Early open at 10 after 5am. Already another person in line ahead. Sweet, friendly service from Mika. Korean & breakfast menus available. Meat jun is made with ribeye. 5 minutes til pau! Great location, next to Arby's in Waipahu. Clean truck. Check her out!

The food was super delicious! If you want authentic Korean food you need to give this food truck a try! I've been searching for a good spicy squid spot and found one right in the heart of Waipahu!

The little kitchen that could! Stumbled upon this cool little spot to eat. We ordered kimchi fried rice and liked it so much we ordered the spicy rice cakes with cheese. So good and I can imagine the rest of their menu is desirable!

Slow. Long wait times. Wouldn't consider if you're in a bit of a rush. Wait times up to 20-30min.

So delicious and the balance between the salty and sweet with the rich savory depths of the sauce was perfect.

Lol We had turkey ranch, machete, and Italian. No complaints from anyone. They do not skimp on filings which is great. The lady that was there was very friendly. I forgot to take photos. So I guess you gotta go try for yourself.

First off, their sandwiches are thickkk! Thick slices of homemade bread, tons of fresh meats, and veggies. This place has been on my hubby's places to try list and we finally checked it off the list! We went with their Turkey Avocado Bacon sandwich. He was so impressed when he saw the worker slicing the turkey fresh onto the sandwich. This sandwich is pretty basic and includes turkey, avocado spread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, & mayo. You can add on more veggies at no charge such as cucumber, onion, oregano, & even hot mustard. The sandwich itself was good but for $13.99 I wish they had fresh avocado or added more avocado spread because I didn't taste any of it. Second, the bread was really soft with a bit of a chewy crust. It's made fresh daily so you know it's quality. Overall, it was a pretty good sandwich but nothing special. Maybe we have to try a different sandwich with different meats next time!

When you walk in you will be greeted by the cashiers. Menu is on a screen. You order first, pay, and the cashier will give you table number if you are dine-in. Kinda reminds me of Carl's Jr or Conner Bakery. I order a small Ice Coffee coffee of the day was Kona and a Tomato Jam Sammie. The sandwich came pretty quickly, the briche was toasted, overeasy egg, cheese topped with arugula and tomato jam which had a BBQ flavor. Their prices are reasonable for a cafe style and the food are made fresh. So it's a good experience if you are in Kapolei area. This is a good size cafe with options to sit indoors or outdoors. I sat at the outdoor bar area because there's 3 TVs up. Perfect for me to watch the World Cup Spain vs Belgium. I definitely would come back to try out their lunch menu.

"Lucky you live Pearl City! $6 Meals!!?"…read more  Did you hear about Pearl City Foodland's $6 Specials they offer Monday - Friday?  They are the bomb!!   With the prices of everything going UP, UP, UP there's now a place you can enjoy ono food for only $6! I have 2 favorites -- Tuesday & Thursday.   I eat it practically every week and you'd never guess when you see it! Tuesday is the BBQ Bowl -- You get ypur choice of meat, rice, and a side (banchan). I always get the smoke meat with pickled onion on rice. The smoked meat has plenty smoked taste, just enough fat, and it's not tough (you know what I mean).  The pickled onion is the perfect compliment!   Love the bite and the vinegar taste -- cuts though and brings it all together!   They give you quite a bit in the bowl.  Definitely enough to make me smile!    Again ---- $6.00!!!!! Thursday is another winner in my book.   It's noodle day!!!  I used to get the Mega which had everything in it.   It was a special that they had at the beginning but it's been discontinued.  I think the only one I'm not too crazy about is the curry.   I know some like it -- but having watery curry with noodles is just not me.   The rest are pretty good.   They warm up the noodles right there and add all the goodies on top.  It's take out so they give you the hot broth in another container ---- perfect so your noodles don't get soggy!   I think it's a great 'buy and eat later' meal! I think the only negative is that sometimes the parking lot is very, very full.  If you go early it's not too bad.    The rest of the days they have kalua pig burrito, nachos, and the $6/lb food bar Friday.   With all the prices on everything going UP, UP, UP, it's so nice that we can have a good and satisfying meal for $6.00.    Thank you Foodland -- Food, Family, and Friends!!!
