Sign right when you come in, to order food before having a seat. After ordering, if you plan to eat in; they will give you a # & bring the food to your table. Food and portion is good! Friendly staff and very helpful :) came here for brunch & it was average noisy but was busy here & there. Crowd came in waves but lucky thing there was open seats. Complementary water. Hot coffee refills are free. Today the Chunky money pancakes was a $1 off. Overall food tastes great for breakfast/brunch. They also have lunch menu.

Lunch in Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawaii... Cony wanted pancakes for her birthday, so we took her to Koa Pancake House. Located at Waipahu Town Center, Koa Pancake House is located between New Hope and AT&T... in the building next to Longs Drugs Store. Shared, free parking is plentiful! Inside, the clean restaurant was almost empty. They must be busy during breakfast and weekends. The air-conditioning was really cold and the music was very audible. Service at the counter was helpful and efficient! After I ordered at the counter, our meal, utensils, napkins, and condiments were brought to us. I got a soft drink at the self-service fountain. We had the bacon plate with scrambled eggs and a side of strawberry whipped cream pancakes. It was really filling! We couldn't finish the pancakes. Too bad the strawberries were frozen, not fresh. Pancakes were on the chewy side. Overall, we had a good experience! Cony was happy! LOL!

Came here because we wanted to taste some crêpes! It was a good hour or two before they closed and they were already mopping and closing up. It was only noon Ish and I believe they closed at 2 PM - Just felt kind of awkward sitting there, but no biggie, we tried not to leave a mess as well. We ordered three crêpes, and didn't realize there were three crêpes per plate so we had a lot of crêpes! They tasted OK nothing fantastic wise. We had the strawberry along with the banana - just a lot of food at the end. They have a huge breakfast selection. The place was located in a shopping mall, parking wasn't too bad. The order taker was very nice.

Coming back home after 15 years I had to check out this spot before we left to vegas. We ordered the koa burrito that has Portuguese sausage, fried potatoes eggs and cheese. We also got the make your own moco hamburger steak eggs with fried rice. Regular pancakes and the Trio which comes with Portuguese sausage bacon and eggs and a side of snow stack pancakes. The flavors are always on point. The price is reasonable, there is a good amount of selections on their menu. The service is also so quick. Great customer service super friendly. The dine in area also has a good amount of seats and table. They did have a public restroom Which is a plus.

Had an early test at Queen's West and had to hang out til eastbound traffic dies down. We were starving so we stopped here. It's located in a small shopping center with American Savings bank, New Hope Church, L&L Drive in and other businesses. You order at the front and then sit at a table. Because it was so early, there were lots of tables open but I can imagine it can get busy. The menu had lots of choices of breakfast type items. I had the plain crepes and hubby had the corn beef hash and rice. The crepes weren't bad-not too sweet and went well with the slices of lemon squeezed on. Hubby said the corn beef hash was probably the can type but together with the rice and eggs, it was a filling breakfast. The roasted potatoes were good-they held off on the salt per our request. But don't get the coffee-it was not good at all! Very acidic.

I went here for brekkie today while waiting for my tire service to be completed at Goodyear. I ordered their corn beef hash with 2 over easy eggs and fried rice. There's an up charge for fried rice but it's worth it! I love their breakfast here!

This was a nice breakfast spot for my family and I. We happen to be in Waipahu servicing our car, so needed a quick stop that wasn't too long. We came here, and it wasn't busy at all. There was lots of seating available and it seemed clean. Had to go up to order our food before finding a table, so it was nice that we paid first, that way could dig out right after we were done eating. They gave us a number to place on the table, and once our food was ready about 10-15 mins after, they brought the food to us. Food was good. It wasn't fancy or anything, but it satisfied our hungry tummies. The kids enjoyed the food, and likes how it came with 5 sausages. My veggie omelette tasted good, it was packed with veggies, so I appreciated that. Anyway, great local place to stop at for quick food.

Food was pretty good, service was quick and establishment was clean. Prices were decent and it's a nice alternative to getting zippys for breakfast.

Again it's another place that I remember eating when I was younger and the food was just as great as I remember. The portions are always so big and filling, and I feel like it's well worth my money. The fried rice was good too, and I think made the breakfast I had just a bit better than regular white rice. Everything was well cooked and I have no complaints. I don't know if it was just an off day or maybe the time we went was earlier or later than usual but it wasn't really busy, which worked out on our favor. At this location, the church next to it was going through some sort of maintenance or construction so there was a big vehicle blocking the entrance, but it didn't deter customers from going in.

