The service was excellent and the food was good. Definitely a step above typical pub fair That said, I found it to be a bit excessive. The guests are charged for parking while actively patronizing the restaurants and businesses on site even more frustrating. If you don't properly scan and register your parking you will receive a $49 to start out with a ticket as my son unfortunately, learned the hard way. you think if you patronize an establishment they would validate your parking so you don't have to pay. As for the dining experience, monkeypod promotes a local farm to table concept, and the quality of the ingredients seem to support that the food was enjoyable and the Service was outstanding just be prepared for the price tag. Our Bill for seven people was around 500 so while it was good a good meal it certainly wasn't inexpensive. Overall, I recommend the monkey pod for atmosphere service and quality food. Just go in knowing that both parking and dining come in a premium.

We went on a Saturday, getting to the resort before 4:30 and then up we went with our special key from the front desk. We didn't have to use the key. When we got to the room, it is unassuming as it blends in with other rooms...except not. Followed the instructions on the door and it was so cool we closed the door and video taped it. I think it threw off the people working as they expected patrons. The walk in the hallway threw me off a little but after you walk through the small room...WOW. All I had to say was WOW. Because I had no expectation everything was so exciting. There was a "rooftop bar" feel to the place and the view was so nice. (Although I could do with less tree-view) It would have been nice to have been early enough to get seats at the railing but we didn't know you could get there before 4:30 and there was already a few groups there. Seating is first come first serve so we opted for a high top table tucked in the back that the 4 of us could sit and chat but still enjoy the view. I took a few photos but mostly enjoyed the ambiance and the girl talk. I don't know why I thought there would be light pupus but nope, no food. Just some olives and nuts. I wish I took photos of the drink selection menu because I don't remember what was in my drink. The names of the cocktails were fun though! I enjoyed a "Lifted 'Yota" which was fun and tasty. They also serve mocktails if you don't want to have the alcohol. All in all, I loved the experience we had and my friends and I look forward to coming back. I mean, there's an extensive beverage list and I must try something else!

Our stay was at the beginning of May when the main pool was closed so the infinity pool was always packed with kids. There was an adult only pool that was always quiet and relaxing. We mainly stayed there for the most part. Food around the resort was good, but expensive. We did the luau, which was fun but very expensive and I would never pay that much again. We did it because it was on property and convenient. I think I booked it the first day I could 90 days out or something. It's open bar and prime rib, and some Hawaiian food. The lazy river is fun, and snorkeling in the reef was a blast. It was not cold at all.. took the free ukulele lessons, which was about a half an hour just to get the hang of it. Get the refillable cup it's worth the money. Also, buy a popcorn bucket and get three dollar refills. Try the breakfast flatbread ($20) at Ulu cafe-so yummy, and they have a daily special that we tried for dinner and it was so good! Ordered the lobster roll at the pool from Off The Hook, so worth it!! Also, don't forget the shaved ice! Reserve a cabana, very relaxing and fun. Casabella's by beach are directly in sun most of the day, so beware.

I don't believe they would give a public parking lot at all, but the state of Hawaii made them. The whole vibe of the place is to squeeze you for every dime. The actual water in the ocean in front of the hotel is cloudy murky and filthy with debris. I'm staying in Waikiki right across from the beach. The water is transparent. I've tried to go there three times didn't want to go the last time, but my niece and my adult children wanted to go. I had to pay $40 for parking because they're tiny public. Lots were all full. The whole place stinks of entitlement. I told my wife this is the last time I'm coming here.

The best on island, better than Leonard's in my opinion. The dough was so soft and bread was sweet, no toughness at all. The food was good, my daughter had waffles, a drink, malasada and fruit that came with her meal. She was so happy and so was I. The characters are great with interaction. I noticed them interacting with everyone, not just the standard hi and bye but went above and beyond to make experiences at each table. They made us feel special. There was live music, she also interacted with the crowd and her singing just elevated the entire experience. This place is not only for food, but to experience the Disney magic and I definitely felt that here. A must if you're staying at Aulani.

I never have done the character breakfast so this review is purely for their dinner experience. I kinda wish though that they change up the menu more as I recall the menu not changing much each time we visit. The dinner menu is a set 3 course meal where you have to pick an appetizer, main entree, and dessert. The kids have a set 3 course meal to choose from as well. This time I ordered their ahi tuna special, which so happened to be the special over 2 years ago lol! I chose their corn chowder as my appetizer and honestly after the cheesy bread rolls and soup, I was pretty stuffed by the time my entree came. It was still a lot of food, and I only took like 3 bites before o threw in the towel. As for the dessert, I chose the dulce de leche cheesecake, which deviates from the usual Mickey brownie with ice cream that I ordered. I still prefer the brownie now that I've tried both. Ambiance is nice and I actually prefer the outdoor seating because I find the architecture and landscape of the resort so beautiful. Overall a solid Disney dining experience, with large portions all around. Definitely worth trying at least once especially if you're staying at the resort!

It's a beautiful outdoor and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't quite live up to the location. I ordered the fish and chips, while my boyfriend went with the Maine lobster eggs Benedict. We waited a long time for the food to come out, probably well over an hour. While I know it was a holiday and they were very busy, it still felt excessive. When my fish and chips arrived, it was a bit sad looking for the price. The fish itself was good with the tartar sauce, but the plate consisted of just two small pieces of fish and a modest serving of fries. On a more positive note, my boyfriend enjoyed the lobster eggs Benedict and had no complaints about his dish. Other people in our party though the food was just ok. Our server was nice in the beginning, but service became less attentive after our food arrived. We had to tag her down to get additional assistance or check-ins Since we came on a busy holiday, it's possible we caught the restaurant on an off day. However, between the long wait, portion size, and inconsistent service, the experience didn't quite justify the cost. While it's a very nice and higher-end restaurant, there are other brunch spots that offer better value and a more memorable dining experience.
