    Cookie Butter French Toast

I came here on vacation and was not disappointed. I haven't tried to go out much in this area, but seems like there are few (if not limited quality) dining options. That being said, I recommend spinners to visit. The cafe had attentive, friendly employees and tasty food. I personally ordered the cookie butter French toast which was amazing. It was sweet and decadent without being nauseatingly so. I tried a bite of my boyfriends omelette which was also very tasty. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice beach cafe feel to it. Overall, great food and not to mention at great prices too!!

Always good to stop at when down this side. What can we say, the best on the west in our opinion. Can never go wrong with the food or hospitality.

Love this spot!!! Simple plain and delicious food. And it came out fast. Good service. Loved the lunch there during our beach and snorkel day close by. The banana pancakes were bomb!!!! And the breakfast burrito tasted clean and fresh. The salsa and ad ons on the side. You get made from scratch real food here. Loved it.

We came here after a dolphin tour in the morning! I would have to say this was our most favorite breakfast food of our trip. You must get the Banana pancakes! Amazing! My fiancé got the loco moco. Everything was delicious and we had great service! Highly recommend.

I have definitely been living under a rock, omg...... This whole time i thought this place was an office for the harbor LOL. I discovered this place and instantly fell in love! The customer service is fast and friendly. The dine in area is clean, homey and inviting. They do take ebt for acai bowls and idk what else you are able to get with ebt. There are so many things on the menu to eat, everyone has something to eat here. I loved everything we tried! Especially their fries and special sauce, omg... Highly recommend this place if you're in the area! They're open sun-sat 6:30am to 2:30pm. Breakfast and lunch place! The food is so delicious, we can't wait to come back here again!!!!

Love this place!! As a Waianae girl a lot of my favorite places have closed down I googled this place and my daughter and I decided to try it. Not disappointed. The fried rice was good and Texas French toast and the chilli all good. The server/cashier Chelsea is amazing she greeted us with a smile and great attitude. All people need to be this friendly in the industry. Great service and great food. We will be back.

I've never been to this cafe, because it's at the boat harbor and I would have never associated good food with the harbor. (Sorry, just being honest) But, I'm always down for looking for great places to eat and even better when they're in my back yard, So I decided to check them out. Wow! What a great experience I had this morning! I'm a local, born and raised in Nanakuli. If you're not from Hawaii, basically a couple of miles down the road from here. I ordered the Roast Pork Loco Moco and it was really good. Not sure if I was fortunate or unfortunate to not get to taste the Macaroni Salad, because I completely missed that it was given to me in a side container and didn't realize what it was until I was done with my meal and I was too stuffed to eat it alone. Although the meal was on point, I feel the best part of my experience was the server. His name is Donald! Wow! This guy casually made conversation with this couple at the next table and I couldn't help but eavesdrop. The local in me was partly making sure he was giving them great info and a good local experience. The West Side of O'ahu doesn't have the best reputation of serving our tourist community with kindness in my experience and upbringing. Not to seem negative, but it's true. Donald was awesome! This guy made this couple feel so welcomed! And he was born and raised in Waianae Valley! I was so proud of this guy to represent Hawaii well with so much Aloha! He gave them tips on hiking, snorkeling spots, eating spots, traffic, and all minds of things that came up jn conversation. Needless to say, I think they would recommend Hawaii to their friends and to stay on the west side like they are. Great Decision to hire Donald guys!!! Definitely a Plus to your business!!!

Felt spoiled with the amazing beachfront views and some of the best food we had all vacation long. Best part, it was all for a fraction of the price compared to what we've been paying at the ritzy or main stream spots. They have drink specials and happy hours! Sooo worth it. The poke nachos and crispy pork coupled with drinks, heaven! Our kids loved the firecracker chicken, mildly spicy but not overwhelming for them. There were so many options we didn't get to try, which means we will be back soon! We enjoyed the music and the sounds of the waves. Kids even played by the water while we finished our cocktails from the deck. It's exactly what we envisioned our vacation to be! So, if you could skip the over priced ritzy places that end up subpar, I would and come here. It's off the beaten path a little and tucked away on a small street, but worth the visit. The ambiance at Kaʻahaʻaina Café sets it apart from your average neighborhood café. The atmosphere is laid-back and focused on community, embodying a local vibe that truly represents the West Side instead of mimicking a trendy Honolulu idea. The overall experience at Kaʻahaʻaina Café was truly something I valued the most. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, allowing for a seamless transition into enjoying the meal. The service was not only friendly but also efficient, with the staff contributing to a warm atmosphere that perfectly complemented the café's local vibe. That level of reliability is crucial, particularly in a venue where it appears that numerous patrons are familiar faces. From a wider travel viewpoint, I often observe when a café truly embodies the spirit of its local community. Having explored numerous dining spots around the globe, I often find myself recalling those that truly embody their local essence, and Kaʻahaʻaina Café certainly captures that vibe. It's not just about the show. It's all about the cozy vibe, the sense of belonging, and an atmosphere that resonates with the essence of Waiʻanae. Other things we ate that we enjoyed were the cast iron shrimp. Great flavor, the only problem is that it comes with like 4-5 shrimp, and they aren't large shrimp. Wish this dish came with more shrimp. The cheeseburger was good but not great. If you are craving a burger, this one definitely will satisfy that craving though.
