The bar we can sit and have something to eat
    Ron S.

We ate at the 808 café two times we are in Hawaii. The food was good. I had chicken tenders and french fries fries. He had coconut shrimp. The customer service was outstanding. They maid sure we had everything we needed at our table and our drinks refilled several times. The ambience was nice open seating TVs in music.

This was a weird dining experience. It was incredibly rushed and the food looked nothing like the website. The dishes I tasted were very bland and basic. Our waitress was awesome and the actual facility looked very clean and scenic. I'd award them 5 stars. (My butter knife was rusty so I didn't use it for my "chicken pasta"). The overall experience wasn't that bad but I think there are better options in the casual dining realm to choose from. I don't have much else to say. Visit and check it out yourself.

The Fried Brussels Sprouts were our favorite, and it was not even close. The Portugese Sausage is a wonderful addition, and would be the reason that we return. The pizza crust was really light and airy, despite looking like more of a dense, deep dish. The fries came out fresh and had a good crunch while being fluffy on the inside. Eat them while theu are hot! The drinks were strong and the service was cordial and quick.

Loved the ambiance. There were empty tables and we were asked if we had reservations. We didn't so we were asked to sit at the bar. At first, I was perplexed. This is a sports bar. But, Dave was our bartender and he was amazing. This guy is so cool and funny. I was happy that we sat at the bar afterwards. He said the burgers and wings were good. I ordered the appetizer wings as my meal and ordered half each of the sauces and they were scrumptious! I paired it with a Hawaiian blonde beer and it was perfect. Hubby had the prime rib French dip. He said it was good but there was not a lot of meat on the sandwich. He upgraded for the onion rings. They were so good! We were staying at Aulani. I highly recommend trying this place. If you can, sit at the bar and ask for Dave!! Enjoy!

808 Craft House allows you to make reservations in advance. They're one of the few restaurants in the area that will. This is a great place to go and eat. Be forewarned, the local moco is two patties so it's really big and could feed two people. Our group recommends you get a burger instead of the pizza. If you need to use the restroom, you'll have to go outside of the hotel and use the one that has a code that you'll need to get from the restaurant.

Ambiance Outdoor patio seating perfect weather. Rate 5 Customer Service Jessica our server was top shelf, friendly and kept checking on us. Rate 5 Food Bob's Smashed Burger Very good, quality beef. Rate 5 Pepperoni Pizza Did not appear to have tomato sauce. Spicy Sausage Pizza Did not appear to have tomato sauce. Was not spicy, per web site suppose to have jalapeños and drizzled honey and pizza had neither. This is the worst pizza we have ever had. Domino's and Little Cesar's are way better. Not worth $25. This sunk my overall rating. Rate 1

Located in the Ko Olina shopping center across from Aulani, paid parking requires. Reservations available on open table along with indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We stopped on for dessert - delicious options! Can't wait to come back and try a few items off the menu.

We had a great lunch here right after opening. I loved the open air vibe and all the tvs made it easy to keep up with the sports of the day. Food and beers were great! The smash burger was good. I really liked the wings. We got them half and half but they truly weren't too spicy.

We made reservations about 2 hours before and they sat us pretty quickly. We ordered two 808 Smashburgers, the Mochiko chicken Caesar and a garden side salad. The food was ok nothing to write home about. It's open air outside seating and definitely that bar feeling with 5 TVs on and playing sports. Lorraine was our server and she was friendly but it seemed like she was the waitress for the whole restaurant. No complaints.

In Hawaii for a couple of weeks, the 808 Craft House is within walking distance to our resort. We made reservations for 4 and were seated immediately upon our arrival. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. It was Monday and football was on all the screens and the Eagles had a large number of fans present which added to our entertainment. I had the Coconut Shrimp with Pineapple fried rice, it was excellent. They have a great assortment of Hawaiian craft cocktails and my wife had a Lava Flow, that looked delicious. Highly recommend this place for a nice meal and a couple of cocktails!

    Hummus dish. veggies to dip.

As with most spots in Ko Olina, my main gripe is the parking--none of the restaurants validate, so you're paying by the half-hour just to eat. That makes it hard to linger and really enjoy. That said, we finally checked out 808 Craft House after passing it many times, thanks to a gift card from a friend. Monday evening was quiet, with the same football game playing on every TV. Service was polite and attentive without being overbearing. We started with a couple of beers and the hummus. It was fine, though I would've preferred more pita bread and fewer veggies on the side--pita would have elevated it. The hummus was quite thin. For my main dish, I had the hulihuli chicken. The glaze was tasty, but the star of the plate was the mango slaw--super flavorful and refreshing. On the flip side, the two scoops of plain white rice didn't add much to the meal. A garnish or light seasoning would have gone a long way. We would've loved to stick around for a few more beers and maybe even dessert but with parking running, it just didn't feel worth it. Overall, we're glad we tried it. Solid service and a couple of good bites, but it didn't land on our "must-return" list.

