Breakfast stuff! If you can't see it, I'm getting the seafood pancake with fried rice.

Personally I have always thought the Korean food here is good (never had the Japanese food). Better than the cheap cheap prices they sold their food at. Even though I don't want to pay more, I'm so glad they raised their prices. They deserve it. But their low prices did keep the customers flowing. Today I don't see as much business but maybe we are early. I hope they continue to have good sales and remain here. Today dad and I both eyed the fish jun & shrimp tempura. Since dad ordered that, I got the bi bum bup. It was both so good. The veggies confined to be excellent. So sweet of the owner to make us some mango juice too.

First time there. Will return. " Ohana Special " is so good. It has Kalbi, Teri Beef, bbq chicken, meat Jun, mandoo, shrimp, rice, and FOUR sides. We chose 2x Mac salad, cucumbers, and cabbage. That's all on one huge plate. Wow! This mom&pop place perfectly hits the Hawaiian/Korean flavors you want. The food was served quickly. The place was well-lit and the Muzak background quietly played songs we knew the words to.

My dad's go-to place for Korean food. I usually get a regular plate like meat jun or spicy pork, but this time I wasn't too hungry and just ordered seaweed soup. Well, to my surprise the soup came with 2 scoops of rice and a full plate of sides (4 choices), Needless to say I had left-overs! There are so many menu items and Japanese choices as well, including sushi. We just love coming here.

OK so I finally came back. I was short on time and was hoping Ohana BBQ would have some cheap ready made bentos soI could grab and go. No such luck. After looking at the menu and seeing some decent prices I decided on bento#7. I comes with Korean fried chicken, chop chae, Kim chee and beansprouts all for just $11. Since they had to cook the chicken I decided to eat in the restaurant. Looked not bad when I first got it. The chicken was piping hot but I didn't care for the flavor, the shoyu was too strong. The chop chae looked really plain compared to the menu pic, I got just noodles with very little cabbage. The chop chae the best part of my lunch, looked simple but the texture and flavor was spot on. I was also surprised on how good their Kim Chee was. Not too sour, a little on the fresh side just how I like it. I don't know if I would return, it wasn't that good.

Ohana BBQ and Sushi is our go-to spot for Korean food. Though there are other places in the Pearl City and Aiea area, Ohana BBQ's prices and plate sizes are reasonable. The uncle that works there is always super nice and the food is always tasty. My go-to is the fish jun and my kids love it. The side dishes are full of flavor and don't disappoint. I haven't had their sushi but it's a great 2-in-1 place if you're wanting both sushi and Korean food. They're located in the strip mall across from Best Buy and more towards the end where Zippy's used to be. Overall, we're fans of Ohana BBQ!

Meat Jun, Kalbi Combo Plate

I've come here since I was kid and been wanting it ever since. A nice mom and pop business! Owners work the front and back, they are super nice and helpful. Food is great and taste very authentic. Great for take out and dine in, very cozy but could use an upgrade for interior design.

Ordered California roll sushi, Shrimp Tempura Donburi, and 26. Beef, Meat Jun Combo.

Homestyle Korean and Japanese food! Ordered California roll sushi, Shrimp Tempura Donburi, and 26. Beef, Meat Jun Combo. The food was very tasty and the vibes of the place were relaxed and old school. Very friendly staff and was given mango for dessert. The mango was very sweet and refreshing. Would come back again mostly for the Korean food.

Great food and service at an affordable price! My wife and I were looking for a spot for this week's date night. There's a sushi counter and Korean bbq counter inside, so we ordered something from both. The dynamite maki was very tasty. The kalbi was tender and well seasoned. The spicy pork was thin, crispy, and chewy; chewy in a satisfying way. The owner was friendly and gave us each a house mango juice at no charge. The juice was thick with fresh mango. Highly recommended for dinner with a variety of food choices.

Ordered kanpyo maki and shinko (takuan) maki. Made to order here. Small bento, sushi and plate lunch available. Reasonable prices. The place exudes mom and pop local vibes. There are a few booths and seats available to eat in or you may order take out. Nice lady took my order and a nice man helped with the take out plate lunches. Both helped with the seated customers. The sushi was tasty and the rice was fluffy. Enjoyed both the shinko and kanpyo makis. I was initially looking for musubis. This was a perfect substitute. Food: 4 out of 5 Ambiance: 3 out of 5 stars Service: 4 out of 5 stars

The hole in the wall in a restaurant shopping center. They're right next to the CBD store and the food I tried was meat Jhun and bbq chicken. It was good and the ban chan didn't look impressive but it was delicious. I would like to try their sushi selections next time around. Other than that the mom and pop who own it are very hard working with pops running the front and mom the back. Must try.

