Checked out this place, for an Impromptu lunch on Father's Day. Bar area seemed pretty busy, but they had a large covered area outdoors where we sat near the green. Husband had the Chicken Fried Steak, an egg and potatoes, and I had Kalbi on a sizzling platter. Entree came with Mac salad, kimchi and rice. Overall food was tasty. Kalbi was good, but small portion of thin pieces of meat. I'd say this is a 4.5 star location. Wonderful, affordable golf club eatery. The menu is extensive, moderately priced. In our group of 9 we tried several items from the menu and it everyone seemed satisfied with their order. I will definitely return and come hungry. They have a full service bar which I didn't know until I arrived. I only had a coffee today as I was driving but look forward to ordering the margarita and the Calloway on my next visit. Myself and and another attendee ordered the fish tacos. Which I would order again! The mahi mahi was delicious with the guacamole, pico, chipotle sauce and cabbage. They were not breaded which I would normally prefer, however, these were flavorful and well balanced! It came with a decent salsa and chips on the side. I didn't even expect a side but was satisfied with this option. The pancakes were giant! My friend who ordered enjoyed them but stated they were a touch on the dry side even with the coconut cream on top. It was mentioned the French toast was also dry and it wasn't the first occasion this person noted the same finding. The chicken wrap had good reviews from both ladies at my table who ordered it. The shoestring French fries also had good reviews. The fruit looked to be fresh on the yogurt bowl and granola, I forgot to ask how it was. This place is very casual. It is located at a golf course. Came for lunch and there were a few parties doing the same. The menu has an array of choices and the prices are reseaonable. Hubby & I have dined here more than a handful of times for Pau Hana drinks & pupus, but this past weekend was the first time we tried brunch. We pass by on the back-roads going to Kapolei and there's a giant banner that advertises "Hawaii's Best Bloody Mary." I had to stop by to try it for myself, and boy were they right! Holy smokes! The Bloody Mary was loaded! It came with smoked meat, cheese cube, jumbo prawn, pineapple, celery, lime, pickled onion, grape tomato, pepperoncini, olive, and pickled green bean. It was basically a snack before our real breakfast arrived lol. For our meals we ordered Firecracker Chicken Hash Bowl and Biscuits & Gravy with a side of sausages. The food was delicious. I can't believe how underrated this spot is for brunch, I almost want to gatekeep it so it doesn't get too crowded on weekends for us, but here I am, sharing what an amazing experience we had. My golf club played at Barbers Point so some of stopped into the 6'0FORE Bar & Grill before our round. I had a double Hendricks gin & tonic ($9) and a Chicken Caesar Wrap with fries, another had a double Crown on the rocks ($11) and the Fresh Poke Nacho with jalapeno and avocado ($29), and one had a Dos Equis tall ($9) and a 604 Burger with fries ($18). The drinks were refreshing, and the food was great. I had difficulty finishing my chicken wrap; the fresh poke nacho was outstanding! So flavorful and spicy! After golf, our club held its year-end banquet in the place ... we started with Kalua pig nachos and fresh poke nachos and a round of drinks. For those on my table, we opted for Diet Coke so we could drive home. Dinner was buffet-style, with an oriental chicken salad, fried noodles, slices of beef and popcorn garlic chicken. Everything tasted great! Afterward, our club chairman explained that the prices at this location are lower than at Leilehua, thus, the reason for holding it here. I hadn't been to Barbers Point in 30-plus years ... the course has been upgraded significantly and is in very good condition. With 6'0FORE Bar & Grill on property, there is more reason for us to come out and play golf. Some of our friends were playing at Coral Creek and came to dine at 6'0FORE B&G because the restaurant at Coral Creek was closed. Hey, that's a great idea! Food is good, I ordered the shoyu chicken and the chicken was really tender. My kids enjoyed the fries, however, their grilled cheese sandwich wasn't their favorite. I came here for brunch with my family. We came early around 10, so only certain lunch items were available, plus their full selection of breakfast items. They had both indoor and outdoor seating, which was really nice. There were a lot of flies outside though. The food was really delicious. Amongst my family, we got French toast, pancakes, ahi burger, and the country fried steak. The grilled ahi burger was a pretty generous portion, and I loved the sweet bun they used. The star of the show was definitely the country fried steak. The gravy was so rich and delicious. Our waitress was really friendly and hard working. The server and the outdoor seating were very nice. The indoor section is less appealing (feels more like a bar) and the food is a poor representation of what it's trying to be. The fish tacos were dry and lacked any flavor. They weren't even served with a lime - hello, fish taco 101. I'll now remember their overcooked, plain version as fish taco 60Fore. I would expect a $23 fish taco plate to contain moist, flavorful fish, with tacos filled to capacity. The lime could have actually saved this dish by adding so much flavor, so I'm confused as to why it was missing (bars always have limes). These were like the worst