Came here for a graduation party. It is a beautiful spot ocean front. You have to go through the security gate. They ask for your registration, insurance, and license, if anything is not updated you aren't allowed on the property. They have great local food and make fabulous drinks. We had their Lilikoi lemonade which was refreshing and not too sweet. I also tried their virgin moscow mule. I had to ask for more ginger beer and lime but it was good. They had shaded tables and very pretty views of the ocean. Their chicken long rice was super flavorful and my hubby enjoyed their pork and shrimp. Great place to come for good eats and a relaxing beach day.

D'lish at the Beach is hands-down one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The atmosphere is unbeatable. It's all outdoors with clean picnic tables, ocean waves sounds and plenty of space for kids to run around. Their menu changes daily, which keeps things interesting. My trick is to check their social media before heading over to see what's on. Our favorite is Taco Tuesday menu. The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and just the right portion size. Bonus points: there's a little bookshelf tucked around the corner with a few kids' books. Great thing if you need to entertain your little ones. The staff is always warm and welcoming, everyone behind the counter is friendly and laid-back. Oh, and when you're done eating? Just walk a few steps to the beach and catch the sunset sky (and best lighting for pictures).

Came here for breakfast. The toasted everything bagel had cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, roasted tomatoes, and pickled red onion. It was pretty satisfying and the best dish we tried. The baked Spanish eggs consisted of 2 eggs in tomato sauce with chorizo, avo, queso fresco, and toast. The sauce was bland, just tomato with a bit of spice. Not enough toast to eat with it. The cheesecake stuffed Belgian waffle was a real let down. There was no cheesecake stuffing inside! The waffle was really thick, dry, and dense. I saw a bunch of the plain waffles sitting in a container that were premade. The view of the beach was really nice but eating outside does have some drawbacks. There was a big roach in the umbrella above one of the tables. Maybe lunch or dinner is better here?

This is the view that you get when you go on the shore right next to it!!

So, I've been here a few times since 2022, and each time I went, they served some really delicious food. I think it's really neat to have the concept of being able to rotate different menus throughout the week. When you order food, you'll be handed a buzzer that will let you know when your food is ready. In my experience, it takes no more than 10 minutes for your food to be ready for pick up. You receive your drinks almost instantaneously after you order. You're welcome to sit at any of the tables (there's a lot of them!), but seating does fill up fast, especially when there's a music performance in front of D'lish. If you're worried about not being able to find a seat, I recommend bringing your own beach chairs or a mat. You can set it down on the grassy part near the establishment or directly on the sand at the beach. Because the menu was different every time I went to D'lish, I have yet to try anything more than once. As a heads up, the drink menu stays the same, but sometimes, there are cocktails of the day that aren't part of the usual drink menu. Btw? They do not skimp out on the alcohol which is what I learned when I ordered the Adult Tropicana. I felt a slight buzz even though the drink itself practically tasted like juice. Be sure to check out D'lish's Facebook page to see announcements regarding the menu of the day. Some other things: - They do take card - There are public women's and men's restrooms on the side - They don't always have music performances but you can see announcements regarding it on their Facebook page - As I was leaving, it seemed like they also had a little library on the side of the establishment but I'm not too sure how it works.

Love D'lish! It's dog friendly, family friendly, has great rotating menu options, homemade desserts, and stunning beach views. Fun place for brunch/lunch with the family.

It's that time of year again to pound some German beers and German grindzzzz. Bebe girl and I went sample D'lish October Fest event and they didn't disappoint. Bruh they had some stuff on the menu I never could pronounce. Bebe girl and I ordered the extra large sausage and the biggest chicken patty on the Westside, both was mops. Was feeling kinda thirsty at 12pm so I went sample the October fest SIERRA NEVADA and bruh I got hammered, good thing I wasn't feeling punchy that day. Would've gave that one, two bbq. The place is right near the beach boiiiii.

Yay! I got to try this place out! Be prepared to be stopped at the guard shack- although they are very friendly! This eatery is located in a residential area, that is the need for the security. I appreciate that there wasn't a wait and the employees were very friendly and pleasantly answered my questions. We did customize our orders without any hassle and they were served as ordered. I'm sorry, my croissant sandwich looked so good that I took a few bites before I remembered to take a snapshot of it. Yes, it was as good as it looked. Delicious and filling! My husband and I both could not finish our sandwiches. He had the breakfast sandwich. It's an order at the counter and find your own seat. The seating is right along the beach, which I appreciated. Tables are plentiful for this venue, and each has a large shade umbrella. Or if you don't mind sitting on raised stools, there are a few tables under the roof. The 4 vs 5 star is for the heat and flies. It's a nice and relaxing environment. If it wasn't so hot, we would've stayed to finish our coffee- which was great, as well. Hopefully, when it cools down I'll be able to sample the lunch menu.

We went on burger night and it did not disappoint. It was a great casual spot on the beach with delicious food and drinks. Family friendly and a very relaxing spot away from all the hustle and bustle.

Ask the Community - D'lish At The Beach

Can u swim in the pool or on the beach?

The pool is for residents only. And I'm not sure about the beach being only for residents but it's so rocky you can barely get in the water. People don't really swim there unless they're paddle boarding or something.

Is This Restaurant Accessible To Everyone Or Is It Military Access Only?

It's located within a gated community. You'll have to stop at the guard shack to let them know that you're going to D'Lish. Then you'll drive until you see what looks like a concession stand on the beach...and you're there.

Unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The bartender has always seemed friendly, but the waitresses have been cold and often come across as rude. We usually want to come here, but the service makes it a hard sell sometimes. We'd love to bring more visiting family and friends here, but it's honestly a 50/50 decision because we never know what kind of service we'll get. The food is decent, but nothing that really stands out. The coconut shrimp and onion rings are both good, and the drinks are definitely a highlight. The piña colada is honestly one of the best we've had. For our family of five, plus two beers and one piña colada, lunch came to about $175 including tip. That's pretty expensive, so we only come on rare occasions. At that price point, we'd expect warmer, friendlier service. We initially gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed we had visited on off days, but after several visits--including this past Friday with many of the same waitresses--we've found the service to be consistently cold and unwelcoming.

Months before my trip to Oahu, I tried to book a reservation to Bar Leather Apron but was unable to…read moredo so because the reservations were immediately scooped up right as they were released. To my surprise, on a Sunday evening after having dinner nearby at Maze, my wife and I walked over to Bar Leather Apron and we were able to get seated right away! In fact, around 7:30 p.m. when we stopped by, there was actually a ton of seating available in the bar. Who would've guessed. If you're in the same boat as me and are unable to find a reservation for your upcoming visit, I would encourage you to stop by and try a walk-in. The first page of the menu lists a wide variety of whiskey based cocktails. Most -- if not all, of the cocktails are pre-fixed with BLA (Bar Leather Apron), and represent a collaboration with the named distillery. If you're fan of whiskey, you'll definitely have a difficult time picking only one. I ultimately ordered their "Take Warning" -- 2021 BLA Knob Creek BLA Single Barrel, Cynar, Carpano Antica, Mezcal, Bergamot Salt. Drinks here are not cheap -- averaging $20 to $25 per drink. Although my drink was very spirit forward, it still felt very well balanced. I appreciated the hint of smokiness from the mezcal that rounded out the end of a sip. Service here quick and friendly. When we received the check, a cute small chocolate snack was brought over as well, borrowed from the menu at Maze. Overall, I can see why Bar Leather Apron has earned so many accolades in its field. Definitely worth a stop by if you enjoy the art of mixology.

Happy Hour in Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. We were nearby and decided to give Shark's Den Bar and Grill a try. It's quite spacious, clean, and pleasantly decorated (with many bunnies)! Located in the Airport Honolulu Hotel, customers get 4 hours of validated parking! Service was very friendly and welcoming! We were allowed to sit anywhere, so we were near to the pool, but could still feel some air-conditioning. We should have stayed away from the open-air side of the restaurant to possibly avoid the flies. We enjoyed being served by Rosie, the robot! Since we were there during Happy Hour (between 2pm and 5pm), we shared one of each item: a flatbread pizza (truffle and Hamakua mushroom), hamburger (shortrib and chuck blend) with fries, and a Trio of Tacos (chicken, pork, and braised short ribs). I liked the fries and the flatbread pizza the most. The breakfast buffet looks interesting. We should return for it some day...

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/STALE FOOD/DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS VETERANS…read more On 7/30/2026, I ate at Shark's Den Bar & Grill because my flight was delayed and by the time I checked into the Airport Honolulu Hotel it was already close to 8:00 p.m. I was scheduled for surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center the next morning and had been instructed to stop eating at 9:00 p.m., so I didn't have time to look for another restaurant. As advertised by the business, the restaurant is "located in the Honolulu Airport Hotel." Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After being seated, a couple who arrived after me were greeted and had their orders taken before anyone acknowledged me. It wasn't a great first impression. I ordered the loco moco and requested the eggs be cooked over easy. The server then asked how I wanted my hamburger patty cooked, which caught me off guard. I've ordered loco moco many times over the years and had never been asked that before. Seeing my confusion, the server suggested serving the burger medium then I agreed. When my meal arrived it was around 830pm and the eggs were cooked medium instead of over easy. The bigger issue, however, was the rice. The texture was very inconsistent...some bites were stale and crunchy, others were chewy, and some grains even stuck to my teeth. It gave the impression that the rice wasn't freshly prepared. Given the restaurant's convenient location for airport travelers, I was hoping for a quick, satisfying meal before my surgery. Unfortunately, the questionable service and disappointing food quality made for a less-than-ideal dining experience. I hope they can improve both their service and consistency in the kitchen. This restaurant also advertises having "live music", but on the Thursday night I was there, they had karaoke. Restaurants should not advertise karaoke as "live music" because the terms describe two entirely different customer experiences. Update (7/31/2026): After posting this review, the server, Rutilio A., sent a "compliment" to me, here on Yelp, stating: "Questionable service??? (3 laughing emojis) bless your little heart. Please note that unless you are ordering loco moco out of a truck most RESTAURANT that don't serve frozen patties will give you the option on how you would like it cooked. Can't wait to see your review of your surgery. (Thumbs up emoji)" Rutilio's comment to me actually reinforces why I described the service as "questionable." Customer service doesn't end when the check is paid...it also includes how a business and its employees respond to customer feedback. Rather than addressing my concerns about the flawed rice or how customers who arrived after me were greeted and had their orders taken before me, he chose to mock me with laughing emojis, a condescending "bless your little heart," and a sarcastic comment about my surgery. That isn't the response most customers would expect from someone representing a restaurant. His comment became additional evidence supporting my original observation and demonstrated the same lack of professionalism and customer care that led me to describe the service as questionable in the first place. I originally gave this restaurant a 2-star rating, but after the server Rutilio A (using the alias Tillo A.) personally attacked me with his "compliment" here on Yelp, I now give this restaurant a 1-star rating.
