I never really ate in here because the wait was always too long for me. But you know a place is good when the line is always long. It is quite small in there but they really maximize their space with the bar. The food was great. You can tell they make the food to order so everything is nice and fresh! We got the ube haupia French toast, the crab cake Benedict and the bansilog. I think I enjoyed the carb cake Benedict the most with the sweet potato fries. They make the food very aesthetic with the cute flower. Although it took us a little while to figure out what we wanted, the ladies were super nice and didn't rush us. It was a great experience overall.

Overall, really really wanted to love this place but I feel like I could go to other breakfast places nearby to get quicker, cheaper & better food.
Found this hole in the wall gem and my family and I were so thankful we tried this spot! We loved it so much we stopped here to get food to take with us on the airplane back to the mainland! The spot is small and can accomodate a small amount of people so be prepared to wait or you can place an order to go. If you want your food to go just give them a call first so that you're food is ready when you get there! Here's what we tried and we HIGHLY REC all of these dishes! The fried chicken was AMAZING! So crispy and juicy and flavorful! The mash and gravy was a great side that came with the chicken as well. The chicken and waffles were soooo delish and I highly rec upgrading the plate to the ube waffles! Last but not least the prime rib loco moco was mouth watering and so good! The prime rib was HUGE!!! If you want this dish make sure you go in the morning because they do run out!!! Next time we're on Oahu we're def hitting up Guieb again!!!

Had the chicken and waffles which were great. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The waffles were a little soggy even when they came out fresh. Pancakes were a little dryer than normal but still tasted good. Definitely good idea to come early or else you'll have to wait.
Gueib Cafe is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a solid local breakfast spot. It is an intimate restaurant so I would recommend coming early or between the breakfast and lunch rush if you want to avoid waiting, although they do offer takeout. We only waited a couple of minutes for a table and our food came out in about 15 minutes. Every employee we interacted with from our server to the bussers were friendly and welcoming. The ribeye loco moco was the highlight (they were out of the prime rib). They give you a FULL SIZED ribeye (maybe 10oz?) instead of a small piece of steak like how they do with a hamburger patty or two, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered mine medium, but it unfortunately came out very well done. Thankfully, the rich gravy, perfectly cooked eggs, and the $3 pork adobo fried rice upgrade more than made up for it. That fried rice alone is worth ordering. We also shared the chicken and waffles, and the fried chicken was seasoned really well with a great crunch without being overly breaded. My only "complaint" other than the steak temp was that it came with honey but no syrup. I understand the choice, but I wish they at least offered syrup on the side (granted I didn't ask for any). Our bill for the ribeye loco moco and chicken and waffles was around $55, which felt fair for Hawaii especially when you get an entire ribeye. I will definitely be back to try the prime rib loco moco!
Service was good and we didn't have to wait for a table which was a bonus! My adobo fried rice was really good and my grandson had us eat in so he could have his flight.
Been a while since we've return but wanted the Ube Pancake-craving for it and it's the only restaurant that has the best; everything else is just a copycat. I'm surprised the place has new furniture that accommodates larger group-perfect for families. The people are so locally friendly and has that Aloha spirit. Highly recommended!!! Just make sure when you do come, come not so hungry coz it's so popular that the wait is a bit longer but worth it.
Coming in they welcome you. At the moment it was not busy. We were able to pick our seat table or counter. I luv that they have the recommended items. They marked it in their menu. I enjoyed the Ube pancakes, rib eye locomoco and we had to try a Filipino Loganisa breakfast. Rib eye was cooked perfect and the size was good for two if you eat regular portions. The Ube mascarpone butter was out of this world. The restaurant looks clean and spaced out as much as they could. Restroom was in the back of the building and surprisingly very clean and well maintained.
When we got there wasn't expecting it to be busy which was good, but place feels cramped so we ordered take out. I'd suggest ordering ahead of time. I ordered the Adobe fried rice omelet 16$ with an add on of lechon kawali 3$. We were told that they can bring our order outside so we waited about 20minutes or so and we received our food. At first glance food looked amazing, ok portion size, when I ate the Adobe fried rice it was noticeably salty. The lechon kawali was very good though. Overall it was just ok for me.

