Loved our dinner experiences here while we were staying at Aulani! Starting at 6pm they have live music until 9. Different rotation of bands every day. Our server Shauna was so kind and got her both days. Sweetest lady and helped us with decisions on menu items each day, and never disappointed!
We went here twice (not by my choice, once would've been enough). But the first night was great, our server, Shauna from KĂNEOHE was friendly, we had the Steak Bites, side of rice and PUA'A KĀLUA GRATIN (that was very good)!! Second time we had the pork sliders (mushy and tasteless) and the Bang Bang fries and dulce de leche cheesecake that were also not full of flavor. Glad we came the first night, regretted the second. There's live music there in the evening which was nice and very relaxing, and one of the reasons we went.
We really enjoyed finding this place on our trip. The donuts are fantastic. It's a real treat and a little bit different than normal but not the same to be awesome but even more awesome with the additional differences. Coffee drinks are available easily and they're very tasty and good.
Delicious place to enjoy malasadas and coffee or sushi, drinks, and tapas. We really enjoyed our steak bites here and listened to live music while eating. The servers were kind and friendly and the drinks were really interesting. Price is high but KoOlina in general is pricy. Highly recommend this spot; probably my favorite in ko Olina.
We vacation at Aulani every summer and regrettably this is only the second time we've dined here. Out of all the meals we've eaten on our trip, we ranked The Olelo Room in our top two. Our server, Ui, was AMAZING!!! She was very attentive and took great care of us. We ordered three drinks, Bang Bang Fries, Miso Soup, California Roll, Godzilla Roll, Beef Sliders, Kalua Pork Sliders and two desserts. Everything was EXCELLENT!!! The bonus to our dining experience was the live Hawaiian music! It starts at 6:00 PM. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!!!
We did the Olelo room for breakfast. They offer hot malasadas individually, as a 6 pack, and as a 12-pack. We did the 6 pack figuring there were only 2 of us and 3 malasadas each would have been plenty. We were wrong. They pair so so so well with hot coffee. I haven't had a breakfast treat so good in my life, and I don't expect to again (unless I ever get to Portugal or back to Hawaii)

