    Chicken Fried Steak
    Kathy N.

Checked out this place, for an Impromptu lunch on Father's Day. Bar area seemed pretty busy, but they had a large covered area outdoors where we sat near the green. Husband had the Chicken Fried Steak, an egg and potatoes, and I had Kalbi on a sizzling platter. Entree came with Mac salad, kimchi and rice. Overall food was tasty. Kalbi was good, but small portion of thin pieces of meat. (Not a selection of meat I would purchase.) *Husband's food came out at least 5 minutes faster than mine. *On a nice note, husband's beer was comped. *Server was friendly *Close to home.

I'd say this is a 4.5 star location. Wonderful, affordable golf club eatery. The menu is extensive, moderately priced. In our group of 9 we tried several items from the menu and it everyone seemed satisfied with their order. I will definitely return and come hungry. They have a full service bar which I didn't know until I arrived. I only had a coffee today as I was driving but look forward to ordering the margarita and the Calloway on my next visit. Myself and and another attendee ordered the fish tacos. Which I would order again! The mahi mahi was delicious with the guacamole, pico, chipotle sauce and cabbage. They were not breaded which I would normally prefer, however, these were flavorful and well balanced! It came with a decent salsa and chips on the side. I didn't even expect a side but was satisfied with this option. The pancakes were giant! My friend who ordered enjoyed them but stated they were a touch on the dry side even with the coconut cream on top. It was mentioned the French toast was also dry and it wasn't the first occasion this person noted the same finding. The chicken wrap had good reviews from both ladies at my table who ordered it. The shoestring French fries also had good reviews. The fruit looked to be fresh on the yogurt bowl and granola, I forgot to ask how it was. The seating is inside and outside at the edge of the gold course. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather though it was a bit humid today due to the rainy forecast. It's an inviting area and it looks like they have a function area and a small stage outside.

What a great place to be tonight. Delicious food and awesome entertainment. Service is fantastic. Great place for a get together will definitely be back here.

This place is very casual. It is located at a golf course. Came for lunch and there were a few parties doing the same. The menu has an array of choices and the prices are reseaonable. Customer service was top notch - they were very attentive. They checked on us and made sure to get what we needed. I ordered a hamburger steak and a bloody Mary. Both were good!

This gem is hidden on a golf course. Haliana was so amazing for our party. We had the spinach dip, vanilla ice cream and blah blah blah. The Pupu steak was delicious!!!! Great service on sunset. Thanks Haliana!!!! (The first spinach dip had bread crumbs so we got another. Very grateful!!!!

Hubby & I have dined here more than a handful of times for Pau Hana drinks & pupus, but this past weekend was the first time we tried brunch. We pass by on the back-roads going to Kapolei and there's a giant banner that advertises "Hawaii's Best Bloody Mary." I had to stop by to try it for myself, and boy were they right! Holy smokes! The Bloody Mary was loaded! It came with smoked meat, cheese cube, jumbo prawn, pineapple, celery, lime, pickled onion, grape tomato, pepperoncini, olive, and pickled green bean. It was basically a snack before our real breakfast arrived lol. For our meals we ordered Firecracker Chicken Hash Bowl and Biscuits & Gravy with a side of sausages. The food was delicious. I can't believe how underrated this spot is for brunch, I almost want to gatekeep it so it doesn't get too crowded on weekends for us, but here I am, sharing what an amazing experience we had. Our server was very attentive and friendly, as with our past experiences there. Everyone is always warm and welcoming. On a side note, it looks like you can host events there. They had the outside tent area set up for what looked like maybe a baby shower? I would definitely look into holding a party there in the future.

