This is one of my favorites to go eat in Ewa Beach I think I almost had everything on the menu but that day I wanted the hamburger steak wasn't delicious me and my son took my mom out for lunch we went there wasn't to busy, downside over there is the parking but other than that food is great and the service is awesome they have a restroom inside just ask, good place to go for lunch

Usually go there for the omelette, but I tried the pancake this time and it was a very large pancake, it wasn't fluffy it was more rubbery if you ask me. I had sausage to go with it and that was Ok, should have gotten an omelette instead.

A side order of Portuguese sausage. I would tell you how they tasted, but the 5 y.o. ate every piece.

Start the day right. I come here every now and then and seem to never have a favorite. That's because it's all good. Plus the specials always intrigued me to try it just by the name. Prices are higher than I'm used to but as my friend Terri tells everyone; "Good food ain't cheap and cheap food ain't good". This round was the Kountry Fried Streak and Adobo fried rice. Fried food in the morning is a must and that gravy puts it over the top. And the rice was spot on. The slight vinegar of the meat really was good. Overall four stars. Short hours is a small hassle and seeing MP makes it hard to budget.

Cozy little breakfast spot located in Ewa Beach, the decor reminds me of Kauai because of the country style chicken decor. This is our 3rd time visiting and I'm just now realizing I haven't reviewed this spot yet. Came here on a Friday morning closer to 9am and we were seated right away. Service was fast & friendly. I was craving some pancakes. I ordered the banana pancakes with a side of bacon and hubby ordered the 2 farm fresh egg meal with sausage, rice, and corn bread. I didn't expect the pancake to be larger than my head lol. It was a single pancake the size of a medium pizza. The texture wasn't light and fluffy, more on the chewy side but nevertheless delicious. Satisfied my pancake craving.

The food was delicious (understatement). We will be coming back here again and again. Our server was kind, patient, helpful, and attentive. The decor is so cute and curated well to fit their theme (even into the bathroom). If you have an opportunity to get pancakes, waffles, or French toast, you MUST get the homemade coconut syrup! The fruit was fresh and tastes just like fresh fruit should. My husband had the Kahlúa pork steak and eggs and inhaled it. Everything was cooked just right, the flavors went so well together and the lomi salmon was spot on.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and thankfully it wasn't too busy like most breakfast places. It's a cute little restaurant with some interesting decor (didn't get to take pics of that). My bf and I decided to each get the two egg breakfast and share the salty monkey waffle. The food was pretty good (like above average, but not like, THE best thing I've eaten). Prices I thought were a bit on the pricier side, but not unreasonable (I feel like most breakfast only places have higher prices compared to other places). Overall, I would come back here again though. **side note, when we came in, the market price for their corned beef plate was roughly $28 in case you're wondering.

Today's special...Kountry Fried Steak and eggs. WOW! Got there and was lucky enough to score an open table. Saw the specials board and knew exactly what I wanted. Fried steak was crunchy on yet tender and went well with the gravy. Corn bread was moist and went well with the plate. Will have to come back and try their homemade corned beef hash.

We got the loco moco, country fried steak, and avocado toast. The hamburger was really dry and there was only one patty. Most places I've eaten loco mocos, there's usually two and for the price of the plate, I thought for sure there would have been two patties. I also got the grilled cornbread, which was pretty dry. The country fried steak was two thin strips of steak with a fried chicken breading that I thought was pretty decent but was a little oily. The avocado toast was pretty underwhelming, just sliced avocado on a piece of dry bread, topped with greens, a very light dressing, and dry herbs. My boyfriend only took a couple bites and that was it. Service was okay at first. They seemed to be understaffed when we first got there then had more help as it got busier. However, they forgot to bring out the one drink we ordered so we ended up just canceling the drink altogether.

A group of my friends and I were eager to try a new breakfast spot, so we decided to visit Kapolei Kitchen. The place was cozy and charming, with a delightful decor that set the mood for our meal. As we settled in, we noticed that the restaurant was quite busy. It seemed like they were juggling multiple orders, but thankfully, our food arrived promptly. The kids' grilled cheese was a bit of a letdown, as it was the only dish that was delayed. We suspect that either the order was forgotten or the cheese was accidentally left out. Fortunately, everyone else's food arrived hot and delicious. To make matters worse, we had to ask for our orange juice, which was missing from our table. Our waitress, Dominique, wasn't particularly friendly, which added to our frustration. Perhaps she had a rough morning, but it certainly didn't make the dining experience any more enjoyable. Overall, our visit to Kapolei Kitchen was a bit of a mixed bag. The food was good, but the service was lacking. We'll probably give it another try in the future, but for now, we'll stick to more reliable breakfast spots.

This was the husband's choice for Father's Day. Understandably it was a little packed as the weight was about 30 to 45 minutes. He loves French toast, so of course he got the Ube French toast. I wasn't really planning on eating it, but not gonna lie when I tried it, it was really delicious! I went with the corn beef hash and eggs today. I got the cornbread on the side, but I did feel it was a little dry today. The restaurant mimics their Kauai location pretty well. And it really does give the island/country vibes. It's super cute and the workers were really friendly given that they were also really busy. Husband was happy and that's all that matters. We will probably be back again.

