to sit, FYI) and our name was called reasonably fast - it's not a huge space but the tables turned over quickly. We ordered one weet and one savory dish and shared both. Ube French toast and the prime rib loco moco. I'm not a huge loco moco fan because I don't like runny eggs, but they were open to doing scrambled on top instead! Super glad because it was delicious. Seasoned well without being a salt bomb and the gravy was perfectly umami. The ube French toast was also good - not overly sweet and came with extra ube sauce on the side. Coffee was just okay - serviceable, but you're coming here for the food, not the coffee. Service was friendly and warm with just the right amount of checking on us. Ngl after the hype I've heard of this place this fell short. We ordered takeout being in the area and figured why not. I got the poi mochi waffles and a side hash browns. The portions of the food was super small with the waffle thin and the coconut sauce watered down and then almost dissolving into the waffle. For the taste I neither got poi nor mochi from that and it tasted just like any rich waffle. Hash brown itself was small as hell in fact smaller than anna millers iykyk. Now did it do anything for me, no it was alright but for $5 that was insane. For the price of everything we had roughly $50 I was seriously disappointed. Just stumbled upon this restaurant on IG and it did not disappoint. This specific place is fairly small so expect a wait. I dont think this place can fit parties larger than 6. But the food was amazing. One of, if not, the best adobo fried rice omlettes I've ever had. And I love the home made corned beef hash. My college classmate recommended meeting at Guieb Cafe for lunch. The restaurant is located on the left side of the complex as you enter Harbor Center. Unfortunately, it was raining and I parked closer to Ige's catering space (which is further into the parking lot from Guieb). We met at the entrance to Guieb and opened the door and realized that it's a small space. I signed in at the cashier counter and was told that they'd call me when a table was open, so we waited outside. We didn't wait long, and were seated in the middle of the restaurant. There were about 8 tables inside. The server brought us water and menus. We ordered corned beef hash with eggs, prime rib loco moco, Ube Mascarpone pancakes and Ube Haupia French Toast. We didn't wait long for our food. The corned beef hash was tasty, but I wished that the fresh corned beef was chopped a bit more (instead of long strands of meat). It would be easier to eat. One of my classmates ordered the Ube pancakes for everyone to try. It was delicious (sweet, but not overly sweet). The tables are rather small, so with 5 plates, plus our Christmas presents, it was a tight fit. The small space is a bit noisy, but we were able to have a nice conversation. Visited this past Saturday around 10 am. Wait was about 25 min for 2 people since seating indoor was limited. Maybe 5-6 tables? Counter seating limited to 5 as well. Parked in the harbor center parking lot which is a rather large lot free for customers. I found parking easily at 10 am, but when we left around noon, people were circling the front for parking. Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick. Especially with the smaller space, it's not a place you'd want to sit and chat in for a few hours. But definitely great for a quick meal (minus the wait times!) We ordered the ube mascarpone pancakes, corned beef hash and eggs, and adobo fried rice omelette. Ube pancakes were amazing- literally to die for. 3 pancakes stacked. We shared it as a side to our main dishes but we nearly finished the whole thing. Corned beef hash with eggs was good! Hard to find places that have real chunky corned beef and not canned or mainly filler hash. I also subbed the rice for the garlic rice which was nice and light, not too strong. Amazing breakfast spot featuring Filipino flavors. The ube pancakes were absolutely perfect - fluffy pancakes and an amazing ube mascarpone sauce that wasn't overly sweet. The adobo fried rice and longanisa were the perfect complement to a sweet entree. The oxtail soup is a bit different from Hawaiian style oxtail soup, but still offers lots of meat. The best and unexpected part was they offer a 15% discount for happy hour from 12:30-2:30pm! But after my fourth time dining in, I KNEW that it's officially my favorite brunch place, reminding me of my own home/favorite home-made breakfast foods. Every time I come to Guieb, I ALWAYS get the Longsilog and try a different type of sweet treat. The longsilog at Guieb is SO yummy and reminds me of how my family prepares Longsilog back home (yes, even with the Garlic Rice!). This dish will never ever disappoint--maybe I'm a little biased since it's my favorite dish, but definitely try it if you haven't already! This time around, my best friend and I shared the Ube Marscapone pancakes and THEY WERE SO GOOD! The Ube pancakes were the PERFECT amount of fluff AND the Ube Marscapone sauce was just so amazing with it.
