Garlic shrimp (top), waffle bap (bottom)
    Ashley C.

I found out about Morning Feed via Instagram reels. It was the first place that I had dined at during my vacation in Hawaii. As soon as my party and I had arrived, the workers were very welcoming and attentive. They offered insight on their popular menu items and provided suggestions on what to order. We ordered the garlic shrimp and the waffle bap. Both items came out fairly quickly. The garlic shrimp was very delicious. It was seasoned very well and did not at all taste too salty. The shrimp was coated with garlic and butter, which contrasted perfectly with the potato salad. The waffle bap was quite a unique concept--it was a kimchi fried rice that was molded into a waffle shape using a waffle maker. I ordered it with an egg on top. The menu does preface that this has a crunchy texture, but I had not prepared for it to be as crunchy as it was. Although the fried rice was delicious, I would have preferred for it to be a little less hard as it was a bit difficult to chew. Overall, I had a great experience at Morning Feed! The workers were extremely friendly and outgoing. If I could, I would return to try out other food items; however, the workers had informed me that this was just a pop-up location.

Such lovely friendly proprietors who smile and acknowledge you as you stare at the menu. They have regulars it seems and they greet them warmly and also greet newbies like us with equal warmth. Wasn't sure if we go up and order but that's what we did. We sat and were served our food and paid after we finished eating. The burrito was great, nicely cooked tortilla, and the chili oil they provide as sauce cuts the richness nicely. Also got the street toast which was good but not sure the sweet was of the strawberry jam works for me. Had a cold PSL which tasted like it was Vietnamese coffee. Strong and sweet which some may like. Sweet is hard for me so prolly shouldn't have ordered the PSL but I was tempted bc it's fall after all! Very few seats so we got lucky. Nice bc we were hungry and it was a bit overcast and the hot melty burrito and sandwich were a good fit. They are cooking on an outdoor grill so almost feels like you're hanging with a friend group. It is supposed to be Korean fusion but I didn't taste much Korean flavors even though the burrito has kimchi in it. Maybe if they marinated the beef in kalbi or bulgogi sauce?

Went first thing in the morning. The workers were very friendly and welcoming. They greeted me hello and goodbye, and striked up a conversation as well. I ordered the moanin burrito for take out. It was ready in no time. You really can't go wrong with the moanin burrito it's the perfect taste of breakfast (eggs, hash browns), lunch (burrito) & dinner (ribeye steak) all in one. Also the Oaxaca cheese in it.... genius! The combination of the ingredients really makes this burrito so unique and nothing like I've ever had and I've had a countless burritos in my lifetime but this one stands in the top 3. Reminds me of this burrito back in my old hometown 5,000 miles so you best believe I'm very happy to have discovered Morning Feed thanks to Yelp. I live right around the corner and walk this street all the time and I'm sad I haven't found this place sooner. It's kind of tucked in the plaza so it can be easy to miss. It sits in between Five Senses and Margaritas. Definitely will be back. The five stars from everyone doesn't lie!

Breakfast at a Hot New Business in Honolulu, Hawaii... Since it was a Sunday where metered street parking is free, Irene M. and I met at Morning Feed - on the ground level of the 808 Center, by the elevator. There was only one table with 2 chairs. We sat there after the couple before us left. The slight breeze was wonderful, and the sun wasn't burning down yet at 8:30am! We ordered at the counter, then took photos of the outdoor grilling process. I asked if the sauce was spicy - the squeeze bottle looked like a Sriracha mayo type of sauce. I was told it's not spicy, but when I looked inside the Good Moanin Burrito, I saw red chili pepper flakes among the rice, hash browns, melty cheese, and tender, tasty ribeye steak. Maybe it was from the caramelized kimchi... LOL! The owner did give me a sample of the sauce - it did have a little kick. He also gave me a bottle of water to wash it down. Thank you! It's too bad there's no non-dairy options for the lattes yet. I realize that they just completed their first week of operation, so I'll give them some slack. I'd return for the Yobo Toast and the Korean Street Toast - both sound yummy!

Breakfast with a slight twist... Morning Feed is brand new opened last Saturday is located in 808 Center on Sheridan Street on the ground floor right beside the elevator. Breakfast with a Korean twist as we found this newbie you know it's investigation time! Interesting concept as the first thing we see is the entire service area is outdoors including a grill which is where it seems the do some of their cooking...talk about a summertime vibe. With all that room though there's just ONE table that we were lucky to grab, though the concept is grab and go it's nice to offer some seating to enjoy your breakfast nice and hot especially made right off the grill. Menu is quite simple with five items though each are quite different as Nadine C got the "Good Moanin Burrito" which is filled with a slight bougie stuff like rib eye steak along with egg, hash browns, carmelized kimchee, cheese all wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled...the secret sauce they add to it was too spicy for her sadly as they tried to convince her it was slight...I agree it can be spicy. I got the Waffle bap which another fun concept of the Kim chee fried rice cooked in a waffle iron along with egg and corned beef hash was very crispy and yummy though it did need some kind of sauce as it was a bit dry. The staff here are so friendly and kind to answer our questions, just hopefully they add more seating as a crowd gathered just moments later for this super creative place. Thank you!

Located in the back behind Margaritas, this place is truly a hidden gem. We parked and walked up to the host podium - everyone was friendly and greeted us. We opted to dine in and grabbed a table outside near the entrance. We both ordered the Good Mornin Burrito. Cooked to order at the grill, we could see the chef hard at work. The burritos are packed full of steak, rice, kimchi and cheese. They also put a creamy gochu sauce inside which melts in with all the flavors. Really nice balance in one vessel. It definitely is a family run business and they made us feel very welcome, and thanked us for our business. Come here and try the food!

