I highly recommend coming here for great vibes, amazing drinks and wonderful service from Jamie and the staff. Located in Downtown Pearl Ridge at the Wai Makai Food Court, it's a convenient and great place to gather. Weekend afternoons and nights can get fairly busy, but we came on a Sunday mid-morning and got to relax and watch the game. Got to try their Holiday Cocktail menu which was reasonably priced and picture worthy. It's a smaller area but the decorations were cute and festive. They have great Happy Hour (4-6pm daily) deals and allow you to bring food from outside and enjoy it with your drink.
Such an amazing place! Due to the unfortunate events that caused valor to stop live music, I hope they can bring it back, it was great to have a place to drink, dance and listen to some great bands and it was central for those who live on the west side of the island. Tons of parking, only cause valor is located in the mall, exactly where the food court is. Valor is quite spacious and the bartenders are cool, the drinks are not as pricey compared going to Waikiki to watch live music. I would only go back if they bring back live music, but will support them as a pretty great establishment.
If you're looking for a place with good cocktails, an interesting vibe, look no further than VALOR!!! Located upstairs in the Pearlridge mall in the food court by the theaters. My friends and I decided to have a drink in the afternoon. We were lucky enough to come during 4-6 when they have pau hana specials. $3 off cocktails!!! Originally, we came for one drink and because our first drink was good we decided to stay and try a few more. We started with the classic espresso martini, which was strong but good cocktail. We then decided to switch the flavor palate to something more sweet and this is where we really enjoyed our drinks. My friends decided to try the Mango Margarita which had a li hing mui rim and I decided to try the Sweet Like Celina. If your looking for a not too sweet drink, then the Mango Margarita is the drink to get, but if your looking for a strawberry based sweet but strong drink, then Sweet Like Celina is the drink for you. The only thing they are missing is the food, hence 4 stars vs 5. They do have a small charcuterie board on the menu or I think you can get food from the near by food court eateries and bring it over to the bar. Other wise everything else was great, I will definitely be back!!
Amazing and different drinks. Well thought out recipes. The fruit loops was a surprise how good it tasted. Jamie is so quick and personable. They play sound for the games so def a place to drop by! Close to the airport and even if you don't want to shop it's a quick walk from the parking lot