street tacos I ever had, except street tacos cost $3 and include a lime. The $26 ahi poke nachos were "drowned" in sweet chili and unagi (aka kabayaki) sauce, yet still could not disguise the gamey taste of the poke underneath. Don't offer poke unless it's fresh and maybe go lighter on the sauce pour. I planned to order more, but gamey poke was a huge turnoff. I did note that there were no other locals seated. This also seems to be a spinoff from the main 604 restaurant located near Pearl Harbor (where the menu is the same and the food is much better). I thought they were the same company/owner, just with a play on words since this one is on the golf course... but now I'm wondering if it's more like a franchise because of the extreme difference in freshness and quality. This has become the go to place for me and my coworkers after work! While it is a military only golf course, the restaurant and bar allow anyone to come in, and we take advantage of this. Make sure to get there for happy hour and their three dollar draft beers, and the salmon bombs are one of the best foods I've had on the island. read more

The restaurant at the golf course, reason for 3 stars it was so noisy inside that it actually hurt our ears. Like we'd set in front of a loud speaker. It was Friday around 6 an a table of guys who had a few drinks were so loud that it vibrated through the place. I think one of them envisioned himself an MMA announcer, no mic needed. I guess his parents never taught him inside voice. I have nothing against someone having a good time on Friday night, these guys were over the top. According to hostess who seated us, there was no outdoor seating available. We couldn't even hear each other, or consider the menu. We did not order food, realizing it was not going to be a pleasant experience. We realize it's a sports bar and it might be noisy but it was over the top extreme. Might consider noise damping barrier inside or put a group of noisy guys outside. We were not the only ones uncomfortable with the sound level, could see it in the faces of other people. After we left it took 30 minutes for our hearing to feel normal again. Could not rate the food or service. We will give it a try in future with reservations for outside. read more

The adventure of Townie here... this is literal MIDDLE OF NOWHERE for me. Hahah! scary roads with no street lights, so country.... Like driving through a scene of a horror movie... EEK!! Don't let that discourage you though. I was visiting my friend who lives around her... her son suggested we dine here on Saturday night. Everywhere else around Kapolei was booked. I followed her there and as I was driving, I thought she taking me to the boonies... Y'all who know me, I grew up in the ghetto... this speaks a lot haha! We parked on rocks/unpaved ground. They had pave parking since it's also a golf course but it was a full lot. Walked towards the restaurant, bathroom is outside... looks like a beach bathroom... ugh ok I'm a boojie b****, so if you hella boojie, this place not for you! The restaurant gives local vibes got live music at the outdoor seating... We sat inside cause it was FREEZING COLD. Food.... We shared chicken skin! OH SO GOOD! I got fish and chips, it was moist and crispy. The food was amazing. Service is good, they were kind of busy, yet we still got our food in timely manner. Let me just start by saying 60fore is a joke they only think about the money, no Aloha at all. The Servers were rude and made guess so uncomfortable that nobody wanted to ask for anything. We gave a head count of 100 people, only had 1 pan of food for each food item we selected . At the end of the night our guess and family members coming up to us and saying how the food ran out quickly , it was cold and on top of that MY MOTHER found a nut and bolt inside her rice . I had to step down as being a host to go and solve a problem that 60fore servers and staff didn't even want to help with. The server is trying to explain it fell from the lid instead of apologizing, when I'm looking at it and everything was still in tact. What person would scoop rice with a bolt on top of it and not notice a bolt on the rice .One of the servers said " oh but did she end up eating it " in a sarcastic tone as if it was a justifiable answer for having a bolt in there food.....I tell her let me speak to your manger and what do I get a beer and she asks" if my pregnant wife wants one too and if we need anything else come find her " @846pm after everyone left!!! We had it rented out till 11 but everybody left before that because it was so cold where we was put, some guest asked if they could put up windbreakers as they did behind the food and was ignored resulting in everyone leaving early. Terrible terrible terrible my friends had to go inside there shed to grab chairs and tables that should have been set up already . They looked so confused when we came and told them we had a party scheduled for today . This is the kind of service we get after paying the full amount and having them add a 20% gratuity tax for the kitchen and not allowed to cater from anyone else but them only desert . Guest coming up to me and saying that if they paid with card a surcharge and tip was added and taken out. Still waiting for our response if we can be compensated or even get a percentage back on the food or something. Ruined our celebration of our baby to be , I hope everyone reads this review and really think twice about booking a party at 60fore bar and grill behind ewa dump and water treatment..