I love cute little cafes with different concepts; take for example, what attracted me to Morning Feed was their Waffle Bap! They used a waffle maker to crisp up the rice. It's definitely best to eat it fresh (we didn't get a chance to eat it right away but it was still enjoyable) Their whole menu honestly sounds really good and I would love to try out their other items -- it's basically an Americanized Korean breakfast. When my friend and I went on an early Sunday morning, it was pretty packed! We didn't have to wait too long for our food but it gave us a good amount of time to check out what everyone else ordered and it looks like the Moaning Burrito was definitely a hit; it's absolutely massive and decently a shareable meal. Their pop up is actually ending mid December but per the owner, they're opening up again in SALT Kakaako so follow their IG for any updates!

Located in the 808 center - smelled this place on the way upstairs to get matcha and had to come back downstairs to give it a try. Service is great, the employees are super nice and attentive. Prices are reasonable - $11.95 for the waffle bap + $1.75 for a fried egg on top. Waffle bap was kimchi fried rice, spam, nori with a crispy crunchy texture in a waffle style which was like nothing I'd ever tried before! The egg was a little too sunny side for me because the whites were still runny and searing was pretty limited, however the rest of the experience was great! Would return to try the good moanin burrito.

Got to try this little gem before they closed the Sheridan St. pop-up spot but we will definitely go find them when they reopen at Salt in Kakaako The Korean Street Toast is a MUST HAVE! The Waffle Bap and Good Moanin' burrito were good too but the service is really what's gonna get us to return They were pretty much set up on the sidewalk inside a building but it didn't feel like it because we were greeted, served, and checked on like any other restaurant. Good service goes a long way!

Really great brunch spot! Def get the burrito if you're hungry and looking for something filling and savory. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Valet guy is also super helpful and nice. Tables are shaded but technically outside (it's in between buildings). Bring something to tie up your hair if needed. Was a bit windy today and I had to eat strategically since I forgot my hair tie. Side note: pic taken after I started eating

really creative Korean fusion kind of food that captures the flavors of korean food in a unique presentation. small menu, but that just means the specialize in those few things and its guaranteed to be good. stopped by for lunch on a weekday and there was no line. they took our order and made the food very quickly, and it was STEAMING hot still when we got home. the kimchi fried rice waffle is delicious. the waffle shape is a creative way to eat rice and because it's pressed in the iron, you get a crust of crispy rice and soft rice inside. the burrito is soooo good. huge portion of meat, and surprisingly goes really well with the cheese and hashbrowns. definitely would get that again.

    Gochujang shrimp - so good!

Such a gem - this cute little brunch spot, really just a few tables in the cool breezeway just behind Margaritas, serves up fresh, unique, delicious breakfast/lunch items. They have a small menu but everything we had was delicious. The waffle bap is fried rice made crispy by searing in a waffle press. Their special of the day was a fantastic gochujang garlic shrimp with rice and potato salad. And the fave was definitely their burrito - ribeye and hashbrowns with kimchi and Oaxaca cheese. All their food is flavorful, but not spicy (if you're concerned. The staff are also lovely. They're only open 8-1, and closed M,T, so plan for that because you don't want to miss out.

My husband and I found this little new breakfast place at 808 Center on Sheridan street. It just opened a few weeks ago and it is tiny place behind Margarita's on Sheridan. It is not quite a full-fledged restaurant yet. It has only 2 tables and they do mostly take outs for now. The breakfast was amazing! We had a burrito and Korean rice waffle and they were fantastic! Very creative! Love it! I am usually not a breakfast person but this Korean-inspired breakfast is just my thing! Thank you!

It's a small, but very kitschy little dining room that fits at most 20 tables so definitely go early or pack your patience as you wait for an opening. However, the service is fast, but friendly and they are able to turn the tables with extreme proficiency and also making you feel welcomed. The items to get at Aloha Kitchen are its souffle pancakes and loco moco. The souffle pancakes is essentially the size of the plate that it came on, but because of the airness and lightness of it's execution, you leave feeling full but not weighted down by normal carbs. The recommendation is the coconut macadamia nut pancake with its unique combination of flavor and textures. The other local item is their loco moco. Get it in its tradition form with the hamburger patty with an egg over easy, but add the spam fried rice over the white rice. The combination of flavors along with its terrific gravy makes this a can't miss item on your stay in Hawaii. The one thing to be aware of is, the will announce the name quickly and only a few times and if you're not present after the first few announcements, you'll be marked as a "no show" and will have to go back to the end of the line, so definitely wait out front if you're there any later than opening. Otherwise, in a sea of numerous breakfast spots in Waikiki, Aloha Kitchen really does stand out. I only wish they had a bigger space, but wonder if that would take away from the charm of this space.

My friend ordered the MAMMA MIA Cocktail composed of Meili Vodka, Strawberry, Basil, Honey, Greek Yogurt and she enjoyed it. Next, my friend ordered the WHIPPED BURRATA Roasted Beets, Walnuts, Pomegranate Molasses. The beets were flavorful as we paired it with the savory cheese and pita bread that accompanied it. This dish was delicately sweet and the walnuts created an even balance to the velvety beets. My friend ordered the PHYLLO-CRUSTED SNAPPER SANDWICH Caper Aioli, Athenian Slaw, Citronette. She enjoyed the crunchiness of the batter and the juiciness of the fish. The accompaniments also made her dish shine. I ordered the Grilled Kebabs Chicken plate with rice. This came with ZA'ATAR FLATBREAD Tzatziki, Cucumber & Tomato Shirazi. The 2 skewers of chicken breast had the charred flavor that paired well with the flatbread, rice, and Tzaziki. The cucumber and tomato added a cool crunch. Lastly, we wanted to try the dessert. We ordered the GREEK YOGURT SOFT SERVE fully loaded.
