Cafe 410 at the Ala Moana Hotel offers a delightful breakfast experience with a wide variety of all-you-can-eat options, including savory bacon, eggs, hamburger steak with gravy, fried and white rice, French toast, fresh fruits, bread, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, and refreshing juices, making it an excellent spot to start your day. The cozy ambiance and convenient hours from 6:30am to 10:00am (and until 10:30am on Saturdays) make it a perfect morning stop, although the service is generally okay. Overall, Cafe 410 provides a satisfying breakfast buffet in a pleasant setting, ideal for guests looking to enjoy a hearty and diverse breakfast before heading out to explore Oahu. Price was $27.50 for adults before tax.

My husband's idea to eat breakfast buffet due to lower price considering inflation on O'ahu food prices. None to the following available or offered: eggs benedict, omelet station, prime rib station, crab or lobster station. Customer service for host/hostess and servers are on par. However, kitchen staff have difficulty replenishing hot and cold items to keep up with locals and tourists feasting in a timely manner. Casual ambience. Chairs, tables and interior could use an upgrade considering location is on the property of Ala Moana Honolulu by Mantra. Noteworthy items: Cinnamon French toast with coconut syrup Halloumi Vegetable Quiche Scrambled eggs tasted fresh and served in oval chaffing dish. Local Style Fried Rice: My husband's favorite. Yes to garlic taste and diced Portuguese sausage. No to too much butter taste. Miso soup: Tasted delicious with seaweed, fresh tofu and green onions. Temperature wasn't hot. Stop here if you're looking for last minute breakfast buffet $25 per person and half that price for kids 11 years and under. 15% off military discount offered when presented with valid photo ID. Walk ins accepted.

Breakfast buffet in Honolulu, Hawaii... Located at the Ala Moana Hotel, Cafe 410 used to be known as Plantation Cafe. All of the old reviews stayed with the location... even with the name change. Cafe 410 got its current name from its address: 410 Atkinson Drive. It's located on the ground level, right outside of the hotel lobby - on the right side of the valet area. Inside, the waiting area was a bit crowded with tourists who stay at this hotel - because it seems like they receive a breakfast buffet with their room. Eventually, we were seated way in the back with a view of the garden. The variety of breakfast items was quite impressive. I focused on the fresh fruits: watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, oranges, and grapes were sweet! I also liked the caprese salad and spinach/cranberry salad. The bacon, scrambled eggs, fried rice, Portuguese sausage, oatmeal, and Hamburger Steak were all filling. I didn't get a chance to try some of the other items such as cold cereal and miso soup because I just couldn't eat any more. (I did drink some POG [passion orange Guava] juice from the beverage station.) Service was local-style welcoming! Staff were not rushing us to leave even though they were closed already. The workers sure hustled and cleaned up all of the used dishes and utensils! This was a fun experience! Thanks to Donna O. for another good idea! For $24.50, plus tax and tip, it was worth it!

Great variety of food choices for breakfast even hamburger steak. Only thing missing was a waffle station and made to order omelette station but the overall vibe, interior decor more than made up for that. Our table attendant was super attentive always with a genuine bright smile and so very quick and efficient. Every server and the older Caucasian lady up front should be as welcoming and friendly, Enjoyed the fruits most of all- papaya, honey dew, cantaloupe, grapes and watermelon. Pineapple looked light in color so I skipped them. Besides all the hot items there was also miso soup and oatmeal with condiments. If I was hungrier I would have perhaps tried them, If you are in search for a breakfast place you might venture here. It's off the lobby by the valet station.