If you're looking for good eats with island vibes, 60FORE Bar and Grill is the spot! Right by the golf course, it's the perfect hangout. * Fried Noodles loaded with spam, kamaboko, char siu, and green onion = flavor bomb. * Kalbi ribs? Juicy, marinated just right, with sautéed onions on top. Served plate-lunch style with 2 scoop rice + mac salad. * Full bar (yes, Coke fans rejoice), TVs everywhere for sports, and even a little merch corner to rep 60FORE. * Dessert lovers, don't sleep on the brownie sundae--it's the sweet finish you didn't know you needed. Indoor or outdoor seating, chill atmosphere, and portions that don't mess around. I'll be back for round 2 Overall, 60FORE Bar and Grill delivers flavorful food, a relaxed environment, and a sports-friendly setup. A great choice for casual dining, and worth returning to explore more of the menu. Get your 60FORE Merchandise While you get your grind on Marie

Nate, our server, was the absolute highlight of our dining experience. His friendly and attentive service was top-notch, making our visit even more enjoyable. While we opted for appetizers only, they were more than enough. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was creamy and flavorful, the Buffalo Wings were crispy and spicy (with the perfect side of buffalo sauce and ranch), and the Pupu Steak was cooked to perfection (medium, my favorite!). But the real star of the show was the oysters. They were incredibly plump & juicy! If you're looking for a great chill place to enjoy some delicious appetizers and fantastic service, I highly recommend this place!

My golf club played at Barbers Point so some of stopped into the 6'0FORE Bar & Grill before our round. I had a double Hendricks gin & tonic ($9) and a Chicken Caesar Wrap with fries, another had a double Crown on the rocks ($11) and the Fresh Poke Nacho with jalapeno and avocado ($29), and one had a Dos Equis tall ($9) and a 604 Burger with fries ($18). The drinks were refreshing, and the food was great. I had difficulty finishing my chicken wrap; the fresh poke nacho was outstanding! So flavorful and spicy! After golf, our club held its year-end banquet in the place ... we started with Kalua pig nachos and fresh poke nachos and a round of drinks. For those on my table, we opted for Diet Coke so we could drive home. Dinner was buffet-style, with an oriental chicken salad, fried noodles, slices of beef and popcorn garlic chicken. Everything tasted great! Afterward, our club chairman explained that the prices at this location are lower than at Leilehua, thus, the reason for holding it here. I hadn't been to Barbers Point in 30-plus years ... the course has been upgraded significantly and is in very good condition. With 6'0FORE Bar & Grill on property, there is more reason for us to come out and play golf. Some of our friends were playing at Coral Creek and came to dine at 6'0FORE B&G because the restaurant at Coral Creek was closed. Hey, that's a great idea! Come here after golfing at any of the courses in Ewa Beach and enjoy very reasonably priced food and drink. Highly recommended!

When on the west side of Oahu, check out this chill place with live music accommodating staff always. Food is comfort food that hits the spot. Ain't nothing fancy. Simple and chill, relaxing, and relaxing, anytime of the week. Love it, so close to home. If you're in need of a place to drink, chill and drink, this is the place. Look out for the local bands. When in the west side, check it out. Been here for parties, concerts, or just pau hana Friday. Dis is da place. See you there!

We had a freakin' amazing time! Alena was probably by far the best server I've had the honor of being served by at 60Fore in Kapolei. I highly recommend this restaurant and her as your waitress (and potentially as yours if you request her). Be sure to leave a generous tip for this awesome lady ;)

My wife went for a coworker retirement party and brought me home the firecracker chicken and it was very tasty, the sauce was delicious it wasn't that spicy but you can spicy it up more. I guess if you are there you could ask to make it more spicy. They always go there and enjoy the food and special drink menu. When I went the dining area is spacious and parking. They have indoor and outdoor dining, inside they have air conditioning, outside none.

Besides sharing a pitcher of beer, my tablemate ordered the Pastrami Sandwich and I had the Korean Fried Chicken. My plate came with rice and mac salad, but I asked for French Fries in place of the rice. Alas, I got a plate with rice and fries. Sigh. The pastrami sandwich comes with a choice of fries, mac, or green salad. My tablemate opted for the mac salad. Except for the faux pas on my dish, the food was well presented and prepared properly. Service was fine and the prices reasonable being that it's 2024. My primary quibble is their hours of operation. 11am on weekdays and 10am on weekends is too late for a golf course restaurant. They have a breakfast menu but why bother? Our tee time was at 6:40am so we had to find breakfast elsewhere. My other quibble is the limited choice in beer by the pitcher ... Bud Lite? The restaurant is nice and it could be so much more ... a conditional recommendation for now.

