This is my third or fourth visit to Kaeo Studios, but my first time leaving a review and I remember this place being the exactly as it is today. The building that this spot is in looks a little rough, but once you enter Kaeo Studios, it's a vibe! There are many businesses that operate in the same building so parking can be limited until 9pm. Our party was in the Trellis Room and the aesthetic is so cute! It's designed to look like a garden and is very spacious. This room can seat about 20/30 people and there is a separate little room for kids or people who don't want to be in the Karaoke mix hehe. There is no food served as it is BYOB and bring your own food. The service is always efficient and awesome. I am hoping to book my mom's party here this year! read more

I stumbled upon this place by chance. I was in initial disbelief that there was a decent karaoke space in my hood. Caller & spoke with the owners & scheduled for my husband to swing by & view. Whelp, lucky us, we have a great karaoke space in our hood! Online reservations make it easy to see what's available. We opted for the pergola room (teenagers bday party) which accommodates 24. Super cute setup, very spacious, private bathroom (it was kinda hidden!). We were allowed to being in our own food & drinks, & they were kind enough to allow me to have personal decorations put up before my daughter arrived. I can't tell you firsthand how the karaoke system setup is (the teenagers made the decisions for the night) but I do know the songs were submitted via their phones. There a QR code to scan, etc. Either way, there weren't any mixups with the songs, pretty smooth. They do have a one/ time charge of $3 per person, if I remember correctly that's like a clean up fee. They also offer some small snacks. Various rooms to accommodate all size parties! They're located in Westgate shopping center, upper floor (Thelma's Filipino food & Leeward drive in are downstairs). Parking lot is decent sized but can definitely fill up with the number of other establishments here. read more

This was my first time at Kaeo Studios and I was very happy with my experience. I was not the person who booked the karaoke room, so I cannot speak for that part of the experience. I attended a birthday party and when you first get to the location there is plenty of parking. The business is located on the 2nd floor and you can access the floor by using stairs or an elevator. There are several rooms set up for rent and when we arrived to the unit, there were signs directing you to your party. The signs had the name and room you will be going to, which was very helpful! Inside the room, there was a 6ft table provided for use. The tv screen is very big, temperature of the room was nice and cool the entire 2 hrs I was there. The choice of music had great range from classics to new songs for karaoke choices! The room itself was small, but the pricing was fair for what we had! Inside the room there were several benches to accommodate everyone in the room. This is definitely worth your money and time to try this karaoke spot!! read more

