We recently started going to the beach's in Iroquois and always seem to catch D'lish closed but today they were open so we had to grab a little fix while waiting for the sun to set. The menu was pretty cool as they have something different per day. We were able to stumble on their burger day. There was a variety of different burgers and we ordered the mushroom swiss and their bacon and egg burger. I definitely love a runny egg in my burger!! We also got a kids cheeseburger. All burgers came with fries. They'll give you a buzzer after you order so you can hang out at the beach or at the seating area near the restaurant. The food came out quick, there wasn't to many people at the time. The fries were crispy and the burgers looked stacked! Mushroom swiss is my go to and the mushrooms were cooked perfectly with the swiss cheese melted on top. The other burger with the bacon and egg was d'lish!! Staff are friendly and were able to answer my questions after the menu. Love the vibe with the palm trees and outdoor lights. Came here for a graduation party. It is a beautiful spot ocean front. You have to go through the security gate. They ask for your registration, insurance, and license, if anything is not updated you aren't allowed on the property. They have great local food and make fabulous drinks. We had their Lilikoi lemonade which was refreshing and not too sweet. I also tried their virgin moscow mule. I had to ask for more ginger beer and lime but it was good. They had shaded tables and very pretty views of the ocean. Their chicken long rice was super flavorful and my hubby enjoyed their pork and shrimp. D'lish at the Beach is hands-down one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The atmosphere is unbeatable. It's all outdoors with clean picnic tables, ocean waves sounds and plenty of space for kids to run around. Their menu changes daily, which keeps things interesting. My trick is to check their social media before heading over to see what's on. Our favorite is Taco Tuesday menu. The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and just the right portion size. Bonus points: there's a little bookshelf tucked around the corner with a few kids' books. Great thing if you need to entertain your little ones. The staff is always warm and welcoming, everyone behind the counter is friendly and laid-back. Oh, and when you're done eating? Just walk a few steps to the beach and catch the sunset sky (and best lighting for pictures). read more

Came here for breakfast. The toasted everything bagel had cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, roasted tomatoes, and pickled red onion. It was pretty satisfying and the best dish we tried. The baked Spanish eggs consisted of 2 eggs in tomato sauce with chorizo, avo, queso fresco, and toast. The sauce was bland, just tomato with a bit of spice. Not enough toast to eat with it. The cheesecake stuffed Belgian waffle was a real let down. There was no cheesecake stuffing inside! The waffle was really thick, dry, and dense. I saw a bunch of the plain waffles sitting in a container that were premade. The view of the beach was really nice but eating outside does have some drawbacks. There was a big roach in the umbrella above one of the tables. Maybe lunch or dinner is better here? read more

So, I've been here a few times since 2022, and each time I went, they served some really delicious food. I think it's really neat to have the concept of being able to rotate different menus throughout the week. When you order food, you'll be handed a buzzer that will let you know when your food is ready. In my experience, it takes no more than 10 minutes for your food to be ready for pick up. You receive your drinks almost instantaneously after you order. You're welcome to sit at any of the tables (there's a lot of them!), but seating does fill up fast, especially when there's a music performance in front of D'lish. If you're worried about not being able to find a seat, I recommend bringing your own beach chairs or a mat. You can set it down on the grassy part near the establishment or directly on the sand at the beach. Because the menu was different every time I went to D'lish, I have yet to try anything more than once. As a heads up, the drink menu stays the same, but sometimes, there are cocktails of the day that aren't part of the usual drink menu. Btw? They do not skimp out on the alcohol which is what I learned when I ordered the Adult Tropicana. I felt a slight buzz even though the drink itself practically tasted like juice. Be sure to check out D'lish's Facebook page to see announcements regarding the menu of the day. Some other things: - They do take card - There are public women's and men's restrooms on the side - They don't always have music performances but you can see announcements regarding it on their Facebook page - As I was leaving, it seemed like they also had a little library on the side of the establishment but I'm not too sure how it works. read more

I just made a post less than a week ago talking about how amazing this place was, I came back once again on Thursday. when we went back the menu was different so a helpful hints to know is they do switch out their menu I do not know how often but everything still looked delicious. This time I tried the mushroom Swiss burger. It was so ono I didn't let the camera eat first. We also tried some of their adult beverages. My boyfriend ordered the Moscow mule, and I ordered the dirty Shirley. I will say the drinks are about $11-$13 but they were definitely strong. I wasn't a huge fan, but that's also because I like my drinks on the sweeter side. Staff were once again super amazing and very friendly. Perfect for a quick bite to eat or a nice beach day. Yay! I got to try this place out! Be prepared to be stopped at the guard shack- although they are very friendly! This eatery is located in a residential area, that is the need for the security. I appreciate that there wasn't a wait and the employees were very friendly and pleasantly answered my questions. We did customize our orders without any hassle and they were served as ordered. I'm sorry, my croissant sandwich looked so good that I took a few bites before I remembered to take a snapshot of it. Yes, it was as good as it looked. Delicious and filling! My husband and I both could not finish our sandwiches. He had the breakfast sandwich. It's an order at the counter and find your own seat. The seating is right along the beach, which I appreciated. Tables are plentiful for this venue, and each has a large shade umbrella. Or if you don't mind sitting on raised stools, there are a few tables under the roof. The 4 vs 5 star is for the heat and flies. It's a nice and relaxing environment. If it wasn't so hot, we would've stayed to finish our coffee- which was great, as well. My son and daughter-in-law just moved to Iroquois Point - Kapilina Beach - and one of the benefits of the housing community is D'Lish at the Beach. Small, to-go eatery on the beach. Offers breakfast/brunch on the weekends. Dinner and drink (including cocktails) and live music during the week. Menu offerings change often so there's always something new to enjoy. D'lish also hosts numerous themed events throughout the year - like Italian Night, Taco Night, Halloween party, etc. We recently went to their Oktoberfest celebration and we throughly enjoyed the experience. They offered beer on tap, German inspired foods (such as pretzels, schnitzel, bratwurst, etc.) and an oompah band! Grab your food and drinks, find a quiet spot on the beach and enjoy the view and ocean breeze. Fantastic luxury to have. Extremely friendly staff. Accept credit cards. FYI, Kapilina Beach is a gated community. Although the beach is public, security can be a pain and the wait for entry can be irritating. read more