They sell sushi and Korean plate lunch in the same store

The food was fresh and fried to order. Good portions for a good price. Really good spot for take out and bentos.

Bento #3 Meat Jun, fried fish, spam Bento #5 BBQ Chicken, chicken katsu, eggplant Jun
Tiana S.

#3 bento meat jun, fried fish, spam, kimchee, bean sprouts. The meat to rice ratio was perfect. The fried fish was so crispy. The meat jun was good quality and not fatty. #5 bento bbq chicken, chicken katau, eggplant jun, kimchee, bean sprouts. Amazing! This was fried to order because the katsu was crispy and not dry. Chicken had a smoked flavor.

5. BBQ Chicken Plate (forgot to snap pic early)

Ordered two takeout plates - Mochiko Chicken and Bbq Chicken. The person I bought the mochiko chicken for said it was okay. He didn't rave about it. My Bbq chicken was okay too - could have used more flavor. Although I like their variety of veggies, the taste is only lightly seasoned. If you're watching your salt intake then this place would suit you. Good customer service - not overly friendly but eager to help you. I asked about the breakfast menu and was told it's served at any hour.

My sister was in town and wanted to try Sweet Corner Cafe. I was apprehensive at first because of…read morethe location which could be categorized as hidden. Its location was a mystery and the way the food disappeared off our plates was the magic. We were met with love and we were served love in our to go containers. We ordered house fried noodles, orange chicken, house fried gyoza, vegetarian spring rolls with sides of white rice and various, delicious tea drinks. I have never had bacon in my fried noodles before and I know bacon makes most things taste better but this was truly the cherry on top. I loved the noodles. I love thin noodles like angel hair pasta and finally I've found a place that serves a thin fried noodle. It was delicious. The orange chicken was hot and tasty and we didn't get any fatty pieces which made it perfect!! That's huge to my family. Speaking of which, I have a big family we're talking 8 people and the portions at this place were delightfully generous. You might be buying dinner today but you'll likely have lunch for tomorrow too! I don't know what they put in the drinks but I am hooked. My goodness! Iced-Cool Liquid happiness for my tongue, throat, stomach and soul. I was upset when it was gone. I'm still upset. This place is truly off the beaten path but worth the effort to find and dine. Drive directly down the alley when you see the Sweet Corner Cafe sign on the corner(keep your eyes peeled). Go all the way down, you'll be able to turn around and there's parking along a building.

Great little spot with amazingly service…read more It made me so happy to see a giant red cup for my soda instead of somebody coming out with a cup of ice in a can. Thank you for having fountain drinks. I hate to go on about it, but it's annoying when people have cans and they charge you like four bucks. The big red cup is enough to satisfy thirsty folks like me. A little 12 ounce can is not. So let's see, we got the special which was a French toast. I got to say, giant portions and everything was real tasty. That's actually something that should be called on. The prices is very good for the amount of food you get. I was very happy with this place overall with that. My kid got the ube pancake which she was really happy about it because it's basically like having a slice of cake because it's so big and deliciously sweet I got the sampler cause I couldn't decide but in retrospect, I probably would have gotten the seafood Benedict. Because that was really my favorite of the sampler the Moko was great, but Benedict was amazing. I'm always a little hesitant on reviews for places when a vacationing because there's a bit of a bias, but this place will definitely worth it. I would check it out if I was looking for a fun place to go for breakfast

Although it was a 25 minute drive, we would probably wait that much anyways waiting for someone to acknowledge us over at Eggs N Things. Anyways the minute we walked we were greeted right away by a server and told us we can sit in any of the open tables. Servers were friendly and very attentive. We ordered the Da Local Omelette, the Longsilog and I had the ube mascarpone with french toast. Everything was delicious! I didnt get to taste the omelette since my daughter devoured it within a few minutes. I'm taking that as a sign that it was good. I was able to taste the longsilog with the fried rice and it was tasty as well. I might have to tey that next time. The Ube Mascarpone did not disappoint. Very creamy and the right amount of sweetness. Although I coulndt finish it, I did finish the rest when I got home. And while we were eating I noticed that place got full and busy right away. A family came in and a server approcahed them and told them they might have to wait for a few minutes since all the table were full. And guess what? Since the family's presence was acknowledged, the family actually waited outside. See that eggs n things? People actually wait as long as you acknowledge them! Anyways , we have a new place to bring friends to that are visiting Hawaii. Food is delicious, warm ambiance and friendly staff! This place is highly recommended!
