I would say that if you've got a small appetite, sharing these two dishes is a perfect balance between sweet and savory--my husband and I shared both and we ended up taking some home! The only downside, I would say, is that the food is pretty pricey, and during our meal, the waitresses did take a while to come/circle back to us and forgot a couple of things so we sat and waited for a while after finishing our food for our check, hence the .5 stars off. The food here tastes amazing and the service is great! Every time we come to visit this restaurant, it's always busy so it can be a little loud but it's understandable because the restaurant is full! Awesome breakfast of 2-Pork Chops, 3 scrambled soft-scrambled eggs, rice and fried corn bread for me and my Aunt ordered the corned beef hash, scrambled eggs well-done and fried corn bread. I always have to give a huge s/o to this place!! Food is excellent, service is too notch and they know their customers!! This is my parents go to place when in town-you know I worry about them when they go out to eat esp. nowadays. They are seniors who love their independence but the ladies know mom & dad to the tee-they've been in and out of hospitals & today is mom's birthday!! We sat down and Kaira ( may be spelling it wrong) is one of their regular servers and said " the regular"??? This warms my heart. Always love it when others looking out for our kupuna! Start the day right. I come here every now and then and seem to never have a favorite. That's because it's all good. Plus the specials always intrigued me to try it just by the name. Prices are higher than I'm used to but as my friend Terri tells everyone; "Good food ain't cheap and cheap food ain't good". This round was the Kountry Fried Streak and Adobo fried rice. Fried food in the morning is a must and that gravy puts it over the top. And the rice was spot on. The slight vinegar of the meat really was good. Overall four stars. Cozy little breakfast spot located in Ewa Beach, the decor reminds me of Kauai because of the country style chicken decor. This is our 3rd time visiting and I'm just now realizing I haven't reviewed this spot yet. Came here on a Friday morning closer to 9am and we were seated right away. Service was fast & friendly. I was craving some pancakes. I ordered the banana pancakes with a side of bacon and hubby ordered the 2 farm fresh egg meal with sausage, rice, and corn bread. I didn't expect the pancake to be larger than my head lol. It was a single pancake the size of a medium pizza. The texture wasn't light and fluffy, more on the chewy side but nevertheless delicious. The food was delicious (understatement). We will be coming back here again and again. Our server was kind, patient, helpful, and attentive. The decor is so cute and curated well to fit their theme (even into the bathroom). If you have an opportunity to get pancakes, waffles, or French toast, you MUST get the homemade coconut syrup! The fruit was fresh and tastes just like fresh fruit should. My husband had the Kahlúa pork steak and eggs and inhaled it. Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and thankfully it wasn't too busy like most breakfast places. It's a cute little restaurant with some interesting decor (didn't get to take pics of that). My bf and I decided to each get the two egg breakfast and share the salty monkey waffle. The food was pretty good (like above average, but not like, THE best thing I've eaten). Prices I thought were a bit on the pricier side, but not unreasonable (I feel like most breakfast only places have higher prices compared to other places). We got the loco moco, country fried steak, and avocado toast. The hamburger was really dry and there was only one patty. Most places I've eaten loco mocos, there's usually two and for the price of the plate, I thought for sure there would have been two patties. I also got the grilled cornbread, which was pretty dry. The country fried steak was two thin strips of steak with a fried chicken breading that I thought was pretty decent but was a little oily. The avocado toast was pretty underwhelming, just sliced avocado on a piece of dry bread, topped with greens, a very light dressing, and dry herbs. My boyfriend only took a couple bites and that was it. Service was okay at first. They seemed to be understaffed when we first got there then had more help as it got busier. However, they forgot to bring out the one drink we ordered so we ended up just canceling the drink altogether. read more