Been curious about this place since it opened and today I finally got to try their breakfast. They are located right at the entrance of the shops behind Cutter Ford. It was early around 8:00am, and parking was kinda full already. There's lots of stalls so you shouldn't have a hard time finding parking. The restaurant is in a small space and it was full. Maybe 6 tables total and 4 counter seats. We signed in and waited outside for a table. After a short 10-15 minute wait, our table was ready. They have a wide variety of breakfast items, local and Filipino dishes. I went with the traditional eggs Benedict and my daughter got the Portuguese sausage, waffles and eggs over easy. The best part of our breakfast was the adorable young male server. I didn't catch his name, but he was very genuine and kept checking on us. He definitely tried his best to be a great server. My Eggs Benedict was ok. Usually it has Canadian bacon, but theirs are 'ham' slices you use for sandwiches, like the cold cut kind. Kinda disappointing but it tasted good. The poached eggs were done perfectly and it tasted good. I got it with arugula salad and there were a few pieces which were old and discolored. I just put them on the side.1 My daughter said her waffles were ok and her Portuguese sausage and over easy eggs were good.
The staff is extremely friendly and we're able to be seated promptly once we waited our turn. The local moco was very homie and very freshly tasting, and the pancake was Ube flavored and the Ube mascarpone was sweet, which paired well with the dense pancake.
Food is AMAZING. Good service. Great prices. Be sure to get there early as this place is popular

The food and service quality were excellent! The 3 Bite Feast was just perfect, offering ideal portions of everything I wanted to try. It actually gets super crowded, which I totally didn't expect for a Monday! There's a mix of tourists and locals, which is awesome for this spot. I'm definitely coming back for those ube pancakes; they're absolutely amazing! read more
Before heading to the stadium, I wanted to try Guieb. I had seen it in Vegas and thought, why not try it while in Hawaii? It's been rated #1 for brunch a couple of times, so I had to see what the hype was about! We came in and the place was packed!Service was fast and friendly, which was definitely a plus. We ordered the adobo omelette with lechon kawali, and I got a custom omelette with Portuguese sausage, salad, and mushrooms. Honestly, I thought it was just okay. But hey, it seems to be doing something right because the place was full of patrons! Overall, glad I tried it, but it wasn't a wow for me. read more

I wish I could say better things, but the picture was prettier than Da Bite, pun intended. There was a long wait as we entered and exited the cafe, and multiple awards covered the walls. Everything looked appealing and appetizing to the eye, but we were met with disappointment on multiple dishes. With Da Bite, you get a flight of three smaller portions of entrees: 1) the waygu loco moco meat was overcooked and the gravy was just salty; 2) crab benedict was more breading than crab so once you bit in, it was quite mealy underneath the initial crunch. The lack of crab could easily go unnoticed when smothered in sauce. 3) Ube pancakes with ube marscapone... the marscapone was delicious, but the pancakes lacked fluff and moisture. The kids pancakes also had the similar spongey dry texture and my nephew chose to only eat half the portion. We also had the Longsilog, which is a sweet sausage, but it was overly sweet for my taste. All in all, the food was just all right for the hype. Maybe we would've enjoyed it better if we hadn't already experienced better versions of similar menu items that set the bar earlier on the trip. read more

First come, first serve for five people or less. We're fortunate to have the last unoccupied table. Highly recommend calling restaurant to make reservations if it's for six or more people. Mom loved the simplicity and freshness of belgian waffles. Son enjoyed generous three stack of oreo cheesecake pancakes. He said it wasn't too sweet. Amazingly delicious crab cakes benedict! Loved how the yolks flowed freely after piercing eggs benedict. Crab cakes, hollandaise sauce, paprika, avocado, and English muffins integrated perfectly with each other. Yummy, crisp sweet potato fries complemented the remaining yolk and sweet, tangy ketchup. Colorful plates, beautiful presentation and delicious meals made a huge difference. Attentive, helpful, quick, efficient, and friendly staff. Quaint ambiance. AC working well. Limited seats are quickly occupied with dine in customers. Turn around times seem fast. Amazing customer service from the lady that answered the phone to take my order and when I got there the two ladies that helped me! Very fast, friendly, and efficient. Treated me like family!!! Cooks in the back went the extra mile too, to fold the fruits INTO my pancakes! Wow. Atmosphere was very inviting and clean. Great job is an understatement! Guieb Cafe everyone knows the food is always so Ono. But now you know the Aiea staff is bomb! A little bit extra love goes a long way. Will definitely continue to support! read more
First stop on the island was pretty spot on service and food. The ube French toast and adobo omelette with spam was ALOHA. It's a small establishment so you have to wait outside til they call you. I would return for more good eats. read more
Everything was solid. Very friendly staff and very diverse menu with so many options. Food came out very quickly and presented well. The waffles were pretty standard but the haupia sauce (added ube mascarpone sauce) made it perfect without being too sweet. The star was da three bite feast. We can definitely tell that these are the top sellers because each one tasted amazing and the perfect go-to if you want a mix of sweet a savory. The pancakes were very soft and not too sweet since the sauce was drizzled on. The crab cake benedict was very crispy and better than we expected! The waygu loco moco had gravy that was nice and smooth. Definitely our new favorite go-to on the menu. The only down side is that the location is small but we came early so we had no problems getting a seat. read more