The best place to have your birthday with friends and family! The place is very nice & my friends were in awe of how pretty it was inside. Very cute to take your photos and have a party. It is BYOB/BYOF so you get a lot of freedom. The owner was also very nice and accomodating! I would probably recommend this place to others if they want a good karaoke place in the west/central side. What sets this studio apart from other places on this island is that this place is a creative's one stop shop of everything you need for content creating, photography, social events, family parties, music video shoots, karaoke, and so much more! She was looking for a spot to host her pop up dance classes since it was hard driving to town everyday. So she invited me to check out this place to test out the lighting and space before she hosts the class. Eli (the owner) and Gavin (Photo/videographer) were very welcoming and informative to give us a tour of the studio. Eli owns 2 suite spaces, one huge space is for karaoke (multiple rooms for small to huge groups) and one space is a multi purpose space for your photography/event needs. Gavin is a very good visionary so if you ever need help thinking of ideas, Gavin is your guy! You can also check out his work on his Instagram @itgvisuals Eli also mentioned that in the karaoke room they have a complimentary snack bar (HUGE YES FOR ME) they have juice, soda, water, coffee, tea, different types of ramen and chips! So if you are too lazy to go down stairs to grab food, the snack bar is there to save your steps and stomach! Even in the photography room they have a mini fridge with juice, soda, and water. Destiny chose the photography room to host her classes ($100 per an hour), The room can fit about 20-30 people in the room dancing. Destiny also requested some large mirrors so she can see her students while teaching. Eli and Gavin went ahead and got us 4 large mirrors! That's some top notch above and beyond service! The day of our class comes and everything ran very smoothly! We're very thankful for your welcoming and helpful hospitality! Legit the best karaoke on the west side, and I've been to several out here. The karaoke itself is very user friendly, modern, and the selections are decent (wish they had more indie songs tho). We reserved booth 1 for date night and holy smokes was it perfect. Reserving the room was easy, adding hours was easy, selecting songs was easy, and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Would love for this place to get more business to keep it afloat. You can tell they put in a lot of work and love to making this place cozy and welcoming. Very pleased with the karaoke software they have. Can do silly radio like sound effects! We were planning a get together for the family and wanted to do something different from the backyard BBQs we've been having lately. So we decided that karaoke was something fun that the family could do together. My wife suggested Kaeo Studios and she was able to secure a tour of the studios before reserving a room. They were very accommodating, we were in the area one Saturday afternoon and they were able to show us around with minimal notice. The rooms have a nice modern design but still manage to feel cozy. The room we reserved could fit about 24 people plus an extra room that could hold 6 more. The software and hardware for the Karakoke was super easy to use, all we had to do was scan a QR code on the screen and enter a name and we were able to start adding to the song queue. We had complete control over the music and sound... Mic levels (we had 2 for the room), backup and lead vocals volume, reverb, song key and some extra audio clips like applause and horns (kids loved the horns). We had a pretty big group and a lot of food from a restaurant downstairs, Thelmas... but Kaeo helped us get some table and chairs set up outside on the lanai. Everyone had fun at the party and it was the first time going to Kaeo for almost everyone. I only heard good things from our family, so I guess this is like ten reviews all wrapped up into one. We celebrated our friend's going away (for now) party here and we had a blast! We reserved the room for two hours...should have reserved it for three! Room was amazing and so nice. The hosts/owners were so very helpful. Bonus for the ramen and sodas that were complimentary. Karaoke system was state of the art! Lots of songs to choose from. Easy to use. We all live near Pearl City and there are a few karaoke places on our side but I was so glad I chose this place. Usually karaoke places are pretty run down; not this place! Great place for a quick and fun Karaoke night!! While you are able to bring your own food and beer they offer some canned and bottle drinks along with some snacks and cup ramen. Right when you show up they show you to your room, show you how to operate the machine, and it's all yours. Service is quick and great! Kaeo studios is so very convenient and they are in the heart so Waipahu. The karaoke vibe is great all around. They have modern technology that you get to use your own phone when picking songs. Great karaoke studio! We went there twice. The largest room had lots of space and chairs to sit on. There were 2 mics (one hang from the ceiling)! They provided a table for us to put our pupus on. Found this spot randomly after needing a place to go for a late night karaoke. We live on the west side & as soon as I saw the pictures of the place, it was very promising. We got to the place and it was sooo nice! Very aesthetically pleasing. The decor, ambiance, furniture. The karaoke machine was updated with SO MANY songs; songs you wouldn't find at other karaoke spots. My FAVORITE PART was the SOUND BOARD. No other karaoke place has that and it literally livened everything up and made things more fun. The owner and manager were also very friendly and hospitable. They gave us a tour of all the different rooms and explained their services. I told them that we would definitely be coming back and we already booked a room for my friend's birthday in April. If that already didn't say enough, we actually even went back the next day. The owner and manager were excited to see us and gave us the same friendly and hospitable service. It was worth it and it was very fun. I know this place will be a hit because as soon as I posted the place on instagram, many of my friends were asking about it & all I could say were good things & pushed them to check it out. If that isn't enough, another unique thing is that they offer FREE cup noodles and bottled drinks! No other place does this ever. It's a "little" thing, but it definitely makes the experience here even better than it already is & much more compared to other places. 10/10 recommend! read more