D'lish is a great little beach bar with way above average food and service. It's in a gated community but they will let you through if you tell them you are going to D'lish. It's super low key and feels miles away from busy Honolulu. Right on the beach, we had shrimp tostadas and they were crazy good. Makes for a pleasant stop on your way to or from the west side. read more

What an incredible hidden gem, both the location and the restaurant. We had the Smoked Ahi Melt and the Açaí bowl. The only thing better than the food was the view. I want to give an incredible review for D'lish, but at the same time, keep the secret so it doesn't get too busy and lose that simple "local" feel and taste. The staff was accommodating and cheerful and greeted everyone with a smile. The area was immaculate, which helped the experience. I will return and tell anyone I know who is traveling to Oahu and looking for a relaxing place off the beaten path. read more

Very nice folks who take your order and serve. The setting on the beach can't be beat!!! Great view of Diamond head and Honolulu. Ordered their individual pizza and a Mai Tai. Also my better half order the tropical smoothie. Both drinks were great. The pizza of the day was a bbq chicken with great mozzarella not a lot perfect balance either the sauce. And of course a sprinkle of greens on top. No table service. It's a tiki type place all seating is outside. Definitely will return. Sunsets have to be awesome. D'LISH is truly my "Happy place". It offers amazingly creative meals, unique cocktail creations, and tops it all off with a wide range of musical performances on weekend evenings. My husband has a food allergy and they take great pains to insure that the food is safe for him. It is truly a personsl and unique experience in a bucolic beach environment with fantastic views from Diamond head to the sunset. The beach is expansive and clean. Woke up to sunny weather on a Sunday morning after a few days of rain so I decided to take advantage of it and packed up the kids and husband to finally check out D'lish, and it's not aa easy as it seems with three under age four, but the experience was great. It wasn't too busy when we got there around 9:45am so we chose a shaded table and went up to order our food. There was a clear box of pastries near the register and my kids chose a nutella banana bread and a chocolate chip cookie, which I gladly bought to keep their stomachs full in case the food took long. It didn't! We ordered three dishes plus a macchiato and it came out pretty quickly, although I was entranced by staring at the waves while waiting for food. I liked that my kids could play and make noise without bothering anyone because it's a beach so you can't expect quiet but like I said, it sure felt peaceful hearing the sound of crashing waves so close to shore. The only downside was that after scarfing down food, my two year old said "i go beach" and headed straight for the sand while the hubby and I were still eating. I expect we'll be back again on the weekend soon because my kids were knocked out after full bellies and playing in the sand. That's a win-win for these tired parents. read more

A review for d'lish is long overdue! Ive been coming here for quite sometimes and while id have to say sometimes the menu items are hit or miss ive had several good experiences as well! I also loveee the drinks. It only takes about two before youre floating in air . The cashier is usually very friendly and remembered my name for the longest,until i took a decent sized break from the establishment, which I thought was impressive seeing as how many people frequent there! My only issue is with it being open air theres lots of flies buzzing in and around the place which I suppose is expected but i still dont want them landing on my foodThe cooks dont think its that big of an issue and once said "where theres seafood..theres gonna be flies" yeah sure but i dont want them landing in MY seafood. A local realtor recommended this local eat and we were glad we visited. It's the only way to get into the community beach if you don't live there. Once you drive in, the guards ask where you are headed. They take photo of your license plate and look at your license before allowing cars to enter. We grabbed a light bite and dipped our feet into the rocky white sand (lots of broken seashells). There is a shower to wash down your feet near the cafe kiosk and bathrooms as well. Very family friend and dog friendly. A few patio tables are available. Otherwise just head to the sand! Loved the avocado toast! Açaí bowl was standard good! read more

The service was horrible, the staff were extremely rude. They need to get their attitudes together and treat people with respect.

Today we came for Sunday breakfast. The trick is to tell the gate you're going to the restaurant and you get an all day parking pass and you can roll up to nice parking near the Cafe and better swimming areas. Wow! Just wow the food is high quality and delicious. It's amazing what they can create in this small beachside Cafe, 3 people working in there from what I can see. Breakfast was $37 though but it's the whole package. The ease of parking and no crowds on a beautiful sandy beach!!! They have an extensive coffee menu too. This is a gem I almost hate for it to catch on but I also hope this place stays forever. On Facebook they post their daily menu and happenings. We love this place and will be back to try Taco Tuesday, lunch and dinner. Or just get cocktails at sunset. read more