I wanted to try this place for awhile, since during covid, the restaurant was not opened. It's so nice to have the breakfast buffet again and it's under new name 410 Cafe. It's located just outside the lobby by the valet of the Ala Moana Hotel. They are opened for breakfast only and closes at 10am or 10:30 am on the weekends. It seems like most of the diners were their hotel guests and they open at 6am. Maybe their meals are included with their rooms. It's a nice breakfast buffet for $24.50 for adults and it included my coffee and the 4 juices on the breakfast buffet. You can spend just as much for breakfast at other places! Just have to dine early and if you park at Ala Moana Shopping Center, you suppose to pay per sign posted by the walkover bridge. Perhaps best not to park near the hotel or make it obvious. Great breakfast selection. This is what we had for that Sunday. Buffet: Fruits of variety melons , pineapple, Oranges slices & grapes Cereal: dry cereals (2) & oatmeal Miso soup French Toast Pastries (freshly baked butter croissant and muffins) Bagel and sliced bread Spinach & Caprese salad 4 types of juices Meats: Portuguese sausage, chicken sausage, bacons Halloumi (toasted bread pieces with tomato and Cheese (Halloumi) Scrambled Eggs Rice, potatoes, and fried rice! Coffee & tea Items on the menu may subject to change. I really like the selection here and the price. I Just have to go early to dine here.

First time I've ate at cafe 410 restaurant and served is awesome and I would rank this restaurant a 100 percent in food service. And the atmosphere is amazing and very friendly and welcoming too!!!

Beautiful views here.

This is a wonderful breakfast buffet and I'm told it's a favorite of the locals as well. The food selection is very good and they have a ton of of breakfast meats, fruit items and plenty of breads and pastries in addition to the usual items such as scrambled eggs, French toast and juice options. The fried rice here is awesome and I wouldn't have ever thought about eating that for breakfast but it's a must have staple here. One missing for me is that I'd love to see pancake and/or waffle options as well as an omelette station, but I've never come up short on finding an overflowing plateful of delicious food (or two). The buffet is around $24.99 at the current time and for its selection, it's a good deal in Beautiful Hawaii. My favorite place to sit is a window table, so if you want one get there early and ask for one. It can be rather busy after 9am so get there early or plan to wait 5 to 15 minutes for a table. Enjoy!

this is Heavenly

best buffet on oahu! best service too! this place is worth the visit everytime i'm here. skye is awesome too! both super friendly and welcoming!

We were staying in at the hotel during the Honolulu Marathon weekend and decided to have breakfast here before checking out. It is a buffet style breakfast, which was $24.50 per adult. Personally speaking, for what they've got offered, you should go have breakfast somewhere else. It's very basic - scrambled eggs, bacon, 2 choices of cereal, fruits, juice, etc. You could definitely do better for this price, and you'll feel happier. Go to the neighboring Ala Moana mall. Otherwise, please eat your money's worth of eggs, meats, and fruits. The decor is really nice outside and looks very modern. When you get inside, it feels/ looks like an outdated restaurant from the early 90s. Just doesn't match. It's like click bait. Food wasn't terrible - it tasted like you'd expect, and service was good, so I'll go with the 3-stars. I'll still go somewhere else next time though.

Hot coffee and nice cold juices. Ice water with ice.

First of all we were serviced by a wonderful waitress who was very friendly and on top of things. I saw that they replenish the food right away when they got low. Food was excellent and so fresh. Variety of good and healthy food. Very clean and great atmosphere. I love the fried rice and miso soup. And the chia pudding is a must. Over all I give Cafe 410 a 5 star. I recommend this place for a breakfast gathering. Definitely coming back!!! It's worth it.

A few moms were looking for a breakfast spot to gather at with a central location, ample parking, and food options for everyone.....all of us were so pleased to stumble upon this breakfast spot!! Each adult is $24.50, senior citizen receive 15% off, hmm, I don't remember how much for children. We were greeted at the door and were asked if we were hotel guest. That made me think of all the family hotels I have used that provided free breakfast so this must of been created for that concept. I'm thankful they allow non-guest to purchase breakfast! As you can see by all of my pictures, there was a great selection! We were shown our table and introduced to iur server who asked if we wanted coffee and water. These were ready at our table when we came back with our plates of food. I enjoyed the fruit selection , the toast and croissant were great especially if you quickly warmed it up in that toaster. I really liked their local fried rice! Oh, who am I kidding, we enjoyed it all w a gazillion coffee refills! Heehee Hmmm, we got there after dropping our kids off to school and stayed until 10 am when they closed! And we plan on doing this monthly!! Ha! *pls don't park at ala moana mall or else you will get a parking ticket! The mall does not open until later so one mom got a ticket...boo to our wonderful positive gathering!