Literally as we decided to grab a drink with about 45 minutes to our movie time which is quite a bit yet not enough to explore too far or for any seating at a restaurant this location does made it really convenient to a quick sip. I remember seeing some holiday sips though there wasn't any menu that display the new sips even as we looked over via QR code which also seems like there was just one bartender that was working it all and with a semi full bar top no one approached us or even gave us a look/hello was a bit sad. I approached the bar area still nothing there was another staff though not quite sure what role she had both was understandably busy but as I walked around the bar area and found the holiday menu there looked it over and even as the bartender had noticed me still not a single word. Eventually I got my order in and immediately cashed out versus keeping a tab I though to do so as getting their attention again would make us late for our movies and got of course got drinks from their menu though they made one of the wrong drink we nevertheless enjoyed them. I got "Deck the Ball" and bestie wanted the Winter Wonderland but got the "Merry Mistle Brew" it was wonderfully powerful but so good my drink came in a glass ornament and hers a bougie brew with sprinkles as we chat and sip it was time before we know it and left for our movies. I do love the vibe and it was a nice spot though wished they had more comfy seating versus the typical bar seats but will be back as we have another night of movies planned. Thank you!
Had dinner at the mall and decided to go to Valor afterwards. The drinks were really well done. I liked that they were not too sweet, but very balanced. I could tell the bartenders took great care in preparing everyone's drinks. Will definitely be back!
If someone told me that they put a bar next to the movie theaters, I wouldn't believe them! It's a nice area to grab a drink with a friend or have a drink before seeing the movie. I'm not sure if you're able to get a drink and get food from the food court. My friend told me that Fridays and Saturdays, the food court turns into a club. That's very interesting to hear. But anyways, I selected a Mai Tai. I know it's very touristy, but hey, I haven't been home in a couple of years so I think it's okay. haha! The bartender had a heavy hand OR I haven't had a Mai Tai in a while and my tolerance has declined at an embarrasing level. I had a couple of sips and I immediately felt warm. My friend ordered a Japanese high ball type of drink and he liked it a lot! He also ordered the mule on the menu and switched the vodka to the Japanese whiskey. He was pleasantly surprised how delicious it tasted! Thanks for the drinks, Valor!
This place is a total vibe! Perfect for a holiday hangout with friends. Their holiday drinks were not only adorable but tasted amazing. My friends and are definitely coming back for more. I had to try a few festive sips of their limited time holiday drink specials, and they were all soooooo goooood! It's a bit weird being in a mall, but the atmosphere is super cool. Great spot to grab a drink or catch a game. The drink menu is huge, so there's something for everyone. They don't serve food, but you can always buy food from the Food Court and eat in, which is awesome! The night my friends and I met up, they did a little intermission between 8pm - 9pm since they closed during the hour. But they were prepping for a concert (Natural Vibrationz), that we later attended during the night. This is a fantastic addition to the mall scene!
Inside the mall in the food court. One side is bar and the other issues Cinnabon and Panda Express. Also next to Subway sandwiches, trippy. Then there's The Heist. They smoke infuse it in a safe and you open it when you feel it has enough smoke for you. Amazing! Then there was the espresso martini which was also pretty darn good. Last but not least, they have a Monday night special, after 8 pm, for industry, first responders and military. Friendly service on this Monday night.
My husband and I took our friend here while we waited to be called for our table at GEN. We were just going to walk around the mall but found this bar inside and decided to grab a drink. The bar looks really new and it's very large with seats at the bar itself and large bar tables around the bar as well. I ordered the chunky monkey cocktail and it was SOOOO yummy! I highly highly recommend it. I could have drank 10 of them but I'm pretty sure they are super strong lol. Every Monday they have 50% off for all military which I love as im a part of a military household myself. They also have happy hour every day from 4-6pm. The staff is super nice and efficient. They were patient with me when I couldn't decide what I wanted initially. Nothing but smiles! The manager also rounded all the groups and made sure we were all okay and had what we needed! This was probably the best service I've gotten in a Hawaiian bar in a long time! We will probably be coming back here!
Hot New Bar in Pearlridge Mall, Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii... Valor is located upstairs of "Downtown Pearlridge". It's a great location - in the food court next to Consolidated Theater. Just go up the escalator (near Hallmark) to the Subway, Sbarro, and Rainbow Drive-In area. Jamie was our efficient, friendly, and helpful server. My friend asked Jamie what Valor's specialty is... Espresso Martini... This was confirmed by my friend's niece, who saw it on Instagram... Bam! My friend got the "Sweet Like Celina" with a fresh strawberry garnish. It had a vodka base and homemade strawberry puree. She liked it. I got a refreshing Coke - because "it's the Real Thing"! Hee hee! We enjoyed the clean, open bar with many large screens to view sports, WSOP, and other channels. This is a very convenient location with restrooms in the far corner of the Food Court. While your other half is shopping downstairs, you can rest and have some refreshments! Come check it out!
Welcome to Aiea Valor! This 5 star review is based on their amazing cocktails. It is hard to really rate a "bar" when they don't serve food but this deserved my Yelp review because rarely does a place make me 5 custom drinks that are soooooooo good!!!! So this bar is set up on the side area of the Pearlridge food court. Located literally next to the Subway and the escalators to go down to the Hallmark floor of the mall. SUPER casual. This is not a fancy date night type of vibe. Only seats are the high bar chairs until the mall closes, then people can sit in the food court area. This is not a place to have a gathering of like 10 friends as, again, you sit at the high top bar. So more of a pop in, have a great cocktail..or two.. and your out. Now, you CAN go get food from the food court vendors and eat it at the bar. We had Yummy Korean BBQ but there is a pizza place and other things up there. If I had to recommend a drink, it would be to get the expresso flight. ALL 3 of the drinks are full sized and are delicious. Plenty of free parking of course at Pearlridge.
I tried their two cocktails.. sweet like celina and purple bliss. Celina must have been one really sweet lady cause dannng, the drink was really sweet and made me feel the jitters. Purple Bliss was much better and I liked the flavor more, but they add this giant block of ice that's the same height as the cup, so you probably get one small shot glass worth of drink in that. LOL but I guess that's how most bars make money, right!?
First time here!!! Now that it's December I have been trying to check out holiday bars and holiday cocktails. Valor was up first on the list! We sat ourself on a high table and was greeted by our bartender who was so sweet. She recommended the top 3 holiday drinks to us, which we tried. We really liked the 1) Jack Frost, 2) Abuelita's Hot Cocoa, and 3) Grinch Punch. Our cocktails were delicious and I liked the chill atmosphere and vibe this place had to it since we came once the mall was closed. This bar only served alcohol so I heard it was BYOF = bring your own food to enjoy while you drink, which is pretty cool! I definitely would come again! read more
It makes complete sense, there's eateries all around and plenty of seating area. The sound carries just fine from the live entertainment nearby. And there's at least three big screens on with different sporting events to watch. We came at a time that was medium busy, not too crowded and we tried two of their Signature drinks. Talk about fast and friendly service with a smile! His Espresso and the Lychee Luxe were both perfect on a hot Friday afternoon. The decor is crisp and clean. The atmosphere is bright and lively. There's tables for large groups and lots of bar counter for pairs. It's not too noisy either. Fun and relaxing, glad we came to try it :) read more