Nothing fancy, just good ole breakfast food. Came in just before 9:30a and was still able to order the breakfast special - upgraded the pancakes to banana pancakes which also came with two eggs. Ordered over easy which actually came out over easy. In addition, got a side of fried rice and coffee. Pancakes and rice came out within 10 mins. Have to say, pancake's were delicious!! Light, fluffy, hot. Went to another breakfast joint the other day and paid 3x the price for banana pancakes, what a disappointment. But Koa House pancakes are on spot!!

Great breakfast place. The fried rice is hit or miss. Sometimes it's super dry. I wish they put oyster sauce in the fried rice. Other than that it's pretty much your local Hawaii style breakfast resto.

Weekends are meant to be relaxing but life got other plans for you sometimes. Saturday breakfast/brunch was to be at Koa Pancake House in Waipahu. Walked in around 9am and it was packed. Okay, maybe takeout then Our order was taken and paid for at 9:31am. Around 10:01am I walked up to ask if our order was ready yet. Almost done, so I ordered a cup of coffee. I was sipping on water already. Finally we got our order 10 minutes later. I'm really hungry now and tables opened up so we decided to sit down and dine in. Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. It's a solid 4 out of 5 stars because over 30 minutes wait for two breakfast orders is too long in my book. Being busy is a good thing for the business but not for the customer, in my opinion

Note time orders placed and paid for. Pancakes arrived within 10 minutes along with hash browns.

Service is good but food takes way tooooo long to be made. Expect on average a 30 to 40 minute wait for simple items like Portuguese sausage eggs. Curious as to how long the wait is for the Kalbi and eggs. Order places at 10:51am. Received hash browns and pancakes (ordered regular pancakes, the order was made with a dirty grill or dirty spatula because bottom pancake was mixed with blueberry's), roughly 10 to 15 minutes later. Rest of my order arrived to the table at 11:27am. Eggs ordered over medium was basically raw (egg whites running clear on plate). Didn't want to risk sending it back and waiting another 20 minutes for eggs, so just scrapped them to the side of another plate and covered it with napkins. Third time at this location and while the food for the most part is pretty good, it's definitely not worth the possible 45 minute wait for sausage and eggs. Pack your patience if you decide to dine here EVEN if it's take out, be prepared to wait extended times for basic items. Overall, solid 2 star as the front of house staff is really nice, the kitchen definitely needs some or a lot of help.

Fast Forward to this past weekend, the Husband and I wanted a simple breakfast after the gym and Rocky's had popped into my head. The area can get ridiculously busy so if you can, park on the street instead of in the Lot. You will have a hard time getting in and out once the surrounding Businesses open. I'm assuming where you're sitting will determine the type of Service you get. We sat at the Counter, and while we were very entertained with watching them cook orders, we were a bit neglected by the Staff, while the parties at the regular tables were presented with friendlier and more patient Servers. We waited over 15mins to get our order taken and since I guess they thought we were regulars they kept rushing to take our orders while we weren't given Menu's. We pulled the Menu up on Yelp lol. Food was standard. I really loved the fried rice! but the Hash was passable, it was too mushy for my liking. Also, our order of pancakes came 20mins after we finished eating, I wish i were kidding, We kept trying to flag down Aunty to cancel but she was very frazzled cooking, taking orders, and filling orders so we just waited. At the end we spent $60 including tip and left with a Hoo-Hum experience. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted and sat down. It was quiet and very peaceful, which I am a HUGE fan of. I hate being in loud overcrowded places so this was already very appealing to us. After reviewing their menu, we were impressed by the choices and the prices. I ordered the loco moco and my boyfriend ordered the Famous fried rice omelette, along with a side of banana pancakes. The food came out within 10 minutes maybe less and the portions were massive! I'm quite picky when it comes to loco mocos because most places don't make them well enough. Usually the friend rice is plain, the patty is overcooked and the gravy is flavorless. HOWEVER, the fried rice was incredible to start, the patty literally melted in my mouth and the gravy was flavored very well and had the perfect amount of salt. If I'm being honest, that was the best loco moco I've eaten at a restaurant ever! My boyfriend's omelette was super good, he had the same fried rice I did and the egg was cooked perfectly. Pancakes were an absolute chefs kiss. I'm a huge sucker for Dennys pancakes over ihop and these pancakes blew Dennys out the door. On top of the food being perfect, the customer service was so good.