Was just walking around and happened to walk inside of Duke's Lane. And there I see it... A sign that says Prime Rib. Well.. That sounds bomb! Looks like I have my restaurant and what I'm going to eat. So once dinner time hit, I head over to Basalt! The Prime Rib was delicious. Perfectly cooked and tender. It comes with mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, and creamy horseradish and au jus sauce. Ah everything was delicious! I finished it all! Washed it down with a Basalt Mai Tai! For dessert - I got the Mochi Brownie. Mmm.. Mmm.. So good! Also got hooked up with a scoop of vanilla gelato! (Make this a thing! Lol). I was stuffed and had to get some steps in before heading back to the hotel. Lol. Service - Really good and friendly. I sat at the bar and Mykah (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was awesome and gave some good recommendations. Price $45 for the prime rib. Can't beat that! Will I be back? Oh heck yes! Nico's Pier 38 is a little off the beaten tourist path, but absolutely worth finding. This particular visit was made even more memorable by the occasion that brought us here! The Details: If you're looking for some of the freshest seafood on Oahu, Nico's Pier 38 deserves a spot on your list! Located along Honolulu's commercial fishing piers, directly across the street from Fresh Island Fish Co., where freshly caught island fish are brought in from the boats, Nico's has a unique advantage when it comes to seafood freshness! The menu offers a wonderful variety of fresh fish, local favorites, appetizers, and daily specials. There's also a fish market area featuring an impressive assortment of freshly prepared poke that isn't necessarily listed on the regular restaurant menu. You can purchase your poke there and enjoy it in the restaurant or at the bar. Definitely worth checking out! Nico's gained additional fame after being featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and it's easy to understand why! What I particularly enjoy about this establishment is its location and atmosphere. You're not sitting in some polished Waikiki tourist restaurant overlooking a manufactured tropical paradise. You're right down on Honolulu's working waterfront, surrounded by the commercial fishing industry that helps supply the island with fresh seafood. There's something wonderfully authentic about that! The restaurant itself has a lively, casual island atmosphere with plenty of seating, a terrific bar, and an impressive selection of beers, wines, and tropical cocktails. Prices are quite reasonable, particularly considering the quality and freshness of the seafood. Service has always been another highlight. The staff are friendly, attentive, and full of personality. Our servers kept our drinks topped off, checked on us regularly, and shared plenty of smiles, laughs, and playful banter throughout the evening. Exactly the kind of relaxed hospitality that makes dining in Hawaii so enjoyable! But tonight was about much more than food and drinks. We came to Nico's to celebrate and bid farewell to a longtime friend, Nelson, whom I first met many years ago aboard the USS Essex. At the time, Nelson was a Navy helicopter aircrewman, and I was serving as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. We struck up a conversation about our respective Navy careers, and I shared stories about my earlier years as a Navy Deep Sea Diver before transitioning into EOD. Little did I know that conversation would help change the direction of his career! Nelson subsequently applied for Navy Dive School, successfully completed the training, and went on to spend the remainder of his distinguished Navy career as a Deep Sea Diver. Fast-forward all these years, and my friend is now retiring as a Master Chief and Master Diver! How cool is that?! I'm incredibly proud of Nelson, his accomplishments, and his many years of dedicated service to our country. It's pretty special to look back on a conversation between two young sailors and realize how life's unexpected encounters can help shape someone's future. And what better place to celebrate that friendship and an extraordinary Navy career than sharing some great food, cold drinks, and sea stories along Honolulu's working waterfront? Nico's Pier 38 provided the perfect setting for a memorable evening! Whether you're a visitor looking to escape the Waikiki crowds or a local craving fresh seafood and a laid-back waterfront atmosphere, Nico's is absolutely worth a visit. Come for the fresh fish, stay for the atmosphere, and don't be surprised if you leave with a few new friends and stories of your own! Mahalo, Nico's Pier 38, for helping make a very special evening even more memorable! And fair winds and following seas to my friend Nelson. Bravo Zulu, Master Chief!

