I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. I had a very good conversation with the owner of the restaurant who is by far the most nicest and kind hearted person. The place was very kept up to date very clean. Food portions was awesome. I love their potato salad, and I also had their fries with the sauce on top and extra sauce to go. I had the hamburger steak plate and my friend got the fried noodle special. Hamburger steak was delicious. Generous portions and savory brown gravy with mushrooms. The fried noodle special was fried noodles with fries on top and a sauce of your choice. We clarified upon ordering what was in the fried noodles and we were told there was supposed to be char siu, kamaboko, and green onions. However, my friend's fried noodles were plain! The owner said it was similar to other nachos but I've never seen anything like it. We're staying at the resort and their nachos are the typical pork with salsa, guacamole, jalapeños with corn chips. But these were completely different. Great pork with tender juicy pieces and nice seasoning. The chips were fried wonton chips. The sauces were strong and tasty. It's hard to describe as the pictures don't do a good job either. I will say that it's hard to finish such a large portion with such strong flavors but if you're sharing after a long day on the waves this is the perfect group appetizer. I'm not a Loco moco person but my wife said it was really really good. The location is something we drove right by. It's not well lit from a dark highway and easy to miss if this is your first time. There's not a lot of seating inside as it's a very cozy local joint. I did not expect such good food from a local dive on the west side but the reviews make sense now.
