Turkey wrap
Tricia M.

Must must must try this place! The service was top notch...friendly, helpful and all with a smile. The food was soooo yummy. We ordered the turkey wrap, bacon egg and cheese wrap and another sandwich I can't remember but all was delicious!!! Don't forget to try the slush. The raw honey on top was awesome!!!!! Definitely will be back!

Truck North Shore

My review is for Wicked Hi's food truck on the north shore, not the brick and mortar. We were at No. 7 Japanese food truck when I saw people getting pizza delivered to them. I had read that Wicked HI had delicious sourdough pizzas so I ordered the Hawaiian Luau pizza, which was a ham/pineapple hawaiian pie. It was a little pricey but, to its credit, big enough for 2-3 people to share. It had a good flavorful crust and ample toppings.

Great place to sit outside with friends and enjoy Picnic style seating and fresh food. Gut friendly sour dough pizza hot and delicious.. dragonfruit slushies with raw local honey. Yum!

We love everything we ordered. Friendly staff and we didn't wait long to get our foods and drinks. Cute ambiance! But too bad the smoke from cooking was too strong and make it hard to breathe when we were eating inside. Everything else was excellent.

I'm so glad I finally came out with a friend to give this spot a try! The food & service are phenomenal! We tried the pitas since I've had their pizza already. All sourdough and man so delicious! I'm coming back for the sourdough waffles I will say this cafe is small seating wise I came on a busy Sunday but they also share some seating with the Mexican spot right beside where you're able to sit. The parking when it's packed is hard to maneuver but it's a great little spot. Go give it a try! Fun fact if you didn't know they have a food truck that sells pizza and slushes on the north shore but now I think this will be my go to spot! Great to hangout spot and there's a cute thrift shop next door.

Internet was shotty so I guess my check in never uploaded. My friend Kilohana knew my hubs and I were going on another one of our coffee day dates and recommended this place to me. Both of our husbands families have Waialua roots so I am so surprised I have bypassed this cafe so many times. It is nestled right next to Paalaa Kai. OMG. We had already eaten ice cream and coffee at stop 2, and lunch at stop 3.... This was stop 4 not 20 min after leaving stop 3. I had to order more food and coffee and sweets. It seems to be that they specialize in Sourdough (pizza, pasta, waffle). I really wanted a waffle but they stop waffle service at 1 and it was just after that cutoff dammit. However they hubs got a Bacon Egg Cheddar Sourdough Pita with Avo, I got the Club. They are also know for their honey slush thingy dessert made with of course local honey. And I ordered a cortado bc it was on the menu and a reasonalble price. And bc I don't ever need an excuse to buy coffee. It took some time as everything was made fresh. And I mean fresh. And effing pillowy soft. Yup that sourdough pita was pillowy soft. And all the fillings were fan-freaking-tastic. After we finished our food they made our slushies which reminded me of italian ice with honey coated on top like hard crack chocolate shell. I loved the lilikoi and the coffee flavors. We got the regular size for that. The cortado was also done amazingly. The aesthetic of this cafe is very Waialua fitting and I hope it stays for the rest of eternity. Also, the owner of this has to be the smartest lady. Because I noticed in Haleiwa there is also two food trucks of the same name, one serving the slushies and one serving the pizzas. And I think that they go to other farmers markets too. Way to hit up your clientele from all angles. The staff on had was super friendly and accommodating to every customer that I saw them come into contact with. You can tell their boss must treat them right because they sure seemed happy. I cant wait to go back and try waffles and pasta.

They are moving, so they are temporarily closed. According to their instagram, "It is with mixed emotion that we are announcing a move! We will be closing our doors at our Waialua location this week only to open a new cafe location soon. Stay tuned for details! . It has been an honor and privilege to serve our customers in this location these past years and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have visited us and supported us there. We are especially grateful to all of our employees that made it possible to provide such quality and fresh food to our loyal customers. . Tomorrow (Wed , Feb 26) will be our last day at the Waialua location. Please come see us from 9-6! . You can continue to get your fave pizza and honey slush @wickedhipizza truck in Haleiwa (open 11-8 daily) - online ordering coming soon! . We will also of course continue our presence at weekend farmers markets @wickedhi_honeyslush in Kaka'ako and Kailua. . Our catering services around the island will continue too! DM us for more info for your next event!"

Large 7 oz honey lilikoi slush

Tucked into a building, make sure to watch for the cart and signage across the street or you'll miss it. Picked up lunch here on the way to 3 Tables. Ordered 1/2 meat lover's, 1/2 cheese pizza, B.A.T. (bacon, arugula, and tomato) Pita and a large honey lilikoi slush. The sourdough pizza crust and pita were yum. Topping for the pizza were as you would expect. Wifey really liked the pita. The slush was a little overpowering with the syrup but the honey was delish. Service is quick, prices are reasonable for Hawaii but maybe a little steep.

Avocado Pita with goat cheese
Cantalise F.