Restaurant 604: Great Food, Fantastic Service, and a Million-Dollar Pearl Harbor View!…read more BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): Fantastic island-style food, generous portions, reasonable prices, outstanding service, and one of the most unique waterfront dining locations on Oahu! Whether you're stopping in for a business lunch, enjoying cocktails at sunset, or celebrating with friends, Restaurant 604 delivers a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the drive! The Details: Located just outside Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Restaurant 604 occupies the second floor of a waterfront building overlooking Rainbow Marina and the historic waters of Pearl Harbor. It's a terrific location that combines delicious local food, a relaxed island atmosphere, and beautiful marina views! I suspect most military personnel stationed in the area, along with plenty of locals, are already familiar with this little gem. It's a popular gathering spot for everything from casual lunches to military hail and farewell celebrations. And for good reason! Today, I suggested Restaurant 604 for a business lunch with several teammates and colleagues. Having enjoyed this establishment on numerous previous occasions, I knew it would be an excellent choice. I'm happy to report that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! For my lunch, I couldn't resist ordering one of my all-time Hawaiian favorites, Kalua Pig with rice and macaroni salad! The serving was enormous, with a generous mound of delicious shredded pork topped with green onions, accompanied by two scoops of rice and a hearty helping of creamy mac salad. Now THAT'S what I call an epic island plate lunch! My colleagues explored other parts of the menu, ordering dishes including teriyaki salmon, chicken katsu, and fish tacos with avocado and jalapeños. Everyone seemed equally pleased with their selections. The portions here are substantial, the food is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the location! Another highlight of today's visit was our wonderful waitress, Brittany! She was absolutely phenomenal! Friendly, attentive, personable, and genuinely interested in making sure our entire group had an enjoyable experience. Great service can elevate an already excellent meal, and Brittany certainly accomplished that today! Along with other huge tables. Seriously she did a phenomenal job juggling a ton of customers! Since this was a business lunch, we skipped the cocktails. However, I can personally attest that Restaurant 604 also has a terrific bar! Over the years, I've spent many enjoyable evenings here sipping cocktails, exchanging stories and friendly banter, and watching the sun slowly settle over Pearl Harbor. There's something special about enjoying a cold drink while overlooking the sailboats and marina with the Hawaiian trade winds drifting through. The open-air dining area, nautical decor, surfboards suspended overhead, and panoramic waterfront views give this place a distinctive island personality. It's casual, comfortable, and welcoming, exactly what you want from a great Hawaiian waterfront restaurant. And here's a fun little bit of trivia: Restaurant 604 has even welcomed the legendary Jimmy Buffett over the years! I have a nice picture of him with my friend Bryant. Somehow, that seems entirely appropriate for a place where the waterfront atmosphere practically begs you to kick back with a tropical cocktail. Rest in peace, Jimmy! Fins up! Final Thoughts: Restaurant 604 is much more than just another place to grab a bite. It's a wonderful gathering spot where great food, friendly people, military camaraderie, and beautiful Hawaiian scenery all come together. Whether you're stationed at Pearl Harbor, visiting the nearby historic attractions, or simply looking for a great meal away from the Waikiki crowds, I highly recommend stopping by. Come hungry, bring some friends, and if you have the time, stick around for sunset. The food will fill your belly, the service will lift your spirits, and the view just might convince you to stay for another round! Aloha!
