Let's talk about the "Sub Chef." Way too nice. Incredibly welcoming. It's clearly a tactic to lower your defenses before they hit you with the best sub on the planet. I've been a loyal Storto's fan for years, but Sub Shack just made them look like amateur hour. This sub was 1000x better. It's disrespectful, honestly. The real kicker? The location. I live in town, and this place is a trek. It is deeply inconvenient that I now have to factor a road trip into my weekly schedule because my brain refuses to eat a sub from anywhere else. (For reference: Price was: 1 for $2.75 or 4 for $10.00) I only ordered 4 (two of the Strawberry and 2 of the Ube so my wife and I can try both flavors), which should come out to $10.00. I confronted the waitress about the mistake, and was very apologetic about the error. She returns to the register to fix it and the total came out to $11.00, not $10.00. The math doesn't make sense. So I approached the waitress and she said and I quote: "We charge the $2.75 price because you ordered two orders of two different types of beignets. Since each cost $2.75, the total comes out to $11.00". THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED WHEN THE WAITRESS TOOK OUR ORDER OR WAS NOT PRINTED ON THE MENU WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT THE ORDER I asked her why wasn't this mentioned while we were ordering it, even though she was present when I was having the discussion of the beignets to my wife.