Thank you for being open on Thanksgiving Day! We did a take out just so we can eat at home and watch Macy's Parade on TV. Big portion and you can definitely share. Ube pancake was on the drier side but it came with whipped Ube cream topping so make sure you spread generously. Da Local omelette was definitely packed with lots of local proteins with sweet potato fries. That was different. read more

Guieb Cafe has several locations on O'ahu and this was my first time trying out this location. We visited this establishment as part of a group and service was great! We had to wait a bit to be seated, but it was worth the wait. This location is smaller and has less seating available than the Wahiawa location. The food was served hot and fresh, and it was delicious as usual. Highly recommend! 15 photos should be included with this review. read more
When I heard about the Ube pancakes, I had to have them. It's a tiny unassuming restaurant, what might be perceived as a hole-in-the-wall, but a hidden gem. It was a full house for breakfast, so we sat at the counter. My daughter and I shared the pancakes. Beautiful Ube and mascarpone, Deliciously purple fluffy pancakes. A flavor sensation. There's a reason the wait is over an hour on a weekend morning -- Guieb Cafe might be small, but showcases beautiful, ono food that'll make the wait worth it! Not to mention, the staff are so kind and gracious, even when the atmosphere is packed. My friends and I had such a hard time deciding what to pick, but I got the Ube Marscapone pancakes, and I don't regret it. They were delicious, fluffy, and HUGE! Easy on the eyes and stomach. :) Parking is great, it's in a neighborhood of warehouse-like structures, and free if you're going for brunch, I'd recommend going early, but worth a try every time! read more
This is the kind of neighborhood breakfast spot you want to- friendly service with great food! This hidden gem is tucked away in the Harbor Center, unassuming spot is always welcoming like visiting grandma's house and always serving up the best food! I love going there for our breakfast date. My fave is veggie omelet...love that everything in the details with the little garnish and an orchid on every plate Check it out. You'll be thanking me later And they will remember you by name like an old friend. Love them!! read more

Solid breakfast/brunch joint with great food and friendly service. Met a friend here for brunch because I'd wanted to try it for months. We put our name on the list and chatted outside for a bit (no place to sit, FYI) and our name was called reasonably fast - it's not a huge space but the tables turned over quickly. We ordered one weet and one savory dish and shared both. Ube French toast and the prime rib loco moco. I'm not a huge loco moco fan because I don't like runny eggs, but they were open to doing scrambled on top instead! Super glad because it was delicious. Seasoned well without being a salt bomb and the gravy was perfectly umami. The ube French toast was also good - not overly sweet and came with extra ube sauce on the side. Coffee was just okay - serviceable, but you're coming here for the food, not the coffee. Service was friendly and warm with just the right amount of checking on us. Parking is in the lots surrounding - no dedicated spaces for Guieb (that I saw) but be mindful that some other establishments reserve the spaces right in front of their doors for their own customers. read more

I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered the waffles to go, and by the time I got them, they were completely ruined. They were packaged in a way that trapped all the heat and steam inside the container, causing condensation to build up. Instead of being crispy, the waffles were wet, soggy, and mushy. The entire texture was lost, making them very unappetizing. The Ube sauce had a strange plastic-like aftertaste. It didn't taste fresh or like real ube at all. I ate one bite and that was it. For the price, I expected much better quality and packaging. If you're planning to order takeout, I would strongly advise against it. The packaging clearly isn't designed to keep waffles crisp, and it completely ruins the product. I was looking forward to this meal and ended up wasting my money because the waffles were inedible by the time I opened the container. I won't be ordering waffles to go from here again unless they change their packaging. This experience was extremely disappointing. read more

Omg.... I tried "Da 3 bite feast" today... epic. You get a little bit of everything with this choice... the Ube pancake was fantastic, the crabcake Benedict was delicious, and the waygu loco moco was so savory! The service is always great, we LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. read more

Wow! One of the best discoveries on our visit to O'ahu! The place was cozy and inviting, and the staff was so hospitable ... a quintessential trait of our Filipino culture, if I do say so myself. The menu had all the classics, along with some delectable twists. We ordered the longsilog and the ube haupia French toast. Had to take them to-go because the place was at full capacity with more ppl waiting outside! Yeah, it's pretty fantastic. read more

Local favorite- food smash! It was a small quaint location which fills up very quickly but has phenomenal friendly service. We tried the house favorites which included the Ube taste for the French toast plate. My best friend says his favorite is the steak breakfast as the cut is perfect and taste is perfect. Mom got a kapuna serving size and she was joyful to the Spanish sausage which was new to her taste buds. We had a fabulous breakfast and mine included fresh pineapple juice as well. 10/10 loved everything about it! Be prepared restroom is outside around the building make sure you ask for the key. read more