I was not thrilled about their prime rib, pancit or ribs because the pancit and ribs had that 5 Chinese spice taste and I'm not a fan of that at all. I want my pancit to taste like pancit! PROS: This location offers a brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. We ordered Bruleed French Toast…read moreand Fried Chicken and Waffles Benedict. Both orders were more normal-sized portions and slightly cheaper than the normal entrees. The Bruleed French Toast was light and fluffy, with a decent amount of custard flavor. The Fried Chicken and Waffles Benedict came with two quarters of belgian waffles with two chicken tenders on each. The chicken tenders were very juicy and the hollandaise sauce added the perfect richness. There's also a butterscotchy syrup which went surprisingly well with the chicken and hollandaise sauce. The staff are friendly and we got seated almost immediately. We went at 11:30am, right before the crowds. Our server Tommy was very attentive to us checking in with us multiple times and even after we paid the check. We were hoping to get a second serving of bread, but our entrees arrived really fast. So by the time we finished our entrees, we told Tommy to cancel the second order of bread since we got too full. Tommy was nice enough to add bread to our to-go bag! There's also tons of free parking at Kamakana Alii! So it's not as stressful of a time as the Waikiki location. So far, I've never had to hunt for parking when I come here. CONS: The brunch portions are more "normal entree" size, but I kinda wish they were a little more elegantly plated. No real garnishes other than a sprig of mint on the french toast. The waffles were quite mid, but everything on top really saved it. My Fried Chicken and Waffles came with a side of fries which were room temp by the time we got it. The free bread was also cold and the sourdough loaf was pretty tough to chew. We must've gotten the last pieces of the batch and were hoping to get fresher bread. We also wanted to order the Chicken Parmesan Pizza Style, but realized that neither Hawaii locations serve it. That was really disappointing and most likely there are other items on the normal menu that aren't available in Hawaii. OVERALL: I much prefer this location over the Waikiki location. Parking is plentiful, staff are attentive and we haven't had to wait to be seated. Service is fast and friendly and the food was pretty good. Bread freshness is a hit or miss, but we've liked the entrees available. I wish they offered the complete Cheesecake Factory menu, but I'm not surprised that things are different in Hawaii.

The jalapeño cheddar sausage was another standout--it had just the right amount of heat with the cheesy goodness balancing it perfectly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. If you're craving good barbecue, this place is definitely worth checking out! Foods are way better now under new management.

