Their ranch, queso, avocado, and mozzarella sauces were all on point and really elevated everything I ordered. The menu has definitely changed since the last time I was here, but in a good way. Plenty of options, and everything felt fresh and familiar at the same time. Around 1:00 pm the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, which made for a relaxing lunch. Service from the beginning was not so great, but the server that served us was good. The host was pretty rude from the start, while checking in she asked if the whole party was here and I said they are in the parking lot making their way in. Then she replied, "well they need to be all in here!", as soon as she said that my whole party was outside waiting, I then told her we are all here, she looked at me rudely and said, " well you have to wait, we are still getting your table ready!!" If you're the first person the customer sees you need to work on the way you talk to them and you need to work on your attitude. Our server on the other hand was very attentive and made sure our drinks were filled. Our orders were taken in a timely matter and food came out faster than usual. Food was good and I enjoyed the rack of ribs. The ribeye steak was also good and also enjoyed the loaded potato soup (pricey for the cup of soup). Honestly i'm not expecting anything crazy when going to a chain restaurant, and I have been to this specific location a bunch of times and had good service I just felt off about this recent experience, as someone who works in the industry I know people have their days but unfortunately when you are at work you have to at least be a nice person. I went in and my server was off the bat bland and had no interest whatsoever. I asked her what recommendations she had for drinks and I asked about margaritas and I barely got a response it was just like "yea they're good" so I got a margarita and honestly I didn't love it, it had a weird dirty water taste to it and only took a couple sips. So I asked her politely if she could take the drink back and all she asked was what was wrong with it and I told her that it kinda tasted funny. And she just took the drink and walked away. Didn't ask if I wanted anything else or apology. Also I understand I ordered the drink I was okay with paying for it, but to not even take it off the bill or something literally anything even an apology was kinda rude considering the drink was all the way full still. Came on a Thursday night and the place was packed! There were plenty of people waiting for tables, but the host told us that the wait would be about 20-25 minutes, so we decided to wait. When we got on the waitlist, it was through Yelp! I didn't realize I could've done it before we even left home! But it's okay because we only waited around 15 minutes before getting seated at the high tables. Our server, Jayson, was nice and friendly and super attentive especially for how busy it was. We got our water right away and didn't wait long for our pupus. We ordered the bottomless chips and the 8 piece wings. my husband got the Nashville hot, and I got the sweet chili. Both flavours were 10/10! I could've easily eaten a dozen myself. For our mains, my husband went with his usual Triple Dipper. His fried mozzarella didn't have that cheese pull this time, but he still loved it. I had the margarita grilled chicken with Mexican rice and subbed the beans for broccoli. I was worried the chicken would be dry, but it was actually super juicy! The broccoli was a bit softer than how I'd normally cook it. But it's okay. I would like to provide an update since my last review. After my last review reflecting my last experience that wasn't positive, Chanel, who I believe is their public relations manager reached out to me to get more information on my experience. After our conversation, I agreed to give Chili's another chance. My family and I stopped in earlier this month after my sister's Hula performance. My experience was a lot better. Upon being seated, our waitress greeted us right away and took our drink orders. It was a busy Saturday night. She came back and took our orders. I had shared with her a card that I had created that listed my food allergies for her to share with the chef. My order came out perfectly and it was delicious! Located in Town Center of Mililani, it's a stand alone restaurant by City Mill, across from Starbucks and adjacent to Walmart. Each time we've gone there for either lunch or dinner we are welcomed by a friendly hostess who smiles and seats us quickly or if they are busy they ask if we'd like to sit at the bar or wait for a table- if we wait they give us a buzzer and it's always within the time they predicted. Tables are clean, servers are attentive and despite being crushed with tables they will manage to acknowledge you on the fly. The last couple of times we had Jason in the bar area and he was great explaining things to us and making sure we had everything we needed despite having a ton of tables. I just had the quesadillas and he made sure I knew that of the two of them, one of them was spicy, which I appreciated him letting me know. Hubby was happy with Jason making sure he had his beer filled again lol - I mean all they had to do was make eye contact. It was hilarious! Stephanie was our server the other night and she felt bad the place doesn't offer coffee, hot tea or hot chocolate. I was freezing as it had been raining all day and wanted something hot. She suggested just plain hot water with lemon and that warmed me up. Then I could enjoy my steak, mashed potatos and broccoli! I'm telling you this plate for $24.99 was awesome! The steak was cooked to perfection of medium rare, I prefer plain mash, but it does come with all the fixins, and the broccoli was plentiful, fresh and steamed to perfection. This will be my go-to meal from now on! The Cabernet I had with it was perfect too. We go to alot of steak places and you know how pricey they can be, so I wasn't expecting it to be that good because it wasn't a ribeye, it was a sirloin, but dang if that chef didn't nail it! Odd because that's usually a back of house or takeout thing. It's the ones we get when purchasing 1/2 lb