Tried for the first time today Got the house salad and the avocado pita a/ goat cheese. Food was really good. My salad came with strawberries and balsamic glaze and optional goat cheese crumble. Will definitely get the crumble next time. Food took a bit long to come out but it was fresh and a great portion. Decor is cutesy but looks slightly unfinished. Would eat here again (a tad in the expensive side but yummy and filling)

Waffles and breakfast sandwich

Went there because the waffles are supposed to be amazing. They were ok. Chewy, but center was almost not cooked through. It comes with a side of whipped cream and maple syrup. Also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese pita. It was good except for some areas of the pita that tasted like charcoal. I actually like the flavor of the burnt areas on a pizza that comes out of a pizza oven, but this tasted more like it was time to clean the oven. The honey coffee slush was ok. They use acidic/tart coffee (heads up)....some people like that. For the food, I would give it 3 stars, but I definitely needed to take one off because of the poor service. Not welcoming, it felt like we were a nuisance coming into their shop. No smile, no greeting. When the food was brought, we said thank you and the person just walked away. Came to the counter looking for napkins and needed to say "excuse me"even with the cashier right in front of me. However, when the, what looked like tourists, came in there were smiles and different treatment. Owner/manager: I think it's time for some professional development on customer service.

Honey Lilikoi Slush
Christian L.

Honestly this exceeded my expectations! The honey lilikoi slush was phenomenal! It is quite on the sweeter side but in a good way. The amazing lightly-sweeted honey really compliments the slush. The waffle might look deceiving but it will fill you up! The bacon, egg, cheddah waffle has a great combination salty, sweet, and savory flavors. I went in the morning and the wait a few minutes long as the staff prepares the food from scratch. The place is on the hipster vibes! Everyone is friendly and I enjoyed my time there!

My sad other half of my sandwich with one fleck of meat
Tayler C.

This is absolutely tragic. I've been coming here for years I knew the previous owners. Idk who took this over but they are defacing the good name of this business. The staff is obviously under paid and untrained. No welcome as your enter or prompt to order. Once you order you have to wait 30 min while you watch 4 people in the kitchen aimlessly making something. I always the get the Italian. I can tell even the ingredients aren't the same quality. From the flour in the sourdough, to the meat and cheese in the sandwich. Also while I'm eating one side of the sammy it's full of meat which is great but kinda missing the other ingredients I've come to love. Then I start on the second side, no meat. They folded the sandwich wrong and cut it so I couldn't even correct the mistake if I tried. I got my boyfriend the turkey and also underwhelming. The bread was soggy, barely any meat and really no flavor other than wet excuse for lettuce. Another cherry on top was the answer to my question of why they didn't answer the phone. I tried to call in an hour prior and didn't get picked up. The cashier said if it gets busy they don't answer the phone. When we walked in there was 4 people in there. You're making coffee and sandwiches, not sure why you're overwhelmed with 4 people working in the kitchen. Owners need to train their workers better, or find some employees that are happy to work for them. Won't be spending any of my hard earned money here anymore. Better off going to waialua bakery! Friendly and family owned !

, Cute little place. Definitely stop by if you're in the area. Homemade pita bread was amazing. Was with a group and we had a variety of sandwiches - everyone was happy wit their food. Will definitely return on our next trip.

They also sell little trinkets and gifts around the café, which was fun to browse while waiting for our drinks. Their drinks were pretty mid. We tried their specials -- the pistachio espresso latte and the pistachio matcha latte -- and both were kind of disappointing because you could barely taste the pistachio flavor. Their pastries are kind of hit or miss based on the times we've gone. We've had some really good ones before and some that weren't memorable. This time, we got the almond croissant, which I actually really liked. We also tried the bagel weenie, which is basically like a sausage wrapped in bagel bread/hot dog style. The flavor was good, but the bread was super tough and didn't taste very fresh. I'm not sure if that's just how it's supposed to be, but texture-wise it wasn't really for me. Overall, not terrible, but nothing that really stood out either.

I have been to an Island Vintage Coffee before, but not this location. The shop here is located in the Haleiwa Store Lots and is quite large. With that space, there is a lot of seating as well as numerous stands of merchandise and coffee for sale. For my coffee on this afternoon, I ended up going with an iced Island Latte, which is a latte with macadamia nut and a hint of coconut. It only took a couple of minutes before my coffee was ready, and my dad and I headed back to the car to try it. My coffee tasted good as the coffee flavor itself was bold and very noticeable. I could also taste the macadamia nut, which gave the coffee a slightly nutty flavor. Last but not least was the coconut, which they said it had a hint of, and they were not wrong. Overall, it was a good coffee and it hit the spot for the afternoon pick me up I was going for. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My coffee here was pretty good and I would totally be up for trying their Hawaiian Honey Latte, which I almost ordered today.

We arrived right when the restaurant was opening and were lucky enough to be seated immediately. The parking lot is relatively small, but we lucked out by being there right at opening. I loved the seating area, it is completely open and we were able to enjoy the light breeze and beautiful weather. I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi which comes with garlic ponzu long beans and lemon caper brown butter sauce (which I requested on the side) and white rice. I am glad I decided to put the sauce on the side because the sauce was really rich and I enjoyed it more as a light dipping sauce versus drenching the plate with it. The Mahi Mahi was delicious and cooked perfectly. The kids menu here is amazing, the kids all loved their choices. I tried some of the Chicken Tenders and it was one of the best I have ever had! The staff here are wonderful! They were so attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. The food came out quickly and just as we ordered. I would highly recommend Haleiwa Beach House to anyone craving fresh and delicious food... there is a variety of choices on the menu, everyone in our party was able to pick what they wanted and we all left full and happy :)