The food and service were incredible !! We had the pretzel & calamari to start and then the steak frites for our entree and s'mores cake for dessert! The hanger steak with the thyme butter was phenomenal!! The s'mores cake too! Our server Charity was the best ! She was so friendly and helpful and on top of everything ! Definitely the best place we have been in the area! Will definitely be back whenever we are in town!!

Bavarian pretzel with jalapeño beer cheese and mustard sauce
    Mindy P.

Great place for happy hour or a beer and some reasonably priced food near the hotels in Ko Olina. Lots of tables in an open-air, covered setting. If it's hot out, the breeze comes through. Service was excellent, from the hostess, to the server (Charity) and maybe a manager who stopped by to check on us. Select draft beers are $7, wines are 20% off, and well drinks are discounted (I can't remember the price). Theres also a discount on select appetizers and pizzas with 2 toppings. This is the happy hour special. They don't have a ton of beers on tap, but they have a lot in cans. I got the porter and my husband got the IPA (not on HH). Hubs loves a good smash burger and there was one on the HH so he tried it. I got the Bavarian pretzel with jalapeño beer cheese and mustard sauce, of which I'm a bit of a connoisseur. The pretzel and cheese were wicked good! The pretzel came out piping hot and was slightly crispy and buttery on the outside, with the perfect amount of salt and soft and chewy on the inside, just like I like it. The cheese was very tasty. The only thing is they never give you enough cheese, so I asked for another. Here's what the hubs said about the smash burger. The burger was overcooked (too crispy and dry) and it should have had 2 Pattie's for the bun-to-meat ratio. He said the bun was good but not for a smash burger. It was too big, not squishy enough. The fries were excellent! He gave the burger itself 2, which is what brought the review down. Worth trying this place, just maybe skip the smash burger.

Spacious. Great spot for large parties even though it was only my date and me. It's Ko Olina so on the second floor it's open air seating which can be bad if you are facing the sun at sunset. I had the fish & chips which we just ok. The fish was fine. It was well cooked and crispy. But the fries were completely sogging and gross. I mean they tasted ok but who likes to eat limp, soggy fries? My date had the poke tacos as her main and she enjoyed them. We also did this chocolate creme pie for dessert which was pretty good. All in all, i would say i much prefer the Waikiki location. Perhaps it was just a busy night for the cooks, but I don't know if I'd give them another shot. On the plus side, since it's ko olina there was plenty of parking around but because it's ko olina it's expensive to park.

We went on a Saturday, getting to the resort before 4:30 and then up we went with our special key from the front desk. We didn't have to use the key. When we got to the room, it is unassuming as it blends in with other rooms...except not. Followed the instructions on the door and it was so cool we closed the door and video taped it. I think it threw off the people working as they expected patrons. The walk in the hallway threw me off a little but after you walk through the small room...WOW. All I had to say was WOW. Because I had no expectation everything was so exciting. There was a "rooftop bar" feel to the place and the view was so nice. (Although I could do with less tree-view) It would have been nice to have been early enough to get seats at the railing but we didn't know you could get there before 4:30 and there was already a few groups there. Seating is first come first serve so we opted for a high top table tucked in the back that the 4 of us could sit and chat but still enjoy the view. I took a few photos but mostly enjoyed the ambiance and the girl talk. I don't know why I thought there would be light pupus but nope, no food. Just some olives and nuts. I wish I took photos of the drink selection menu because I don't remember what was in my drink. The names of the cocktails were fun though! I enjoyed a "Lifted 'Yota" which was fun and tasty. They also serve mocktails if you don't want to have the alcohol. All in all, I loved the experience we had and my friends and I look forward to coming back. I mean, there's an extensive beverage list and I must try something else!

The booking was very straightforward, they don't charge a space rental fee as long as your party spends at least $1000 on food and drinks altogether. Ashley was our server for the night and she did amazing! I was bothering her and Kiki and asking them questions all night and they were so nice and patient the entire time. Parking was good, and the overall vibe was chill, though it did get a bit noisy. The biggest issue was the condition of the restaurant. The place felt pretty run down. The floors were very dirty, the seats were torn and patched with electrical tape, and the windows were so dirty that we actually thought the restaurant had shut down one day when we were walking by. The bathrooms were also pretty gross, even for a casual bar/restaurant. I wanted to like it more because the food itself was good, but the cleanliness and upkeep really took away from the experience. They definitely need to do a better job maintaining the place. I'd probably only return if I heard they had cleaned up and refreshed the entire restaurant.