poke. Looks like there was enough bowls another dishes to make it a little nicer. We mentioned sharing a burger to one another when ordering since we couldn't decide on our entrees, the server overheard and BOH brought out our burger and sides already split on two plates! I hadn't been to Chili's in a while and decided to give it another try this week, but unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. The service was the biggest issue. Our server forgot to bring out our appetizer, and by the time our meals arrived, we just asked her to cancel it altogether. Then she took my empty beer glass and said she'd bring another one, but never came back with it. I even saw her making other drinks, so it was pretty frustrating to be overlooked. When she finally checked in again, I just told her I didn't want it anymore. She did apologize, but at that point it didn't really mean much since we already felt overlooked multiple times. What an unfortunate, terrible experience I had tonight, unlike my many past experiences dining here. For reference, it's Valentines Day and my husband and I checked in a little after 6pm and were told our table would be ready by 7:25, which was cool. We walked to town center to kill time and came back to the host, who was terribly rude. She said they had a 10 minute grace period and basically to leave. I told her it was 7:22, 3 minutes before said time. I explained to her that we waited for 45 minutes. She basically shrugged us off and had a bad attitude stating that she took us off the waiting list. I walked out and her co-worker apologized to my husband and so did the manager, which I give props to, at least they tried to make up for their ignorant hostess. The manager said they had seating for us and she would serve us herself. It was too late and my appetite to eat there was gone. To that hostess that treated us poorly, thank you. We had a couple of questions about the menu and Daphne who was our server was patient, polite and answered all of our questions. She brought our drinks along with chips and salsa and came to check on us several times, before bringing out our entrees. We ordered burgers and fajitas which were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Kudos to the chef! We later found out that it was Daphne's second day working and she was being trained by Steph. She was simply amazing, she checked on us several times to see if we were enjoying our meal and even refilled my drink three times. She was totally awesome! Stepped into Chili's today for a nice dinner. It was a pleasant experience. The wait staff did a great job at taking our orders and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Chili's isn't one of our 'go-to' places typically but we might make it one soon, considering the great service and cleanliness. We shared the fajita trio and bottomless chips and salsa. Everything was great tasting. The only thing they can improve on with the fajita trio is maybe add more than just 4 tortillas. Especially if your sharing with your spouse or friend. Four tortillas doesn't really go very far with two people. Overall, great experience and very glad we stopped in. Looking forward to our next visit. :) read more

On Sunday, after watching NFL football, there was lots of advertising including the special (Chili's three for me) burgers with fries for $10.99. When we arrived and was seated, I went to order and was told that they don't honor it, and only pertains to mainland. I was disappointed, but went ahead and ordered the smash burger with fries. If you don't mind waiting and waiting then this is for you, talking about ordering online or calling it in. It's normally not too bad but last night was just unbelievable ridiculous in waiting. Called in the order, told 15-20 minutes, knowing it's never ready on time came 30 minutes later. They messed up on my burger and added cheese and had to "remake" it, 10 minutes I was told. Mind you 10 minutes went by yet no one comes to me to give me updates then 20 and when I'm asking about it I was told still working on it. And I have three other orders I'm holding all getting COLD since I was just waiting. Then finally 30 minutes later I get it. However, here's the new thing I've never saw Chili's do. I open that burger when I got home and lo and behold what do I see, remnants of cheese on the burger. So apparently the burger wasn't re made. Cheese was just scrapped off the old one and handed to me but 30 minutes it took to do this. And also, it was not hot, you would figure the Burger would be warmer in temp compared to the other food I was just holding for 30 minutes. Nope. This was just a disappointing night with Chili's. Love how Chili's was able to accommodate all of us and we were able to sit the adults on one long table and the kids on the other long table. Pupus was good, we especially enjoyed the guacamole. This is my first time at Mililani's Chili's. I met my brothers and a friend there for a small get together. The server was Gwynth? But her first name is Princess, very friendly. I had ordered the sampler: chicken wings, sliders, and a chicken black bean corn wrap. My brothers thought that was the appetizer for everyone. I said,"No...it's my main dish." They said, "What?!" Sliders were small, soft buns, and beefy cheese flavor with ketchup added to buns. The chicken was slightly spicy, temperature hot! I dipped the wings into the ranch sauce...nice spice cool down. That was the bomb! The wraps were real Western like flavor. I used the avocado flavored dip that added a creaminess. I love avocados...perfect pair for the wraps. I don't know what is going on with Chili's but we have been coming here every week for years the quality of food has gone down and the quality of service as well. We came in, sat down and waited on our food. They forgot to bring mine now, which was fine as we know that sometimes the kitchen can get busy when they finally did bring my food out my burger was over cooked just horrible . My husband usually gets the trio and it tasted awful as if it was dipped in grease and was sitting in there without cooking I actually have never seen him complain about food but this was it for us.