The corn beef hash is homemade and at market price I think it was more than worth it! I would definitely be back for that reason alone. I liked the taste of the steak but the cut was not good. It made a well cooked steak tough and uncomfortable to eat. The hash browns were delicious the perfect crisp on the outside but not burnt on the inside. I do with the cornbread came warmed up but we were too hungry to send it back. The service was great our waitress was so attentive and helped us order as it was our first time. Overall the meal was delicious, but this will have to be a once in a while treat due to the price.

Wow! Wonderful local diner style restaurant. Not only wonderful food and crazy friendly service (the young lady was running from table to table with a smile for everyone and so much energy), but the pictures of the chickens are hilarious. "Farm fresh butt nuggets"?!?!? Had us spurting coffee through our noses! We seriously cried laughing. I highly recommend the khalua pork breakfast sandwich. I could only get through half, but the onions are so sweet and the pork perfectly seasoned. Delish. My husband polished off his coconut French toast - not too sweet and our server gave us a coconut syrup that complimented it perfectly. No foo foo coffees, but what they have is solid. They do have lighter items on the menu - avocado toast, fruit, etc. but for the most part, heavier, homestyle food. Clean friendly and highly recommended. My son goes on his first deployment today, so I really appreciated the humor and kindness. Thank you!

First time trying Kountry Style Restaurant, we came in on a Saturday after 12pm I believe, my step dad recommended this place because he loves the biscuits and gravy. We don't live in ewa beach anymore and it so happen that we had a youth tackle football game on that side, we were told this restaurant is a must! As a side note we were the family that came in with the green Waimanalo jerseys, I say that cause upon getting our food to the table I spilt my water :| the staff was very helpful though and I believe the gyal that helped me clean up her name is kyra, I do remember going to school with her c/o 16 jchs but didn't say anything, just was nice to see a familiar face. However, we got sat down really quick and gotten our order taken pretty quick as well, the goal was to try the biscuits and gravy but I believe they no longer have that on the menu or they were out?? But I got the mushroom burger w/ waffle fries and the portion was good and the quality was great. The interior of the restaurant was def kountry, the diffrent art's of chickens were a very nice touch and the space of the restaurant felt very home like, its not a huge place so I'd recommend calling to see if there is a wait time. We did have to rush our lunch so I would go back and try again! There were other plates that looked good and hope to go back soon.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich on brioche- crispy hash browns - perfect start to the day.

    How's the wait on weekdays?

It's not bad at all. Plus, you can place your name on the wait list ahead of time. Then it'll let you know how long the wait may be.

Can you accommodate a group of 17 people? I would also like to know if breakfast is served all day? Thank you!

I don't know about 17 people since most of their tables (pretty small tables) seat four. And they serve breakfast all day but they close early, hope this helps

    Are there gluten free options?

You can order fruit. They had delicious ripe strawberries and papaya, there are lots of keto options of eggs and meat which are gluten free.

Would there typically be a long wait if you get there around 930 on a Saturday morning? How long?

We haven't wait no more than 5-10 minutes on the weekends

He liked it, and by reading the more recent comments, I guess everyone else likes it, too. And I admit that the first and last time I came, more than 2 years ago, the food was good. But if you read my original post, you'll know that I had and issue with their online ordering and, to make a long story short, I ordered online for their KONA store which was misleading in their website. The owner at the Kapolei store said they would remake the order, and that she'd call the Kona store to cancel my payment. Bottom line, never happened! Ended up paying the Kona store $45+ and Kapolei $45+. So ultimately, I paid $91+ for two plates. Never got the refund, haven't been back since. So I realize they probably don't care about ONE negative customer since they have so many good reviews. Like..."who cares about this guy?" So yeah, no matter how good the food was, I'm NEVER going back.

If you like sweet style, then you'll like it but if you're expecting more garlicky style then look elsewhere. The prices were reasonable and portion size was huge- good enough for 2 meals. Mac salad was decent tasting. Not sure if they have jello anymore that they used to give out because when asked him about any desserts he said "no" but I don't know if there was a language barrier or misunderstanding. What annoys me about places like this is when they are so dead and seem to need business, yet they don't see it as important to ANSWER THE PHONE! We called multiple times on different occasions and never ONCE got thru. When I went in to order, I asked the lady working if they changed their number. She said the phone number hasn't changed and insisted that she "always" answers the phone, yet when I walked in, she was sitting in the dining room rolling gaugee. After mentioning that I just called and didn't get thru, she then tells me, "oh ya, I heard it ringing in the back." --- uhh. Okay?.. So, to me, that means you don't always pick up the phone. She didn't seem pleased with my inquiry. No, "thank you" or anything after I paid and even after I grabbed my food that was ready. No eye contact. Nada. Allllllrighty then!... lol Onto the food... With zero bias after receiving that interaction, I can honestly say that I didn't miss out on anything all those other times they didn't answer their phone. The food was waaaaay too sweet for my liking, and umm.. the beef stew? It was made with sliced beef type of cut, rather than chunks. Quite odd, but all-in-all, the "beef stew" is a hard PASS for me. Aside from the different cut of beef, my plate tasted like there was a full tbsp or 2 of sugar in it. Very bizarre if what you're hoping to taste is a traditional, or even, local style BEEF STEW. The honey garlic chicken was tasteless beyond the oily sugar coating. Portion and price for the mix plate was great, but damn... everything else fell short and 90% of it was trashed. I hate wasting food and I especially hate wasting money! :(
