Review Title: Ruined my life. Thanks for nothing, Sub Shack I am writing this through tears of frustration. I have never been so personally victimized by a sandwich shop in my entire life. Let's talk about the "Sub Chef." Way too nice. Incredibly welcoming. It's clearly a tactic to lower your defenses before they hit you with the best sub on the planet. I've been a loyal Storto's fan for years, but Sub Shack just made them look like amateur hour. This sub was 1000x better. It's disrespectful, honestly. The real kicker? The location. I live in town, and this place is a trek. It is deeply inconvenient that I now have to factor a road trip into my weekly schedule because my brain refuses to eat a sub from anywhere else. The shop is spotless, the food is legendary, and the service is perfect. I hate how much I love this place. 5 stars. See you tomorrow. read more

This spot seriously delivers. The subs were huge and the portions were more than generous--we bought two sandwiches and ended up saving one for dinner because they were that filling. Everything was well constructed, packed with ingredients, and the flavors were on point from the first bite to the last. You can tell they care about how the sandwiches are made. The food is good but I think $15 for a slightly bigger 6" sandwich is a bit overpriced. Ordered here a couple of months ago and it was $8 which I didn't think was too bad. Was told that with the price increase that you'll get a fair amount of deli meat (1lb what I was told) however this sandwich comes with only 1 slice of turkey a little bit of bacon and avocado spread. I was trying to be healthy but dang... I'm not asking for a pound of meat at least 2 slices of turkey. Is that too much? Bread was good but you can barely taste bacon or turkey as majority of this sandwich consisted of veggies and bread. read more

Really good sandwich! It wasn't the BEST sandwich I've ever had, but it might just be the one I picked wasn't for me. I would definitely comeback and try some of their other sandwiches. My newest go to sandwich shop. I really enjoy the Gold Coast and Cocoa Beach subs with the jalapeño chips for a side. The owner was very patient as I was trying to decide what to get. They have a keiki menu and they list what add ons are free and what would be an upcharge. I really liked the decor of the shop and how spacious it was. Their picture collage wall was a nice touch. There is also an ATM inside the shop should you need to pull out money. Oh and they have shirts and hats for sale with their logo on top. Will definitely be coming back for more! read more

I've been wanting to stop in always seen it on my way to work and I finally did. I got me the Gold Coast Sub which is 1 that is most ordered there and I could taste why that sandwich was delicious literally satisfying. Convenient and fast, easy parking on the street. Store was very clean and owner was friendly. We split a full size Trestles Trio - great sub and VERY generous portion size. Not usually a huge sandwich person but I thoroughly enjoyed this sub. This place is a good option for a quick and ono bite and is definitely a good deal. Great locally-owned sub shop located in Wahiawa. We ordered 2 12" subs: #1 Surfer's Paradise & #2 Cocoa Beach Classic. The bread is a perfect compliment to the veggies and provolone no matter what sandwich you order. Both sandwiches were cut in half which was perfect for me since I only ended up eating half. The sandwiches made the drive all the way to town without getting soggy. We will definitely stop by next time we're in the area. read more

First time trying, I got the #2 with avocado ( whole ) and the sub tasted amazing, it's a little pricey but the sub is worth it. The place was air conditioned and clean, The parking is tricky ( only street parking ) and can easily be passed by if your driving fast, when you pass the KC barber shop that's when you slow down. Overall it's a great place to eat if you love subs and the service was great too, we came in about 20 mins before they closed and they still serviced us and because it took some time, they treated us with some chips! Stop by twice within a week. First and foremost the owner was super chilled and laid back. I can appreciate that vibe since customer service is a dying art form. I had the 12" Pick Your Paradise with roast beef, turkey, pastrami. When I say this was a 10 out 10 sandwich. I do mean it was a 10 out 10 sandwiches. The bread was fresh, the veggies tasted like they were just picked from the garden, and the meat wasn't the kind like the yucky process type of meat. If you know me, I only go out of my way to write reviews about SUPER GOOD or SUPER BAD experiences at establishments. My friends told me about a new sandwich shop that just opened in WAHIAWA so I decided to check it out with my family this winter break. It took us about 45-50 minutes to get there but it was very easy to find and there were lots of street parking available right out front. As you can see from the videos I posted, the outside and inside give off a very clean, modern feel. They had a vast selection of drinks (cans and fountain drinks) along with various chip brands. As our friends recommended, we ordered the #1 and #6 in the foot long size and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The sandwiches are sooo flavorful and they are huge!!! The price is definitely affordable...especially for what you get! We started eating them in the restaurant but we couldn't finish it because they were biig so we finished it off for dinner :) (we thought prices were reasonable to begin with but we were able to get TWO MEALS out of it so even moreso!) Keenan, the owner, helped us today and he was very friendly, down to earth, and welcoming! He greeted us with a warm smile and gave us his recommendations. The sandwiches were completed in a timely manner and did I mention HOW CLEAN THIS PLACE WAS?! I am a stickler for these things and I refuse to eat at places that are even a little dirty. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying this place. You will definitely be back because the hospitality here is just as amazing as the food! It's a great hole in the wall spot. I forgot the guys name working, but he was very friendly and gave great recommendations for sandwiches. I ordered the #1 and i have only have 1 negative comment, if you can call it that. I wish there was more meat in the sandwich. But I can look past that with how great it tasted. Just found this sandwich shop last month and we've eaten here twice. Fantastic sandwiches at a great price. We've had the Surfer's Paradise (Roast beef, bacon, provolone), Gold Coast Club (turkey, bacon, provolone), and today I tried the Noosa Tuna. I'm pretty picky about my tuna but it was really one of the best I've ever had. Great mixture of ingredients but none too overpowering. Perfect! Owner is the greatest and the service is quick. I drive past here everyday on my commute home and finally got to stop and try. The owner is extremely friendly and the subs are top tier! My boyfriend and I got the Banzai Italian, loaded with banana peppers, their house made Dijon and a bunch of other extras and MAN! That was the most refreshing and tastiest sub I've had in a VERY long time. If you're in the area or willing to make the drive it's 100% worth it!