This is a long review, I had quite a bit to say…read more I LOVE a good BBQ! From Arizona to Wisconsin, I have tried many different kinds. Unfortunately Dickey's in Kapolei, Hawaii does not meet my standards. I've been to Dickey's on the mainland. (BIG SMOOCH). When I saw a Dickey's here on Oahu Island, I started doing the HAPPY DANCE. It's in Kapolei which is a 30-45 minute drive from the other side of the island. I was really surprised by how small this restaurant is compared to the other restaurants in the Mainland. Dickey's Kapolei is located in The Walmart Shopping Center. The restaurant has maybe 15 parking spaces. There are 4 restaurants that they use. The Shopping Center in general has tons of parking Spaces but it's quite a walk to Dickey's. The easiest way to find the restaurant is to say it's kinda hidden behind Jersey Mikes. The biggest issue that I noticed was that it had NO Street View. That alone caused me to take one of my stars away. I used to love the 2-meat combo. Smoked Breast Of Chicken and either the pulled pork (which always seems to be a bit dry.) Or my 2nd choice is the Jalapeño Smoked Sausage. My two sides are The Fully Loaded Mashed Potatoes and The Macaroni and Cheese. No complaints about my sides. My Daughter is a creature of habit. She always ordered The Smoke Stack. (They recently changed their food names). It's 1/4 pound of Brisket, chopped or sliced depending on how you like the Brisket placed directly on top of a Large Boat Tray of the Macaroni and Cheese. My daughter and I made a habit of going to Dickey's at least twice a month. AND SUDDENLY POOFDICKEY'S WAS GONE! NO,NO, NO! Back to ordering BBQ, Nope, Hey Look! That restaurant has BBQ signs all over it. My hope was starting to rise until My dreams were shattered...It's a Korean BBQ, HO HUM. There are tons of Korean BBQ restaurants, Just as all my hopes for a yummy Western BBQ had disappeared , OMG! Did that van say Dickey's? It was too late to make my 30 minute drive all the way back to Kapolei. But when I awoke the next day, the sun was bright, There was a light breeze and the smell of jasmine flowers and the birds were singing. I rushed to finish my errands and took off in search of where is The "NEW" Dickey's? Surprised! It's in the same Walmart Shopping Center and it was still hidden behind Jersey Mikes. I decided I would place a mobile order. 2 meat plate, (smoked chicken and Jalapeño and cheese sausages.) what can I say? I also am a creature of habit! I LOVE The Texas Toast, so I ordered 6 pieces. I went inside to get my order. There seemed to be some kind of tension in the air when I walked in. There were 4 high school age kids running the restaurant. I grabbed my small bag of the dinner rolls. That poor 17 year old kid had to listen to my rant. She went to the back to tell The manager? Naaa, The New Owner? Ding Ding, Ding, We have a winner! The gentleman looked exhausted. Now I felt sorry for this man. Restaurants are one of the hardest businesses to run. He seems nice enough, so I explained that I ordered 6 pieces of Texas Toast. His response was to tell me, We're out of Texas Toast, so I exchanged your order and gave you the dinner rolls instead. "Bread is Bread". He issued a refund. As I was just about to open the door, The owner said "Hey, Did you want these holding up the bag of dinner rolls? Sure, my daughter will use them. I walked back to the register and he handed me the bag. UPDATE: My daughter and I went back to Dickey's, hoping that he was doing better. Nope. This time they were out of sliced chicken breast, no sausages, no sliced ham and not any type of apology. The customer right next to me seemed to have almost the same problem. She asked for a piece of pecan pie and that's what she paid for. But in her bag, they gave her an ice cream that was melting. She asked for a refund on the ice cream because that's not what she wanted. The owner looked directly at her and said dessert is dessert. Just like bread is bread. And now you can see why I gave them three stars. I wish him luck that hopefully he is able to straighten the restaurant up and get it working like a well oiled machine. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Best of luck!

I grabbed a cold Heineken and an order of the Texas Cheese Fries, and they definitely hit the spot. The fries came out hot, loaded with cheese, bacon, jalapeños, and ranch, and paired perfectly with the beer. The bar area was comfortable, the service was friendly, and it was a relaxing place to hang out instead of sitting in a waiting room. If you're getting your car serviced nearby or just looking for a casual spot to unwind, I'd definitely recommend stopping in here. I'll be back the next time I'm waiting on my vehicle.

We used to be regulars back when they had great value deals like the 3 for $10 meals and complimentary chips and salsa through the rewards program. It was surprising to learn that the rewards program is no longer offered, and we couldn't find any indication of that before visiting. The biggest surprise was the pricing. Most entrées were around or over $20, which felt really steep for the quality and portion sizes. The sides were small, and overall the meal just didn't feel like a good value. To me, not even filling the plate with fries is cheap for a $19 black bean burger. Our bill was around $70, and for that price, there are so many better dining options on Oʻahu with fresher, higher-quality food. The service was fine, but the food and value just aren't what they used to be. It's disappointing because this used to be one of our go-to casual restaurants.

It's a nice mom and pop feel with a pane of pexi-glass between tables. It feels like private tables. I had a cup of coffee served in a nice ceramic cup labeled with their name on it. I had a bowl of loco moco which was very good. The gravy was well seasoned and it went well with the white rice. The hamburger itself was flavorful and heavy, just the way I like it. I was here years ago and finally got a chance to drop in. I will be back soon to try other items.

The kama'aina fried rice was filled with lots of meat: bacon, spam, ham, and Portuguese sausage. It was pretty good. The pancake flight was okay. Would've been better if I could choose the pancakes. Overall, the lilikoi pancake was the best! I didn't too much favor the chocolate taro-haupia or the cookie butta lava. The Kalua pork omelette was good, but I wish there was more meat inside. All the portions were very generous. The only thing we didn't like was that everything was overloaded with onions. And I LOVE onions, but even I thought it was too much. For that reason, my family didn't care too much for their meals. Overall, we had a fair experience. Seating is a little tight, but we were still comfortable. The only inconvenience was the bathroom on the top floor, which can be difficult when you have little kids.