A group of my friends and I were eager to try a new breakfast spot, so we decided to visit Kapolei Kitchen. The place was cozy and charming, with a delightful decor that set the mood for our meal. As we settled in, we noticed that the restaurant was quite busy. It seemed like they were juggling multiple orders, but thankfully, our food arrived promptly. The kids' grilled cheese was a bit of a letdown, as it was the only dish that was delayed. We suspect that either the order was forgotten or the cheese was accidentally left out. Fortunately, everyone else's food arrived hot and delicious. To make matters worse, we had to ask for our orange juice, which was missing from our table. Our waitress, Dominique, wasn't particularly friendly, which added to our frustration. Perhaps she had a rough morning, but it certainly didn't make the dining experience any more enjoyable. Overall, our visit to Kapolei Kitchen was a bit of a mixed bag. The food was good, but the service was lacking. We'll probably give it another try in the future, but for now, we'll stick to more reliable breakfast spots. read more

She was rude, disrespectful, impatient, and doesn't deserve the business. Why is this restaurant surveilling its patrons? Why 16 cameras? To watch as they're treated horribly by the owner/waitress? This was the husband's choice for Father's Day. Understandably it was a little packed as the weight was about 30 to 45 minutes. He loves French toast, so of course he got the Ube French toast. I wasn't really planning on eating it, but not gonna lie when I tried it, it was really delicious! I went with the corn beef hash and eggs today. I got the cornbread on the side, but I did feel it was a little dry today. The restaurant mimics their Kauai location pretty well. And it really does give the island/country vibes. The corn beef hash is homemade and at market price I think it was more than worth it! I would definitely be back for that reason alone. I liked the taste of the steak but the cut was not good. It made a well cooked steak tough and uncomfortable to eat. The hash browns were delicious the perfect crisp on the outside but not burnt on the inside. I do with the cornbread came warmed up but we were too hungry to send it back. The service was great our waitress was so attentive and helped us order as it was our first time. Overall the meal was delicious, but this will have to be a once in a while treat due to the price. read more

Wow! Wonderful local diner style restaurant. Not only wonderful food and crazy friendly service (the young lady was running from table to table with a smile for everyone and so much energy), but the pictures of the chickens are hilarious. "Farm fresh butt nuggets"?!?!? Had us spurting coffee through our noses! We seriously cried laughing. I highly recommend the khalua pork breakfast sandwich. I could only get through half, but the onions are so sweet and the pork perfectly seasoned. Delish. My husband polished off his coconut French toast - not too sweet and our server gave us a coconut syrup that complimented it perfectly. No foo foo coffees, but what they have is solid. They do have lighter items on the menu - avocado toast, fruit, etc. but for the most part, heavier, homestyle food. Clean friendly and highly recommended. First time trying Kountry Style Restaurant, we came in on a Saturday after 12pm I believe, my step dad recommended this place because he loves the biscuits and gravy. We don't live in ewa beach anymore and it so happen that we had a youth tackle football game on that side, we were told this restaurant is a must! As a side note we were the family that came in with the green Waimanalo jerseys, I say that cause upon getting our food to the table I spilt my water :| the staff was very helpful though and I believe the gyal that helped me clean up her name is kyra, I do remember going to school with her c/o 16 jchs but didn't say anything, just was nice to see a familiar face. However, we got sat down really quick and gotten our order taken pretty quick as well, the goal was to try the biscuits and gravy but I believe they no longer have that on the menu or they were out?? But I got the mushroom burger w/ waffle fries and the portion was good and the quality was great. The interior of the restaurant was def kountry, the diffrent art's of chickens were a very nice touch and the space of the restaurant felt very home like, its not a huge place so I'd recommend calling to see if there is a wait time. While visiting my sister in Oahu last week - she took me to breakfast at this fantastic little place near her home. It was early on Tuesday morning, so we caught them at the perfect time. We received a warm welcome and were seated immediately- it's a cute place inside with all the little "homestyle decor" a fun environment. I ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Breakfast sandwich on brioche bun with a side of hashbrowns - I asked for crispy and wasn't disappointed. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of bacon on my sandwich - really delicious and could probably even be shared, but I was pretty hungry. My sister had a strawberry waffle - it took a couple of bites and would not hesitate to order one for myself. She throughly enjoyed it, and mentioned this is a local favorite of hers. Ugh! My absolute fav breakfast spot and so perfect because it's super close to my house! My husband and I always get their Benedicts with bacon on the side. Portion is perfect for the both of us to share and the bread isn't too hard like other places. Also took the last few parking stalls. It is a little pricey, but delish. Made my choices based on other yelp reviews. Pork chops (side order $10.25/piece) were overcooked and the butter made them a little salty, but fine with the cornbread. The cornbread was decent-not sure Id order it again for $6 though (extra charge because I got mine grilled). The hashbrowns were salty so no need to add ketchup. I heard good things about this place so we had to try it! Well, my first experience was partially my fault I didn't read that I needed to sign in after standing there for almost over 5minutes. You would think one of the workers would kindly say something after walking pass you a few times despite it was not as busy (yeah it was a hard no) it took someone who came in after me to tell me I needed to sign in. So, I won't go through every detailed of the experience but I don't think I'll be coming back for a while. We were a party of 5 with 3kids we waited a good while until we got seated, took another good while until coffee & water was offered and served, yes waited another good while until they took our order, and another good while until we finally got our food while people came after us already got their food. My eggs Benedict was raw even when I asked for medium, bacon and hash brown burnt. Pancakes were not cooked thoroughly and the worker's just moved so slow. Over all I was not pleased, our waitress seemed clueless and not very friendly. I feel like local people generally don't get the same treatment just by my observation. I come out to Ewa side about once a month to drop my dog off at the groomers and every time my fiancé and I have to make a stop at Kountry Kitchen. The decor is cute, the service is great, and the food comes out super quick! We always get the pork chops and share. The pork chops come with 2 eggs, hash browns, and your choice of either toast or cornbread. The pork chops are topped off with a little scoop of garlic butter and they have so much flavor. However, my favorite thing that they serve are the hash browns. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and they are salted perfectly. Other places don't season their hash browns and even though you can add salt at the table, they are so so bland. Not here though! They are so good and I always have to make room for them. A friend and I stop in at this Ewa Beach institution whenever we're playing golf at one of the courses in the area. The portions are huge, tasty and the service is fast and friendly. This time my tablemate chose one of the specials of the day, Crab Benedict. I ordered a plain waffle and a side of crispy bacon. We both had black coffee. The food came very quickly ... my waffle and bacon was perfect; just the right size before heading onto the course. The crab benedict was huge! English muffin, sliced avocado, bacon, crabmeat patty, poached egg and covered with Hollandaise sauce and a dusting of paprika or cayenne pepper with a large rectangle of hash brown on the side. It could have fed the two of us. I tried a piece of the crabmeat; it was very tasty. We left sated and overfed; the usual feeling when dining at Kountry Style Kitchen. Our only quibble is they should post the prices of the specials ... the crab benedict was $29.50 and our tab, with tip came to $70. read more

So first time Kountry Kitchen was closed on a Tuesday, but we went back as a family on Saturday and I'm so glad! They have a waitlist check in where you can ask for special requests like a high chair (and they have ample amounts of high chairs . Also the servers and wait staff are super attentive! The food was amazing . The hash browns were crispy to perfection and the bacon was just right, just the right amount of chewy and crispy! The breakfast sandwich was nicely put together! The bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted brioche bun was warm! Especially liked that the cheese was melted onto the egg. Also appreciated that everything was on the table, condiments and sauces. If you like to notice ambiance the restaurant was decorated and had a warm country feel to it. I loved the local and cultural touches of culturally relative chickens and roosters. Also you can tell it serves the local community because there are as many if not more locals than vacationers eating here. My pancake with strawberries was so over the top good! And I had the coconut syrup which was delicious! Family friendly dishes and cups. I am so glad I came back to see what I saw. This place is great! If you want great service and food come here! Unbelievably expensive menu. Plus they charge extra for paying by credit card. If credit cards charge you as establishment, then you should accept it as cost of doing business. After all you artificially infkate prices anyway. Also, I am a fan of Kona coffee and I bring my coffee to every place I go. But alas they don't allow it, as if their coffee is the best on earth.