Every cocktail preps you for the battle your taste buds will encounter. If I had it any other way, it wouldn't be Valor... It would be mediocre! ALEXSA! Define Mediocre...!!! Finally, a chill bar area on this side of the island! It's family-friendly, conveniently located by the food court and movie theatre, and allows outside food to be brought to the bar top. My husband and I have been to Valor almost weekly since their soft opening. Chris meticulously creates an elevated bar experience with his passion, the overall curation of the drinks, the finished look with the garnishes, and the taste/smell of the drinks. Everytime we've been here, the bartenders and owners have been attentive and helped guided us through the menu. And, they check in to see if we've liked their recommendations. I didn't think I'd like the Staycation, but it's one of my faves so far. The raspberry isn't too tart and it's a unique twist to a typical lava flow. You can pull up to any bar and order a drink, but can you honestly say that you got an elevated bar experience? Hands down, it's the attention to detail that stands out for me with Valor. I'm excited to see how they'll do once the live music begins! read more
Soft opening for this neighborhood bar in Pearl Ridge Mall's Wai Makai food court near the theaters. BYOF. Enjoyed chill live music on a Saturday night. Quite a bit of bar seats, many families there even with young children and babies. The Staycation cocktail wasn't overly sweet and a good choice for those who don't want an alcohol forward drink. Recommend to mix the house made raspberry and mint purée well with the rest of the drink when you first get it, instead of mixing as you drink. The straw was a bit short for the tall glass. The Japanese Paloma was easy to drink and refreshing. Did not enjoy the house old fashion with Old Pali Whiskey. The cocktail was disjointed and tasted a bit watery. Fun hangout bar spot and looking forward to their growth and improvements! read more

What a great surprise and fun place for Aiea. We don't have a lot of cool bars there. It is a bummer the mall agency will not let them have live music and close earlier. Cocktails and Tuesday specials are worth the mid-week visits. read more

Surprisingly nice bar at the mall. You can bring outside food to eat. Lots of great drinks and our bartender was on point! Sometimes they have live bands on stage. Great place to chill after work! read more
Okay I'm all in on this local Aiea bar. It's been three month since I was here for the soft opening and they have made their mark in the area. There's really no comparison to any of the other Mid Island spots. Opening at noon they go into the late night hours with local music (I've not been here for it) and because you can either order food from the food courts venders in the Mall and bring it in or apparently stop anywhere and bring that in it makes it just a great place to meet up with friends. Lots of available parking, friendly bartenders and happy patrons. Large screen TVs for football made my afternoon. Go KC! read more

