Been a very long time since the last time I've been here, and even though the name changed to Cafe 410 from Plantation Cafe, it still has the same people, same vibe, same Aloha. This is mainly a breakfast buffet place located next to the lobby of Ala Moana Hotel. Open from 630-10am weekdays and 7-1030am weekends. No hotel parking, but can park at Ala Moana and walk over. The regular price for the buffet is $27.50. What a deal! Where else can you find a buffet UNDER $30?? No where else! Kids $16.50. Senior/Military/Airlines is $24.75. On certain holidays, Cafe 410 offers a special brunch buffet. We went on Mother's Day. $85/person, $40 for keiki (6-11). Being a keiki at heart doesn't count :(. A very good deal with other places well over $100 per person. It might not be as expansive as other places, but still had Prime Rib, Snow Crab Legs, Roasted Pork Loin, Misoyaki Butterfish, Omelette Station, and etc. The inside is open and spacious, clean and organized. It had a cozy, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. A nice assortment of bread, bagels, and other pastries. Really enjoyed everything in the cold station: sushi, shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon with capers and red onion, cheese with jam, sweet potato salad, green onion and ginger tofu and etc. These were all my favorites! Biggest surprise was the tofu because the green onion and ginger sauce was spot on! Hot entrees were good. Definitely hit up mostly the Misoyaki butterfish and snow crab. Fish was very tasty and flavorful. Crab was sweet. Enjoyed the local style fried rice! Forgot how good it was! Probably the only thing that was a miss was the hamburger steak. I liked the thick patties, but it wasn't seasoned enough in the meat and sauce. Overall, a very nice brunch. Enjoyed everything. Definitely left super full! Service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and super nice. Loved seeing the manager and head chef walking around checking on guests, and each table received chocolate ganache truffles personally made by him. They were very good! Great variety at Cafe 410 breakfast buffet! Needed breakfast during a staycation and saw recommendations from Aunty Nadine and Donna O. for this AYCE buffet. Conveniently located on the ground level of the Ala Moana Hotel (entrance on Atkinson Drive), Cafe 410 features hot entrees (including omelette of the day), fresh fruits, cereal, quinoa, oatmeal, yogurt, miso soup and tofu, waffles, and spinach salad (plus salad of the day), and various pastries. Especially enjoyed the pineapple, hamburger steak with brown mushroom sauce, fried rice, applewood sausage, hickory smoked maple sausage, ratatouille, and chia pudding. Loved the discounted rate available for kamaaina and military. Beverages are included, making for a solid deal (or dealage as Bruddah Fran would say lol). Cafe 410 is open for breakfast only. Went to this cafe located in the Ala Moana hotel on Oahu. My wanted to have breakfast at Cafe 410 because of the convenience since we were staying at the hotel. Waited in line about 15 minutes because of the morning rush. Anyhow the food was cooked really well and not overcrowded or overly salty or spicy. I enjoyed the fruits and I had Mellon and cantaloupe also. Fried rice with scrambled eggs, bacon and Portuguese sausage was Ono! And kinda ate a bit too much but walked it off in the mall. We came in for the breakfast buffet and at leas than $30 per adult and half price for kids, it was the best buffet deal around Waikiki. It's located inside the Ala Moano Hotel and next to the Ala Moana Mall so there is a free parking option if you park at the mall next door and walk over. We ended up shopping at the mall afterwards anyway. Service was good. The server served us water and took our plates away quickly when they were empty. The food was decent! There were miso soup, fried rice, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, fruit selection, pastry selection, oatmeal, hamburger steak with gravy, steam white rice, breakfast potatoes and a few more dishes that I can't remember. There was also a fruit juice selection that you pour yourself and a coffee area too! My kids ate adequately and that's the highlight. Cafe 410 got its current name from its address: 410 Atkinson Drive. It's located on the ground level, right outside of the hotel lobby - on the right side of the valet area. Inside, the waiting area was a bit crowded with tourists who stay at this hotel - because it seems like they receive a breakfast buffet with their room. Eventually, we were seated way in the back with a view of the garden. The variety of breakfast items was quite impressive. I focused on the fresh fruits: watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, oranges, and grapes were sweet! I also liked the caprese salad and spinach/cranberry salad. The bacon, scrambled eggs, fried rice, Portuguese sausage, oatmeal, and Hamburger Steak were all filling. I didn't get a chance to try some of the other items such as cold cereal and miso soup because I just couldn't eat any more. (I did drink some POG [passion orange Guava] juice from the beverage station.) Service was local-style welcoming! Staff were not rushing us to leave even though they were closed already. Great variety of food choices for breakfast even hamburger steak. Only thing missing was a waffle station and made to order omelette station but the overall vibe, interior decor more than made up for that. Our table attendant was super attentive always with a genuine bright smile and so very quick and efficient. Every server and the older Caucasian lady up front should be as welcoming and friendly, Enjoyed the fruits most of all- papaya, honey dew, cantaloupe, grapes and watermelon. Pineapple looked light in color so I skipped them. Besides all the hot items there was also miso soup and oatmeal with condiments. I wanted to try this place for awhile, since during covid, the restaurant was not opened. It's so nice to have the breakfast buffet again and it's under new name 410 Cafe. It's located just outside the lobby by the valet of the Ala Moana Hotel. They are opened for breakfast only and closes at 10am or 10:30 am on the weekends. It seems like most of the diners were their hotel guests and they open at 6am. Maybe their meals are included with their rooms. It's a nice breakfast buffet for $24.50 for adults and it included my coffee and the 4 juices on the breakfast buffet. You can spend just as much for breakfast at other places! Just have to dine early and if you park at Ala Moana Shopping Center, you suppose to pay per sign posted by the walkover bridge. Perhaps best not to park near the hotel or make it obvious. This is a wonderful breakfast buffet and I'm told it's a favorite of the locals as well. The food selection is very good and they