The cutest permanent food truck located at Waikele Premium Outlets! It's in the back left side of the parking lot (kinda hidden) to the left of the Coach store. This truck is run by two sweet Korean ladies. I was very impressed with my meat jun plate as it was a lot of food for $20. Additionally, it was so fresh. I watched them make it from scratch right in front of me! I really love that this truck serves up fresh made-to-order Korean food and it's not just sitting... you can really taste the freshness. It was one of the best meat Jun plates I've had on Oahu... if not the best! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have several wooden picnic tables that are all shaded as well. My husband loved the stir fry which he said the sauce was tasty and pineapple something he never expected but loved having that extra UMPH in it. I had there udon with black bean sauce which they have another name for this. (Think.....) anyways. I loved it. I also ordered Kim chi Stew from the other Korean food truck next to it called MOOJIGAE Stew was so tasty and spicy but good spicy. Loved it! I would definitely order again from any of these. I got the meat jun since the reviews said it was really good! Even though I gave it 3 stars they did give a good amount of rice and the sides were ok. The meat jun was really burnt and crispy the meat was thin and hard inside due to it being super crispy on the outside. Maybe the other food choices would be better but not sure if I'd be back. read more

Great little food truck located in the outlet mall area along the fence in a shaded area with picnic tables and umbrellas. They have a great looking menu with different plate lunch options. The Stir Fried Chop Steak didn't look like the picture at all, however it was pretty tasty and fed both of us easily. The one plate and bottles of water fed us for under $20.00. I went on 26 DEC for lunch while doing some post Christmas shopping. Spicy stir fried squid has always been one of my favorite Korean dishes and when it is available on a menu, I will order it 75% of the time. Service was very fast. There were 2 Korean ladies working the truck and I was able to converse with them in Korean. Given the option of spicy or mild, I always pick spicy for any spicy dish. Took the clam shell container and sat down on one of the covered picnic tables and enjoyed my meal. Things that could be improved was replacing some of the Hawaiian themed sides like macaroni salad with a more authentic korean side like a different kimchee. Overall, the food tasted fine, just wished there was a little more squid and stir fried vegetables. The flavor overall is very reminiscent of the stir fried squid at Palama but the portion size is slightly smaller. read more

The sides were really good. The Udon was soft and chewy, with pieces of meat and onions mixed in. It was flavorful. The service was pretty fast and as soon as I saw the black bean noodles in the menu i knew I had to try it. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with the jajangmyeon plate here. After shopping we spotted the cutest little food truck and knew we had to give it a try! We could smell the food from across the parking lot and it definitely drew us in! Visited a friend out on the west side and she mentioned food trucks behind the outlets. It was a rainy Friday so there weren't too many people strolling around 5 pm. I saw this place and was hoping to find some bbq chicken with no luck, so I decided to try their kimchee fried rice. Took about 5 min since there was no one else there and the eggs were freshly made to order. The ladies were sweet, offered utensils, and a bag if I needed one. I think by the time we got back to my friends place it was 30 min later. I was impressed by the amount of rice but a little disappointed by the amount of the sides because the pictures on their board showed a plethora of vegetables. Although to their benefit, the slots were a lot smaller for this type of disposable container so that could have been the issue. The kim chee fried rice was delicious with the eggs and sides I couldn't help but eat the whole thing. I was impressed at how each bite continued to taste amazing even an hour after getting it. There's a couple trucks so you can browse around and see what interests you. This bright yellow truck caught my eye and I decided to give it a try. I love spicy foods so I got their spicy squid based on their menu pictures. It did not disappoint! If you can't handle spice this might not be something you'd want to try. It's a good spice where you can feel the heat but not to the point where I couldn't eat. Super flavorful and had pretty good portions. All the food trucks at Waikele Outlet closes kinda early ...7:30pm. I was gonna order something at my favorite "Rainbow Stream" and we were told no at 7:38pm. Then the lady at Chef's Cupbop next door calle us over. They wwre supposed to close at 7:30pm as well but they were willing to make last minute sale....I like that! I ordered a combo plate with kimchi fried rice and spicy pork, and my husband ordered a loco moco. I did not check in with yelp till later so missed out on the 10% coupon dang :( The lady gave me a big portion of fried rice because they were going to toss it anyways. It tasted very good but served cold....i wish she reheated it for me. Spicy pork was very good. My husband's loco moco was okay...the patty was bit on the dry side and the gravy had a strong beef taste...which was not for me but he liked it. What was disappointing was the mac salad came with the plate was so little....I am assuming they ran out, decided not to make any more and gave us the scrape. Overall, the meals were good, not as good as Rainbow Stream, but cannot complain for the last minute order. Went here on labor day. They were pretty busy. Wanted some black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) so we decided to try this place out. Got our order and ate it in the car. At first glance, it looks very different from my mom's lots of cabbage (which my mom, who's pure Korean doesn't put in hers).