First time at Valor and we loved it! Parking is convenient and easy to find at Pearlridge. They are located in the food court so there are lots of food options. The modern bar is giving Vegas bar in Hawaii vibes! The staff were very kind and service was good! Will definitely be back. read more
This might be the new Mai Tai's for central Oahu. Located in the food court of Pearlridge right next to the movie theater. No more driving into town for some delicious drinks and chill vibes. Hubby and I came here for the first time for some day drinks, and we can't wait to come back again another time for live music. The espresso martini flight hit the spot. Service was spectacular and it was fun watching them make their infused signature cocktails for other customers. Pro tip: since this bar doesn't serve food, you're welcome to order food in the food court and eat it at the bar or bar seating. Also, you have to enjoy your drinks in the bar area, no alcohol allowed in the food court seating areas. read more

A friend recommended Valor for our visit to Oahu and we do NOT regret going! Immediately met with friendly service from Mark who made us our amazing drinks. The wine came with a small charcuterie board to snack on and the drink "The Heist" was definitely an entertaining experience and great drink for us. The location is near the food court very easy to spot & has a very cool environment. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Owner Chris who made an amazing impression, gave great service and was very nice. Shoutout again to both Mark and Chris for the amazing first time experience, they definitely took care of us! Would definitely come back again! read more
Came in on a Monday night with friends and I believe Chris helped us. He was very personable and quick with the drinks. He did explain what the bar would be offering on the weekends as far as live music and food options for late night since they don't have a kitchen. It sounds like it'll be pretty awesome once they're fully open and set up. As far as the cocktails, we tried 6 between us and they were all great and well priced ($12-$14). The bar area is clean & offers a lot of seating with a few TVs which is great for anyone needing a break from shopping. I'll definitely be back to see the progress. FINALLY!!! A live music place for the central area. Conveniently located at PearlRidge Downtown right outside of Pearlridge West Theatres. VALOR replete with live music by award-winning musician Kamaka Camarillo, serves alcohol and specialty cocktails (see menu). Ample free parking, always a plus! Everything you could wish for in one place: shopping, eateries, movie theatre, now made complete with the addition of this bar with live music. Truly an "elevated experience". Not bad at all for a soft opening. The Bartenders got skills and the Owner crafted up an amazing Kohana Old Fashion. Yep, you heard me right..mind blowing how yum it was. If you're looking for a quick drink and a spot to catch some games while you shop, Valor is a great option. Located in the food court, this bar offers a convenient location for those who want a drink without driving into town. I got the chocolate martini and it was strong, but delicious. My friend got the Heist, and it came in what looked like a safe, pretty cool. Valor is a cocktail bar open to everyone until 8 pm and then closes and re-opens as a 21+ bar with live music. The vibe at night is similar to Mai Tai's at Ala Moana, with live music from local artists like Kawao, High Watah, and Natural Vibrations. The bartenders were all very nice and I'll definitely be back for some live music! read more

You had me at espresso martini flight!! New bar located on the movie theater side of Pearlridge- my friends and I were inclined to pay a visit to try their espresso martinis, and it did not fall short of my expectations. The espresso in the martini is extracted from an espresso machine too, which makes everything all the better :) I love that this bar is located right in the food court, you're able to bring your food over while you drink! Ambience was great, service was amazing- our bartender Jamie was very sweet and patient with us as we asked her questions about our drinks / menu. Will be coming back for another espresso martini! read more

Came here with a few friends on a Monday night and was so impressed! A full bar in the pearlridge mall sounds unusual but we felt comfortable and enjoyed our drinks. You're also welcome to bring food from the mall with you to eat while you drink. The bar was clean, they had large TVs, and our bartender was really knowledgeable. I was surprised by how affordable all of the cocktails were especially with all of their different ingredients. My favorite was the espresso martini, they have a real espresso machine! Can't wait to come back and check out the rest of the menu, or get the espresso martini again and eat it with a Cinnabon :) read more

No, they do not have any appetizers. You can buy food from anywhere and eat it at Valor. Their glasses of wine come with a Wine Glass Charcuterie Topper. That's the only food option at Valor.