The pond and koi pond were a huge hit with the kids (they basically wanted to move in and live there). Meanwhile, I'm over here soaking in the island vibes like, "Yes... this is my life now." Now let's talk FOOD We ordered: Cheeseburger sliders Chicken tenders with fries Sushi Ice cream for dessert Everything was SO GOOD. Like, no misses. And can we talk about the ketchup shaped like Mickey Mouse ears?? Because Disney understood the assignment. Cute + delicious = instant happiness. The customer service deserves a standing ovation . They were so attentive, super kind, and AMAZING with our kids (even our poor little tired ones ). We felt so taken care of the entire time. Price range: This is resort pricing but totally worth it. Most food items are around $14-$22, drinks are typical resort prices, and honestly the experience makes it worth every penny . Hours: Usually open evenings (around 5:00 PM-10:00 PM), with live music at night, which makes it the perfect dinner + entertainment combo . Pro tips / What I recommend: Come at night for the live music Sit near the pond if you have kids Order a mix of sliders, sushi, and drinks Leave room for dessert (trust me ) Bottom line: Absolutely loved everything. Kaimana the female manager at olelo room and her staff need to learn a lot about customer service. We had a group of 11 all but a disabled aunty parked at the lagoons. They refused to validate my disabled aunties valet parking because her receipt wasn't $100 or more. How sad
The Olelo Room was really delicious. They serve small plate dishes. We really liked the steak bites. The spicy teriyaki sauce complimented the steak's flavor really well. Our server was really good and made this a great experience.
It's always nice to visit the Aulani resort when I come to Oahu. The Olelo is a great place to share some dishes and have a few drinks while "talking story". It's a bit overpriced but it's a Disney resort so it's expected. We split a couple of sushi rolls which were good, sliders that were underwhelming (I don't recommend them. Dry and unappetizing) and a pineapple cobbler that was pretty decent. The fries are great. My pina colada was mixed really well. Not overly sweet and the correct amount of alcohol. Service is always great. The servers are always pleasant and check on you to make sure you're having a positive experience. They always have a pair of musicians providing entertainment playing mellow Hawaiian music in the background. A relaxing way to spend a few hours on a warm summer evening.
Came here for the first time with my friends. Everyone knows and loves Leonard's Malasadas, but my friends swear by the Olelo's Malasadas being either just as delicious or even better whaaaaaat. Anyways, we order about 10 malasadas. They're definitely larger than Leonards. In fact, they look like the buns used for the McDonald's hamburgers. Anyways, it is very delicious as well and even more so when it's warm. We basically smashed most of the box within minutes lol. Overall, definitely something to grab while you're here. I probably wouldn't drive all the way here to pick it up, but I'd say it's delicious in its own way so I can't really compare the 02 malasada shops, but at least one doesn't have a crazy long line and another has the beautiful surroundings of Disney characters. The staff were fast and friendly. Parking is located in their paid parking garage, but don't forget to validate your ticket. Lots of tables in and around the Aulani Hotel. If you're not a guest of the hotel, I believe you're not allowed outside so be mindful of that.
Casual hotel lounge offering cocktails & small plates, plus live Hawaiian music & an outside patio. We sat indoors by the bar area on the ground floor, the view is awesome to look outside too! I was so full and tired from all the events, I just got the karage chicken and a bowl of rice. It was so GOOD and hit the right spot!!! The server was friendly and attentive.
What a wonderful evening!! Loved the vibes. We came here for dinner after watching the sunset at the lagoon. We weren't super hungry but so glad we came. For drinks, we loved the pineapple ginger mocktail, the lychee martini, and a gorgeous pineapple IPA. For dinner, the star of the show was the steak bites- melted in your mouth with crisp pickled onions! Loved the Godzilla roll. Also enjoyed the spicy edamame and the pork au gratin. Chrissy helped us and she was just phenomenal... made our evening! We loved today. It was the perfect place to end our night in Oahu!
Four times this past week, allocated onsite at the Aulani. Fantastic service, great menu, food and drinks, great vibe and ambiance, and last night got to watch Kata Maduli, Del Beazley and Dwight Kanae perform. !!!!! Special mahalo nui loa to Mikey at the bar explaining how the brown shirted staff are actually fluent in Hawaiian and take special classes offered on site.. Doesn't get better than this. read more

Once in a while we come here to kick back n relax. We had the kalua pork sliders, keki chicken tenders with fries n the Mickie brownie ice cream. Everything tasted great. The lychee drink was great n my tap beer was awesome. The place is super clean n our server, she was awesome n great customer service and very polite and friendly. They male you feel comfortable n like home. read more

We went for an early-ish dinner and greatly enjoyed the experience! The sushi was good, albeit on the pricier side, even for Aulani. My husband got the burger sliders and enjoyed those as well. Our server was warm and efficient. The real star of the show is the restaurant itself! The inside is so beautiful with all of the wood and Hawaiian words listed as the alphabet. There are seats both inside and outside and you can't go wrong with either. read more

Small seating area for something to drink. In the morning, they offer a house-made Malasadas for $5 each or 1/2 dozen for $28 as of the date of this review. They're heavenly, puffy pillows of deliciousness. They then close until 5pm. We did not have the opportunity to try their food in the evening, but if it's anything like their Malasadas, I'm sure it's delicious. read more

As a local, we love the Olelo Room. All staff speak Hawaiian, the menu, the decor, everything highlights the Hawaiian language and has clear intentions of teaching and educating its consumers. The live musicians that play here are all local artists who are known as some of the best Hawaiian musicians that our islands can offer. We always come to support Uncles Jukebox and Nick Lum (from the band Keauhou). The sweetest getaway from everyday life for locals or the best way to experience Hawaiian language when on vacation. The food is all sushi or appetizers but more than enough selections to have a full meal. The drink selection and cocktail selection is expansive and they have something for everyone... even the servers are pretty knowledgeable with suggestions if you're unsure of what to get. I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy! Of course it's pricey but understandable considering where you are and the ambiance provided. Definitely a splurge but I think it's worth it. read more