have a ton of of breakfast meats, fruit items and plenty of breads and pastries in addition to the usual items such as scrambled eggs, French toast and juice options. The fried rice here is awesome and I wouldn't have ever thought about eating that for breakfast but it's a must have staple here. One missing for me is that I'd love to see pancake and/or waffle options as well as an omelette station, but I've never come up short on finding an overflowing plateful of delicious food (or two). The buffet is around $24.99 at the current time and for its selection, it's a good deal in Beautiful Hawaii. My favorite place to sit is a window table, so if you want one get there early and ask for one. It can be rather busy after 9am so get there early or plan to wait 5 to 15 minutes for a table. We were staying in at the hotel during the Honolulu Marathon weekend and decided to have breakfast here before checking out. It is a buffet style breakfast, which was $24.50 per adult. Personally speaking, for what they've got offered, you should go have breakfast somewhere else. It's very basic - scrambled eggs, bacon, 2 choices of cereal, fruits, juice, etc. You could definitely do better for this price, and you'll feel happier. Go to the neighboring Ala Moana mall. Otherwise, please eat your money's worth of eggs, meats, and fruits. The decor is really nice outside and looks very modern. When you get inside, it feels/ looks like an outdated restaurant from the early 90s. Just doesn't match. It's like click bait. Food wasn't terrible - it tasted like you'd expect, and service was good, so I'll go with the 3-stars. I'll still go somewhere else next time though. read more

From American fare to Asian fare, from hearty to light: It Was All Right Here! First of all we were serviced by a wonderful waitress who was very friendly and on top of things. I saw that they replenish the food right away when they got low. Food was excellent and so fresh. A few moms were looking for a breakfast spot to gather at with a central location, ample parking, and food options for everyone.....all of us were so pleased to stumble upon this breakfast spot!! Each adult is $24.50, senior citizen receive 15% off, hmm, I don't remember how much for children. We were greeted at the door and were asked if we were hotel guest. That made me think of all the family hotels I have used that provided free breakfast so this must of been created for that concept. I'm thankful they allow non-guest to purchase breakfast! As you can see by all of my pictures, there was a great selection! We were shown our table and introduced to iur server who asked if we wanted coffee and water. These were ready at our table when we came back with our plates of food. I enjoyed the fruit selection , the toast and croissant were great especially if you quickly warmed it up in that toaster. I really liked their local fried rice! Oh, who am I kidding, we enjoyed it all w a gazillion coffee refills! A large percentage of their guests are local and repeaters Nothing fancy, fresh fruit, common local starches, breakfast meats (great crispy bacon too), eggs scrambled, breakfast drinks, a leafy green and tomato salad, cereal and oatmeal, and great coffee! Nothing extraordinary...just good tasting and satisfying. The staff is well trained...efficient and caring. Friendly too. The atmosphere is totally casual, as is the attire, like being at aunty's house for a bite. I didn't see any pancakes, and the waffles you have to make yourself, so there's always a line. To me, this place should be in the $12 range food wise, but the service was excellent, super friendly and courteous. There wasn't that much to choose from, but if you're willing to spend twenty plus dollars, and if you're just a simple breakfast person this place may be for you. I'm more of having a variety to choose from, I.e. Portuguese sausage, breakfast sausage, fried rice, etc. There were two meats available today, bacon and ham. Scrambled eggs, white rice, mixed veggies, yogurt, bagels, bread, some fruits, and thin pancakes. My booking came with complimentary breakfast buffets each morning and so I took advantage of it one morning while I had time to. I was greeted by the friendly hostess and shown the way. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious with a number of tables and seats throughout. The floor to ceiling windows did a great job of bringing in the light and making the room feel more open and bright. The buffet itself was your standard breakfast fare of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruits, cereals, baked goods, & juices. The food was a-ok, I got my fill and had no complaints, but again nothing really stood out either. I did really like the donut though! If the buffet doesn't come with your hotel booking, the pricing itself was pretty fair. Prices are Adult $18.50, Child $10.25. It's even cheaper at Adult $14.50 if you just want a continental breakfast buffet. There's also additional offerings that you can order like omelets, organic eggs, and maui brewing beverages for an extra $3-$4. It's a good option if you just need to eat real quick and need more than just coffee and pastries. Otherwise, there's Starbucks just a few steps away in the lobby. read more

I haven't been here in years. I used to come when they served dinner. Now they serve breakfast. The buy one get one free is a limited time special. They have two belgium waffle makers. Be sure to spray on the spam on the hot iron so the cooked waffle can come out. Do not forget to read the instructions. I liked the crispy bacon and the poached egg on the corned beef hash. They also had fried rice, small pieces of potatoes. The fruits were fresh and there was also fried rice, scrambled eggs, ham, small pastries, oatmeal, yogurt. The special is only on certain days - weekdays...for a limited time. We were served with a smile and received timely refills. Definitely eat here if it's free with your stay! I don't recommend eating here if you have to pay regular price - $18.50 each. They did have a decent selection of food and it was pretty tasty. Just not worth the price in my opinion. It's a pretty basic hotel breakfast buffet with some extras. There are pastries, milk, juices, oatmeal, cereal, and then hot selections like a make your own waffle bar, scrambled eggs, fried rice, ham, bacon and more! If you have no transportation this may be a good option for breakfast if you're staying in the Hotel. The staff were really nice and they even brought us juice and refilled our drinks. No sense of urgency to get people seated. They close at 10:30 am but you may wait in line 30 minutes so come early. Very unorganized. Same person seating, cleaning off tables.... Craziness. Need new management. Will update regarding the food if I ever get seated. Still waiting. read more