Walked in at 8 pm and there was no wait. They have beautiful decor with the wood carvings labeled in Hawaiian. The carvings were really cute, tying Disney characters in some of the figurines. The patio seating was relaxing with dimmed lighting at the tables. The biggest surprise was that they feature famous local musicians every evening. On our visit, Jerry Santos was performing! We got to see him perform so many songs that we grew up with, in person! The appetizers and drinks were all great, some of which carried over from the Makahiki menu. So fun to have that intimate setting to enjoy local music and good food. read more
Walked in at night on a weekend without reservations. Lots of seating in the lounge/ bar area. I liked the ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant. Service was also great. Just didn't care for the food. It was typical hotel food. If you are a sushi/sashimi lover, maybe don't get the Moriawase Platter. The salmon didn't taste fresh. read more
This was such a great atmosphere for a cute date night! We were seated as walk-ins within just five minutes. Our waitress was so kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for both food and drinks. The live music really added to the overall vibe -- it made the evening feel extra special. They even surprised us with some to-go cookies to celebrate our babymoon and birthday! It was such a thoughtful touch. I would definitely come back here again. read more

The service and ambiance were wonderful. Live music was playing which was a nice touch. The special cocktails weren't anything amazing but the food was excellent and super fresh. The sushi rolls were great and the spicy edamame was so good. The cheesecake for desert was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. read more
This review is strictly for the malassadas that they sell here in the morning. They also have a fancier coffee carafe to fill up your reusable cup, which is nice. The Portuguese donuts were not cheap by any means, typical resort prices. But the donuts were big and fluffy, very delicious and filling. So we came at least twice to get a half dozen in the morning. They were a big hit with the kids. This is the same done it that they serve you at the character breakfast at the start except you can purchase as many as you like :) read more
Here for appetizers and sushi. Got the Au Gratin pork, cheeseburger sliders, Miso soup, Karaage Chicken and Mac & Cheese. Sliders were perfect just on the edge of medium so still juicy. Karaage chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, the benefit of thigh meat. Service was outstanding so this was a great experience read more

We absolutely love Olelo Room at Aulani Resort! The seafood is fantastic, and the Mai Tais are top-notch. We especially enjoy sitting outside on the patio, listening to live music from local musicians while watching the beautiful sunset. We've tried almost everything on the menu, and everything has been amazing. If you're there, I highly recommend the sliders and the Kona coffee cheesecake--both are absolutely delicious! Definitely one of our favorite spots to relax and enjoy great food. read more
I'm happy to report that I had several "hoʻokipa" (great) experiences at this bar. It is a great atmosphere that will teach you some of the Hawaiian language on one side and that gives a view of the pool area on the other. At night it gets busy and you'll probably be on the waiting list, but it's worth it for the atmosphere, live music, great drink selection, and foods including a sushi bar. read more
What went well, ambiance was charming with hand carved images of common Hawaiian words and matching images. Beautiful wooden bar and comfortable bar seating. We really enjoyed the bartenders who explained their signature concoctions and ingredients. They steered us to an excellent Godzilla sushi roll and the kaulua pork dip appetizer. Cocktails were flawless and tasty. Food came quickly. The bartenders never stopped moving, they were very busy all night long. read more
This is a great little spot. My wife and I had dinner here on our third night. We had an amazing server that was engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fantastic. The fish is very fresh and the spicy tuna roll was soooo good. read more

The service was incredible. And it was Absolutely the best sushi we have had. The drinks were amazing as well. We ordered a Mai Thai, Liliko'i-Lada, Godzilla roll & the Spicy Tuna Avocado roll. Our waiter was so helpful with any questions and kind which just made this whole birthday dinner better. read more

Food was great, we had a couple sushi rolls, the cheeseburger sliders & steak tips one night. Our sever was amazing, wish I could remember her name, I just know she had beautiful blue eyes & a pretty smile. This is our go to place for ambiance & live music when at Aulani. Finally tried this restaurant bar at Aulani Hotel. The drinks were amazing, and I loved the decor, which features Hawaiian words paired with their meanings--a great way to learn about Hawaiian history and language while enjoying a craft cocktail. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking for both an excellent drink and a cultural experience. read more

Sat at the bar, ordered appetizers and drinks, service was amazing. Bartenders are very attentive. Prize wise, you are at a Disney resort, don't expect cheap. Food was 5/5 Drinks 5/5 read more
